I'm really hoping that Shane vs. Bischoff doesn't happen. When Shane said that the match was off on Raw, I was thrilled. Then, I got pretty disappointed when he said he would kick his ass, which never got fulfilled, mind you.

The story with Matt recruiting Zach after winning the match sounds convincing, but would that turn him face or keep him heel? The Matt-Gowen match sorta reminds me of Skip vs. Barry Horowitz from Summerslam 95. Although, Gowen didn't beat Matt on TV prior to the PPV to set it up. Still, after all these losses to guys like Shannon Moore and Nunzio, I have a feeling that Gowen will get the upset win.

Source: PWTorch & Rajah -------------------- Guess that means no TWGTT vs. Rey & Kidman for Summerslam. Anyone else think that they'll recreate Kidman turning on Rey on SD next week? Or maybe it'll be used to make house shows seem more important like the IC title change.

Hey, I went to that show! It was in Atlantic City. I only have the main event on tape, which a friend taped for me. One of my favorite segments, as I loved the entire HBK-Taker feud.

For pride, let's not forget Raven. And I don't know where to put them, but Nova, I know, and maybe Jack Victory live here. I've actually seen Nova at the movies. Jack Victory, I believe, lives about a block away from my high school. There's an ECW trailor in the driveway.

Well, sometimes the first pin wins stip works really well with the match. Look at the Jericho vs. Benoit vs. Guerrero vs. X-Pac match from No Way Out 2001... that was a GREAT match, and the ending made perfect sense. Plenty of nearfalls leading up to the pin, and Jericho got a roll-up on X-Pac, I believe, with both Benoit and Guerrero trying to break it, but missing by a second.

I'd definitely buy a WM DVD set. I'm still missing I, II, V, & VI for my collection. I never got around to buying the Legacy versions. Now, most video stores around me don't even carry anymore WWF videos... only WWE videos. Having match histories and other extras would definitely be a plus, but I wouldn't be too upset with just the PPVs.

Negative star ratings - Should they be used?

Well, one of the only matches that I would rate -***** off the top of my head would be Ultimate Warrior vs. Goldust from IYH: Good Friends, Better Enemies. Goldust walks around the ring for nearly 15 min. while talking on the mic, and Warrior hits one clothesline or something. -
I'm thinking The Hurricane (most likely), Steiner, or Goldust.

Anyone care to tell me the match listings?

I somewhat agree with The Replacements being on the worst list. I never really liked it much. There's only a few funny parts, IMO. One question... where's Major League?

Here's an interesting story... A kid about 19 yrs old that lives down the block from me works the independents here in NJ, under the name Little Ricky. About a year ago, Jannetty was working the same show as him, and they actually ended up in a match, where Ricky pinned him.

1996- to set up Diesel vs. UT Yeah, I was just going to post the same thing. The Rumble came first, and Diesel was eliminated last. He was all pissed and even beat on the Bulldog into the back. The Rumble loss kind of motivated his confrontation with Undertaker. For anyone who cares, here's last years EC picture... compare and contrast...

I would think Brock wins the title, because if he doesn't... what next? I'm guessing he would beat Kurt cheaply... mostly likely via McMahon interference. Kurt could then chase the title all the way to WM, going through opponents like John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Rhyno maybe even Benoit, again. As for the Chamber, I'm sticking with Jericho all the way as the winner. I figure eliminations will go like this. Also, I'm going to bet that unlike the first EC, all six men will enter the match before anyone is eliminated. 1. Nash (via HHH Pedigree, along with help from Jericho) 2. HHH (I'm thinking probably injury, as said above by Choken, or an inadvertant Orton pin.) 3. Goldberg (the spear through the glass is a great idea, whether he goes through alone or by spearing someone else.) 4. Orton (He's supposed to be made into a star, so make him last longer. HBK pins him by reversing the RKO into a roll-up / cradle) 5. HBK (Orton attacks HBK after his elimination, Jericho and HBK fight for over 5 min. in a back & forth contest. Jericho cleanly wins with the Walls... not likely.) If I were to book the World Title feud up to Unforgiven, I'd book Jericho as a strong, heel champ. The night after Summerslam, Jericho cuts Nash's hair with a clean win. Jericho targets his quad, and HBK takes exception to this and challenges him to a rematch. In exchange for the title shot, Jericho wants HBK's career because he says he's beaten him twice before, and third times a charm. Jericho vs. HBK at Unforgiven, 2/3 Falls (not 3 stages of Hell). Jericho wins at Unforgiven, BTW.

There's a good review of it over at the Oratory wrestling site. It includes match reviews, extras, and easter eggs. I also have the DVD, myself, and would recommend it. Here's the link to the Oratory review if you want it... Review

I guess Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin from WM 13. That's one of the matches that I would be proud to show anyone that doesn't watch any wrestling.

Good to know... I've been looking forward to it for almost a month. The plot looks really interesting and exciting. I'll probably see it within next week.

I haven't seen much WCW, but Oz is by far the worst up there. Modeling a gimmick after the Wizard of Oz is just wrong... in the sense that it's just stupid.

Well, the ECW / WCW alliance was pretty surprising to me. Kurt Angle turning on WWF and joining WCW in November 2001, I believe, was somewhat surprising. On this subject, I was surprised that the fans took Steve Austin back as a face so quick after Survivor Series 2001. Just recently, I was surprised that Eddie Guerrero turned on Tajiri. He approached his car all sympathetic, and then suddenly, he slides Tajiri off the car like nothing and moans about the car. You know the rest.
