I'm so happy the Tigers won this game. It puts Detroit in a great spot, and I got bragging rights for a night over all the fucks from New York that have been talking shit all week in Ann Arbor

Uh, yeah, Kenny Rogers is definately a better pitcher than Nate Robertson. Two random playoff games have nothing to do with the fact that the guy is an automatic 15 wins a year, compared to Robertson who can get shelled one game or throw a two hitter the next

This is fucking hilarious...this guy is going nuts, he sounds like a Bret Hart fan on the radio after the Screwjob. I'm not gonna sit here.......and talk about kids.....who choked

People forget that Saban was building State into a real program before he left. He brought in so much talent, and it was just finally starting to gel. I believe they went like 10-2 in his last season and beat Florida in the bowl game. He also brought in Jeff Smoker and Charles Rogers, and in Rogers's junior season, quite a few people were picking MSU to win the Big 10 with Bobby Williams as their coach. Its pathetic that MSU hasn't won a conference title in 16 or 17 years. Wisconsin has three, Purdue has one or two, Michigan has like 8, OSU has a ton. I think that Indiana, Minnesota, and MSU are the only teams that have not won the Big 10 since 1990, and well one of those schools is a basketball powerhouse, one school doesn't have their own stadium, and the other is a perinnial choke artist. MSU is great in other sports like hockey and basketball, but in football, they just blow it every single time and even though I'm a lifelong Michigan fan, I always want to see the little brother program do well. Until they get rid of Smith they will struggle to shed the "loser" moniker

I disagree, Illinois has been awful for about 5 years now. The last time they were good was when they game out of nowhere with Kurt Kittner and Brandon Lloyd to win the Big 10 and ended up in the Sugar Bowl in like 2001 or 2002. Since then, they've been so bad that the times they have played Michigan or Michigan State turn into drinking contests with a football game as the background entertainment. Zook is getting better players there, but this program has fallen on hard times. Another reason why CFN sucks balls is that they have Missouri as the #18 team in the land and have Michigan State still ranked after one of the biggest chokejobs in school history, which says alot about a team that has been known for its chokejobs. State could rebound and end up a top 25 team, but Missouri is not the 18th best team in the country now, they won't be next week, and even if they win the Big 12 North, they still will be like 7-5 when they do it.

I wouldn't put any stock in CFN's polls. They had USC at number 1, considering they've beaten an average Arkansas team, and an average Nebraska team that had a pet monkey coaching them. How anyone could look at who they have played, and then look at Ohio State's duct taping of the opposition this year and consider USC the better team is just insane. USC has more talent, but Ohio State is just a terrifying team on both sides of the ball. LSU with a loss is ahead of Michigan, Florida, Louisville, and West Virgina. Now let me get this straight, everyone one of those teams but Florida has been very impressive this season, but LSU was more impressive with an inept offensive performance against Auburn (overrated) than Michigan was when they killed Notre Dame, or Louisivlle beating everyone in sight without their two best players. CFN has no clue what they are talking about with these rankings

Wow, I still can't believe that the Spartans fell apart like that. I feel so bad for the MSU fans, because they have a joke of a head coach in John L. Smith He took the ball out of Stanton's hands, and tried to sit on a lead against a team that can put up points with anyone. With a defense that bad, you have to go for the throat, not call obvious screen passes on third and 3

Haha, Notre Dame is getting blasted again for the second straight week by a Michigan school. Drew Stanton is looking more like a top 10 pick than Brady Quinn is. I really really want to see ND hit the shitter, and I'm hoping that State can roll into Ann Arbor unbeaten.

Seroiusly, The Clipse have been delayed for so long, that people are like who are these new dudes out with the Star Trak crew, and I just shake my head and remind people that 4 years ago, these guys dropped a hot album that went platinum

If anyone thinks John David Booty is a Heisman candidate, log off and go home, this kid hasn't won a legit football game since I was a Senior in high school. He isn't even going to be a finalist in the race for the Heisman. Peterson, Hart, Quinn, Stanton, Slaton, White, Wolfe, and Troy Smith, all are and will continue to be better candidates, than will be John David Booty
-
He does play to his potential. His bad games are the ones where no one on State is doing anything and he has to become a one man show and he starts to force some shit. I think he is one of the three best pro style qb's in the nation. I hope Sparty takes an undefeated record into the Michigan game, just because no matter what our record is, State has found a way to lose to us three straight seasons.
-
I just want to point out how right I've been about how good Michigan could be this year. Notre Dame finally got brought back down to earth as being an 9-3 team, and I expect them to lose next week at MSU as well

this thread is some hot poop

Well in my dynasty , I have big safeties so i run a 3-3-5, with both safeties as dogs and I control either one, both are impact players, and I am great against the run, and the intermediate pass. The long ball is my weakness. I am the drizzling shits when I play any of my buddies in a bowl game in our dynasty.
-
It's not that. Its the fact that late in a game teams can run off a minute on a drive just due to the new clock rules alone. Clock starts on first down, team has to burn timeout they would have usually used after first down play. Now instead of having two timeouts with two downs left before a punt they have just one now, and that can be directly attributed to the idiotic new rules which I feel are pointless, since I have never heard anyone go, " Well, gee that extra three minutes that Ohio State-Texas game went just ruined my whole day after that." Its the same NCAA and school adminstrator bullshit like this which prevents things like a true national champion, a playoff system, and night games at Michigan Stadium

What is so special about G-mail. Between my yahoo account and my school account, I have more emails than I need as it is.

Why the hell is it so hard to meet people...
lomasmoney replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Chat
Well, it didn't stop me from having over a 3.0 at one of the best schools in the country. Its just something I do in my spare time, which I have tons of considering I'm going into my last year needing 21 credits to graduate and have finished my major's requirements already -

It was actually pretty easy to go out and meet people. I enjoy drinking and getting high, and I gravitated towards people who share simliar interests. I would say I've met most of my good college friends through other people I knew from dorms or whatever -
HUH..... What exactly leads you to believe that Michigan is any worse than teams like say Notre Dame or Auburn. Notre Dame got Dwayne Wade type officiating from the refs to beat Georgia Tech, while Michigan dominated Vanderbilt much more than the score indicated. Sure they were shaky in the passing game which would explain their lack of scoring, but they were one play away from shutting out Vandy. They have more talent than Notre Dame, and this season's team finally has the agression to match their talent. If Notre Dame comes out and plays like they did against Michigan they will get beat by two touchdowns at least, that is provided they get by Penn State on Saturday. I personally think that Michigan when it is all said and done will be a one loss team and ranked in the top 5.

Richard Dumas... holy shit, that guy was just an athletic freak, just could never keep his nose clean, literally

How in the flying fuck did a team featuring Chris Webber, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Chris Gatling, Latrell Sprewell, and whoever was on that team not win an NBA title. That might be one of those things that sounds normal when you think about it but then you realize these guys had what like 5 future All-Stars on the team and didnt do shit
-
I did a mediocre major for campus legend and my guy has been destroying people in his junior year. I just hate that i got him so fucking fast that he went from being the college version of me ( fast accurate, can't throw the NCAA level deep ball, to being michael vick with brady's awareness and manning's arm that shit doesn't happen.)
-
Papelbon ain't the ROY and that's all I got to say about that
-
Does anyone else find it really easy to run designed quarterback runs out of the shotgun formation. In my campus legend, my qb has like 87 speed and he carved up defending national champions Ohio State for something like 187 yards running on 22 carries. Almost all of the yards came off of QB draws, wraps and keepers. I never was able to pull off non option runs with the QB on 2006 in Singleback Shotgun formations.

More like arenafootball2 arrest.... but I kinda feel bad for the guy, I mean he had the chance to be a millionaire by the age of 22, and he threw it all alway being immature and boneheaded. Actually, when looking at the tens of thousands of dollars I have in student loans to pay back starting next year, I really don't feel bad for someone my age who threw away a chance to make easy money and take care of his family for years to come. Seriously, Lebron James didn't have a father around really, and I don't see why that should be an excuse for Clarrett like some of the OSU fans have been throwing out. Although it was pretty cool when he ratted out OSU and we learned that Troy Smith makes more than Charlie Frye
