My thoughts? No stores around here have the game to rent, so is it worth risking a blind purchase?

Fact: At my high school, the class of 2004's senior quote was "Git-R-Done". The valedictorian, who most everyone knows has applied for membership to the Ku Klux Klan, masterfully worked it into his speech.

What the hell consitiutes a "cameo"
Boner Kawanger replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
Theatrical version only. Observe: Two different versions of this film: one for the theatre, one for video. The difference is that in the theatrical version, it appears that the film begins to burn, however, in the video version, this segment is replaced by a segment which simulates a broken VCR machine. Credit: IMDb Anyhow, in the theatrical version, Hogan appears and threatens someone until the film returns. On home video, John Wayne does it. Both versions are on the DVD. -
I cannot see Jericho smoking. He seems like he's be against it.

I was looking forward to this, thinking they'd recreate episodes for one team to play through and offer rewards on a Character Apptitude point-based system, meaning whoever could come off as their character the best while getting the job done would win. In a shocking twist, the Gilligan could be put in by the producers to sabotage stuff. Instead, it was a Survivor ripoff.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Boner Kawanger replied to Exslade ZX's topic in Television & Film
I think Carrey looks to be the saving grace of the film. I'll probably see it this week if I can. But still...almost talking babies... -
Too soon to say, but I think he's great as of right now, with plenty of time to ascend.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Boner Kawanger replied to Exslade ZX's topic in Television & Film
Edited for this situation. I was excited to see the movie since Carrey was in it and playing these weird characters, and then there's a baby that talks with subtitles. I'm on the fence now. I'm sure it's a great movie for kids, but it just doesn't appeal to me. -
I also like the black on red the trailer is using. Reminds me of the cover for the latest printing of Year One.

If that was real, I'd buy it, since I have a dog named Ace.

Since it was part of a UK tour, I'd just assume it was the usual complimentary title change overseas. That's just a guess, though.

(I can't find proof this song came out this year, but I didn't hear it until this year) "I don't fight I don't argue I'll just hit that bitch with a bottle" This is the unofficial anthem for my core group of friends. Pity we hate the rest of the song.

Try that one again. Are you calling him on the spelling of his name? If so, he's correct in spelling it Gob. Try that one again. EDIT: Actually, I'm incorrect. When he said "one letter away," I thought he meant that "B" was one letter away from "D." Ugh. I didn't mean literally one letter. I meant it in the...philosophical sense. I noticed watching the Blind Lawyer arc that Maggie has a Cornballer in her kitchen when Tobias breaks in. There are a load of hidden jokes. Let's keep the thread going until Sunday by pointing them out. Downhome can probably provide screens if necessary.

When I took High School Publications, the teacher told a story about how it was important not to be mean when putting captions in the yearbook. "The picture was of a girl looking out the window. The caption was something like 'So-and-so thinks about all the dates she'll never have.'" I start laughing here. "She killed herself. Later in the same class, some girl was talking about the band at another school... "This one guy killed himself. He was buried in his band uniform and with his trombone." "I wonder why he killed himself?" asked another girl. I laugh. "Probably..." Everyone looks at me. "Oh, I was thinking of something else." I was so close to saying "Probably because he was buried in his band uniform." Why am I so mean?

Wake Up, Ron Burgandy, a movie made of all the unused footage from Anchorman, will be released the same day as Anchorman (Dec. 28th, I think). Van Helsing is the only movie I've seen in theaters that made me question life. On the ride home, my friends and I were trying to discuss everything wrong with it and I just started screaming in frustration.

Fav style of ring introductions.

The Fink's "...and....NEW..." is one of my favorite things in the history of wrestling. -
This is a OAO Raw Thread of QUESTIONS~! Has the one-note joke so far actually convinced people Foley is coming back? Will Jericho book a four-way match for the title? Why would Jericho book HHH in any sort title match? Seriously, that's really bothering me. Every other post in the other thread seems to think that Jericho is going to put HHH in a title match. Even if it is fair, why would Jericho do it? He hates HHH (storyline-wise). HHH has screwed the faces enough without ANY power. Tonight needs to be the night he finally gets his ultimate comeuppance. And no, a Finisher Party on him doesn't count. He needs to be outsmarted at every turn by Jericho for this angle to have worked. Won't ever happen. Or will it? INTRIGUE~!

Simply fantastic. Gob is one letter away from "god", which he happens to be. "I will become my father's body" was gold.

Question: Was Bret always going to drop the IC title to The Mountie at a house show and get the title back from Piper at WrestleMania VIII? If not, what was the original plan?
-
Plus, with Ventura as the guest ref, they didn't want him awarding the title to a heel.

Isn't this site a few years old?

It evokes Jim Lee's run on Batman for some reason. I love it. Now I have to plan a new place to hang my Batman '89 poster so I can fit this and the release poster in. Damn poster collection/lack of walls.

This is a cartoon show, not a film. A terrible cartoon with horrible designs and no real direction. Give me Batman: The Animated Series any day.
