I'm sure it was discussed within the last page or two, but the one thing that really pisses me off is the weight system. Rey Mysterio, who's a 90, can't do jack shit to any of the heavyweights like Taker, Kane, or JBL. Even a dropkick or the TOE KICK of doom leaves no effect other than them just brushing it off. One small thing I really like, though, is that you can immediate start the challenges straight from the challenge mode menu without having to manually change all the options.

From what I've read on other sites, no. It took a while, but I'm finally getting used to the new controls, and I'm liking them much better. There's just a bunch of little things that annoy me about the game. For instance, any time not during an entrance, all the titantrons in every arena just have the black screen that flashes the WWE logo. Every other game since I can remember has had the action on the trons. Yes, it's a minor thing that doesn't affect gameplay, but it just irks me that it was taken out. I will say that so many of the reversal animations look much more smooth, and then there's a bunch of cool new ones as well. I was being Shelton against Big Show. He was standing, and I tried a moonsault from the top, but he actually caught me in my upside down position, held me for one of the ultimate-control moves, and then brought me down for a powerslam. It's been said, but the cruiserweight weight difference is rediculous. Rey Mysterio can't even Irish whip Finlay. I was being Finlay vs. him, so maybe he was attempting a strong Irish whip, but that's crazy.

Was there any particular reason why Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart were in separate matches at Survivor Series 89?

Final match is... Lita vs. Mickie

Today's announced match is a first blood match between Taker and Kennedy. I assume there would be one more elimination tag to be added to get guys like Carlito and Benjamin on the card.

I think this was right after Bret turned heel. Vince did something to piss him off so he storms down to the announce table. The two exchange words and IIRC the word, "bullshit '' was said by Bret. They get into a scuffle where they pull each others jackets over their head, hence the term ''hockey fight.'' I still don't rememeber this whatsoever. Along the lines, I remember the last Raw before Mania 13, Bret shoved Vince after losing a cage match and saying "bullshit" and "god damn" several times. That doesn't quite sound like what you described though. I want to say this is Bret's reaction to Vince allowing HBK to be the guest referee at Summerslam 97. I could be wrong, though.

And today's announced match is the obvious Booker T vs. Batista World Title match. Please tell me there will be some stipulation to be added.

About the 8.0 rating IGN gave the 360 version, from what I can tell, it's actually the exact same review of the PS2 version, with a couple words changed here and there. I've seen it confirmed on other message boards that the major difference between the two versions, other than graphics obviously, is that the PS2 CAW has the usual 32 layers, but the 360 has 64 layers.

I'm happy to see no sign of Venom in there, leaving hope that it won't be complete overkill with him, Sandman, & Goblin II. I assume the ending of the movie would obviously be Brock becoming Venom, though.

Here's the question: Who wins? It seems stupid to have Angle lose his first really big match in TNA, but Joe's undefeated streak is still going... Angle doesn't need the rub of beating Joe because he's already a superstar. I see TNA giving Angle the win, because logically, who else could they have lined up to finally beat Joe?

I'd guess that the entire legends team survives, with it coming down to just Kenny, who bails and gets counted out.
-
Why not, though? Sure, have a couple of big matches outside of the elimination tags, like a World Title match or two, but why not finally give Survivor Series reason to be one of the big four PPVs? WM is the biggest card of the year, Summerslam is usually supposed to be WM-lite, and the Rumble has the Rumble match... Survivor Series for the past couple years has had a normal elimination tag or two with a forgettable card. Give it the gimmick of having wacky multiple brand elimination matches.
-
Hate to repeat the same thing, but I love this match. I'd order a full card of these brand-mixed Survivor Series matches in a second. If they're doing this one, you have to figure there will be at least one more with Cena and Umaga. I'll go out on a limb and say Punk is the sole-survivor, leading to him winning the title at D2D. Of course, DX are very cheaply eliminated, with HBK being counted out, and HHH laying down after about 3 spears and an RKO.

Booker vs. Batista AGAIN? I assume this is where Batista finally gets the belt, but we've already seen one horrible PPV match and two free TV matches.

I'm surprised they gave Tazz his ECW music. I was worried a few weeks back when I saw a screen of him wrestling in his suit, but thankfully he's in his singlet. Yeah, it sucks that Bigelow doesn't have any music, but whatever... I usually turn entrances off after about a week or two.

People were sick of McMahon and Coach just flat out sucks. I know that, but what I meant was, did the guest referee do anything important to justify the whole voting stipulation being based on who referees?
-
So, did Bischoff do anything of note to justify the vote being based on a guest referee?
-
Technically, Jericho inspired Vince to create the PPV by having the fans "select" the type of match for him and Christian to have at Unforgiven 04. Bischoff was totally against the idea.
-
I'd love a reanimated muscle buster. The one in the last game just doesn't have a good impact.

1st Financial Bank with an $1800 limit Sears card with $1800 limit Target Red Card with $200 I actually just got the Target card yesterday for the sole purpose of saving 10% off my purchase.

YES! Probably my favorite hockey game ever. I usually went with two fat guys and two skinny guys.

Don't know the song, but speaking of Dirt, can anyone confirm that FX is pushing back Season 6 of The Shield to March in order for Dirt to start in January? If it's true, then that sucks.

I've just started watching the re-runs that have been playing on Fox lately, so I'll probably try to check out the new episodes along with the DVDs. Now if Tobias manages to get on, then I'll definitely be sure to watch.

So, that makes it RVD, Show, and I assume: Sabu, Dreamer, Test, & Sandman? This show is going to have a long Chamber match and an undercard stacked with Raw and Smackdown guys, along with with the obvious Knox/Punk match.
