Look out, pedophiles. Either Casper Van Dien has had enough or the people who founded ChildHelp are realllly into L. Ron Hubbard. Wait. I just now realized the irony of using Starship Troopers to deliver an anti-pedo message.

Ya know, I was working on a top ten list (that I didn't finish) and came to realize that I really don't like Requiem for a Dream. But not in the traditional way of not liking something. It's a movie that walks a tightrope, balanced by the performances and the direction (this includes the fridge scene, which is really effective). It ultimately falls, for me, in two ways- that it provided such a visceral, nauseating feeling for me that I can't go back and enjoy it (the DVD hit big in my group of friends around the time I was in tenth or eleventh grade and for some reason they insisted on watching it over and over back to back....ass to assssss) and the second being that I can't shake the feeling that I just watched a big budget modern after-school special. Otherwise, mine matched up for the most part with the others, only I had Charlie Wilson's War on it.

Are you talking about the playset or did they do a DVD box in the shape of the firehouse? EDIT-Googling confirms you meant the box set. I just wanted to brag that I had the Real Ghostbusters Firehouse.

Here's the supposed chapters for the 90's DVD. I'm glad to see Hall and Nash make it. http://www.silvervision.co.uk/products/Gre...VD-3-Discs.html

I forgot about Syriana, too. Summer of '06 was a good time to be working at Blockbuster. I got to see both Syriana and Munich with no hassle or cost to me. Not only is Syriana great, but I'd call it the best horror movie of the decade. Especially with the advent of torture porn in the 00s. If Hostel qualifies as horror, then so does Syriana, based on the fingernail scene alone. Speaking of decades, I want to start a thread for discussing movies that define a decade (but are not necessarily the best movie of that decade). I just haven't had time to type up everything since its a complicated concept.

I'm still laughing at Steiner saying "Tell your story walking, bitch!" to JB Jeremy Borash. EDIT-I went out to get a burger. Why are the dipshits back at the desk?

I played the original GBA game but haven't played the sequel with the babies. Did it use the touch screen like that? -

Does Rourke Being at WM Cheapen "The Wrestler"?
Boner Kawanger replied to zappafrank's topic in The WWE Folder
All this means is that Rourke spoiled the surprise a little too early, and now they're playing damage control. He'll still be at Mania. -
They kinda did it in a threeway with Punk, but I think Punk rana'd Morrison into a Miz powerbomb.

In the next Mario & Luigi RPG on the DS, not only do you control the Mario Bros AND Bowser at the same time, but Mario and Luigi are inside Bowser. Fantastic Voyage style, not like fan fiction style. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44848.html -
If the Rumble proved anything, its that everyone loves the Hacksaw.

This thread needs more love. I miss the PWI Match of the Week and its archive in the PWI Almanac. I'm gonna guess the Rumble takes this week by default. I know a lot of people say there were too many people in the ring and they all overused the skin-the-cat spot, but I look at it as so many of the new guys picked up on how useful the move was for HBK and Rock. It was kinda cool seeing something different. Plus it led up to Big Show skinning the cat, which was a pretty cool spot in a match that was loaded with cool stuff (Rey using Mizorrison as steps, RVD's return, Morrison and JTG's hanging kickfest, etc).

2005 was a pretty great year for movies. I remember thinking Munich got robbed, but that's just me. There's a girl on Price is Right right now with stuff written all over her shirt. I don't know if its intentional, but the words make a vague swastika-esque shape.

I really, really liked the Duggan/Savage match

What really puts the Hardys in perspective is the footage on their DVD of the two of them as the guys opening the entrance door at King of the Ring 1995. -
I heard that in round 12, Carcetti puts Cena up against Vanilla Ice in order to split the urban vote.

I think this sums up the Rumble rather concisely:

I still don't see them having a TLC match and Money in the Bank match on the same card, and I think they'd keep MitB over a TLC match.
