I always liked Vic Mackey beating Armadillo with a dictionary and then burning his face off on a stove top.

    Impact Spoilers

Now I'm not one to defend Russo since I think most of his booking sucks, but I have to give him credit here. Seems like fans get upset when feuds are either blown off after one match, or the feud ignored/forgotten after the one match. Granted the gimmick names are horrible, but at least they're being booked like actual feuds. The problem is that nothing is being resolved in some of these feuds. Rhino & AJ had a regular match first, and now they're going on gimmick match # 3. Sting & Abyss have been involved in a singles match, two triangle matches, and they will now be going on gimmick match # 2. LAX & Team 3D had a regular match, and now they're on gimmick match # 2. I was fairly interested in TNA last fall, but the last three PPVs or so have seemed exactly the same... same matches, different gimmicks that will resolve nothing.
  4. That second shirt is beyond horrible. Obviously they didn't want to use, "That's how I roll" since Christian still uses it, but come on...
  5. I remember constantly hearing Sid, but I don't know how accurate that is. I was on the internet very little at this point.

    Smackdown Spoilers

They must have realized that Noble and Funaki were still on Smackdown, and Moore is apparently not extreme enough for ECW. He had to have had the worst run of anybody from ECW. I love how anytime WWE needs to fill the card for a Smackdown PPV, they call in all the cruiserweights to have a pointless 8 minute match. And no Benoit? I figured he would have no one else to face at the PPV but Kennedy.

    Scrubs

I'd say that was probably the best episode this season, but I wished they continued the Dorian joke throughout the entire episode.
  9. Are you killing them one by one, or one and then the remaining two together? The latter usually worked for me. They only seemed to revive the others if you killed all but one.
  10. Well, if it helps, you can always kill only one first, and then kill the other two (which should be two that stay close to each other). I think the spin attack should get the job done on the remaining two.

    OAO No Way Out thread

Well, if it makes you feel better, they do have a match on Smackdown this Friday, so maybe that will be the end of it. Here's the winner if you're wondering...
  12. Honestly, that's one of the worst ideas I've ever read. Almost as stupid as Austin and Kurt Angle joining the alliance during the Invasion. Outside of one of the originals actually switching sides, I don't think it's a bad idea actually. The New Breed would have to be 'losing the feud' though for Vince to go out of his way to claim that someone is switching. Build off miscommunications and whatnot on the originals side, and it could create some tension. Just make sure that no one actually switches. I mean, can you really see Dreamer, Sandman, Balls, RVD, or Sabu going corporate?
  13. So did everyone the Macho Man beat.. It wasn't a flying elbow drop.
  14. Let's not forget about when RVD jobbed to an elbow drop on the preshow of WM XIX.

Plus, if he announces that he wants to face Batista, then they can do the "HOW CAN THEY COEXIST!?" story to the extreme at No Way Out. Same deal does for HBK-Cena if they get that announced early.

What game(s) are you playing now?

Rotating between No Mercy, Revenge, and VPW 2, with the occasional Wii Sports.

  19. Don't know about Vader & Race, but HBK's manager was his mentor, Jose Lothario, who was ringside with him for just about everything between WM XII and Survivor Series 96.

Smackdown Spoilers to be aired Feb. 2/07

Smackdown usually has at least one 15 minute+ match per week (usually mid-show), and it's praised just about every single week.

    OAO Monday Night Raw Thread-1/29/2007

I'd honestly rather see Cena vs. Taker than HBK. If HBK desperately wants in the match, maybe he can cut in during the contract signing again. It worked three years ago.

    OAO 2007 Royal Rumble Thread.

And yet Raw is still considered the superior brand by WWE. I mean, Smackdown won most of the stuff in the Raw vs. Smackdown war of late 2005. Smackdown has won the most Rumbles. Smackdown won the 2002 King of the Ring... They won the Survivor Series 05 match.

    OAO 2007 Royal Rumble Thread.

I thought the PPV was pretty average, but by WWE's recent standards, that means it was good. Hardys-MNM and the LMS match were both entertaining enough, and Batista-Kennedy was fine given the short length. ECW was shit, obviously. The Rumble match was better than last year's, but lacked any really memorable spots outside of the last 10-15 minutes after Khali entered or Shelton's feet dangling an inch over the floor. The last 10 minutes or so with Taker vs. HBK has to be one of the best, if not the best, finishes of all the Rumbles. There was actually a lot of suspense, there. I'd pay for a PPV that has HBK vs. Taker.

    OAO 2007 Royal Rumble Thread.

Taker tosses HBK over after a ducked superkick. Think Benoit tossing HBK outside at WM XX right before the finish, except not as crisp.

I'd rather see that than Taker/Batista. They usually seem to have good matches, anyway. The real swerve would be for Taker to go to ECW.
