If he did, I'd be equally surprised and unsurprised. Not many can get that reaction out of me. Good show.

The eros post count era is over, the phileo post count era remains.

I do drunken boxing and capoeira. Judo is is the best for beefcakes.

No, it was directed at your conversion of this site into a shrine to me because of your platonic love for me. Don't deny it.

Looks like Popeye.

This site is like a shrine to me.

From his comments on the dvd, I gather that Rob wanted to allow the audience the sympathize with the Fireflys if they wanted to, but not to force them. However, it seems most people did, in the test screenings at least. Bitchin' soundtrack, yeah. I was going to spring for it, but they put clips of dialogue from the movie in between the songs. I guess that's ok sometimes, but I don't like it.

Listen to Buckminster Fuller. There you go.

I happen to agree that the only movie you're allowed to cry in is Old Yeller, but... in this instance, I consider over-indulgence a good thing. He's the schlock version of Tarantino. Over-hyped, probably. Tarantino is also over-hyped. But if you're a fan of the respective genres, both guys' movies are good fun.
-
I suppose there will be spoilers in what I'm about to say. The thing I don't understand about this movie, is I heard people say they cried when they die at the end. I mean, ok, they're entertaining characters, and I for one, root for the bad guys without exception, but... does it not make sense thematically for them to die? It was a perfect ending. And crying just makes you a bitch anyway. William Forsythe was so bad ass, too. I loved him, I couldn't be against him. He made John Wayne look like Richard Simmons. Also, I kind of like Corpses, actually. Rob and I have similar tastes, and I can enjoy it as what he wanted it to be: a tribute to stuff. It wound up sucking as a film, but the whole was much, much less than the sum of it's parts, if you follow me.

Eh, for months I thought Black Lushus was called Blackalicious.
-
It's been there since I switched from Just Milky?
-
Always. I swear it's their official policy to hire those people. The most ghetto black people I've ever seen (as in, most ghetto, not the most of them) was at Krystal's in the Atlanta airport.

Speaking of that, there's no way they can do that for Order of the Phoenix. This movie was trimmed as low as it can go, and OotP is longer, and has more intricate plot details. It's just not possible. After that, we're shorter again, so it's ok, but I will be shocked if they squeeze OotP into one movie.

It's true that the era of caring about post counts is over.

My favorite Feud exchange (this was on the opening buzzer): "Name a question, such 'How old are you?', which a woman might answer with a lie." Conestant one: "30" He repeats the question, with emphasis. Contestant two: "18" Repeats question again, slowly, with more emphasis, goes to the next member of the family. Contestant 3: "I'd say... 50."
-
I'd give that honor to Family Feud, myself, but Wheel is close. It's no wonder Ray Combs offed himself. Interestingly, the single best player I've ever seen on Feud (and that's my favorite one) was a thirteen year old kid on the Dawson version. He got everything.
-
But adding a bit of plaid to that equals Kotz.
-
That may be, I don't watch Wheel all the time. He generally seems like a cardboard cutout when I watch. I did convince my second grade classmates that he was my father, though.

Hey, King Kong. That's one thing I like about these remakes.

You can eat Popeye's biscuits plain they're so good. Maybe some people do that with all biscuits... but for me, those are the only ones. Regarding Boston Market cornbread, you're from Nebraska, so you've probably never had really good cornbread. It's a southern thing.
-
They don't have biscuits at Boston Market, which is too bad, as their sides are good too. They have cornbread, but it's not that good.
-
Ok, maybe it will hurt my image, but I've never done that to where I remembered it. And besides, you're saying girls have no taste. They can cook. Some of them. Also, I agree with Lushus with the exception of the biscuits. Popeyes biscuits are the best.

I don't think it's all that strictly enforced, anyway. There's four or five banned posters here now.
