I'd say that's pretty good! Two more than I can name!

This should get the point across. I could've done a fancy mashup, but I just hastily spliced Metal Guru and Panic. smiths___t._rex___metal_panic.mp3 -
I might attempt facial hair for the first time, but this is highly tentative, and very risky.

WHO FUCKING CARES, YOU GIANT DOUCHE. IT'S PAC-MAN ON A MESSAGE BOARD. Seriously, admin was like "every other forum had an arcade feature but us, until now!" and I must've really missed the boat on that one because I've never heard of this phenomenon. It's like Invision is trying to monopolize the whole "time-wasting Internet endeavors" thing. You know, as if forums weren't already the crack of the Web, we also need the option to play Space Invaders in between "john cena sucks d00d" and "we need west coast mods." Let's add a facebook so that TSM can be your one-stop shop for lack of productivity.

YTMND of all places has a damning indictment of Coldplay by slowing down/speeding up Clocks and Speed Of Sound and then overdubbing one on the other. There's the whole Talk/Computer Love deal, but we all know the story behind that -

Yes I do, and I can slap them together in one big composite file so you can compare and contrast, actually, but I have class from 2.15 to 3.30 and I won't get it saved and uploaded in like five minutes. I've also done this with Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" and Cheap Trick's "The Flame," as well as the obvious "Are You Gonna Be My Girl"/"Lust For Life" one. Hey. "Don't Speak" and "Breakfast In America" -

In terms of strongest songs from a musical standpoint, I think I have to give it to "This Night Has Opened My Eyes." The way everyone is playing off each other is just outstanding. Really a lesser-known track; another casualty of a single-oriented discography. (This was a bonus track on a singles/b-sides/rarities compilation.) Who in his right mind would put "Vicar in a Tutu" on an album over "Rubber Ring" -
Man, read that. Was I as giddy as a schoolgirl or what last night?

Panic isn't very good. It's the EXACT same G major-E minor from "Metal Guru" by T. Rex; Marr freely admits this. With the "hang the DJ!" part, it's as repetitive as "Barbarism. . ." at just 1/3 the length. "Ask" is better. It's so sweet it corrodes your teeth. -

No, you're wrong about Rourke. Do you know much about music? Honestly. He wasn't told "exactly" what to play; it's rare that bassists are told exactly what to play. Look at sheet music for big band. It's very seldom that piano, rhythm guitar, and bass parts are written out note-for-note. Yes, Marr gave him the chords to work with, but Rourke pretty much took care of the actual part from there within the given parameters of the chord progression. Read The Severed Alliance, Songs That Saved Your Life, anything in which the musical talents of the band are discussed, and Morrissey, Marr, Joyce, John Porter, Stephen Street, anybody will attest to the fact that Andy Rourke was coming up with highly innovative bass lines, when other bassists would be content to just go chunk-chunk-chunk-chunk on the root of each chord. They said you can isolate the bass track of any song and it'll be just as interesting on its own as the guitar parts. If he was expendable as you make him seem, don't you think they would've just kept Craig Gannon at bass? As for "This Charming Man," Marr said early on that he would retire it at age 23 or something so as not to keep the same old songs kicking around in the live set. As for Johnny Marr, the guitarist, I can't call him overrated at all. Far from it. His grasp of counterpoint is amazing, and he just does all this really subtle stuff that's actually much harder to do than it sounds. He makes tough stuff seem effortless, which is the mark of any good musician. -
I'm growing my hair out again. It began as a cost-cutting measure, but now it's really grown on me. wow two puns, I should die

Oh ma. This is my thought process just now "Ah, good old Groundhog Day. Good movie. Filmed like half an hour from where I live." "Hmm. I should rent Groundhog Day." "You know, it'd be cool, since it'd be right around Groundhog Day." "..." "HEY! TODAY IS GROUNDHOG DAY!!"

Woodstock is getting to be a real shithole these days. Strangely, Wheeling doesn't look bad as it used to. I think all the lower-class Hispanics must've picked up their stuff and moved from one to the other en masse.

Sir, you know that isn't true. Johnny Marr is a superior composer/arranger/producer compared to Stephen Street, Boorer & White, and anyone else Moz worked with after Marr. Andy Rourke is a fantastic instrumentalist if you bother to pick out his bass lines, say what you will about Mike Joyce but at least he wasn't splitting time with Good Charlotte. Basically, Moz's lyrical quality is pretty constant from 1984 to present, it's just the music behind him that makes the difference. -

Yeah, I generally never say I want to fuck a guy in the ass, especially if the guy appeared to be a hot female. -

niskie, step back and realize that post didn't make any sense. -
Oh, I'm not going to click that.

I need a good clean copy of Mothersbaugh's "Hey Jude" arrangement to complete my Tenenbaums soundtrack. EDIT: Oh, hey, they're allowed to release it now. got it. I need to find that Vivaldi concerto and I'm set

Well, I'm not entirely sure I understand that, but okay.
