So, Jericho, if he wins, is a 7 time champion? And he's only been in the company for 5 years? And he didn't hold the IC Title from April '01-Sept. '02? And the title wasn't around for around 8 monthes? So in approximatly 3 years, when the year and five month period in which he didn't hold the title and the 8 monthes the title wasn't around are considered, he at Unforgiven would have held the belt 7 times? 7 times in 3 years?

Oh, she was freaking awesome last night. Her mannerisms against Nidia were great. She was a good heel before, but she really turned it up a notch on Raw. Regarding the Diva Search fight thingy...did they not learn anything from Brawl-For-All, or whatever it was called?
-
There are only 6 matches. Are they going to add matches? If yes, which ones? Another women's match?
-
You want me to suspend you RRR? I'll gladly do it!
-
I like the match so far! It is a bit strange that Jericho was acting slightly heelish in the beginning, which is great.

Jericho looked like he was going to burst out laughing when Stevie was claiming he was the woman. You could see the corners of his mouth twitching. I'm looking forward to this match.

When did Vince McMahon lose touch with reality?

See, being a woman isn't a problem. It's her obsession with catering to women with her crappy soap opera storyline and love triangles. I don't think Steph realizes what type of girls watch wrestling. It's tomboys that usually watch wrestling, or girls who oogle at hot guys. The latter doesn't need to be catered, because the hot guys are always there, no matter the storyline. The other group of girls, the tomboys, want role models. Why was Lita so popular before this storyline? Because she was a role model to girls. You don't have to be a damsel in distress! You can hang with the guys (with Lita always interfering in the Hardy's matches) and take it as well as you dish it out! You don't have to be big boobed, blond hair, and blue eyes to be considered hot! Yes, Lita sucks, and we all know that, but she was a good role model to young women. Right when she became the damsel in distress, her popularity waned. Why? Because she lost that appeal. The only females who would watch wrestling for a love triangle are middle aged women who will turn off the TV once the angle is played out. Are those the fans that have to be catered to? Why would WWE even WANT that audience? And even if they did, are three love triangles in the past year or so on the same freaking show (Trish/Jericho/Christian, Lita/Kane/Matt, Stacy/Test/Steiner) really necessary, or smart? NO, it isn't. -
That was AWESOME! Didn't Molly had a confused look on her face after that? Gold.

Is it really that annoying? Come on now, that's a really petty thing to complain about. I liked the Benoit DVD better. The main feature was great story telling, and the matches were off the charts. A rocketbuster, if you will.

OAO SmackDown! Thread - September 2, 2004

I don't think he's much of a jobber when he has a belt, but whatever. And yes, Noble should be getting pushed. I think he might be with the whole Chavo injured angle. -
I'm just wondering why they picked the bad RVD/Lynn match. Are they trying to make Lynn look bad with him being dead weight when knocked out? Because that'd be hilarious. I wonder who the alternate commentary is? Coach and one of the people in the match?
-
I never knew if him stumbling over words was intentional or not.

Yeah, although I didn't remember Kane coming down. But yes, it was the night of the lumberjack match with RVD/HHH. The forklift was the prevent the faces from coming down. Poor Rob was getting whipped bad. Jericho was pretty funny during that match, just going histerical everytime RVD was thrown out and whipped. Just to clarify, it was during the Booker/Big Show hardcore match. And during that match, there is a funny tibit that always gets ignored because of the forklift (and rightfully so). Booker and Big Show end up fighting to the women's changeroom. Right when they enter, the camera, for some really odd reason, pans up quickly. Chris Jericho is right there, waiting for his cue to interfere, and just has a "what the fuck are you doing?" look on his face. It was brief, and not as funny as the forklift, but still pretty funny.

What a huge waste of money... What? Just saying.

I have GOT to find this. Oh man, that sounds hilarious.

That sounds like a private high school hallway! Athletes wear runners or a non-uniform sweatshirt get a free pass (YES~!), but the rest get shat on for an untucked shirt. It's kinda funny, since it's to my advantage, but my friends get quite mad.
-
I know what you are talking about! That was pretty funny. Speaking of really bad facial expressions, when RVD first found out he was the one Goldust was talking about in those odd promos he had after the Rumble in 2002, Rob's "angry" faces were just about the worst thing I've EVER seen. I think he was trying to keep from laughing or something. That has to be the reason.

When Sable first debuted, she was one of Hunter's many valets. He blamed her for a match loss, Mero took exception, and then Sable was with Mero. They feuded over her for a bit.

I heard Edge and Molly think it's stupid to dress like thier high class when they fly coach and pack 5 guys in one car when travelling. And Jericho has impecible dressing skills!
-
I'm not a anti-dress code necessarly, if the dress code is reasonable. But are they still obsessed with wanting to keep kayfabe, like they were awhile ago? If yes, everybody dressing like Triple H or Ric Flair is stupid. But I like the merchandise idea.

Yes, because homeless people wear throwback jerseys all the time.
