    Disturbing "reality" movies about teenagers

Hm, my guess would have been the proverb about blind men describing an elephant based on the different parts of the elephant they felt, as relates to the motivations of school shootings. City of God has been on my to watch list for a while. This is the first I've heard of Los Olvidados, which sounds interesting. No dvd apparently, but it sounds like the kind of thing which will get one, so hopefully I can find it to rent and not waste money on VHS. That's why VHS isn't dead, though. Kids I do enjoy watching, but it's a little too "after school special" to be that effective. Interestingly, the first time I heard of it was when I was some juvenile correctional programs, and some of the kids there held it up as a kind of blueprint for their lives, idolizing the characters and wanting to be like them. That's more disturbing than the movie itself.

    Pictures I Like

I had a dream that prominently featured shoes very much like those old school pumas last night. True story.

VHS is not dead. Mock full screen all you want, but I don't want to see you become sheep for dvd.

    Women troubles.

Kill her and have no emotional response to it. Then brag about it to a bunch of high school kids. They'll make a movie out of it.

    Advice On Meeting Wrestlers

Act like you're not a fan at all. Call them "Hey you." That's the best way.

    N.W.A's Straight Outta Compton

I approve of this. On a side note, yesterday I had Straight Outta Compton on the headphones and my brother thought I was listening to Eminem. I guess it sort of sounds like that through someone else's headphones.

    The Chronic and Doggystyle.

I consider them equal. Compton is way more important, but objectively, after the flawless opening of the first three songs, the rest is almost a let down. Niggaz is more consistent and a lot more offensive, which is good. Personally, I think Amerikkka's Most Wanted is better than either.

How come no one posts WON anymore?

Neither of you got the plagiarism spelling right, and there's a poster here who uses it as his name. I mean, come on.

Ten Year Anniversary of the OKC Bombing

Not necessarily. Sarcasm and humor are often used in conjunction, but are not mutually inclusive.

I heard on the radio that they're going to start restricting DXM cough medicines. They say people are using it to make meth, so they're going to put it behind the counter at the pharmacy and restrict how much you can buy. Jingus won't be happy.

No, yeah, I agree with you, Doggystyle is better.
