A thread for me - ME! - to ask Milky a bunch of questions
Nighthawk replied to Dark Age's topic in No Holds Barred
I don't get the appeal. Like, at all. I could just as easily ask someone why they do like sports. I mean, at least because I used to play football, I can watch a football game and follow it on a strategical level, but I'll still be bored. Hate's too strong a word, I don't really hate any bands. Bands I dislike are generally bands that bore me. Just middle of the road stuff that's not even actively bad, it just has no substance. You know, your Staind, POD, Linkin Park type stuff. Like a guy I know, who I've often called the stupidest person I've ever met (he's not a bad guy though, don't get me wrong) who got a Breaking Benjamin tattoo. It's the epitome of stupid. [As an aside to this question, I was in Denny's late at night recently, and noticed that have a new rock star menu. That's right. Items endorsed by the "top stars of rock" such as Boys Like Girls, Katy Perry, Hoobastank, and Taking Back Sunday. Hooburrito indeed.] Albums wise, it's more common that there will be a band I like, and they'll jump the shark. For example, Metallica after And Justice For All or AC/DC after Back in Black. Probably the worst album I own is Victoria Beckham's s/t. It's awful. I am sort of streamlining my music collection these days, anyway. -
No. It's not interesting anymore.

Milk was awesome. Once it opens wherever you live, I'd suggest you see it. Too bad it didn't come out a few months ago, with the prop 8 stuff.

Depends on your knowledge of deities, I suppose, but I was only considering maybe three Hindu deities for my list.

Manson is a fascinating individual for several reasons. 1) He's an example of someone being raised by the system. He had spent most of his life in institutions before the business with Spahn ranch and all that, and obviously all of his life since then. He's a textbook example of the lifelong inmate, which is interesting. 2) It's an amazing example of someone being in the right place at the right time. Manson is just some crazy idiot, and not unique crazy, he's really no different from hundreds of people, many of whom you've probably met. But by being placed in the time and place he was, he becomes a messianic figure to this day. The funny thing is, he knows this. He really doesn't deny it. Some of his correspondents and biographers will say this about him, that he's nothing special, and he'll laugh and agree. He's just Charlie. 3) The cult of personality he's inspired is fascinating as all cults of personalities are. 4) I do enjoy his music. That's actually an indication of the time period. Back then, some crazy street dweller who wrote songs, he could be crashing on the Beach Boys' couch. The 60s, man. 5) Manson is one of my favorite historical figures, but not in the notorious criminal category. I always liked the idea of living out on some ranch with a bunch of naked chicks who think you're their messiah. Well, I love all of those people, but not in the same way. I wouldn't say I love GG as much as my mom or girlfriend. Mom and girlfriend are good answers, but I wouldn't compare them. You know, it's like your children, you don't love one more than the other. Or in the same way as your parent, or uh... life partner. Well, it's just shorthand for saying I want to be God. But no, it wouldn't be boring. If you extrapolate omnipotence, if I get bored, I can just say "I declare that I will not be bored anymore." and I won't be. Or I could be selective about my knowledge as to how I access it and the like. Omnipotence, as a concept, is infinite in application. We'll see. You have to be respectful, there will be no drinking or getting high... at home. Going out, with or without KOAB, is different, but I have a pretty quiet home life. -
I'd do something like that, but not for Leena. It would be much more fulfilling doing it for Taiga.

Czech you stupid fag, move that draft folder up to where it's more visible. Idiots...

No, it was purely a matter of convenience. -

I haven't! I always wanted to, but the opportunity never came up. I almost did, I was sort of pursuing one, but this was a very pretentious tranny. Very new age and shit. Fuck that (or actually don't fuck that, as it were). A tranny and a midget were probably at the top of my list of people to do. Were I ever to fuck a tranny midget, I suppose that would be like Freddy Krueger and Clint Eastwood flying in on pterodactyls and high fiving, exploding the world. It's one I've heard a few times, which goes something like "You're one of/the nicest/sweetest people I've ever met." This is meaningful to me because it's one of my qualities which surprises some people. Most of my other awesome traits are to be expected. While not a direct compliment, our own Amazing Rando writing a fucking novel about me ranks highly as well. Easy. Omnipotence, omniscience, immortality. Though once I have omnipotence, I don't need the other two. As a bonus, here is the answer to this question I gave in the first grade: an infinite supply of chicken nuggets, a trained Tyrannosaurus, and to never have to go to the bathroom again. -

Never have, never will. No afterlife, nothing to fear. Infinity is bliss. (I saw your old question, too, but I imagine you found that out on your own.) -

Good question. I had Batman, Superman and Spider-Man pajamas. They were the kind that just looked like a facsimile of the respective costumes, more or less. They were frequently for everyday wear, too. There's a classic home video of me at around 4 or 5 years old, running around Show Biz Pizza (like Chuck E. Cheese) in Atlanta, in Batman pajamas, and this girl keeps chasing me and kissing me and trying to pull the pajama bottoms down. I seem bothered by this, but have an obvious erection. -

I haven't, no, but I am familiar with it and it's been on my list of movies to see for a while. I'll bump it up my netflix queue. -
I talked to her for a minute and got bored and distracted, but her name is still on my aim list which I never sign onto. You guys don't want to talk to her, she's not interesting depressed.

Funny you should ask. The answer is yes: The Dentist starring Corbin Bernsen. (Funny because I was just getting ready to watch it right now). Like a lot of people, I get a bit squeamish with things being done to teeth, and that movie is just stuff being done to teeth non-stop. Incidentally, just last night I watched Midnight Meat Train (and no, that's not a porn), and cringed a bit during the removal of teeth, fingernails and eyes (all sensitive subjects for many people... the filmmakers knew what they were doing there.) Some Larry Clark and Harmony Korine movies can make me uncomfortable by being too easy to relate to, particularly Bully and Gummo. -

Yes. I'm a big fan of pole dancing. To do myself, I guess it's moshing. Right now I'm in Emeryville, but I'm actually getting ready to move again (I know, what a hassle). What had happened was once me and this girl decided to officially live together, I moved out of my old place and in with her, but we want to get a new place together, and since her lease is up at the end of the month, there you go. I won't even really unpack. New place should be in Berkeley or, failing that, North Oakland. -

Have a drink perhaps, although I can't get shitfaced anymore. Just a casual drink. We could go to an open mic, rant and rave. See a comedy show, we like the same comedians. I was actually in LA over thanksgiving, but I had zero free time, and it was the holiday and all, otherwise I might have tried to make some tsm connections. I'll be back, though. What, me and tsm? Me and you? Or me and the woman? With her, easily. It was strange, like we had been meant to be together, and only waiting to meet. I essentially moved in with her the first day we met. -

Well, since you're talking about yourself, I'd be fine with it. I know you in an abstract enough way. I live with a girl now, though, so I'd have to ask. She's not unreasonable, though. She said that were we to marry, EL BRUJO would be invited to the wedding. I could try. I think that particular request would be one of the easiest to grant, as the east bay is full of hot hispanic bitches, and you seem like the kind of guy they like. I have some connections. -

A screwed up pick means it's your tough luck and the next person can go.

I've discovered that riding in a car without a seat belt bothers me. It feels way more vulnerable than having sex without a condom.

No, not really. I've definitely been suicidal, in the context of not caring whether I lived or died, but I never actively wanted to die. I've thought a lot about suicide, mine and others, but only in an abstract way. I'd have preferred martyrdom, or if things got so bad that I just said fuck it, my version of suicide would have just been to start killing people. Be shut off from the world. stay in a little room forever, or else get executed. It all amounts to the same. But in short, I've always been one for cheap thrills over apathetic despair. No, I haven't done that for a while. My cutting was interesting in that in was a result of multiple factors. The usual emotional emptiness, sure, but there was also outright masochism, and of course my trademark nihilism. I've channeled a lot of it into kinky sex (I used to be almost always dominant, but I'm now a half step above complete submissive. It's much more enjoyable) and body modification. The gf does know of my history with it (I couldn't very well hide it from her, what with the scars). She's interested, empathetic and supportive. She's a good woman. She and I are a lot alike, by which I don't mean she is/was a cutter, but she and I understand each other very well.
