    Hey

Dude... it's cocks... in the TSM Classics folder. Yes I do want them in there.

Is Taxi Driver a good movie.

What a ridiculous thing to say.

Virtually all heroin addicts do that at first, Mr. Knowledge.

    You used to be smart.
  6. This makes the least sense of anything I've read here. "I don't like it, so only one thing can change that... more of it."

Taxi Driver is a good movie that's not as good as it thinks it is. That's all anyone ever needs to know.

I also have things I didn't feel like starting a thread about. The Ying Yang Twins' Georgia Dome is one of the most degrading songs (to women) I've ever heard, and I've heard a lot. Rap's degradation of women can go no further than that. I really think Me & My Brother is perhaps the quintessential party album, and a shining snapshot of all the crunk movement stands for, and one of the greatest southern sleaze albums ever (no Thug Matrimony, however). Lil Jon be damned, the Ying Yang Twins are the true embodiment of their genre. I respect that.

You idiot. Johnny Cash is a country singer. If he's doing synth pop covers, what do you expect? A better comparison would Marilyn Manson's version, which I actually haven't heard. I will though, because that album comes with all his videos. You won't understand or appreciate Johnny Cash without understanding or appreciating country music. Which is ok, and as it should be, what I disagree with was Cash's placement as Gen X Crooner 2.0 (prototype was Tony Bennet), because you can easily create a facetious appreciation of Cash, be you a mall brat like CM Funk, or an indy fag like Incandenza, but if you have no connection with country music at all, you're not going to get Johnny Cash. I know people talk up Cash on here, but nobody gets him, except maybe Downhome, and myself, because my musical taste is the broadest and deepest of anyone here, and Downhome's a bumpkin.

Rhino's 4-disc "Left of the Dial" comp

I don't care for that box set because I'm only interested in compilations of things where I wouldn't be interested in the whole. I like that kind of music anyway, I don't need it condensed.

    Hey

    Ha ha.

    Agent of Oblivion.

And, Incandenza, you pm me, your password. I'll keep it for more than an hour.

Wait, I get it. All the other things I said are still true though.

    Agent of Oblivion.

I don't suppose, hypothetically, anyone would care.

I prefer The Dwarves Must Die, personally.

This is wrong because I like this song but I want to remember the riff and can't do it. I'll hear it again and say "Ok, I'm not gonna forget it this time." but I always do. Also, you're dumb for saying this is of all time. Also, Physical Graffiti was terrible and Franz Ferdinand is better than Led Zeppelin. The best song of all time is All Blues by Miles Davis. The best song so far this year (and it being November, probably this year definitively)is Let's Go by Trick Daddy/Lil Jon/Twista.

The greatest techno band ever is The Berzerker

The Berzerker isn't a techno band, if anything, they're a gabber band, which although it is a form of techno, would be like saying oh... Slayer and Jethro Tull play the same type of music. And they only incorporate gabber elements. They're gabber/thrash, which I have dubbed, just now, Gash. Ken Ishii is the greatest techno dance artist.
  18. Like your family. Haw haw haw.

    So probably not then.

    Albums Listened to Today

A curious anomaly about listening to these two albums, probably intensified by listening to them both, is that on Do Somethin, one of the new Britney songs, she's pretty much rapping like Trick Daddy. I think I like that even more than Eminem doing Pee Wee Herman's laugh, because it doesn't seem like she was trying to rap like Trick Daddy. I think Thug Matrimony is the pinnacle of dirty south albums, by the way.

    Albums Listened to Today

And here's what I listened to today. Rarely is a group assembled where Nina Simone is the worst vocalist, but there you go.
