Bossman was the fucking MAN during that Rumble. Giving Rikishi the finger, low blowing just about everybody, eliminating Chyna...he was my idol that night. And Jeff Hardy too, but for different reasons. And there were words involved in that one. Terri, no!

Does this mean you don't want in on the Canada trip? Subtlety is not your strong point, Mr. Malibu.

I just don't get why they can't just dress their gimmick, if keeping kayfabe is so important. I can see not being slobs, but it just seems strange for someone with a gimmick like John Cena's to wear a button up shirt.

Not one moment per se, but more a spot: You know how Jericho has that "Fuck You" spot, where his opponent will run stupidly towards him? Now, most guys look stupid doing it as it is, but Christian looks ten times stupidier than anyone else. I don't know what it is, but the way he does it is just hilarious. Maybe it's hte face, maybe it's the way he starts running, but I always get a laugh out of it.

Yeah, exactly. He was just a mean spirited guy who happened to be witty. Just because Edge and Christian re-unite, doesn't mean they have to turn back to being goofy heels who'd make fun of the city and do their 5 second poses. THat'd be like when Jericho turned heel in late 2001 going back to Conspiracy WCW Chris Jericho. Christian's already proven he can do this well. Judging from Edge's slightly heelish acts in teh last couple weeks, he can do it too. It's just a matter of WWE not getting lazy and going back to what works short term, but doesn't help them long term.

Problem: Comedy Edge hasn't been funny since, well, Comedy Kurt Angle was funny. He was always funny as a heel, but that's besides the point. Neither Edge nor Christian should do comedy per se. They should do the same amount of comedy that Jericho did as a heel: enough to earn a chuckle once in a while, but not so much that they can't be taken seriously.

Royal Rumble '00, Pete Gas (I think) doing a run in and running neck first into the bottom rope while trying to slide in the ring. Oh, and Taka's nose-breaking flip.

Speaking of Kane, I kinda liked when he was going to set RVD on fire, but couldn't. How did Rob make it out of that segment without laughing? No wonder Kane had the rag stuck in his mouth...

(This is the Raw after WM 16, when Edge and Christian beat Hardyz and Dudleyz in a three way ladder match) Edge: "Hey - don't hang those heads, guys - pick those chins up, young bucks. YOU did a great *JOB* last night." Christian: "There's no shame in being (makes the 'gun' hand signal) SECOND best - or even (makes 3D sign) THIRD best, for that matter."

A TSM For The Next Age
CanadianChick replied to A Guy Who Injects Heroin Into Kids' Eyes's topic in No Holds Barred
We're irreplacible. Although if TSM is still around in 20 years, maybe we'll have Little Zack check it out. You mean Little Screech, right? We thought about it, but CC doesn't like that name. Damn skippy! Zack's the way to go! -
If you become a whiney bitch, you'll be quite familiar with it.

WWE.com's September Jukebox Offerings
CanadianChick replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
The only thing better? Anyways, nice little array of matches there. It does seem weird that all the matches took place around the same time period for the Smackdown Greatest Matches. -
"Chillax" shouldn't be in anybody's vocabulary.
-
::Smashes Fresco over Zack's head:: It wasn't that good anyways. Hoff contaminated it.

I don't mind Hedenreich killing London at all. It was from behind after his match, so London didn't look helpless like Matthews did. And, it builds some heat between the partners. London will be pissed that Kidman lost the match by heistating, AND left him alone to get beat up. Fine by me. The only problem with this angle is if Kidman has to act too much. It might not be too pretty.

"You were so totally born today!"

I'm pretty sure they weren't going out. I think it was just storyline.

On a Heat a little while ago, he came out as just Stevie Richards. Maybe he forgot the drag that night. I want Stevie to be Victoria's bitch again. That is the only time she was interesting. She can still be a heel. And turn one of the chicks a face already. When the second biggest female face is Nidia, it's time for a change.
-
I think I heard rumblings about that too. Raven came out in a towel from the shower without knowing that Debra was right there. Austin thought he was hitting on her or something.

He did a sunset flip at a house show I went to earlier this year (or late last year...).

"It doesn't make you bad losing to Rob Van Dam... it just makes you like everybody else." It's just such a good dickish heel comment....and the man was a face at the time. This one always made me chuckle: Alright, this is from the week after Kane and RVD faced Triple H and uh, maybe Ric Flair(?). Anywho, Evolution takes out Kane, and steals his mask, so he runs to the back covering his face. Of course RVD gets beat. So the next week, RVD and Kane are in Bishoff's lockerroom. Rob is, justifiliby so, pissed. So Kane gets all angry and yells that they took off his mask. "So you can't fight without your mask? Who are you, Spiderman?" It was just so random, it was great. Here are a couple of quotes from when Jericho pretty much just debuted in WWF, and was feuding with Ken Shamrock: "Oh my God - I've killed Kenny!" “This is not a fabricated, pretend sport like the Ultimate Fighting Championships...no, this is sports entertainment. This is real!” "You can't HANDLE Y2J because I am one BAD mamma jamma!" (Shamrock lifts a bat he's holding.) "What are you gonna do? It's a STEEL cage, you can't get in here, you idiot!" Here's another Jericho quote, from when he was in WCW I believe: "I am going to be known for generations to come not as an icon, not as a legend, but as a legacy! Yeah, a legacy! My momma's going to be so proud!"

Ah, I guess it's just a preference, but I'm partial to spaced out counts. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

Psh. Beltshot on EVERYBODY. And I'm stealing Hoff's drink.

I too loved the graphics. And the intro. On to the matches! Gunner vs. Hoff Hey! AJ! Nice opening match! A very good big man match, with alot of emotion. Good choice to open. It's always cool when a face wins the first match, to get the crowd ecstatic. Predictions: 1 for 1 Judas vs. Christopher Cain Good big man vs. Small man match. Finish wasn't clean, but it made Judas look good. Hopefully this continues. Predictions: 1 for 2 The Mad Cappa vs. Stephen Joseph Short, but it made it's point. Good to see the Los Infernos (MARK OUT~!). Predictions: 1 for 3 Leon vs. Drek Boo-urns on the finish! Nah, I'm kidding. But damn, did Drek look bad ass here. Leon makes a great underdog too. And I love how Leon didn't get serious and stayed true to his character before the match. Word indeed. Predictions: 2 for 4 NNMX vs. GPX vs. Black T: Tag Team Titles Ah, I'm loving the tag division. By Gawd, the one foot high ladder! Is there any place that Jivin' JR will not go? Seriously, awesome match, and huge kudos to whomever wrote it. I loved how there were some sense to the spots, and how everyone was logically incapitated for the finish. Interesting ending with T-Bod, though. We'll see where that goes. Predictions: 3 for 5 Chris Bryte vs. Panther HA! Cole said "vintage"! Hells yeah, this match was B-R-utal. Just sick, but in a good way! Nice little touch at the end with Tina getting the last shot on Bryte. Just insane. Predictions: 4 for 6 COD vs. The Saints Aw man, poor Logan. I still think you rule! Cool match, with just the right amount of comedy in it. And making fun of Cole is ALWAYS cool. Predictions: 5 for 7 Blurricane (~!) vs. JAE Hey! Blurricane's back! Good match, but a very small suggestion: IMO, counts are better when they are spaced out. I think it builds the anticipation more that way. Still a very good match though. Ah man, no 5 minutes? Predictions: 5 for 8 Sly vs. Calvin EW. What's with the knife being used? Die Cal Die, indeed. Another bloody good (haha, GET IT?!?) match. Predictions: 6 for 9 4-Way Tag Match for $10 000 Aw, poor Skulls! No reaction? Whatta burn! Nice match. I love how the tag division is so deep, we can have two multi-tag team matches on one card. Just tremendous. Prediction: 6 for 10 And we all know the World Title Match was great

That's generally told to people who want to lose weight, isn't it?
