"Voice Of God Is Just Cheney On The Intercom" was a good one. COmmon problem with the Onion is that of full articles, news-in-briefs, and freestanding headlines, they run with the wrong ones. The ones where just the premise itself would be funny get stretched into full-blown articles and stop being funny, and ones where there should be more aren't expanded on.
