Problems: They had a KOTM match what would be 3 days before a KOTM match? And what were they hanging on the hook? Robert Roode and Booker T teaming makes the baby Jesus cry. Even if they had a backstage promo from Booker explaining it...I'm not buying that he's forgiven Roode for hurting his wife. ... It sounds like the 2 weeks of spoilers amount to Styles keeps coming at the bad guys despite the odds being stacked against him. I like that, at least. ... and YEAH! The beautiful people!

I bought the best of 2007 DVD today while I was picking up some other DVDs. I popped it in to watch the Harris/Storm match. Man...what a bloody bloody good fight that was. It's funny...I don't really like the Last Man Standing match...but between this one and the HHH/Orton one there's been 2 really good ones in the last year.

"TNA: what glass ceiling?" That's a tad unfair, I think. Robert Roode already got in the match, Joe's the champion going in and Rhino hadn't been pushed near the top in forever. Tomko wasn't going to win while he's in the doghouse and Storm getting in would be basically like Roode getting in again. 2 midcard heels with no chance to win the match anyway. At least Rhino's been on a winning streak. I'd almost find it more offensive if Storm got in over Rhino since Rhino won their feud AND scored the pin for him team at Lockdown...over Storm.

I'm very well versed on pro wrestling of the last 25 years. Anything before that I wouldn't know how to sell it and I wouldn't know what to do with them.

Blame Hawk for taking Funk! I had to come up with a whole new plan at #2. And it was between Steamboat, The Bulldogs and someone who hasn't been taken yet. I went with Steamboat because he's probably my favorite in ring guy of all time...even if he lacks the outside the ring charisma of others.

I think I wanted Terry Funk more than anyone else that's been picked. I'm basing that on not having had the opportunity to obviously pick any of the people before I got a chance to select. I really wish Funk had been there when I picked second.

I did it in short bursts over a long period. Hit about 20 and then do something else for and come back another day or time. Man...popping that last one fealt so good.

I shot my last pigeon the other day. I got my 100%. I lined that fucker up and talked mad shit to it.

I really like the Beatiful People. I've said before it's my favorite part of the show at this point. They're just easy to hate...and it helps that I want to fuck Velvet Sky more than any Diva... Yeah...I like me the Beautiful People.

I have 9 hour shifts some days...It would be kinda cruel if I got skipped because I had to work....because I'd never be late otherwise. And it's not just one person skipping you...If I start a shift at 4pm and get home at 1:30 am...in theory a ton of picks could have gone by because I was at work.

Years ago I was really drunk and at a Denny's at like 5 in the morning when I ordered the same thing I always ordered when I found myself drunk and at Denny's at 5 in the morning... Chicken Fingers, a bagel with cream cheese and hashbrowns. Now...I'd ordered that a ton of times and it was usually the same waitress who never bothered me about items that didn't fit together under some super special meal plan... But on this day I got the mean waitress who hated when people came in to order food at that hour. Now...I worked in food service and I could kinda sympethize...but it is her job. Plus...we always left big tips. So I place my order and she immedietly tells me that chicken fingers don't come with hashbrowns in that mean way that tells you that she's just a miserable miserable person. She'd never bothered to say anything the other few times she'd been our waitress, and I had always paid extra when the bill came. It isn't her job to tell me what I can order...it's her job to bring me the food and my job to pay for whatever I got. So I told her I didn't mind paying extra. She scoffed and mumbled that everything was going to be charged seperately. At which point I closed my menu, smiled at her and said "Well...I don't work at Denny's so I'm pretty sure I can afford it." Then we sat and waited for a long time. I got up to use the bathroom and saw the cook tell her that this order (ours obviously) had been up for a while, to which she replied "Oh...they're waiting". So I went to the table, collected my friend (leaving the money for the drinks we'd gotten on the table...just to be a prick) and said "Thanks for nothing you fat cunt" on the way to the door. The look on her face was priceless. If I hadn't worked in food service, I probably would have been more polite from the start...but there's a difference between bad service and intentionally being a fat cunt.

Oh I think the storyline is bad, and I don't see it ending in any way thats any good... I was just impressed that, when I thought about it, none of the characters were acting out of character...which is usually the norm in Russo's wacky back and forth booking.

When taken as the over the top soap opera that the storyline has been...the characters have actually made sense throughout the whole Kurt/Karen/AJ ordeal. Karen was used to seduce the idiot Styles into joining Kurt's side...but Styles was too much of a rube to understand that and took her affection as genuine. Kurt is an ass who always treats Karen with no respect, while idiot Styles treated her like a lady. Karen pulls away from Kurt who only cared about retiring Joe at that point, finally realizing that Kurt doesn't respect her. Now that Kurt decides he has time for Karen again he more or less demands her back which she refuses. Kurt more than suspects Styles as having been with Karen...and with the egging on of the other heels KOs him when his efforts to do something for Karen end with Karen in Styles arms. It's all ridiculous as an angle...but at least they've had the characters heart in the right places. Karen SHOULD want away from Kurt...and SHOULD be flattered by Styles. Kurt SHOULD want to beat the shit out of Styles. And Styles, for all his part in this (may or may not be with Karen) SHOULD stop acting like an idiot and stand up for himself. Especially from Kurt's perspective it doesn't matter that Styles and Karen probably aren't sleeping together...he's a heel and he's going to blame Styles for breaking up his marraige when anyone else can see that Kurt was a terrible husband.

I knida took it as "angle really wanted to show off for his wife" but when he did what she wanted, she ran to AJ's aid instead of being pleased with him. ... From that mindset...yeah...I'd have waffled him with that chair too.

Between his own Biography, Bret's biography and this book I still have yet to read like...one nice sentence about Dynamite as a person.

I'm on page 113 and I'm enjoying the book alot. One thing that I have to keep reminding myself as I read it though is that it isn't a biography, it's a true crime book. There's a big difference. Obviously the book is really negative towards wrestling...but the point of the book is to examine what leads someone to what happened and not to tell the life story of a guy.

I like Booker with 3D more than Angle. Unlike Angle, Booker hasn't been able to get to the top on his own in TNA. I like him as just a jerkoff heel who beats the shit out of people with 3D since he can't get his way. Angle will always, at the end of the day, be better off as just a solo guy who backs up his brashness with legit wins.

I'm aware... Moments before I hit the add reply key on that selection I had flashes of drafting Guerrero in the first round and dying in smark heaven.

I was torn between a couple of people that fit in better with my first pick...but that would have pulled me too far in one direction that I probably couldn't have come back from. I flat out know there is one guy who I should take here that I'm not just because I feel like I have to pick the guy I am. If that makes sense. So...he can only play face... But I pick Ricky Steamboat anyway.

Things are just more exciting with Silva back in the mix.
