Kornheiser is just gonna go over the heads of idiot fans, like Dennis Miller. If he doesn't, he won't be any good.

Isn't Houston the reigning champion of the "Fattest City in the US" contest? If so, makes sense. How on earth did they pass Milwaukee? That's a fat fuck city if ever there was one. One's Summerfest experience can be significantly marred by scantily-clad women who should be the last ones on earth dressing that way. I'm not just being a male pig here. I'm talking about considerably obese girls waddling along the lakefront in shorts and bikini tops stuffing their faces with corn dogs and beer and trying to burn it off by drunkenly dancing to some shitty side-stage pub-rock band. It's a real eyesore.

This guy's been registered at the board since day one and he's bitching about threads getting derailed by Rudo and Curry?!?

You make "the concept of a secular world" sound like a minor setback. -
The only question we can ask when something this bad happens to the NHL: "how is Gary Bettman involved"

"Money" by Pink Floyd is in 7/4, or rather 21/8. When it seems to speed up for Gilmour's solo, that's just going into 4. The beats per minute never change. It's an illusssssiooon. "Go to sleep." by Radiohead is a cool one, it's one bar of 4/4 and two bars of 6/8. "Watermelon in Easter Hay" by Zappa is alternating bars of 4/4 and 5/4. That's all I feel like rattling off.

I really like Dave Brubeck, but his stuff just feels like really cool songs that, if you sit down and dissect it, happen to be in uncommon meters, whereas mathcore is just like "WE PICKED RANDOM NUMBERS FOR OUR TIME SIGNATURES SO WE'RE IN 17/5!!! NOW WE SWITCHED TO 21/8!!!! NOW WE'RE IN -14/B!" Also the fact that it's related to hardcore makes it a lot of garbage for me.

Kraftwerk 2. It's an early album that Ralf and Florian don't like, so it hasn't been officially reissued. Apparently, the guys from Neu! were secondary band members at the time, and you can tell. It doesn't sound like the typical vocoder/sequencer stuff. There's a lot of John Cage-y percussiveness to it. I like it.

Sounds like Dave Brubeck, but shitty!

, They're fuckin' awesome. EDIT: Upon further examination, you have more problems than a comma deficit. Would of? Than/then? Are you a third-grader? I'm going to end up employed by people in this vein, and it upsets me greatly.

It's pretty good. I still don't like the guitar work as much, but it doesn't feel as pop-punk as YATQ. I really like the vocals, they feel kind of smooth, I guess.

If there was nobody to talk about the New York Knicks, there wouldn't be any NBA discussion on the board

Yer kidding right? Conservative talk radio and television is the beacon of "why do you hate america, sir" reasoning. That is their main pratfall to fall back on on basically a daily basis. It is that tactic, and that tactice almost exclusively that is used to avoid debating the merits of an issue. And it used by the right. That's not really what pratfall means, but okay. Haven't you listened to Air America at all? It's just as bad, but with shitty production values and poor attempts at comedy. Inept liberals utilize all the same fallacies that inept conservatives do, and don't kid yourself. Your side isn't any more enlightened or noble than mine. For every time Sean Hannity resorts to "why do you hate America" when he's backed into a corner, Michael Moore is dismissing claims that his documentaries regularly corrupt the facts with "well it's a movie, it's for entertainment." For every time Bill O'Reilly cuts off somebody's mic, Al Franken is swinging away with ad hominem remarks. Yeah, scholars on public radio may be above the bullshit, but the talking heads on the left and right are equally predisposed to all the same flaws. Translation: OMG YOUR SIDE DOES IT TOO~!!!!111 If you want to resurrect one of the countless Michael Moore threads, be my guest. Just because Moore's a douchebag, or Al Franken's a hypocrite, doesn't make Hannity any less of a jackass. Can anyone seriously defend Hannity? I'm curious. No. Nobody can defend Sean Hannity. And I wasn't trying to. I was going after his statement that the right exclusively sidesteps rational debate, which is not true.

Awesome.
