I disagree. These are the things I've done: played guitar (not all that good at it), sang (could have been worse), rapped (sucked but in a funny way), and djed (not bad). Being a dj gets you so much ass it isn't even right. You don't even really have to do anything, just say you're a dj and you're in.

Outkast is alternative/atlanta hip hop, with sometime forays into more experimental territory. Get their three latest albums. Before that they were kinda different, still good, but not something I'd recommend based on liking that song. edit: Aquemini, Stankonia and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below are the names of the three I'm talking about.
