You'd be surprised. I expected someone to come in and go "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT LOOK AT BRITNEY SPEARS DOMINATING THE AIRWAVES INSTEAD OF (Whatever band they like) YOURE STUPID!" in some form or another. You: "Britney > (Whatever band they like)" starting ANOTHER cycle. Who would say that? I thought everyone had learned better by now. Britney dominating the airwaves assures me that music is fine. I thought she was retired anyway. There's about the same amount of good music and bad music being made now as there ever was, and it has about the same ratio of popularity. This is the way things are, have been and should be. People need to stop bitching, but they just can't get over turning on the radio and hearing songs they don't like. Well, the world doesn't revolve around you. That doesn't mean the U.S. empire is falling. But look at what this thread was supposed to be about. Making any kind of statement about the state of the music industry based on the Kidz Bop albums is pretty daft, punk.

So what is your life comprised of, Mascot?

How long does a string of bad luck last?

No more than Mercyful Fate. -
I think the emperor has no clothes.

Clearly everyone knows exactly what I meant, negating the complaint.

Great, now it's a waste of twice as much space.

Like nl5xsk1, I didn't really want to see this, but the twist has kindled some interest.

Finished "Get Shorty" which was pretty good but not one of my favorite Leonard offerings. I watched the movie and was dissapointed by it. I have to learn to stop reading the books first, cause that always happens. When I watch the movie first I usually like both. I had intended to read "Be Cool" now, but because of what I've said, I'm watching the movie first. Instead I'm going to start "No One Here Gets Out Alive", the Jim Morrison biography. Heard a lot about it, never sat down and read it myself.

That's what I said.

Do you have the mile high hair, or the long goat beard? The beard yes, the hair no.

Reverting to, more like. It was always her destiny.

A pedigree without the underhook sounds like a pretty gay looking move.

So anyway, I've never listened to an entire Mogwai album, but I get the same thing with Tom Waits. Neither are my absolute favorite, but Heartattack and Vine and The Black Rider are two of my favorite Waits albums, also commonly considered weaker releases.

So is the music forum, except it's like four or five guys who agree with each other telling everyone else to shut up.

Anybody notice bits of that Saw score were pretty reminscent of Requiem for a Dream? I swear that's the best scored movie of all time.

People have told me I look like Wayne Static.

Why would you want intelligent discussion on the internet? Don't you know people in real life to have that with? Forums should be for testing out your jokes before you use them for real.

I met the Crypt Keeper. For real.

Don't get me started on the giant slut thing either. Ripper would argue that for me, why isn't he ever in this folder?

Perhaps, but I'm still of the opinion the original is really what put him in the public eye. That was when everybody started doing his voice and all that. It had the "I'll be back." line, one of the most recognizable movie quotes ever. Maybe the most recognizable, I can't think of a better one, save perhaps "Luke, I am your father." which if I remember correctly weren't even his exact words in the movie. The problem with picking between the two is the second played off the first, blurring the distinction. T2 is Eddie Furlong's signature role, anyway, as well as Patrick.

I don't see how this is a bad thing if you're aiming to start intelligent wrestling conversation. There's no such thing. He's right. The minute you start taking it seriously, you should stop watching it. Have your fun, lord knows I do, but know where to draw the line.

Henry Lee was the better half of the Lucas/Toole pair. Ottis Toole... now that guy, he was something. I can't even think of words to do him justice. If there was a movie about him, I'd call it Earnest Goes to Hell.
