I found it a little strange that a thread for this "big event" comic had yet to be posted. I hope I'm not the only one here that got the first issue. If you didn't know, IC is an eight-issue mini-series written by novelist Brad Meltzer, with art by Rags Morales and Mike Bair. It is a beautiful book, both art-wise and story-wise. It is the story of the Elongated Man's birthday. Every year, his beloved wife Sue sends him out on patrol so she can plan his surprise party. She is assisted by old members of the JLA and other heroes. Both are loved by the team. Sue is even an honorary member. And then she is murdered. The comic is supposed to be not about the mystery of who did it (Elongated Man and his team have their own suspect nailed they think), but why this person did what was done. I really hope I'm not the only person reading this.

Even if you're not reading IC at all, you should read this review. Spoilers are present. Interesting stuff. I'd already forgotten about Luthor at the end of of S/B #6.
