He's really contributed to the US Title division, for sure! That ONE title defense was a TV classic! Even Cena's more of a SD MVP.

Unless they wanted a really DEAD crowd for HHH-Jericho, they had to put something in between. I figure the 3-Way match will go on last, with Benoit winning the title to send the crowd home happy. I think the Rumble winner should always be in the main event.

So what WWF and WCW PPVs weren't released to the
Aero replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
I've never seen it, but I remember one of the WWF Magazines from 1997 having an order form for it in it somewhere. A Cold Day in Hell was also available a few months later this way, too. -
I took that off RajahWWF, so it looks like Taker will probably stay on Smackdown, so guys like Batista & Goldberg are out. But hey, when in doubt, start another Undertaker-Brock feud!

Brock vs. Eddie Eddie's winning, no doubt. Just look at the WM setup. Angle vs. Big Show vs. Cena Angle's winning, no doubt, to set up Angle-Eddie at WM. Rey vs. Chavo This is a toss-up, for me. I pick Rey only because it's his song that's the PPV theme and he's got that boxer in his corner. Of course, they could go with the ULTIMATE SWERVE and have the boxer turn on Rey. Probably not, though. Too Cool vs. Bashams Wow, a HANDICAP match makes it so much more interesting! Not really, so I figure Too Cool retains when Rikishi pins Shaniqua. Noble vs. Nidia You have to figure Noble wins here, but I think WWE will do something stupid and give Nidia a countout win or something. Maybe like Noble chases Nidia outside and gets counted out because he can't see Nidia back in the ring. APA vs. TGWTT Another toss-up, but I think TWGTT win and go on to challenge Too Cool for the tag belts at or leading to WM. If Holly vs. Rhyno is on the show, then I'll pick Holly only because I don't think WWE wants to totally waste his big push.

Makes you wonder what the actual wrestlers who aren't on the card (probably Lance Storm, Val Venis, Hurricane, WGTT, etc.) will think.

After last night, I was thinking they would do something like Foley, RVD, & Booker T vs. Evolution at WM in a hardcore match or something.

Zelda: Link to the Past... it's my favorite of all time.

When I voted on Friday, Haas & Benjamin were up with 83%.

I could be wrong, but I think the longest WWF/WWE match ever is the 2002 Royal Rumble match which went 1 hour and nine minutes or something.
-
2001 all the way. Austin vs. HHH, Rock vs. Angle, and the 4-Way match are ****+ matches, IMO. I just watched Austin vs. HHH the other day and it still holds up for me. Plus, you can't go wrong when you get to see a beer can thrown at Austin's head (complete with what looks like security escorting the idiot out) , followed by footage of HHH blading directly on camera.

Classic.

You're not the only one, my friend.

I'd take either Benoit vs. HHH or HBK. I don't like the idea of the ladder match, at all. I'd probably shoot for Benoit vs. HBK more, definitely because of a likely better match, but it's hard to pass up Benoit likely beating HHH for the title.

I work at KB, but my store isn't closing down anytime soon. We get all these people coming in just to ask when we're shutting down.

I thought that we popped pretty loud for Angle eliminating Goldberg. When the table match ended after only D-Von went through, everyone around me was pissed and there was some boos.

The OAO Royal Rumble Results/Match Ratings Thread
Aero replied to Steviekick's topic in The WWE Folder
Table Match: 1/2* Mysterio vs. Noble: *1/2 Eddie vs. Chavo: ** Brock vs. Holly: 1/2* HHH vs. HBK: ***3/4 Rumble Match: ***** I guess being there live really helps you like some matches alot better than others. I'll definitely be getting a second viewing of the show tommorrow, because I had a friend tape it for me, but as of right now, I have a new favorite Rumble match. There was such heat and booing because of the draw in HHH vs. HBK. I was really disappointed with the undercard up to HHH-HBK, but the Rumble match made it worth while. I'm pretty sure I got my "Where's Steve Blackman?" sign up a few times during the Spanish announce table bump in HHH-HBK and the Orton-Foley brawl. -
Is it that time again in the WWE folder to ask where Zach Gowen is? It seems to be a monthly thing.
-
Benoit, Angle, Jericho, & Orton I figure they'll have Orton last in the Rumble a really long time, from maybe #4 or something, a la Rock in 1998. Jericho and Orton go out first. Then Angle and Benoit trade suplexes and go through their usual routine until Benoit wins.

I believe Lark Voorhees was actually Carlton's girl, when she claimed that he was the father of her baby.

By... Jeff? Seriously though... All 30 haven't been announced, this could be a good a time as any to bring in Jeff.. and he's good for a laugh Yeah they have. Rhyno's the last guy for Smackdown. Anyway, I would guess Rico for the quick elimination.

Rumble Match The past few years have been really good, especially 2001 and 2003. I'm thinking they can pull out another good one this year, especially with Benoit in there for likely the entire match. It can go up to a max of **** or more. HHH vs. HBK Their Raw match was really good, in **** range, so I think this one can go even higher. Brock vs. Holly Give this no more than 10 minutes and we're set for what could be a **1/2 to *** match. But then again, Brock isn't exactly one to carry Bob Holly to a good match, so it could either be decent or really bad. I just hope we don't see a DQ win for Holly to further the feud to No Way Out. Eddie vs. Chavo Smackdown has been giving this alot of TV time, so I would expect this to get 15-20 minutes. I've never seen the WCW matches, but if given enough time, I think these two can put on a really good match. Should be between *** and **** Flair & Batista vs. Dudleys I really don't mind this match except for Batista. Table matches aren't that great, but I'll probably enjoy it alot more when I'm there live. Let Flair do most of the work and it could be good. Between ** and *** Rey vs. Noble Like the Guerreros, if given enough time, which it probably won't, this could be really good. I haven't seen any Rey vs. Noble matches on SD that have really impressed me, though, so I wouldn't expect this to past ***1/2

And indeed, Rhyno was just added to the Rumble match over at WWE.com.

Maybe the final TBD spot on the WWE.com site will be Rhyno, but then again, why not just put it up like everyone else? Maybe it's the return of the Undertaker? Any other possible mystery opponents?
