Well, if you really break it down, and I've thought about this probably more than I should, there are really only 3 or 4 basice horror archetypes. Name original horror movies from any period. They all basically fit into a few categories. There's still plenty of good stuff, I think. What we haven't had in a while, is a true, iconic horror classic. You can see some of the shifts in the industry happening now. They're starting to move away from trying to be cool, which is good. The horror genre was never really bad, but it's going to get better soon.

I wouldn't like having Asians describe me as a fetish. Asians are good if they're actually from Asia, as they'll usually know their place. Americanized Asians can be irritating. Good to help you with your homework though.

Pretty similar to yours, although I'd probably say I like Spine of God the best. I do rather like Powertrip, I think it's better than Superjudge for sure, and holds it's own with the rest of the earlier stuff. I still haven't heard their newest one.
