My dad used to order his fast food meal with two drinks so they'd think he wasn't going to eat it all by himself. Now he just doesn't have any shame. Both scenarios amuse me.

I've got a can of something that expired in the 80s. I put a novelty Ninja Turtles soup label on it, so that's why it's sat so long. Thing is, it's been so long I have no idea what was in there originally. Treasure? Dog food? Come to think of it, cat food is a good guess. I would likely have figured the cats wouldn't know/mind if I stole one of their cans of food. Cat food that expired 20 years ago, there's a thought.

So called "family"? They either are or they aren't.

I prefer to dip apple slices in carmel over the traditional carmel apple. Carnival food in general pleases me, in related news. Cotton candy, lemonades, hand dipped corn dogs, popcorn, elephant ears, french fries that you put vinegar on with a hole in the cap. Actually, carnivals in general please me. Definitely my favorite amusement related locale. Well, besides video arcades. And they're both dying out.

Dick Grayson is actually one of my favorite comics characters. There are ways in which he's the center of the DC Universe, he's involved with so many teams, and he's liked and respected by pretty much everyone. And every girl wants to fuck him. But yeah, Robin done wrong, nobody wants to see that. he's a difficult character to handle.

But why "say" anything. Just put a pillow over his face, look the other way, and hold firm. And then "Oh, it's so tragic!" and you cry for a week and everyone forgets it. Can you honestly say that is any worse than raising a psychopath who, at best, gets you on A&E and at worst, disappoints you over and over. Nihilism is such a depressing viewpoint, but no rational human being can claim it's anything but rational. We're a fucking virus.

I see where you're coming from. That actually comes up in the movie, where he'll try to talk to someone, and they're like "Bill Maher? Oh no, I know what he does. Interview denied!" But he does make a point that it's the belief that he's calling stupid, not the person. Another good example is this scene where he's in a trucker's chapel, and one guy gets pissed off and walks out, but the rest genuinely try to answer his questions, they part amicably, and he allows them to lay hands on him and pray. He says "Thank you for being Christ-like and not just Christians." Good point.

The movie is more for an atheistic or skeptical audience anyway. Because that's the problem, what I believe doesn't affect you one way or the other, but religious beliefs do affect me. Muslims take the brunt of it, as they should... there's also a Chassidic Jew holocaust denier. No shit.

Well, I actually believe that, so...

I just watched Religulous. It was really good, I was expecting it to just be like, Bill Maher making fun of religion, and there is that, but it was actually done very well besides that. It had a strong message about how harmful religion is, as well as ridiculous. And that 16% of Americans are completely non-religious, a huge minority, yet they really don't speak out for their beliefs, and we should. And people who are only sort of marginally religious should take a closer look at what they're involved in. Good stuff.

That's true. As essentially a failure at life, I've traditionally been around girls who are intellectually bankrupt, and use sex as a weapon. As I've raised my standards, I've discovered that well educated and intelligent women feel much more comfortable. That has to do with my own confidence, though, as you said... I used to just not approach them. I'm still not above fucking street trash, though.

Don't debate. There's your problem right there. You don't just make her believe she's wrong about her idea, you make her believe she's wrong about everything. They love it.
