With all the new time travel stuff this season, I didn't even consider it in regards to Walt. That's a good point, and I can't imagine it not being the explanation. Speaking of characters who need to come back to the show, we need more Smoke Monster. I've been disappointed that we've gotten so few appearances over the last two seasons.

Maybe the Indian airline water was from the plane that the Oceanic 6, Ben, and Locke's corpse eventually crash into the island to get back... I look forward to finding out the real answer. In general, I want to see more Richard. For as little screen time as he usually gets, he's become one of my favorite characters.

Okay episode tonight. I just really find myself bored watching the Oceanic 6 off island for the most part. I'm sure it'll pick up, but I just hope they don't wait for the end of the season to start going back to the island. Hopefully since Ben apparently has less than 70 hours to get it done, it won't take much longer. Watching the time jumping survivors is always fun, though. The boat that they ended up stealing looked exactly like Alex & Karl's boat from season 3, so I'm guessing that was more Others shooting at them from behind. And yay! Jin lives!

Maybe not a theory, but I've seen it mentioned on a bunch of other sites, including here at least once, I think.

Well, the pop-up during the repeat of last week's episode just said that Desmond & Penny named that son after island Charlie, so hopefully that puts to rest the theories that Charlie Pace is their son.

I agree. Tonight was a fun, action-packed episode. It's always cool seeing Bill Buchanan in the field, and alongside Jack and Tony made it ten times cooler. And awwwwww, the terrorist is fitting in by dating the waitress at the local coffee shop. My real reaction, however, is, what the hell?

I realize a bunch of us like to joke about MIKE FUCKING KNOX and all, but you realize that it was only Mike Knox qualifying for a match that he's going to lose, right?

The new intro caught me completely off guard.

Well, I was hoping for a Cards win, even though I'm pretty indifferent to both teams. It sucks that they lost, but at least we got a great game out of it (with an INSANE 4th quarter), bad finish aside.

HOLY SHIT x10

Wow, that was scary. I thought Palamalu had it.

I agree in the sense that Lesnar did have such an awful exit (losing effort while being booed out of the building), but I'd completely disagree otherwise. From WM XIX until a month before WM XX, he was involved in every main event program on Smackdown. And even when he was taken out of the World Title picture, it was so he could be inserted into a huge interpromotional feud with one of Raw's biggest stars, Goldberg. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but that was one of the best examples of a "dream match" that WWE could have done at the time. Plus, some people have to get the idea out of their head that a match that occurs in the middle of the show is a "midcard match", if that makes sense. WM XX was the biggest show ever, at that time, loaded with several huge matches (two World Title matches, The Rock's return, Taker's return). Jericho vs. Christian or Cena vs. Big Show were midcard feuds. Brock vs. Goldberg was one the main events, with Steve Austin refereeing. When you have a show with a huge lineup, it usually works best to spread out several of the main events. It's just unfortunate that both Lesnar and Goldberg decided to leave the company right before the show, and even that wasn't made official until a week or two prior to the show.

I haven't seen any bad reviews, but a bunch have been pretty average. Ebert gave it **1/2 for what it's worth. I saw it yesterday and liked it a lot. It had a kind of slow beginning, but once the kidnapping happens, it's pretty much nonstop fun. The movie was a little shorter than I was expecting, but I'd still recommend it.

I know there was one PPV where it actually happened, but I can't remember for the life of me. I want to say it was toward the early part of his WWE run, but I might be wrong. It did look really weird, though.

The guy that didn't get to play looks so disappointed. But hey, at least they got the rap keyboard!

I liked Are You Afraid of the Dark, with a few episodes legitimately freaking me out back then (usually the ones about clowns, of course), but there were some really awful episodes... the one about the locker that sends you back to the 60's so you can save the hippie girl from the chemistry lab exploding immediately comes to mind.

Here's the teaser... http://www.sortie-cine.fr/bande-annonce/ba...l-du-cobra.html I think I need to see more footage to make a real judgment about it, but I'll probably be seeing it no matter what. -
I like to think he's hanging out with Christian in Jacob's cabin in his time away from the survivors. Am I right in saying his last appearance was in one of the first episodes last season when Locke attached Charlotte's communicator to him to trick Jack and everyone? That's all I can remember.

I remember seeing that intro when the show ended up in syndication on the WB very early in the morning a long time ago and being very confused. If this is the story where Apocalypse is time traveling and teaming with all the major villains like Magneto, Sinister, etc., then yes, this was awesome. I agree that generally any episode involving Apocalypse was awesome. I really liked the season one finale that involved the Sentinels kidnapping Senator Kelly, and the X-Men going into the compound to rescue him. Magneto also showed up to save Professor X, too. Good stuff.

It's the last TV wrestling appearance for Sid, actually, as he made that random cameo alongside HBK, Austin, Patriot, and Shamrock on that Raw in San Antonio about a month later. When Ahmed confronts Taker after the match with Faarooq, what is he yelling? I know it's usually hard to understand him, but is this what everyone else thought he was yelling: (pointing to his head) "Use this! USE THIS! Discover! DISCOVER!" followed by the "I'm talking to you" and Pearl River Plunge.

If the Jughead bomb is revealed to be buried under the Swan hatch, which I don't see how it wouldn't at this point, I'm just glad that we're getting some explanation behind pushing the button and the magnetic energy or whatever. I was worried that they were going to completely ignore the details about the Swan at this point. Now if we can just find out who's been behind the food drops...

I'm pretty sure everyone thinks this. I know I did, too. Apparently he just has very thick eyelashes. I read an interview somewhere recently with Cuse & Lindelof where they mentioned that shortly after hiring the actor to play Richard, they told him something along the lines of, "The eyeliner isn't going to work" but were surprised to find out it wasn't eyeliner.

Maybe it was just me, but I really liked this episode. Much more enjoyable than last week's set. We learned at least two interesting items: Widmore's link to the island, and that Richard is, in fact, actually very, very old and not just time traveling. Next week's preview:

I always thought it was a jab at Lesnar's F-5.

How was this ignored in the Raw thead? You sound like you are 12 yrs old
