Mark Henry's gimmick must be that he interrupts the big World Title matches on free TV. The first hour of the show was really good with the JBL/Regal stuff and the six-man tag. Angle/Rey was decent, but that Mark Henry nonsense always outweighs the good.

Could have been already posted, but...

Movies that everyone loves that you cannot get the love for

Here's one that I'd like explained. It's by no means the BEST MOVIE EVER, but I think it's a really good way to spend 2 hours. Depp has an awesome performance from top to bottom, and everyone else does a commendable job as well. Fine that it's your opinion, but I'm really curious. I can't think of anyone I personally know who doesn't like it. -
Kool-Aid Guy seeing what it's like from the other side of the wall... enough said.

Is London & Kendrick's team name officially the Hooligans? God I hope not.

- Taken from 411 Oh joy. They sure do love handicap main events on Raw, though.

In a lot of matches, there's the sequence where one wrestler (usually the heel) hits a big move, makes the cover, but only gets two. Immediately after, he covers again, this time either putting on more pressure or hooking a leg. Has anyone ever won a match this way?

What's going on with this card? With the older guys like Doink, Snuka, and Headshrinkers and all the no names, this is a horrible show, especially due to how good the roster was at this point.

I've only been to one autograph signing since there rarely are any around here. Nova & Danny Doring had one at a GameStop in the mall right after the Hardcore Revolution game came out in 2000. Signings were free. As you can imagine, not a long line at all, just about maybe 10 people just gathered around their table talking and asking questions. When I came in, it was too crowded, so I went over to the PSX that had the game on to play. Nova got up and decided to have a match. Me (Justin Credible) vs. him (Big Sal) in a regular match. We were both really confused on how to pick up weapons, and he ended up just trashing the game, saying how bad everything was.

Just to add, I didn't think HBK-Taker went too long at all. Everything between Summerslam and Badd Blood (only 2 months) was great, and then they stayed away from each other until January, where they only feuded a month tops. The only thing lacking was a proper blowoff.

Test/Steiner... April 2003-SEPTEMBER 2003, only for them to become a tag team at the end of it. Eddie/Rey... March 2005-September 2005. It started out fantastic. Everything from WM up to just past Judgment Day was really good. Once Rey's kid got involved and Eddie jobbed every week, it started going way downhill.

Angle-Taker from NWO, followed by probably Edge-Foley and Mysterio-Finlay. I'll have to rewatch the cage match between JBL & Benoit, because I didn't think it was nearly as amazing as WP is making it out to be.

What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?

I'd be first in line to buy the Steve Blackman set. -

Lost in Translation. I wouldn't say I hated it, but after hearing people rave about it, I was let down when I saw it. I thought there were a lot of funny parts in Napoleon Dynamite, but after watching it once, I still have no desire to ever watch the entire movie over again. -
I found it funny that when Teddy Long announced the KOTR to everyone in the back, he mentioned all the great former KOTR winners... Austin, HHH, Bret, Edge, but for some reason, he left out Angle, who was standing two feet away.

I think it's safe to say no. When he started walking out, I was really afraid they were going to let him win.

Overall, not the best WM, but certainly not the worst. I'd easily put it above XVI or X8. I thought HBK's promo right after the tag title match was actually pretty good. He said that he wouldn't be down on his knees, looking to the heavens praying, but Vince would be... so he then does his usual get down on his knees / look to the heavens firework pose during his entrance. At first I was unsure on whether or not I actually saw Hardcore Holly's portrait, but reading the thread proves he was up there. I think I saw Snitsky, too. But here's the question... in the pic of the entrance set a few posts up, is that second portrait from the left Rob Conway?

As much as I love Angle's current look, I wish he would bring back the red, white, and blue camo tights.

XVI, had Jericho/Benoit/Angle, a super-hot main event program and a three-way ladder match. There's no way XXII will be as good. The 3-way is overrated and way too short... 13 minutes for two falls? I wouldn't call the main event program super hot given all the McMahon hype. I always felt that that took away from it a little. But good storyline or not, the match wasn't that good. Don't forget that the rest of the card is filled with meaningless tag matches. I think WM 22 can blow it away.

IIRC, are there not already separate guardrails in those areas around the stage, IRL, anyway? There are some guardrails in the crowd, but not in that spot right on the floor. Realistically, it looks like the crowd had to jump over the guardrail to get to their seats. It's hardly crowd fighting, but rather just an expanded 'aisle' to fight... with apparently a balcony. Ladder matches were fun in HCTP & SVR1, but in 2006, they were unbearable. Anytime you climbed the ladder, the CPU would immediately climb the other side, resulting in a fight up top, where it would take an hour for one of you to fall back. There's other problems, but I can't remember exactly. HIAC matches need to be desperately reworked, as do Elimination Chambers.

I've been doing the usual WM marathon the last two weeks or so. I'm getting excited despite not having the greatest card. I figure it'll still be good, at least better than say XVI or X8. I'll be watching with friends, so it'll be fun regardless.

Angle vs. Mysterio vs. Orton I'll be thrilled if Angle wins, but he's got probably the least chance of winning of the three. If this goes mid-show, then Orton will probably win, but if it's last (like I think), then Mysterio takes it. Cena vs. HHH The whole build is HHH destroying Cena. Why else would WWE build Cena's first WM title defense so one-sided if he's not going to retain? HHH will probably get the belt at Backlash. Money in the Bank: RVD Flair & RVD are the only ones who have a chance. The ONS II scenario where RVD challenges HHH to the match seems too perfect to pass up though, even for WWE writers, so I'd pick him. Big Show & Kane vs. Carlito & Masters Carlito & Masters have been arguing too much to win. Why job the unstoppable team to the team that can't get along? If there's one team that should take the belts off of Kane & Show, it's the reunited WGTT, that is, if Haas ever makes it back on TV. No Holds Barred Shawn Michaels Vs. Vince McMahon HBK's been jobbed out too much to lose here. He'll probably get "fired" the next night so he can take time off. Hardcore Match Mick Foley Vs. Edge Foley never wins. Casket Match Undertaker Vs. Mark Henry Like Henry stands a chance. US Title Match Chris Benoit Vs. JBL It could go to either, but unless they're planning on elevating Benoit back into the World Title scene, I think they'll give him a lengthy US Title reign. Boogeyman Vs. Booker T & Sharmell Womans Title Match Trish Stratus Vs. Mickie James Pillow Fight Torrie Wilson Vs. Candice Michelle
