Sorry dude, but Dennis Miller was the worst fucking thing that ever happened to sports broadcasting. At least Kornheiser knows about the sport and won't be making random awful off-topic jokes throughout the whole game like Miller did. He won't be AS out there as Miller, but he is kind of in that same vein. He's not a sports junkie, he's a bright guy who makes a lot of esoteric references most people won't get, and by the way, he kind of follows sports.

Yes, I did hear that James Brown is moving. Greg Gumbel will probably move to PBP. Bradshaw can't host though, because players themselves don't host panels well. You have to have the professional broadcaster keeping those goofy players in line, like Chris Berman with Jackson/Irvin/Young, or Ernie Johnson with Barkley and Kenny Smith.

The Midwest is of great debate. You can break it up into two halves: the Great Plains and the Great Lakes/Rust Belt. West of the Mississippi is flat with agriculturally-based economies, east is more varied terrain with industrial economies in the cities. Colorado and Wyoming are considered Mountain West, with Idaho, Utah, Montana, and eastern Washington State. This is from Joel Garreau's The Nine Nations of North America.
