Times WCW Title on the line on Nitro
Boner Kawanger replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Interestingly enough, most of the WWF title changes on network television look to have been booked when Russo was in the company. -
Have to wait until after Christmas, no way I'll get it before them. Damned release date and free shipping (in five to nine days) from Amazon.

Can I start a thread that says "rEASON HHH and Stephanie Separate" then post "EDIT... NOT SEPARATED BUT SIMPLY TRAVELLING TO DIFFERENT CITIES ON TOUR!"? Only if you replace the word 'the' with the word 'to'.

I can't tell...is JBL wearing a HAZMAT suit or Iraqi garb?

Through blind ambition.

David Goyer, the writer/producer for the recently released Blade Trinity, has announced that his next project will be a film version DC Comics' Flash for Warner Brothers. According to statements made to Variety, Goyer will write, direct, and produce the film, which will use a college-aged Jay Garrick as the Flash. Credit: Newsarama Well, on one hand, The Flash is one of my favorite super-heroes, and David Goyer also wrote Batman Begins. On the other, the reason I like The Flash so much is Geoff Johns' approach at creating a legacy of speedsters. Wally West is also the version I prefer. We'll see what happens. Maybe the origin will involve hard water, and he can wear that Mercury helmet.

I stopped at "Your book Making The Game Triple H's Approach to a Better Body is not just a book about being fit, but it also is a book about your wrestling book" because my head didn't work anymore.

From Dark Horizons: Make all the double entendres you want about Ryan Reynolds flashing people or apparently being as quick as a flash. Whatever the case it now seems set, the DC comics character "The Flash" is definitely making a comeback and the man behind it wants his "Blade: Trinity" star in the part. Move over John Wesley Shipp it seems. In an interview with Moviehole, Director David Goyer confirmed that "Warner Bros, and they came to me and said ‘You did a great job on Batman [Goyer wrote the "Batman Begins" script], the next big one we want to get up and running is The Flash or Green Lantern – are you interested?’. I said I would love to do The Flash. I think there’s a lot of cinematic possibilities that nobodies ever done. I’m interested in really pushing it, and dealing with relativity, so near the end of the story he’s going to be like arriving before he left, and all sorts of weird and cute little stuff" Goyer confirmed its going to be a lot lighter than his work on "Batman" or "Blade" and will be using the character of Wally West. Casting wise "There’s nobody yet, I’m just writing it, but I would love to have Ryan [Reynolds] play Wally West". Reynolds himself was asked about the possibility to which he replied "If that were to come to fruition it would depend on a lot of things, but one of them wouldn’t involve auditioning. Wally West is a guy that likes to have a bit of fun in his life, he’s a little bit sarcastic, a little bit acerbic, but I’d love to inject a little bit more heart into Wally. I think it’d be really cool. I mean David explained the story to me –wow, Holy Shit. His rough story for The Flash is just fucking mind-boggling. I hesitate to say its one of the best script stories I’ve heard for a long, long time. So yeah, if it were to come to fruition I’d be very excited".

Where the hell is Van Helsing on that Bottom Ten?
-
Especially if they smelled like hotcakes! He has the technology...
-
Of course, True Lies was a remake/ripoff/whatever of some French film.

Oh, please. It's the Plan 9 of STAR WARS without an official release to factor in. In fact, it's pretty much the missing link of the entire saga. No matter how bad it is, people would still buy it. In fact, people do still buy it at every convention there is.
-
Oh, come on. That thing would sell like hotcakes.

I don't think Lucas was involved at all. At least, that's what I've heard. Lucas did some work on it, but he is uncredited. Writing credits (in alphabetical order) George Lucas uncredited Pat Proft Leonard Ripps Bruce Vilanch Rod Warren http://imdb.com/title/tt0193524/fullcredits#writers Aha. Thanks. But if I could add something, IMDb will sometimes give someone a writing credit for creating the characters. Not that I'm trying to stick up for Georgie Boy, I'm just saying...surely he wouldn't have let this special be an hour of commercialism. He has integrity. Damnit.

Two words: COME ON!

Law is rumored to play either The Joker or General Zod. I'd kill for a Jude Law Zod.
-
No. If anything, he looked like a skanky Billy Boyd.
-
I was reading an alternate rumor today with Ryan Reynolds in talks to play Wally West. What super hero isn't RR connected to this week, though?

Chappelle Show S3 and S2 DVD Release Delayed
Boner Kawanger replied to JasonX's topic in Television & Film
Thanks for the proof, GWN. For the record, Bravo had some show on about 2004 discussing DVD sales and how, at the current rate, Hollywood will look to make money off of DVDs instead of theatrical runs. But that always seemed obvious. -
Chappelle Show S3 and S2 DVD Release Delayed
Boner Kawanger replied to JasonX's topic in Television & Film
Well, Family Guy isn't the best selling TV DVD of all-time. The Simpsons: Season One was, but I'm pretty sure Chappelle did overtake it. -
Times WCW Title on the line on Nitro
Boner Kawanger replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Off the top of my head... Nash had two title matches against Sting in April of '98. I think Hogan/DDP from the summer of '97 was for the title. The War Games match Russo won. Booker T defended the title very often, most notably against Kanyon, Goldberg, and Lance Storm. Flair/Mysterio from Spring Break '99. Look up Nitros from the Russo era. They had the belt on the line all the time. -
WWE wrestlers accused of harassing Hooters patron
Boner Kawanger replied to SuperJerk's topic in The WWE Folder
So is it a good one or is it one of those where the waitresses are just "eh"? There's a...variety is the word I'm looking for. They're good at their job, though. I've never had to complain about anything. -
WWE wrestlers accused of harassing Hooters patron

I've been to that Hooters several times. It's only thirty minutes away from my house.
