If Bush wheels out Bin Laden in mid-October, then all of those wacky Sept. 11th conspiracy theorists will have a fucking field day

And you think Portis could care less about if he ever gets hurt. He is set for life if he has half a brain, and he was not exactly extremely rich for NFL standards on his first contract

Ah yes...The FIRST AND ONLY time Test outshined Mick Foley, Rock, HHH, Kurt Angle all at once....by cutting a amazing promo with insane heat. He proceeded to get squashed by Triple shortly after that. That would have been the time to give Test a huge and I mean huge heel push to make up for his promising face push getting ruined by a certain large nosed person. I will say this about Test, the guy doesnt totally blow ass in the ring, he entertains me, and the guy could have been over huge if his pushes were not ruined.

I can't wait for Clarke to swing this blockbuster deal. Joni Pitakenen and 1st round picks in 2008-10 to Detroit for the rights to Dominik Hasek and Nathan Robinson.

In quite possibly the most fucked up ruling ever, The MHSAA ( Michigan High School Athletic Association) has ruled that Chris Webber was ineligible throughout his high school career and has urged his alma mater, Detroit Country Day High School, to forfeit the three state championships they won with Webber. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1748049 Now this shit is just getting ridiculous. Webber is now being punished for things he did at 15 years old. Why would the state even investigate something that happened so long ago, and why would they care. The whole Ed Martin booster thing pisses me off, because it's Chris Webber getting the blame for everything that happened, when it is known in this area that Ed Martin has been helping kids out for years. Hell, he used to frequent the River Rouge High School games back in the 1970's when my dad played and Detroit Southwestern was the basketball school in the area for about 20 years. So I am sure there are dozens of other kids that he paid off that haven't lost their high school eligibility.

Heh. Yeah, I took it (In HS at least) back in 1991, long before the era of using calculators and having essay questions. It strikes me as a lot easier now. I wonder, though... with all the talk that standardized tests are unfair to minorities, has the test become easier just on those PC grounds? I never took the SAT, I got a 33 on my ACT. On the subject of unfair standardized tests, the thing is its not like the test makers are intentionally saying, " let's use the word sofa, instead of couch, that will really confuse those little negro children", it's just that some of the wording used in the questions can be somewhat "foreign" to minority and urban students. If a kid has no idea what the hell the words in the question mean just from a social standpoint, not an intellectual one, the kid might do worse. I mean its not really the main reason why urban students do worse. It's more that the school system in many major cities, like Detroit for example, sucks major league ass and the students there don't recieve a quality education because of corruption, lack of funding, and poor teaching. There have been instances in the news where students have been nearly in tears because they want to learn and study, but they can't even do assignments because there are not enough books for every student. Luckily, I never had to worry about that as I went to one of if not the most efficient schools in the state of Michigan.

Teen tries to kill girl, to have sex w/her corpse
lomasmoney replied to MrRant's topic in Current Events
After all, he's just a boy. no, I think that this is different from the Tate situation which I think is what some are refering to. This guy was 17 years old. At 17, you are for all intents and purposes as close to adulthood as you can get. This guy decided that he was gonna try and kill this women with his car, and then have sex with her corpse. He deserves what he is going to get, and I'm sure some will agree with me that their is a difference as far as maturity between this guy and Tate. So throw the book at him, because I know at 17, you are old enough to be held fully responsible for whatever you do. But at 14, I think a kid deserves some slack because coaching 13 and 14 year olds in summer track, I noticed that some of these kids thought and behaved like children. I say 16 and older you can be tried as an adult. -
The impact from the heel landing on the mat with both feet is supposed to break the faces' ribs or something but by the face elevating the foot he lessens the impact, Who am I kidding I have no fucking clue what that move is supposed to do

could you imagine if vick played hockey holy shit. With his athletic ability and speed that would be hell in the open ice
-
yeah i had that game until i decided to sell my dreamcast so i could buy a gamecube, which is the only system i have right now since my ps2 doesnt play any type of disc anymore. I loved the gameplay and I just wish that my ps2 still worked so i could buy espn nhl and try that out since I have NHL 2004, which is still a bit unrealistic for my tastes. I got it for free so I won't complain that I have a hockey game, but right now its just collecting dust.

Bushido Blade--PS1. That game rocks.

Well I guess if you count trying to build up the HEEL as a fucking pussy who has to sneak attack his opponent to gain an advantage and then running away when its face to face, one on one blowing the main event angle, then you don't know shit about wrestling. Well, then again this is coming from the person that considers a team going to the World Series a bad season

I'll laugh when the Cubs sweep the Yankees in 4 because they have way better pitching which is what wins titles

The coach in question, the one before Neuheisal and Barnett was Bill McCartney, he just happens to be from my hometown, and I had his nephew as a sub in middle school and my brother has met him before at football camps and stuff since our town has a legacy for churning out D-1 coaches and shit

I mean yeah, Boston and Chicago have won titles in other sports, even though I think that Chicago is more cursed with the Hawks on a 43 year Cup drought. Its just something about baseball and having your team win it all that makes the World Series so magical. Its something that I have only seen once in my life and that was in 1990. I was kicking around in my mom when the Tigers won in 1984, so for now the Reds shocking the world and beating the Big Bad Bash Brothers is the highlight of my baseball life

Dickie V is a fucking iconic figure in Detroit having coached both the Pistions and the University of Detroit. He also deserves to be in because he is one of the people that you can always identify with the college game. He may ride Duke's jock too hard but the guy seems to truly love the college game

KVH actually has worn 44 most of his career, Tim Thomas never wore 6, he has always worn 5 I think and Sheed is just insane
-

Never bring that year up again. Yeah, because the Yankees got their asses handed to them that year. Yankees fans have seen 9 straight playoff berths, 4 world series titles, 6 pennants, and 16 playoff series victories in the last nine seasons . Shit, my two favorite teams, the Reds and Tigers, two teams with a lot of history, only have 4 World Series titles and 11 playoff berths in the last 35 years. So to me if your team makes the postseason, not even the World Series, its a suceessful season. I mean if either the Tigers or the Reds break .500 I would call it a good year. But, Yankees fans have been so spoiled to the point where they consider every year that doesn't end in a world title a failure and try and point the blame at individual players when the team doesn't win it all ( cough... Jeff Weaver). I just can't wait for the Yankees to suck again, which might not happen for another 15 years with the way baseball's economic structure is.

... That's one of the deepest things I've heard in a while I totally agree on that one. I'm definitely an equal opprotunity women fucker

People who bitch about affirmative action don't get the big picture. Ok from roughly 1700-1865 ( possibly longer), Black people were enslaved by whites. Just a little something wrong with that picture, don't you think, one group of people enslaving another. They also literally stole this country from the Native Americans. Blacks still didn't even have equal rights until 1964, and even now I would say that blacks are looked upon as being inferior to whites, which is not true, but seriously thats how a lot of white people think. So for over two hundred years we were treated like fucking animals, called apes, our women and children raped and murdered while white people sat back and called us names like "niggers" and "monkeys". Blacks were treated like total shit, much worse than any of the other immigrants who came over from Europe at the turn of the century. We didn't have it as bad as the Native Americans because while we had it bad, nearly their entire "race" was wiped out and what did they get for it, fucking casinos and free school. Well, that's the least that could be done for the poor people had their enitre way of life totally destroyed. I would say that affirmative action is the least that could be done, its absolutely fucking payback for the qualified black people in the past who were discriminated for their fucking skin color ( something that they can't control) and could not go to the best universities. People are just way too fucking close minded and need to realize that scientifically "race" doesn't exist. All human life started in Africa. The branching off into various "races" if you will, happened only about 90,000 years ago which is basically about 15 minutes as far as evolution is concerned. This is simply not enough time for significant genetic differences to occur. So while in a perfect world, people would all be considered equal, but we don't live in a perfect world. The worst part about this is that you have white people bitching and moaning about affirmative action, when lets face it most white people don't get follwed around in stores just because they fit a stereotype, and most white people have never been discriminated against in their lives to the extent of other minorities. So I think that affirmative action is a good way to show whites that shit needs to change and that we all need to start considering each other equal so that things like affirmative action arent needed.

shut the fuck up
