Let we not forget that some asshole coach seemed to have voted Michigan 4th in the final poll. I think his name rhymed with Phillip Fulmer
-
please don't mention 97 Nebraska. There is no reason why they should have shared the national title that year
-
what do you base your rankings off because I still think Virgina, Utah, and Louisville are ranked too high
-
This year FSU could easily win the ACC if Miami loses, or even get an at large bid. Hell if they run the table the rest of the season and everyone else loses they could get an Orange Bowl Bid

I wouldnt consider Florida State on the downturn. They were in back to back title games only 4 years ago, and they also have been in A BCS bowl almost every year for the last 7 years. Nebraska was stupid to fire Solich. He had a better winning percentage than did Tom Osborne at the same point in his career. He got them albeit controversially to a national title game, which they were just totally dominated by in my opinion one of the top 3 teams of the last 25 years. All the other powerhouses that have fallen off have been due to either NCAA sanctions or admissions issues. SMU would still be decent to this day if they hadnt got the death penalty considering the pipeline of athletic talent that is the state of Texas.

Is it me or like half of the teams in the top 15 just totally overrated

Pistons should be amazing again if they can find someone to back up chauncey billups at the point with Mike James going to free agency.. Delfino will be a stud on defense at least, and McDyess if he is anywhere near his prime level output could be the biggest free agent steal of theyear.

Well, Michigan fans are never that stupid about when they actually are about to start playing because once they run out under the GO BLUE banner you know its about to get crackin'

so wait, this lady is basically saying black people arent tech savvy. That has to be the most absurd thing ever. I seriously think that we need to fire all of our civil rights "leaders" because they never get anything accomplished. Age moreso than race could determine how good someone is with tecnnology. My grandparents couldnt even get past the start menu, and my parents for the most part have jobs that require computer skills. Let's not even get started on my siblings, my brother makes wrestling videos for fun and my sister lives on the computer. My little three year old cousin already plays Zelda and when hes tall enough to sit at the computer he will be using it. Most black people i know from the ages of 18-40 have at least the most basic knowledge of how to use a computer. I don't know if its just us civilized northern black folk or what but seriously what the fuck is this lady smoking.

The argument about the veins is absurd. I work out about once every took weeks and I weigh maybe 165 and veins come out of my arms like that after a good workout

Both of those games were on a neutral field, meaning no one really had a home field advantage like a team would playing at their home stadium. I didnt say anything about Jason White not being worthy of the Heisman, he had a great season last yr and I have no problems with him winning the title. But I was just saying I dont see Oklahoma playing top notch OOC teams on the road each year which is something a program like Michigan does every year almost to a fault. Of course LSU was a better team last year, they played a tougher schedule in a tougher conference, and OU was exposed by KSU as not being the " OMG, best team ever" that people were saying they were going into that game. Hell, they werent even the best team of the last 10 years

Well outside of the native americans, Africian Americans have been treated unfairly and poorly for I don't know..... the entire existence of this nation, and to this day they are still being discriminated against to this day on the basis of skin color, and since the end of slavery, they have still been trying to play catch-up in terms of gaining equality while they have watched other groups of people come to this country and be treated with much more respect without having contributed 1/8th of the things that African-Americans have to this nation.
-
well its hard to get behind a team that has owners who constantly trade away any talented players you have for three bats and two large sized jockstraps
-
my grandfathers were from Arkansas and Mississippi respectively, and my grandmothers were from Michigan( but moved from Alabama as an infant) and Ohio. I'm mostly black but on my dad's side his father's grandfather was white, and my mom's side has a whole bunch of racially mixed people along the lines.

Michigan would kill Troy and handle Stanford pretty easily
-
I want to see Oklahoma on the road vs any big-time powerhouse non conference opponent meaning I want to see them play Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, USC, or the like. Because looking back, I can't remember the last time Oklahoma won a big game on the road out of conference.

Jeff George is sitting at home and he's still better than all but about 12 of the quarterbacks in the NFL right now. Chicago would be smart to sign him just for an extra body at qb
-
Arizona State ?? Why the hell are they rated ahead of Purdue
-
wait. Kevin Willis was drafted before I was born. I don't even think they had a three point line when he came into the league and he is still playing. Well to his credit for a 89 year old he still keeps himself in AMAZING shape and could at least serve as a mentor to some young big men on the Hawks

Kerry talks about the possibility of a draft

im 19 and I know there will be no Social Security by the time I'm 55 which is 2040. Hell my parents are in their early 40s and they might be in jeapordy -
these rankings dont make sense. Its just like he took teams and randomly shuffled the ones with losses around. Alabama isn't that good. Who has Virgina played to be ahead of Fresno State. Why is Fresno below Boise when they have beaten two teams on the road at stadiums where it is very hard to win.

another reason why ESPN sucks

Well since I was basically done with high school after my junior yr, I went to McDonalds for breakfast during class or I would just not go to class and then mark myself present for the last three hours of the day since i worked in the office. I actually ended up getting a 4.125 that semester which was the highest I ever had in high school.
-
well the loss can't be blamed on Rix because FSU at the end was down to like third stringers at guard and playing tackles at guard towards the end, and I don't care you if you have Brett Farve back there with no line, its hard for any quarterback to make plays when he has no time to throw at all
-
no its an example of the fact that american players just don't know how to move without the ball, come off screens, shoot the mid range jumper, create for their teammates or hit a 3 point shot that is THREE FEET shorter than the NBA three. The players of today are just not as good fundamentally as the players of twenty years ago
