Here's my opinion: They're paying them for taking them off their bookings? Good. But I don't see the need to praise them for doing what they should do. I still don't understand why they don't just let them work RoH at this point. Maybe when they start trying to run shows in Pennsylvania and Ohio I'll understand...but for now...I don't get it. Also...I'm convinced that TNA could cure cancer and the negativity over it would swamp this board.

Well...the idea of house shows is something I've been wanting to hear for some time. Plus...Jarrett, Raven, Styles and others were a part of a very successful indy show in Buffalo last year...so I'd have to imagine we'd be in Jarrett's mind of places to get to.

and just like that its over..Mariners win. Now, I noticed that Bonds hit #666 last night. He should get stuck on #666 for a while.. I just saw the highlight on ESPN. How exactly was that a balk? Did the pitcher not throw it to first? The throw isn't the problem with the balk. The problem is if you complete your step towards home and then turn and throw to first anyway.

I've had the TPB sitting around for a while now. I'm still trying to finish reading the rest of the stuff I bought.

Well...if Daniels is going to be around for the next two weeks, he'll win. Shane has a seperate storyline going on anyway. My question is how they're going to work the X Cup with 4 teams. What I came up with was to keep the same point system (1 for singles win, 2 for tag win, 1 point per elimination in the 8 man match) and have each team choose who will work singles and who will work tag. It would work like this: Team NWA: Jerry Lynn and Chris Sabin will work singles matches against say...Hector Garza from AAA and one of the Japanese guys. Then Skipper and Daniels would work a tag against Hart and Evans from team Canada. Team AAA: Garza would work the singles match against the team NWA guy, Aguila would work singles against one of the other Canadian guys, and then Negro and Heavy Metal would work against 2 Japanese guys. Team Canada: Hart and Evans are working against the NWA team, One of the guys works a singles against team AAA, and the other against Team Japan. Team Japan: Single vs. Canada, Single vs. NWA, Tag vs. AAA. It works out with the same # of matches...4 singles and 2 tags...and everyone has to face each different team once. The card would be something like: Lynn vs. Garza Sabin vs. one of the Japanese guys Aguila vs. Petey Williams Johnny Devine vs. one of the Japanese guys XXX vs. Hart and Evans Negro and Metal vs. 2 of the Japanese guys Then I don't know what to do with the elimination match. Maybe you just have all 4 teams in...since the way to get points is to score the pin or submission for your team...not just to avoid elimination. That would be wild.

The bottom line is that he's a better back than what New England has had...and when you can upgrade a key position like RB with a second round pick...it can't be a bad deal.

They should have to let Williams back at USC. What he did was follow the rules...and then the rule changed. That isn't his fault.

It's a good move because he's a proven commodity like you said. The recent history of first round running backs isn't exactly sparkling. Plus...they still have 2 first round picks and another 2nd.

It's a good move on both sides. Cinci didn't need him. New England did.

It makes sense that Vince doesn't want footage he doesn't own of Truth facing Snow. TNA could just buy the footage and air it.

I think a lot of people, me included, believe more in BenRo than Eli. That's laughable.. a lot of people are writing Eli off just because of his last name. Eli has the tools to be as good as Peyton -- not saying Ben won't be good, but I would definitely take Manning over Roethlisberger. I'd say it's quite the opposite. If Phillip Rivers name was Phillip Manning he'd be the prospective #1 and Manning would be behind him and Big Bust Roethlisberger.

I'm sure they'll figure out a distribution deal eventually...I just don't expect that announcement anytime soon. Furthermore...If they were smart (I know...I know) they'd start running frigging house shows and growing their audience in the areas that get their shows (especially if they get a TV deal). Put the house shows on DVD to help cover the cost of the shows...but for Pete'ssake...if they could get to the point where they could COVER THE COST OF THEIR SHOWS BY DRAWING ACTUAL PAYING FANS there outlook for longterm success would skyrocket.

AAAHHH!!! Don't believe it. It goes in line with the video game and other things that I'm still expdecting big announcements for.

I'd vote for him too. He better start campaigning right after this election though. He has to get a lot of young people to register to vote if he's to have a prayer. He won in Minnesota because you could register to vote at the booth...and first time voters did that in force.

I can't stand this show either. I watched a bunch of them just to make sure I wasn't catching random bad eps... I wasn't. Show is poop. Exactly the kind of show that Fox has to give a whole year to. It's light and meaningless.

Well...at least Resident Evil 4 is still (at this time) GC exclusive. They've already announced that Viewtiful Joe and Killer 7 will be heading to PS2.

Anyone have a list of all the companies that have either ended exclusivity deals or abandoned the system altogether? I'm willing to bet we're pushing double digits at this point. There was a string of them a year ago.
