They really need a villain that can carry two movies, and it could have been Venom or a Goblin. But here we are.

The whole concept of Hogan's "camouflage" promo is insane.

Does that mean a box of stilettos fell on Flair at some point? -

Maybe they can trade tights, too. -
Yep. New Line had the rights for a while. David Goyer was in on it.

Big Bama fan here and watching the game... Arkansas is gift wrapping touchdowns to Alabama. We've had two pick 6's on Casey Dick, and a 84 yard touchdown run as well. Our defense has been on the field a lot, and Arkansas is actually moving the ball pretty well... they just tend to find a way to screw it up more often than not. Goal line stand. This is awesome.

I think Flair's promo at the end is a CHV Exclusive so fuck the live version.

HBK's son losing his smile? No, he loses his binky (blanket)...and he isn't coming back to day care....until he finds it. -
007 in New York will be James Bond on a cruise ship until he gets to New York for the last 13 minutes of the movie.

The "perfect tag team partner" segment from Prime Time, the prematch promos, the match, and the postmatch promos are some of the best segments from that era.

Flair does go on the record officially saying that the nWo was the worst faction in wrestling history because it never made any new stars and eventually killed WCW.

I'll never forget my mom asking me why the Giant and a mummy were raping Hulk Hogan. The Steiners/Nasty Boys match was pretty good, though. -

Not only that, but it was Parkour Cricket -
I hate to say it like this, but I'm just glad the Brian Pillman countdown is almost over. I missed out on a lot of his WWF stuff and found it depressing coming in at the end of it.

Jeff Hardy Strikes Out for the Final Time?
Boner Kawanger replied to zappafrank's topic in The WWE Folder
They let Hardy go off on him for about 20 seconds on a Smackdown not too long ago. That's about it. Edge called him out on it when they were both babyfaces on Smackdown in 2002. I think something about sleeping your way to the top. And if I had a giant animated leprechaun gif, this is where I would post it. -

I love how Charlie believes that disguises are a necessity for nearly everything. Also thirding WILDCARD BITCHES YEE HAW!! But I laughed harder when Mac said they were going back to the original plan, and Charlie drolly replied "Ah. The generator". As for Manhunters, I really wish I hadn't read the IGN review, since it spoiled every good joke. Frank as Rambo saved the episode. Voting ""It's fun." "It's funny."" as the new thread subtitle. -
I always preferred Heenan sucking up to Piper and admitting to knowing it was a kilt, only to turn on him and call him a skirt-wearing freak within 30 seconds.

Halloween is really good. Good enough for me to want a Rifftrax thread at least. There's one really long, grating joke near the beginning, but it picks up. They didn't use up all of their good Donald Pleasance material on Puma Man. Still, the standout line comes when the girls leave the high school and the sign in the background says "TICKETS 555-1234" or what have you and Mike chimes in with an enthused "Boy, I'm gonna get me some tickets to high school!". I was disappointed when I bought Batman and Robin (might as well get all the enjoyment of having that movie thrust into my box set that I can) and they announced that the fans had written it. It's still good, but I'd rather have heard what they could come up with. On the other hand, in Mike's book Movie Megacheese, he writes a pretty scathing review of B&R, calling it the "worst thing ever". So maybe he didn't want to have to watch it multiple times to write jokes.

Nature Boy>Boy Murderer. Sad but true, I know. Man, I can remember renting this one and subsequently buying it from the gas station nearest to my house. I miss those giant cardboard boxes. Of course, I practically wore this match out on my Flair DVD, but I can't wait to be able to see the whole show. I really like the opener (and this will be my first Orient Express match since being exposed to BAD FUCKING COMPANY on AWA on ESPN Classics), and I'm a huge Piper mark. When I was posting in the thread in General Wrestling about the most important things for someone new to watch, the Rumble match itself was what immediately jumped to mind. It's the single best job in wrestling from a booking, workers, and commentary aspect. I hate to say it but this match even has....more cowbell. But don't get me wrong, I'll probably skip the shit in the middle.

Is there a Rifftrax thread?

Well, since it comes on tonight, maybe you can wait IGN has interviews, clips, and a spoiler-heavy review online now. It has me very excited. After all, Rookie of the Year is one my favorites. http://tv.ign.com/articles/911/911256p1.html
