So I've got a Gameshark 2 v4, it says I can play dvds from any region with it. I decide to give it a try, pop in a region 2 disc, set it to region two, and it says it can't be played due to region restrictions. What's up with that? It's not particularly urgent, I have other means of watching such dvds, but I still wonder what the problem is.

Well, it says Panasonic PanaSync C1291 on it. It's like 10 years old or something. My dad gave it to me years ago, along with the rest of his computer, and it was old when he had it. Every other part of the system has since been replaced, but the monitor remains.

Not the monitor itself, physically, the image on the screen is shaking back and forth, fairly slightly but quite noticable. Never heard anything of the sort myself, anybody here have some explanation? It's old and wasn't top of the line when it was new, maybe this starts to happen over the years, I don't know.

Unfortunately it would seem he's already there. He's probably in times square as we speak, the poor bastard.
