Hardy vs. Helms opens
-
Four-Way Match No doubt Booker's winning. I'd say that Lashley has the least chance out of everyone for the mere fact that they changed it to a four-way. Finlay likely takes the fall. Winner: Booker T Taker vs. Kennedy Kennedy should win to get the rub, but Taker winning wouldn't be a surprise. I'll pick Kennedy with a cheap win whether it be with a belt shot or holding the ropes. Winner: Kennedy Mysterio vs. Chavo Storyline wise, Rey needs the win, so Chavo can "injure" him tommorrow on Raw. Winner: Mysterio Londrick vs. James & Stevens There is no reason to put the tag titles on the bland team of James & Stevens. Londrick can use another PPV win after not being on TV the past few weeks. Winners: Londrick Hardy vs. Helms I'll pick Hardy for no particular reason. Winner: Hardy MVP vs. ??? ??? is probably Vito given that they had that confrontation a couple weeks back. It's MVP's debut, so he'll win, although Vito will have to be protected, so it'll be a cheap win, likely by holding the ropes since that's WWE's favorite cheap finish. Winner: MVP

IGN has a No Mercy PPV simulation up right now for Insiders only. Kennedy's entrance is PERFECT, complete with chasing Tony Chimmel out of the ring and then doing his own intro with a good voiceover. Booker T has his regular intro animation and music, but the King Titantron is in.

Neither Pillman or Neidhart had gold.
-
Was he in that handicap match against DX that one night? If so, then once.
-
Seriously, when Finlay returned in January, who would've thought he would be in a PPV main event by the end of the year?
-
Not that I'm deathly afraid or anything, but paper cuts, or severe cuts in general really freak me out.

Michael Hayes named Head Writer of Smackdown
Aero replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Figure Four Weekly Not that I expect anyone to change their mind, but there it is. If you want further proof, I was at that taping, and yes, the crowd hated it. That was the night Cena was named as the final member of Team Angle for Survivor Series, and everyone was waiting for it, so the crowd was pissed when he apparently turned heel again. -
It's a nice touch, but this was in the last game as well.

IGN has a four page article on Season, GM Mode, and a few other features/changes. It's worth a read, but here's something surprising from it... there is no sign of the Bra & Panties/Fulfill Your Fantasy match. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/736/736705p1.html

They're pretty rare and should easily be this year's "hot toy" for Christmas, excluding the video game consoles. Working at a KB Toys, we advertised that we were taking pre-orders for these Elmos for close to two months ahead of time. A big sign in the entrance, and small ones near the registers and in the Sesame street aisle. We offered the preorders to people who were buying Sesame street toys... We did THREE preorders. Now every five seconds, the phone rings with someone asking if we have them. It's rediculous.
-
I've already had a pre-order at an FYE since June, but I'm going to try and do another at EB or Babbages.

The deluxe belts have actually leather straps that are much more flexible than the adult straps. If you just plan on hanging the belts on your wall, than you might as well just get the adult replica.

Am I watching TNA?

Actually it was the first Raw after the draft. They debuted the new set and theme on the first Raw of April 2002. Between the two sets, I'd rather see Smackdown get the new set first since I've never liked it to begin with.
-
Joey Mercury's up on IGN. There isn't an official MNM group entrance that's known about yet, but Mercury does have his tag belt hanging from his pants, along with fur coat.
-
I found this more detailed set, and it has a little more different results. These make much more sense, especially in regards to Rey-Terkay...
-
Awesome second half. I'm surprised we didn't get the usual heel interference from Knox or Test.
-
I wouldn't mind this, but what good teams are there to feud with on Raw? Pretty much just DX. If they reform, send them to Smackdown. Staying singles wrestlers, though, Shelton needs to turn face.

OAO "Holy shit, Kurt Angle is in TNA now" thread...
Aero replied to Downhome's topic in TNA Wrestling
Actually, it was "It's real... it's damn real." That said, does WWE own the trademark to Angle's "It's True" or something? -

So, is this the most traffic the TNA folder has ever had, or what? I'm still in shock, mostly about how well the secret was kept. That's rare today with the internet. -
When they showed the shadowy figure in the ring with the American flag, I was actually thinking it would be a swerve and not be Angle, but damn. Joe vs. Angle at BFG?
-
Under the circumstances, it would be Johnny Knoxville.

What a disappointment.
