FOX Sunday Night 08/09 - now in HD!
Boner Kawanger replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
The real question is, did the episode have a montage set to a popular song from 1950-2000? -
My friend and I were waiting for Duggan the whole time, even discussing it on the way back from driving about an hour to finally see The Wrestler. Since I was doing that all day, I had no idea RVD had been spotted or whatever, so I marked out huge, then recoiled in fear that It would be Chuck Van Haas or something, then marked out again. EDIT: The Undertaker standing behind a glowering Jericho and ghoul-ing up was almost an iconic image and made me want to see them go one on one for the first time at WrestleMania, but only if they're going to keep JBL/Michaels going to WM.

I'm guessing 'Taker gets thrown out by either Kozlov or a returning Umaga. Whichever one can do it gets added to my spell check.

I just realized something. I hope that the always annoying, usually obnoxious Hall of Fame audience doesn't kill every speech with "WHAT" chants.

It was Dwayne Johnson.

78% of all statistics are made up. 0.00000000001% of all statistics are made up by THE COACH. (2% of all statistics are La Parka, oddly enough)

Oh no, JR is going to slip and fall and crush Jeff.
-
Yes, as 98% of the audience ponders.."Why is FAAROOQ up there?" Well hell, 98 percent of the audience is going to be wondering who the hell this Bill Watts guy is anyway. This 98% of the audience would probably see the retrospective video explaining who Watts is and hear Ron say "Watts helped me become the first black world champion" if he did induct him, but since he's fired and JR isn't inducting Austin, it seems to be inconsequential. Also, bully for Flair coming back, if only for the weekend. They have video of him reviewing The Wrestler on WWE.com today. It sounds like he's making an appearance at Mania, too.

This voice seems to have the ability to control certain aspects of young Randall's fate.

Just like Lenny and Lodi...I mean, Idol. -
Was that lady requesting that Wayne Jarvis piss in her asshole and shit in her mouth? Because he's very good. They so have to have "Crosseyed and Painless" over the credits.

Why is there a discarded backseat backstage at the Impact Zone?

Yeah, I'm sure it was said with part sarcasm/part "two thousand pound Andre the Giant" retcon -
Not to mention the best Mr. Freeze episode besides Heart of Ice. "There may be some momentary discomfort."

Didn't Hogan talk about the Undertaker dropping him on his neck "in '74" to Nick on an episode of Hogan Knows Best? -

So he returns video tapes via punt? -
I love how he says "THREEEEEE MORE STAR WARS" with almost the same cadence as his famous "BAAAAACK BODY DROP!!" and it makes me wonder if Vince is culturally aware of what happened with those the prequels. Maybe we can get a CGI manager based on Jar Jar in the next decade...

Society put away Drederick Tatum for his brutal crime. But he's paid his debt, and now, he's going to get revenge... on Homer Simpson.

I dunno...I kinda doubt El Dandy ever knocked anyone out with a punch...

That's what they call it in England, I think. Much like Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. I guess that means I'll miss out if the episode features nunchuks.

I found a KidsWB on demand section with episodes of The Batman and Batman of the Future. Its listed as Batman Beyond, but I have no idea why they're showing the British version instead of the American. Just something I found it interesting.

I want him to come back, having no memory of anything after the Screwjob, and try to get his announcing gig back.

If we're talking underrated, the Goldust angle is pretty great too. Mostly everything rom his Tennessee Williams effeminate Southern belle vocal styling culminating in "Oh god no" when Vader comes out, to the reveal of Luna as the nurse works as a heat magnet. I really enjoyed this Raw, match quality aside.

That is a good point. I can imagine seeing that kind of booking nowadays. I guess Brock was the last guy to get that treatment?
