    Carl's Jr. & Hardee's

I went to Carl's Jr when I slept at pbone's the other day and I had their Monster Breakfast sandwich. Fuck that thing is fucking badass. I pull no punches, I love fast food, it's a struggle to stay out of the places, but I particularly love fast food breakfast. That's the best breakfast sandwich, easy. I used to favor the traditional BK sausage croissan'wich, but they stopped using actual croissants and used bread in the shape of a croissant. You can get the same thing at Jack in the Box still in a real croissant. 24 hour drive thru and 24 hour breakfast were good shit during my more party heavy days. Sausage biscuits at 3 in the morning while you're all fucked up... that's the finger of god.

    Desert Island Draft

It'd probably be better to just give our thoughts here, top three, whatever comments you want to make. Worked in the music draft. I kinda need the first post updated to do it, though, to see who has what.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

You know, I really like this chick M.I.A. I don't know enough about her to know whether this is guilty/shameful/prideful. That's comforting, to not even care. That paper planes song from the Pineapple Express trailer, you know I hate weed, but I won't lie, I'd get high to that shit all day.

That's true of my interest in it.

    You look older.

    San Francisco

Oh, if we do it, we ain't using the free acid I get from homeless people. Hell no. But I'm sure it won't be too hard to find.

    San Francisco

I've gotten acid for free... multiple times. I'm very anti drug, but I might be persuaded to do it with you.

Things that Amuse or Please You

I do that because I have to sometimes, but I hate it.

    The Hangover Thread

I've bought liquor early in the morning (to drink), and never got sad eyes. Still, I think middle eastern liquor store owners are the most cold blooded motherfuckers on the planet. They kind of have to be. Anyway, I justified it with the old Lionel Hutz "It's 9:30 in the morning!" "Yeah, but I haven't slept in days." Buying liquor for emergencies is a fool's game, though. If you really want it, it's not hard to get, no matter what time it is. Especially in LA.

    Austin Powers 4 Planned

I'd be into it. That's some dada shit.

You actually do want to go to the tenderloin, if you're into... that sort of thing. It's pretty entertaining.

    The Hangover Thread

Exactly. It's liquor that will fuck me up. Beer is and always will be cool.

    The Hangover Thread

I suppose I should say "if you're already depressed, it won't make it better".

    You're a fucking unoriginal bastard.

    The Hangover Thread

Hey, I have classes cause of my DUI, I know all about that. But it does make you depressed.

    The Hangover Thread

Yeah, I'm the opposite. Guilt makes me drink more, in a "Fuck it now, man." kind of way. That's actually pretty common, to drink because you're depressed, when alcohol is itself a depressant... you can see where that leads. Besides, alcohol is a very personal comfort. For example Marney is a complete alcoholic, and she seems very successful. I would probably be better off in the long run if I had never tried it, but reports of my alcoholism have been greatly exaggerated.

    The Hangover Thread

I mean, hell, after the DUI, I've never really let the alcohol fuck up anything for me, except occasionally relationships which I can patch up with ease. I was totally out of control with it at one point, but I'm learning not to feel guilty. I can drink in moderation, I just feel more comfortable drinking in moderation all the time, as opposed to holding off so I say "Well, now's my chance to get drunk, better do it right." and then wake up two days later in agonizing pain.

    The Hangover Thread

I've come to the conclusion that I will likely never quit drinking completely. The trick is finding healthier patterns within the drinking. For me... straight up Dan Connor. And for all the guilt some of us feel over being alcoholics, take a look at our grandfather's generation. Now those were drinkers.

    San Francisco

I used to go to popscene a lot, and every single time I'd get a good story out of it. I've been kicked out twice (it is kind of a happy friendly club). I should start going there again.

What are you, the female Battlenuts? There's no glory in being disliked.

    Austin Powers 4 Planned

I just looked him up to see if I agree, and apparently he's going to play Keith Moon... interesting choice.

    The Beer Thread.

I heard about this in a Cracked article the other day, and it's become very important that I find it. Suffikator That is the most metal beer ever. I would drink that exclusively... if only that were possible.

    The Hangover Thread

Recently I blacked out and I was talking about killing myself and things, and I was actually in very high spirits when I started drinking. That was good cause I had thought that it was the bitter misanthropy and cynicism making me an asshole when I drink, but even now that I feel really very nice and good all the time, it still turned me into a fiend. Good to know. That night I also did not set my alarm properly (surprise), yet was woken by my internal alarm at 6 am (granted, I woke up off the floor, but it was at the correct time). I found this to be a sort of pinnacle of binge drinking... from happy to suicidal for no reason/passed out on the floor, up in time for work. It was then I modified my habits severely, to the Inverted Stanhope (never get all the way drunk, just have a few beers every night). It's been working great so far.
