I have 3/4ths of the Torneo Cibernetico written with Villano in it, and it's this week.

The Chikara Young Lions Cup was pretty nifty; Max Boyer proved himself to possibly be the first IWS guy to have hope of living up to his hype.

ATTENTION~! (for August 10th)
Phoenix Fury Legdrop replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in Brandon Truitt
Thank you! The bout is now: TJ Burns, Zane Maxwell, Brock Auustin, Sly Sommers, Dark Predator, & Reject vs. James Blonde, Ultra Shago, Ultimo Villano, Faqu, Colombian Heat, & Otaku II -
Unlike last time, since I'm actually giving myself time and hopefully can get characters set away in time, this will happen. For my last hurrah in the OAOAST, I'm going to do a six-on-six version of the 2005 Match of the Year: the Torneo Cibernetica. I just need four heels and four faces to round out the teams, and hopefully the top guys in the match can be feuding or something to give it a reason to happen. So...please?

I need one more heel, if anyone has one to offer. -

Today's update: it's now six faces with four heels. So, if you have a heel character (preferably a tag team, but this beggar will not be a chooser), please help a brother out. Thank you. -

Thanks, guys...so far, it's four-on-two. I need two more faces and four more heels. I'm not trying to be a dick and hurry anyone, but if I don't get the spots filled by Friday morning, I'm going to revert to my singles match back-up, since I need to start writing soon to guarentee that it gets finished. -
So basically, just because of the disaster of last week and my upcoming work schedule leading into me leaving for college in August, I'm done full-time writing here. I have one last big match planned for a couple of weeks from now on HD, but nothing other than that. So, if anyone wants to use my characters for anything, feel free.

I feel so bad, but my match is off because of people pulling out/not answering PM's. I would have sent a message earlier, but I just got off work after being there since early-morning.

I thought Boy Meets World got kind of genius towards the end. They realized that ABC didn't give a shit about the show anymore, so they just got all tripped out with certain things (such as Eric). If they hadn't gone completely all the way with the weirdness, it would have sucked. But, they took the ball and ran.

I got five guys for that gauntlet; need four more.

Right click, copy & paste into browser, take out the http://hxxp part and just have www. Didn't have time enough to get this done for HeldDOWN~!, but it's an actual video hyping up "The Capturist" Zane Maxwell's debut at Battlebowl.

To explain the above post: Saint Andrew went insane after his monster Gibraltar was eliminated in the Battlebowl, leading to him petitioning the OAOAST Offices the next day, insanely begging for a match for this coming HeldDOWN~! to get his man right back to the top of the OAOAST rankings in one fell swoop. Since post-PPV editions normally don't have blockbuster matches due to the steam blown off on the paid shows, they agreed to the idea. So, Gibraltar will face a bunch of other guys (preferably 9) in a No-DQ Gauntlet bout, entitled "Gibraltar's Path of Destruction". Keep in mind that the match can continue if Gibraltar's eliminated, but his goal is to be #1 and finish the bout. Can he do it? (Note: it'd be nice if all the characters involved in eliminating Gibraltar out of Battlebowl were involved, but not necessary)

I know it's a week away, but I needed to get this up now because I need 9 upper-level guys for a match on more than a few days' notice.

Zane Maxwell Debut Hype Video
Phoenix Fury Legdrop replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in Brandon Truitt
Eh...hopefully when you see the first few matches I've written, you'll see that Zane's a quite a bit different from Bryan Danielson, the man in which his look is modeled after. But thanks, much appreciated. -
Zane Maxwell Debut Hype Video

Let me know if YSI takes this down soon; they're sucky about download limits. -
NAME: "The Capturist" Zane Maxwell AGE: 29 HEIGHT: 6'3 WEIGHT: Seventeen stone, six pounds (roughly 250 lbs.) HOMETOWN: Southampton, England ALIGNMENT: Heel WRESTLING STYLE: Pure, down-n-dirty European-style mat grappler with an excellent variety of pinning combinations ENTRANCE MUSIC: "The Ballad of Jim Jones" by Brian Jonestown Massacre ENTRANCE STYLE: Nothing to it, really...Zane walks down to the ring, adjusting the athletic tape on his wrist as he goes. Outside of an occasional threatening to backhand a heckling child, he ignores the audience while walking to the ring. He rubs off the bottoms of his boots on the apron, then enters the ring. ENTRANCE ATTIRE: Thin, long-sleeve warm-up jacket of just one color and a towel around his neck. RING ATTIRE: Crimson trunks, crimson boots, black kneepads, athletic tape on the wrists FINISHING HOLDS: He has one, but it's only in desperation, as his militia of pinning combinations and knockout European uppercut eliminate the usual need for a finishing hold... The Snake Vine: a hanging triangle choke on a standing opponent. SIGNATURE HOLDS: Unless you count "collar-and-elbow tie-ups" and "Greco-Roman knucklelocks" as signature holds, nope. BASIC MOVESET: Reaistic mat wrestling with a sprinkle of cocky...he's not afraid to get aggressive, but often tries backing off if it gets too much for him (which is rare). No manager Trademark Phrases/Gestures: The Steve Regal/Alex Shelley "one arm behind back, other holding up a peace sign" stance HISTORY: Zane got trained to wrestle at age seventeen, and quickly rose up the ranks of the British carnival leagues with a phenomenal amount of natural talent and poise. He's held six singles titles in Europe, all of which he held for exactly one year, then gave up to regain them because "he was getting bored". He's headed to the OAOAST to show the world that he's the best grappler in any country, and that professional wrestling's in need of a new revolution: the return of the sport to pro wrestling.

I'll volunteer.

Scratch that: Heat/Gibraltar WILL be in within the next hour!

Since the only reason anyone knows who Dave Coulier is anymore is from wacky early-90's television shows (and that Alanis Morisette song), I figure I'd post this here... Dave Coulier is doing a free stand-up set at the Vincennes University performing arts building on Sept. 16, and I'm totally going. My question is, has anyone seen his stand-up recently, and if so, is it any good? Is he a lewd fellow like fellow Full House castmate Bob Saget, or does he keep it clean for the kiddies?

I have to help run a booth at a small comic book convention in Indianapolis tomorrow, so my stuff's off, unless EWC wants to help with Gibraltar/Heat.

...And then there were eight. Thanks, guys! Could someone get me some stats on Massamoto & Ultimo? And what's the entrance/ramp set-up?
