On the Raw before Summerslam 2002, during the Rock-HHH main event, Brock gets on the apron in street clothes while HBK & HHH are fighting inside. HHH ducks a punch, and HBK nails Brock off the apron. The clip is in the HBK-HHH video package at Summerslam.

The first was one of the most HILARIOUS things I've ever seen on TV. The monkey vs. Sumo tug of war... classic. Not to mention when the the guy argued that the zebra got a HEAD START or something in the race and they should have a rematch, only to have the zebra annihilate him, again.

I've got nothing better to do right now, so I don't mind tinkering with the order. For the remaining SD guys, I'll just use the ones you named. 1. Chris Benoit 2. Charlie Haas 3. Test 4. Randy Orton 5. Chris Jericho 6. Rico 7. Spike Dudley 8. Mark Henry 9. Shelton Benjamin 10. Booker T 11. Billy Gunn 12. A-Train 13. Bradshaw 14. Kane 15. Matt Hardy 16. Rene Dupree 17. Rhyno 18. Kurt Angle 19. Christian 20. Tajiri 21. Rikishi 22. Rob Van Dam 23. Shannon Moore 24. John Cena 25. Big Show 26. Scott Steiner 27. Nunzio 28. The Hurricane 29. Matt Morgan 30. Goldberg Firstly, Randy Orton here = The Rock in the 1998 Rumble, except he isn't the last one out. Benoit fends off three heels in the beginning, and Jericho makes the save. They help each other out throughout the match. TWGTT eliminate Mark Henry. Kane goes for another good distance this year, and he gets to fight Booker T for a while. Kane gets to eliminate dead weight like Billy Gunn, Spike, Rico, and A-Train. Matt Hardy comes in right after Kane, who has everyone in the ring down. Matt hangs around outside until everything cools down. Cheap heat there. Rene Dupree enters at # 16, and Angle eliminates him for the USA pop, because he did dedicate his win to the troops. Christian tries to eliminate Jericho late in the match, but Jericho eliminates him instead, further adding to a split. Matt Morgan enters at # 29 and gets to play the big heel hoss that has a late draw, like Warlord, Adam Bomb, & Crush. Goldberg enters last, of course, and gets to destroy Morgan, Nunzio, Tajiri, Rhyno, and whoever else. Kane eliminates Goldberg cleanly. Final Four are Benoit, Angle, Orton, and Jericho. Jericho eliminates Orton, but Orton is pissed and distracts Jericho, allowing Angle to come from behind and toss him. Angle and Benoit go at it for a few minutes complete with trading German suplexes. I can't think of any real creative finish, so have Angle apply the Ankle Lock, only to have Benoit roll through, pushing Angle out, along with Benoit hitting him off. EDIT: Alot of similarties between mine and yours, Choken. Weird, because I didn't even read past the numbers in yours.

Thank you... I definitely agree that this year's winner is actually unpredictable. I easily see Benoit, Goldberg, Angle, Cena, or even Jericho winning. I'll be cheering for Benoit, personally.

- Bret vs. Austin (WM 13) - HIAC: Undertaker vs. HBK (Badd Blood) - Bret vs. Owen (WM X) - Bret vs. Owen (Summerslam 1994) - HBK vs. Mankind (Mind Games) - Angle & Benoit vs. Edge & Rey (No Mercy 2002)- - Austin vs. The Rock (WM X7) - 10-Man Tag (Canadian Stampede)

In no order... 1997: Lawler eliminated by Bret 1999: Chyna by Austin. As soon as Chyna hits the floor, you get to see Mark Henry laughing his ass off while pointing at her. 2001: Kane by Austin. I love the entire end sequence after Rock goes out. 2003: Matt Hardy F-5ed by Brock into Team Angle 2003: Jericho simultaneously tossing Edge & Christian. There's probably a bunch more I'm just not thinking of.

I'll be in the front row~!
-
Definitely love the Flair flops, and of course when he goes to the top rope, only to be thrown off.
-
I'd definitely be up for a card like that. Matches like Angle-Eddie, HBK-Benoit (drools), Cruiserweight match, and possibly Rock-HHH, Jericho & Edge vs. Christian & Matt, and Booker T/RVD could all deliver.

So I'm watching the 1999 Rumble match earlier today. Already in the ring are guys like Austin, Boss Man, HHH, Val Venis, Jarrett, X-Pac, and a few others. Right before D'Lo comes in at # 28, you hear HHH say from a far, to someone, "If I throw you, can you hold on?" It's pretty loud, too... although this is the first time I've ever noticed it.
-
Yeah, I'm really hoping for both Eddie and Chavo to be in the Rumble. And Flair in there as well would be good, too.

Royal Rumble 2002 Line of the Night: (As Austin is walking out) "Stone Cold came to win the Rumble, but it was not to be on this night... thanks to MR. PERFECT and Kurt Angle." - JR If you press mute on your TV right after Mr. Perfect, though, it sounds like Curt did it all by himself.

ummm.......Sid eliminated Hogan. It makes perfect sense. Like I said though, Hogan was the top # 1 babyface in the company. Young kids are supposed to look at the guy as a basically a role model. Hogan gets eliminated CLEANLY by Sid. Rather than just walk off and "fight another day", Hogan decides to basically go against that and help heel Flair win. Even Gorilla Monsoon makes a case about it on commentary. Unless it was foreshadowing a heel turn, it made no sense.

I don't think Steiner has a permanent finisher that he uses on a weekly basis yet (so that excludes the Steiner Recleiner). But the two finishers he has used, the reverse DDT and downward spiral, have been pretty bad.
-
I hate 1992's ending. It was the best overall match, but it made no sense for # 1 face Hogan to pull Sid, another face, over and help heel Flair win. Best ending for me would be 1997, 1998, or 2001. (Them all being Austin wins is a coincidence.) Worst is a toss-up between 1995 and 1999 for me. While 1999's crap like Austin-McMahon and Undertaker stuff is rediculous, 1995 has the dreaded 60 second intervals, not to mention a serious lack of star power.

RAW - Goldberg won the belt from HHH at Unforgiven - Orton was pushed more and more, beating HBK at Unforgiven - RVD beat Christian for the IC Title in a Ladder match on RAW - Lita returns and feuds with Molly for Women's Title - HHH put a $100,000 bounty on Goldbergs head, forcing us to watch great RAW main events like Goldberg vs. Mark Henry and Goldberg vs. Batista - Shane beat Kane every other week leading to Survivor Series, until Kane finally beat him - At SurSer, in a Elimination tag match, Bischoff's team beat Austin's team which forced Austin to leave WWE... he left of course only about a month - Jericho & Trish, started to get together, as did Christian & Lita, but it was revealed in December that Jericho & Christian had a $1 Canadian bet over who could sleep with their girl first... Jericho's still going after Trish now. - Mick Foley returned as a CONSULTANT and basically rehired Austin. He was supposed to have a retirement / IC Title match with Orton on RAW but walked out. - Evolution won all the titles at Armageddon: HHH - World Title, Orton - IC, Flair & Batista - Tag - HBK returned to awesome matches, with a great match with HHH for the World Title on the last RAW before 2004. Dusty finish saw HBK get the belt in San Antonio, only to have the decision reversed to a draw because of a double pin. - HBK vs. HHH rematch is set for the Rumble, Last Man Standing match. Smackdown - Angle, the champ, feuded with Brock into October, where he lost the belt to Brock in an Iron man match on SD. - Vince had an I Quit match with Steph at No Mercy, where he won and therefore, Steph is fired. - Big Show won the US Title at No Mercy (10-19-03) and has yet to defend the title at all on TV. - The Guerreros break-up has been teased since October, and it FINALLY happened last week. - Undertaker started to feud with Vince over crap like not treating his family good. They fought in a buried alive match at SurSer, where Vince won when Kane interfered and buried Taker. - Hardcore Holly returned and is set to face Brock for the title at the Rumble. - Cena turned face before SurSer and is "feuding" with Big Show over the US Title. - Rey Mysterio & Tajiri have had some good cruiserweight matches the past few months. There ya go...
-
Trust me guys, the Jersey Shore IS crap, especially Seaside these days.

I don't care who it is just as long as it's not JR & The King. Since I'm going to the Rumble anyway, though, I won't have to worry about it until I pick up the DVD. I would pick Cole & Tazz, especially with Benoit probably lasting the entire thing. I'm a Cole-Miner...

I bought PS2 #1 on the launch date, and that broke about March last year. I bought PS2 #2 on May 26, 2003... it broke in November. I sent it into Sony to be repaired in late November. According to Sony.com, the latest status is that it was FINALLY assigned to a repair technician on Dec. 30... I expect it back by March... February if I'm lucky.

War Games from 1996 is on the nWo DVD.
-
HHH & Steph did, but it's usually just remembered as The Rock's win.
-
Wasn't it Headhunters?
-
Honky Tonk Man wasn't a mystery/surprise entrant in 1998, because when HHH got injured, they announced him as entering. 1998's only surprises were Mankind & Dude Love, after Cactus was eliminated.

It wasn't a good match, but it was kind of his most important. I'd say it's more of a Brock match, and not only because he won. Sure, Kurt was the champ, but Brock just had the better performance, strategy wise and all. (using the chair to DQ himself, but doing damage to Kurt and getting a fall for himself)
