Benoit will win the Royal Rumble and go on to WM to beat Brock for the title. Wishful thinking, eh?
-
HBK vs. HHH rematch. I liked the idea of an "I Quit" match that was mentioned in the SK thread. If not that, than 2/3 Falls, the normal way. If WWE insists on putting on Brock-Holly, make it either a Street Fight or Cage. Now for the Rumble match... First of all, make it two minute intervals. Benoit enters at # 4 or something, Angle enters at # 8 or something, and they casually team up and eliminate a few guys. Eddie Guerrero comes in early, too, with Chavo coming in during the really late numbers. When Chavo enters, Eddie eliminates him, causing more problems. Have Goldberg enter late and destroy a few problems before being eliminated by Evolution or Kane. Basically, Benoit wins and goes onto WM to face Brock. Iron men are Benoit, Angle, and Guerrero. I'd like to see Lance Storm in their for a decent amount of time, too. I'd love to see some of the pre-Rumble interviews. I always loved those.

I've never seen 1991, 1990, or 1988, so I'm not counting those... 1. 2001 - Best overall show, IMO. Good tag match, Ladder match, and 2nd best Rumble 2. 1992 - Best Rumble of all, but a bad undercard except for opener. 3. 2000 - Decent Rumble, awesome undercard 4. 2003 - 3rd best Rumble, IMO, MOTY Angle vs. Benoit 5. 1998 - Decent Rumble, good Casket match 6. 2002 - Decent Rumble, decent undercard 7. 1997 - Decent Rumble carried by Austin 8. 1995 - Bad Rumble, IMO, but good undercard 9. 1994 - Decent Rumble, bad Casket match, good Tag Title match 10. 1993 - Two good matches, boring Rumble 11. 1989 - Nothing too interesting, IMO, first 30-man Rumble 12. 1996 - Mediocre Rumble, bad undercard 13. 1999 - Worst Rumble, bad undercard except for Rock-Mankind

No extras for Vengeance, Summerslam, and Unforgiven. No Mercy actually does have extras... - Kidman vs. Shannon Moore from Heat - John Cena raps with a fan - Michael Cole interviews Big Show on Heat - Eddie Guerrero sprays Big Show with sewage on 10/9 Smackdown

"Price to Play" and "Bring Me to Life" were both pretty good. My favorite video package with theme song was "Crack Addict" for Rock-Austin at WM, though.

Good for him, he enjoyed the match...

Anyone else think this was the quote that this entire thread was about in the first place? The "SHAMROCK! SHAMROCK! SHAMROCK!" stuff is just as funny.

Kane's unmasking... it could've been good given a good storyline with RVD. Instead we got RVD squashed every night and Shane beating Kane every other week.

Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard in the cage "I Quit" match on the Bloodbath DVD. Good match...

I've been watching the early WWF Attitude Era stuff, mostly Austin vs. McMahon stuff. I watched Wrestlemania XIV last week, and I've been watching both Austin vs. Dude Love matches from Unforgiven & Over the Edge. On a side note, after just watching it... the Inferno match between Undertaker & Kane REALLY sucks bad. I never thought it was that bad. Punch-punch-big boot-rest-tease getting tossed in fire-punch-TOPE-drum over Paul Bearer-punch-Kane lit on fire. That might as well be the entire match.

So, how does everyone rank all of 2003's PPVs? I'd say they were split down the middle of good ones and bad ones, with the bad just edging out the good. Here's mine... 1. Wrestlemania XIX 2. Vengeance 3. Summerslam 4. Survivor Series 5. Royal Rumble 6. No Mercy 7. No Way Out 8. Backlash 9. Armageddon 10. Judgment Day 11. Bad Blood 12. Unforgiven Deciding between Vengeance and WM XIX for # 1 was a close-call, but I like WM XIX better for the epic, WM feel and all.

I started to watch the show during TBS's three times a day run this past summer, too. I never did see the last episodes and all, so maybe someone could answer this question: I saw the one where Jackie finds out about Dan's affair with another woman or something, and Dan & Roseanne break up for a while. What happened from there, just the heart attack?

After just looking over the PPV calendar over at WWE.com, Royal Rumble 2004 is listed as taking place on Jan. 25, 2004... correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the last Sunday in January? Super Bowl Sunday to be exact? If they're booking the Rumble same night... they're screwing themselves with the PPV buyrate. It seems that every other year, they made sure not to book the Rumble on the same night. I believe the Rumble's in Philadelphia's Wachovia Center... maybe the arena's booked the week before or something, because it's just stupidity on WWE's part, otherwise.

I saw the movie yesterday... What else is there to say? Awesome, awesome movie. Better than the other two. The ending seemed to go on and on, not that it was a bad thing. Funny watching some people leave the theater at certain points near the end, thinking it was over... Meanwhile, the movie goes on for another 5-10 min.

Something I just remembered about Judgment Day and
Aero replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
I like Judgment Day. Eddie vs. RVD and Edge vs. Angle are good enough. And yes, I'm aware that their Backlash was better. HIAC was decent. Not every one needs a big bump. And I enjoyed Austin vs. Flair & Big Show. I love the chops they exchange in the match. (Whoo! What? Whoo! What?) -
Undertaker vs. Austin, Buried Alive Match from Rock Bottom. One of my most hated match's.

Well, RotK sounds awesome. I'll be going to see it tommorrow, probably in the afternoon. I can't wait.

There were always a few different myths about the Triforce being hidden in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. There were also a bunch of fake pictures online, too.

I voted Austin, only because unlike Owen (my second pick), Austin made the most of his win and reached main event status. Owen made the "King of Harts" gimmick really entertaining, but he never fully reached the main event.
