    AngleSlam 2004

BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest at the third annual AngleSlam, is the Tables, Ladders & Chairs match for the OAOAST World Tag Team Championship! Introducing first... COLE It’s the first TLC match in the OAOAST in…er… CABOOSE Good work Mr. Historian. The last TLC match actually featured Mystery Eskimo against JINGUS in a TLC, barbed wire strap 30 minute Iron Man match. The previous TLC match to that saw Mystery Eskimo and JINGUS win the tag titles. Does that give you a clue as to which the team will win this one? COACH Er…GPX? CABOOSE Plus, don’t forget what town we’re in… CUE: “God Save The Queen” The London crowd comes to its feet to sing along with the National Anthem. As it reaches its climax, three men walk out onto the stage. The singing turns to BOOS as the music ends. Dan Black, T-Bod and Jivin’ J.R. walk down to the ring. Dan is wearing Union Jack trunks for the occasion, while T-Bod sports white tights with Old Glory & the Union Jack joined together on his backside, tanks and bombs falling on his pant legs, and JR with a cowboy outfit with tassels so long he almost trips over them several times on his way to the ring. CABOOSE What a poor reaction for Dan. This crowd has no class. We should have held this show in Derby. COLE Black’s spent the last year in the OAOAST perfecting the art of the evil bastard, and you expect this crowd to like him? CABOOSE While I'm experiencing roid rage -- who's the moron who refered to the Union Jack as the Union Jet? I got a call from the Prime Minister's office saying the P.M. had read a transcipt of the show online, and it refered to the Union Jack as the Union Jet. You Yanks wouldn't like it if we refered to the American Flag as "The Aggressor." I guess it's no coincidence Black T lost the tag titles that night. COACH Hey, we kick ass and ask questions later. If you pussies would follow our lead-- CABOOSE Our goverenment is! COACH I'm talkin' 'bout the people who don't want bloodshed, fool. “Quiet” hits up to accompany Black T down to the ring. BUFFER (CONT'D) being followed to the ring by the Farmer of Champions Jivin’ J.R., T.Bod and Dan Black, BLLLLLLLACK TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! J.R. holds down the top rope and T-Bod and Dan enter. Black grabs a mic as the music cuts. BLACK Good evening! I’d just like to say how great it is to be back home! BOOOO! BLACK I’d like to say that, but I can’t. This place hasn’t changed a bit. It’s still full of stupid, ignorant cockney arseholes who turn on their own at the first chance! Now if I don’t get a “Black T” chant right now, I’m going to get straight on the phone to Her Majesty, and personally arrange for each and everyone of you miserable idiots to spend the night in Bow Street prisons! Black T SUCK! Black T SUCK! Dan stomps the ring and throws the mic at the crowd! CABOOSE Well, he warned them. The Queen is a big Black T fan. These people are in a lot of trouble. T-Bod calms Dan down. Black rips off his Union Jack trunks to reveal his regular black and silver attire. T-Bod does the same, the back of his tights now with a cartoony Uncle Sam stomping the Union Jack. Dan spits on the flagged trunks and kicks them out of the ring to more BOOOS. COACH Dan Black turning his back on the English people! He’s not going to be popular out on the town tonight. CABOOSE Sure he will. After he and T-Bod beat the crap out of GPX and NNMX, they’ll be wearing the gold and kissing the London ladies all night long...the good-lookin' London ladies. Trust me, they're around. They stay hidden so the poor souls with yellow teeth do not bother them. You know Dan & I are the only two Brits with great teeth? COLE Yeah. It'll explain why you two verbally blow each other. BUFFER And…their opponents… In a world full of posers, phonies, and pure wannabees, there finally emerges a group which has come to set the record straight. so, all you suckers better recognize, ya heard can you say uhhh na na na na... BUFFER Johnny Jackson! Scotty Static! THE GLLLLLLLLLLLOBAL PARTY XCHANGE! The OAOAST’s favourite tag team bounce down to the ring to a huge ovation from the crowd. Slapping hands and throwing shapes, Johnny and Scotty slide into the ring and continue to dance, while Dan and T.Bod look on in disgust. CORNETTE Hey! Cut this crap! C’mon now, that’s enough! James E. Cornette walks out onto the stage, waving his tennis racket and succeeding in stopping the music. Giorgio Moroder's "Chase" turns the crowd's cheers into boos. CORNETTE Now, allow me to present the best damned tag team on the face of the planet. Their wit can cut deeper than a sword, and so handsome the girls of London are under a restraining order, they are THE OAOAST WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, "Sarcastic" Simon & "Narcissistic" Ned...THE NEEEEW! NEEEEEEEEEEW! MIDNIGHT EXXXXXXXXXXXXXXPRESS! Simon and Ned walk out, proudly displaying both sets of their tag team titles (the old tinted blue and newer fancy version), smirking at the fans who try and slap their hands on the way to the ring. JC follows them close behind, yelling at the crowd and the two tag teams in the ring. The NNMX jump into the ring, where referee Nick Patrick is waiting with a cable from the ceiling. He takes the tag titles, attaches them to the cable, and its winched up to its resting place above the ring. COACH That’s what its all about folks. The tag titles have never been so keenly fought over as they have been the past four months, and this match should determine who goes into the last quarter of the year with the power. While Black T, NNMX and GPX stare each other down, roadies appear from the back. A stack of steel chairs is scattered at ringside next to the announce table. On the opposite side, a pile of tables. Finally, three ladders, two regular size and one huge, huge monster of a ladder, are set up on the walk way. Our referee Nick Patrick takes a deep breathe and calls for the bell to start. * DING DING DING * The crowds heats up big time, as the 6 men circle. NNMX make a movement, and Black T bale to the outside. The crowd -- well, you can guess. COACH Dan and T-Bod seem to be checking on J.R.! CABOOSE I think he was overcome by the tension. What great guys they are! GPX and NNMX hang over the ropes, yelling at Black T, who are patting J.R. on the back. T-Bod gestures that they’ll be with them in a minute. NNMX shrug, and jump GPX, beating them down to the mat with forearms. Ned and Simon chose Scotty, the smallest man in this match, and execute a double team snap suplex. They follow up by putting the boots to Static, but Jackson is back up and knocks each of the NNMX down in turn with lariats and dropkicks. Predictably, J.R. is all better, and Black T are back in the ring. Dan grabs Johnny from behind and dunks him on his head with a German suplex, while Ned walks into a belly to belly suplex from T-Bod. Black T grab Scotty up and throw him out of the ring onto the scattered chairs! Static lands with a clatter, while “Sarcastic” Simon, temporarily outnumbered by Black T, slides out of the ring to consult with Jim Cornette. Dan and T-Bod turn their attention to the fallen Johnny Jackson, and look to be set for a double team power bomb attempt, but Scotty scrambles back into the ring, runs forward and leaps off Johnny’s bent back with a body press attempt! Black T easily catch Static however, and are ready to slam him down when Jackson executes a dropkick to Static’s back that propels him down and Black T to their backs! The NNMX re-group and take out GPX with stereo reverse DDTs! COLE It’s chaos out there, and the furniture’s not even involved yet! COACH There’s so much bad blood between these teams, I can’t even imagine the violence once they get their hands on the TLC. Black T spring back up, and start to slug it out with the NNMX. BT get the advantage, forcing NNMX back towards the ropes, where J.R. swats at their ankles with his fly swatter. Jim Cornette runs around, threatening J.R. with his tennis racket, and the master of Jive backs off, rubbing his man boobs, reminding James E. of his deadly Breastroke Sleeper. Black T clothesline Corny’s men out of the ring and follow them out to the floor. Dan takes Ned and slams him into the ring steps, while T-Bod presses Simon and then drops him throat first onto the guard rail! As Black T pick up the NNMX for more punishment, GPX pick themselves up in the ring. They survey the scene outside the ring, as the fans stomp their feet in encouragement. Johnny and Scotty throw themselves off the ropes and sprint towards BT and NNMX on the outside! Both men jump onto the top rope and springboard off- stereo shooting star presses onto the four men below! All six competitors are wiped out on the floor! HO-LY-SHIT! HO-LY-SHIT! COACH GPX with an amazing aerial onslaught! Will it gain them an advantage? Jivin’ J.R. helps his boys up, while Cornette does the same for the NNMX. CABOOSE Aww, poor GPX! No one to help them! AHAHAHAHA! COACH I don’t think they need the help of fat, old men. CABOOSE J.R. and JC are twice the men you two are! COLE Pfft, yeah right. CABOOSE I’m going to get that match booked, believe me. Like the IOC, the board of directors can be bought off. Black T grab up a steel chair each and charge at the NNMX, who slide into the ring to escape. Dan and T-Bod try to follow, but get stomped down as they enter. NNMX grab the chairs and prepare to administer some punishment to Black T, but JR pulls first Dan and then T-Bod back out the ring! The crowd boos the continued cowardice of the former tag champs, but cheer as NNMX shrug and just throw the chairs down onto Black T and JR anyway! NNMX laugh and point as Black T hold their heads, but GPX slide into the ring and attack. NNMX and GPX fight it out, with Johnny and Scotty gaining the advantage with dropkicks to their opponents, followed by stereo leg lariats and a pair of DDT’s. Scotty and Johnny look at each other, and head out of the ring to the ladders. They fold up one of the regular sized ladders and walk it to ringside. Jim Cornette gets in their face, telling them they’re worthless and will never be champs again. GPX respond with a running ladder to the face that leaves Corny flailing on the ring floor. Johnny and Scotty slide the ladder in the ring, where Ned and Simon send it back into their faces with sliding kicks! NNMX grab the ladder and set it up in the middle of the ring. Simon holds it steady while Ned starts to climb, but Dan Black is into the ring. He exchanges punches with Simon, and then rakes Singleton’s eyes to gain the advantage. Dan notes Ned almost at the top of the ladder and grabs Simon in- release Northern Lites Suplex into the ladder! Simon’s back hits steel and he slides to the mat, while the ladder is toppled and sends Ned over, crotching himself on the top rope! The fans give Dan a grudging “Oooo!” for the move, but cheer louder as GPX jump back into the ring. Luckily for Dan, T-Bod is there to back him up, and Black T and GPX go at it. COLE What a rivalry between these two teams! I’m sure this won’t be the last time these guys fight it out for the tag titles. CABOOSE It’s time Black T put those dancing punks in their places for good. The four men go into a chop fest, flaying each other with knife edged blows, until Dan and T-Bod lose patience and swing wildly, missing and eating dropkicks. GPX whip Dan into the corner and pick the ladder up on their shoulders. A running charge, and the top of the ladder smacks Dan in the jaw! GPX turn around, and T.Bod eats steel too! J.R. is frantic at ringside, and has to do a little moon walking to calm himself. GPX set the ladder up, and Scotty starts to climb, but Simon and Ned, just about recovered from their punishment at the hands of Black, rush over before he can get higher than a few steps. Simon forces Johnny back with a flurry of blows, while Ned tries to German suplex Scotty off the ladder! Static holds onto the ladder however, with the result that Ned drags Scotty and the ladder over so that they fall onto himself! Ned is squashed beneath Scotty and the ladder! Simon grabs Johnny and, without seeing his partner on the bottom of the pile, gives him a snap suplex onto the ladder! COLE Oh my god! What a pile up! COACH We got Ned, then Scotty, then the ladder, then Johnny! Ned’s got to be in big trouble! Simon at last notices his partners predicament, and drags GPX and the ladder off of him. Simon helps Ned up, and they go to set up the ladder once more. Scotty is bleeding from the mouth where the ladder fell on him, but gets to his feet to knock Ned down once more with a forearm, and then whip Simon into the corner. Scotty goes for a jumping stinger-style splash, but Simon moves and Static eats turnbuckle. Simon grabs him and tries for a Dragon suplex, but Static reverses out into a waistlock. Simon counters out of this to a hammerlock, and Scotty reverses in turn to his own hammerlock. T-Bod runs in with a chair and cracks both men over the head with it! COLE Well, I guess that’s what you get for trying to wrestle in this environment. T-Bod notices something out of the corner of his eye. WHAM! Ned bashes the living daylights out of T-Bod with a stiff chairshot! CABOOSE I don’t think it matters what you do, in this match you’re going to get hurt and hurt bad, T-Bod is busted open, as are Static and Simon. All 3 have rolled out of the ring. Standing is Ned, who goes to pick the ladder up once more, but Dan Black is to his feet and cuts him off by dropkicking the ladder into his chest! Ned staggers back into the corner and the ladder lies against him. Black teases a running splash, but breaks off half way and flips off the fans with a big sneer, who react predictably. For his trouble, Dan turns and takes a super kick from Johnny Jackson to the jaw! Jackson picks Dan up and whips him onto the ladder that’s lying on Ned in the corner! Dan bounces off hard and rolls out of the ring. The ladder falls, and Ned flops forward, landing face first on it! Johnny heads out of the ring and slides a table in, setting it up in the middle of the ring. Scotty Static crawls back into the ring, and the GPX unite to put Ned onto the table. Static climbs to the top turnbuckle, but T-Bod is up and shoves him off hard from the floor, and Static flies through the air- onto Ned and the table! Both men go through with impact, as Johnny holds his head in concern! Jackson doesn’t have any time to check on Scotty however, as he meets a SPEAR from Simon Singleton! "Sarcastic" Simon punches Johnny, while on the outside T-Bod and Dan Black regroup and consult with J.R.. With Static and Blanchard lying in the wreckage of the table, and Jackson and Simon brawling on the mat, Black T quickly slide into the ring and set up the ladder, and start to climb! Dan and T-Bod have a hand on the tag titles! They grasp at the belts! Jackson and Simon suddenly see what’s happening, and break away from each other, climbing the ladder after Black T, one on each side. Johnny slams a forearm shot into the back of T-Bod, grabs him round the neck-- and hits a diamond cutter off the ladder! COLE T-Bod may have a broken neck! CABOOSE How could Jackson do that to a legend like “The Body”? Black T shouldn’t have been made to compete in a match like this. T-Bod is pulled out of the ring once more by J.R.. Dan is still scrabbling for the titles, but Simon quickly cuts him off with a LOW BLOW! Dan’s face crumples in pain, and Simon climbs OVER Dan and tries to get the belts! Black, in severe pain, loses his grip on the ladder and falls to the mat. Jackson, having taken some impact from his cutter on T-Bod, pulls himself up and runs up the other side of the ladder to cut him off. Johnny and Simon exchange blows on top of the ladder, until Jackson gets the advantage and bounces Ned’s head off the top of the steel! Johnny tries to push Simon off, but he hangs on grimly. Dan Black crawls next to the ladder, and with an effort pushes it over with his legs! Singleton manages to jump clear but still hits the mat hard. Jackson is not so fortunate, and falls face first onto a turnbuckle! Dan, a vicious grimace on his face, grabs a hold of Singleton and locks on his HEART OF ICE (Crippler Crossface)! Simon shouts in pain in the hold, as Dan wrenches on his head and neck, and taps out! CABOOSE Yes! Simon taps! Good work from Black! COLE It means nothing, and you know it! COACH Black’s just getting revenge for Simon’s low blow! CABOOSE Not only that. If he knocks Simon out with this hold, its one less opponent to worry about. Indeed, Simon is starting to fade in the painful Heart of Ice. Dan laughs maniacally, but his good mood is halted when Ned drags himself out of the broken table and breaks up the hold with an elbow to the back of Dan’s neck. Blanchard grabs Dan and opens a chair up. Ned hoists Dan up and POWERBOMBS him back first onto the open seat of the chair! The chair is flattened, and Black looks to be out cold. Ned shoves him out of the ring with his boots and grabs and sets up two more chairs, then places the folded ladder so that it lies across them. Ned then grabs Scotty Static, just getting back to his feet, and brings him over to the structure he’s created. Blanchard slugs Static a few times, and then bends him over for another powerbomb! Johnny Jackson drags himself off the mat and saves Scotty, attacking from the side. The GPX work together, and set Ned up -- DOUBLE TEAM POWERBOMB THROUGH THE LADDER! The ladder caved in! That powerbomb left a huge bent mark from Ned's body. They won't be using that ladder to climb for the gold. GPX high-five and start to dance to a big pop. A roadie scoots in to clear out the broken ladder, table and chairs. GPX nod at each other and head out to the floor, where they grab the monster ladder. It’s almost too big for them to carry, and takes them some time to get under control. In this time, some shapes emerge from the back. Two very, very big shapes. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! COLE Oh boy…Hell’s Hitmen…. JINGUS and The Sadist stroll down to the ring, their faces still stained with dried blood, and still wearing those busted straitjackets. GPX see them coming, and settle for putting the ladder upright next to the ring. Johnny and Scotty manfully run and Hell’s Hitmen and start to pepper them with forearm shots, but JINGUS and Sadist easily overpower them. JINGUS kicks Johnny in the gut, flips him onto his shoulders and hits a DVD on the ramp! COACH Get some medics out there…Hell’s Hitmen are going to kill GPX! CABOOSE Well, they’re angry they never got their shot at GPX, having beaten them at Licence to Pin. Sadist has a hold of Scotty Static-- POWERBOMB onto the ramp! A mass of security runs out and gets between Hell’s Hitmen and the GPX. JINGUS and Sadist laugh mockingly, and walk slowly backstage. The crowd hurls abuse at them for quite probably spelling the end of the match for the GPX. Medics join the security and tend to GPX. In the ring, Dan Black is still badly hurt from the chair power bomb, while Ned is similarly incapacitated. The only men moving are T-Bod and Simon Singleton, who are dragging themselves to their feet and start to slug it out in the ring. Meanwhile, Jim Cornette has finally gotten to his feet following his earlier punishment. He surveys the scene, and sees J.R. dancing up a storm in support of T-Bod. JC’s face is thunder. COLE What’s up with Cornette? COACH I think something just flipped. Cornette runs around the ring and gets in J.R.’s face, followed by a SLAP to the Jivin’ ones portly features! J.R. looks shocked but then he begins trembling-- KICK! WHAM! JIVE-ANATOR! (World’s Worst Stunner) Jim falls to the floor, kinda hurt but barely. J.R. rips off his shirt to reveal... THE INCREDIBLE JIVIN' J.R.! He's returned. The Incredible Jivin' J.R. beats his flabby, green-painted chest. Using the superhero strength attained during his transformation from Jivin' J.R. to The Incredible Jivin' J.R., he reaches under the ring and pulls out… COACH OH MY GAWD! COLE LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT LADDER! COACH IT MUST BE AT LEAST ONE FOOT HIGH! TIJJ.R. (The Incredible Jivin' J.R.) sets up the ladder over the fallen Cornette and climbs up one step, two step-- and he’s at the top. The crowd goes wild as J.R. poses on top of the huge ladder! CABOOSE No way! He’ll kill both of them! J.R. (slapping his belly) J.R. crush! HE JUMPS OFF THE LADDER WITH A FLYING SPLASH! HOLY JIVE! HOLY JIVE! J.R.’s bulk CRUSHES Cornette, but the impact hurts J.R. too and he can’t move, leaving him just lying on his former friend like a beached whale, totally winded. T-Bod gains the advantage over Simon with a pair of arm drags and a DDT. T-Bod heads out of the ring and fetches the other regular sized ladder, sliding it into the ring and setting it up to climb. Simon is up before he can begin his ascent however, and T.Bod abandons the ladder to move over nails Simon with a lariat. T-Bod picks Singleton up and whips him off the ropes, going for an Out of Body Experience, but Simon slides down through T-Bods legs and comes up behind him. T-Bod turns, and Simon hits him with a swinging neck breaker. Simon goes to climb the ladder, but gets only halfway up before T-Bod rises and cuts him off, just pulling him down to the mat, poking him in the eye and gorilla pressing him up high. “The Body” carries Simon to the ropes and just throws him out of the ring. Alone in the square circle, T-Bod sets up the ladder and starts to climb to victory! But Ned Blanchard somehow picks himself up and chases after T-Bod. Ned tries to push the ladder over, but T-Bod just turns, grabs Ned and jumps off the ladder with a tornado DDT! COLE Amazing agility from T.Bod! CABOOSE The man must be the most under-rated wrestler in the business. He could -- no, should -- be World Champ. COACH Then why isn’t he? CABOOSE Because he and Dan Black have formed something special! An unbreakable alliance, and the best damn tag team ever in the OAOAST! You won’t see these guys doing the predictable “fall out and feud” thing. They’re too classy. T-Bod goes to climb the ladder once more, but as he reaches it Simon Singleton, unseen by T-Bod, has picked himself off the floor and climbed up to the top turnbuckle opposite “The Body”. He jumps off with a missile dropkick to the ladder, slamming it into T-Bod’s face! Outside the ring JR finally scrapes himself off Cornette and gets to his feet. T-Bod is knocked to the mat, stunned, as the ladder topples over and rests against the ropes. Simon picks himself up slowly and grabs T.Bod up. Singleton wraps his arms around T-Bod, going for a belly to back suplex, but T-Bod elbows out and tries for a Rude Awakening. Simon escapes and grabs a chair thrown to him by the semi-recovered Jim Cornette. JR follows suit, throwing a chair to T-Bod. Both men swing, and there’s a huge clash of steel on steel. Both men drops the chairs and hold their hands, hurting from the impact. T-Bod ignores the pain to slug away at Simon, who fights back with a flurry of chops. T-Bod cuts him off with a knee to the gut and whips Simon to the ropes. As he bounces back “The Body” lifts him up onto his shoulders and hits him with a Samoan Drop. “The Body” gets to his feet, and snakes his hips to jeers from the crowd. A chair is thrown at him. T-Bod catches it, a confused look on his face. The chair is kicked into his face by a leg lariat from Ned Blanchard! COLE Another high impact move to T-Bod! He’s got to be out of this match now! The NNMX must be favourites to retain the titles! Amazingly however, T-Bod is still moving! Blood gushes over his face, but T.Bod scrabbles at the feet of Ned and Simon as they stand over him. The NNMX shake their heads. Jim Cornette yells “End his career!” and slides a table into the ring. Ned and Simon lay the barely moving T-Bod on the wood, and then head out of the ring…starting to climb the huge ladder outside the ring, where GPX set it up, one after the other. Simon stands on the very top of the ladder, while Ned stands just underneath. COACH What are they going for here? COLE Oh my God…a Rocket Launcher? COACH From there? They must be a hundred feet in the air! CABOOSE Stop exaggerating. It's about 200 hundred feet. Ned takes a grip of Simon, and Simon jumps off the ladder with the boost from his partner, heading straight towards T.Bod on the table, falling fast as lightning! T-Bod is too out of it to escape! COLE “The Body” is going to be broken! But Dan Black pulls T-Bod away at the last minute! Ned goes through the table with a huge CRUNCH of flesh on wood! Black tries to help the groggy T-Bod to his feet, but Simon Singleton dashes down the ladder and into the ring, grabbing a chair as he does so. Dan is ready however, and nails Simon with a running enziguiri before he can even swing the chair. It falls to the floor beneath Black, who picks Simon up, underhooks the arms-- PITCH BLACK (Angel’s Wings) on to the chair! Simon’s face is mashed into the metal! COLE From a winning position to out cold, all because Cornette wanted the NNMX to deliver a spectacular blow to T-Bod! Indeed, Cornette is frantic at ringside at the sight of his boys out cold in the ring. Dan and T-Bod grab the unconscious NNMX and throw them out of the ring, onto Cornette! NNMX and manager meet in a pile of bodies. Black T nod at each other, and fetch the ladder that’s resting against the ropes. CABOOSE This has got to be it! Black T get back what’s rightfully theirs! The crowd starts up a G-P-X! chant, but Johnny and Scotty are being loaded onto stretchers. Dan and T.Bod slowly, wearily start to climb the ladder. Jivin’ J.R. busts out all kinds of dance moves in anticipation of Black T’s victory! Dan is almost at the top, reaching for the belts! Johnny Jackson gets off the stretcher, pushing away the medics who try and restrain him! Scotty Static follows suit! GPX run back down to the ring and slide into the ring. They climb up the ladder after Black T and slug them in the back, stopping their progress. Scotty Static climbs up over T-Bod and kicks him on the top of the head. Scotty tries to grab the titles, but T-Bod hangs onto his trunks. Scotty turns, kicks T-Bod again, and moves down to grapple him around the waist. With a huge effort, Static lifts the weakened T.Bod up for a... ...FLYING PILEDRIVER OFF THE LADDER! T-Bod's head bounces off the canvas, he clutches his neck. Scotty takes a minute to pick himself up, as Dan Black and Johnny exchange blows on top of the ladder. Static climbs up to rejoin his partner, and they double team Dan before trying to push him off the ladder. Black won’t go, however, so GPX try something different…standing either side of Dan, grabbing him across the chest… …and GPX jump off with a Spanish Fly (flipping Rock Bottom) off the top of the ladder! Dan Black just DETONATES with the canvas! The impact takes a lot out of GPX too, clutching their midsections on the mat. The crowd is going crazy for GPX, stomping their feet and pleading with them to climb the ladder to victory. Slowly, Johnny and Scotty scrape themselves off the mat, up the ladder to the top! They reach the titles-- but Jivin’ J.R. is in the ring, and tries to push the ladder over! COLE No! Get out of there JR! GPX won this fairly, overcoming all the odds! T-Bod, face bloodied, eyes glassy, rolls onto his back and yells something at JR. JR looks at him, nods, and releases the ladder. GPX grab both sets of belts! HUUUUUGE POP! * DING DING DING DING DING * BUFFER The winners of the match, and NEW OAOAST WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS- THE GLLLLLLLLLOBAL PAAAAAAAAAARTY XXXXXXXXXXXCHANGE~!~!~! GPX’s music rocks the house as Johnny and Scotty embrace on top of the ladder, proudly displaying the tag titles! J.R. tends to Dan and T-Bod as medics rush in to deal with both Black T and NNMX! COLE Was that just SPORTSMANSHIP we saw from T-Bod? CABOOSE He called J.R. off. Black T are all about class, and T-Bod just made a real classy move. But don’t worry. They’ll be back. Put them in a real match, 2 on 2 with normal rules, and no one can beat Black T. COACH It’s been carnage out there. I don’t know if any of these men will be in action again any time soon. COLE That’s how important these tag titles have become, Coach. I can’t help but feel even greater challenges are waiting for the GPX just around the corner! CABOOSE Not to mention Hell’s Hitmen… GPX climb down the ladder, and exit the ring. The crowd give them a huge ovation, and even clap Black T and NNMX as they are helped out by various ring crew and medics. COLE GPX have done it. They are now the undisputed OAOAST tag team champions. The infamous tinted blue belts can now rest in peace. Big props to all the teams.

COACH ...I agree Cole, once you get past the pollution and crime, London really is a BEAUTIFUL city. COLE Uhm...you realise Pay Per Views don't have commercial breaks, right? COACH Yeah, sure I do. COLE ... COACH So, what's next? COLE You're unbelievable. COACH Damn straight. COLE ...let's go backstage, where I think Josh Matthews is standing by with Leon Rodez. Josh? J MATH Yo, J Math in the house...with my man Leon Rodez. Despite being ahead of one of the most important matches in his career, a large smile adorns Leon Rodez's face as he steps into shot, patting Matthews on the back and totally ignoring his attempts for a high-five. J MATH ...Word! Leon, you've got to be pretty whacked ahead this big match tonight, eh? RODEZ Not really. I mean, it's policy not to get 'whacked' before a big match. J MATH ...Word! But seriously, you've got the butterflies fluttering around in your stomach? Needing constant trips to the restroom. You've gotta be nervous right. I mean, no disrespect playa, but you're in the ring...with Drek...Stone. RODEZ ...yeah. J MATH Leon, Drek Stone is well known for being in some of the most brutal matches in this company's recent history. You know, he's one tough sunnuva gun. You've got to be a little worried, surely? RODEZ Not really. Rodez laughs, thus confirming that he indeed isn't worried. RODEZ I mean, how can I feel worried in an atmosphere like this Josh? It's like...I dunno, it's like I'm on holiday. You know, being here in merry old England has been a great escape for me and has really got rid of all the tensions I may have had. The whole trip has been a great time, really. I mean, yeah, the plane trip here was a little rough. Especially when me and some of the other guys tried to cut off Randy Savage's mullet...damn does that guy pack a kick. He almost snapped my leg like...well, like a Slim Jim. Dig It? J MATH ...Word! RODEZ And sure, I didn't particularly appreciate being given a seat next to that Chavo Guerrero guy. J MATH You mean Guapo Guerrero, right? RODEZ No, Chavo Guerrero. We kidnapped him, remember? J MATH ...Word! RODEZ But it wasn't all bad. I mean, the chick on the plane gave me some 'first class' treatment. And I'll be damned if she didn't know how to make an awesome sandwich! Seriously...beef, mustard, ketchup...the works! And ever since we got here, I've been having a great time here in ENGLAND! *cheap pop* RODEZ We saw thus funny fuzzy hat guys who aren't allowed to speak. That was great. Standing there for hours, waiting for them to move. And the crazy thing is...they didn't. Not once. I was there seven hours and the guard I was watching didn't flinch once. Well, he gave me an odd look a couple of times. But those guys have some stamina. I went on that London Eye dealy... *cheap pop* RODEZ Yeah, that was great. Not as good as, say, an ACTUAL ferris wheel...or any ride that goes above 2 miles an hour. But it was cool, nonetheless. Of course, I got stuck with Malibu and his lady in a pod so, of course, that was awkward. J MATH Yeah, I can imagine. I've played gooseberry a couple of times in my life myself, believe it or not. RODEZ Nah, it wasn't that. See, Zack wanted to take her back to his hotel room. Only trouble was, he needed an extra dollar twenty for the night. "RRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!" COLE Oh my. RODEZ ...and I had no spare change on me, so...I kinda felt bad. J MATH ...erm...Word? RODEZ Yeah, it's been a great few days. But, all the fun and games I've been having these past few days has come to an end. The time for chilling is gone! As of this moment, it's time to get serious up in here. See, I may not be worried about tonight. But you can bet your bottom dollar that I am READY for tonight. Drek Stone. I know you're very well respected around these parts, within this company. Former Italian Champion and all that. You were right on HeldDOWN, when you said I was a kid compared to you. Yeah, I'm a young...verile guy. But Drek, if you think that because I'm younger than you I'm gonna be a push over, then you're dead wrong 'mang'. Sure, I haven't been Italian Champion or any type of champion for that matter. Only one PPV appearance under my belt before tonight. Never been in a Hell In A Cell Match. Haven't wrestled as many matches as you have. But underestimate me at your peril Stone. See tonight, it's the hottest night of the summer...we're in London, England... *cheap pop* RODEZ ...where we've got the hottest women in the world waiting to get a piece of the New Age Love Machine! And tonight, I'm gonna be hotter than a fat jogger's thigh! See, this isn't about class, this isn't about age. This about who's the better man. You're like Gucci...Italian, expensive and you have a reputation that proceeds you. But me...I'm like silk. I'm dependable. Good looking. Ever so slightly impressive. And I FEEEEEEEEEELLLLL GOOD! Yeah...I'm like silk. Only...smoother. Rodez grins as J Math apparantly doesn't get the joke, with the only response he can think of being 'Word', again. RODEZ So you'd damn well better be ready Drek Stone because tonight, here at AngleSlam...you and the world are going to get shocked, one more time, by Leon Rodez. Rodez gives the immortal J Math another pat on the back before flashing a smile towards the camera, turning away and storming off down the hallway. *DUN DUN DUN DUNNA, DUN DUN DUNNA* Across a river, over a bunch of mountains, through fields, sweeping past trees and bushes, hovering over the skyline of New York City, the OAOAST logo flies through the air...before sweeping down, brushing past an elderly man who seems understandably shocked to see six over-sized letters fly past him. The logo continues going, nearing a house...which luckily, a woman is leaving, meaning the logo can sweep through the open door, continuing on down the hallfway and into the living room where a young kid is sat on his computer. It sweeps past him, hitting the computer...which explodes with a flash, lighting up much to the kid shock and delight. "THE OAOAST...WHAT THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD IS READING~!" COLE Well, I guess you could say that we know something about humiliation...perhaps, more than our fair share even. CABOOSE You can say that again. COLE This past Thursday on HeldDOWN~! though, it was Drek Stone who was victim to some humiliation. Drek of course cost Leon Rodez his match against Rick Edwards, and therefore the X-Division Championship, a couple of weeks ago...but revenge was sweet for Leon. Some powder in the eyes, courtesy of a gimmicked pizza box, and a tiger driver later and Drek Stone was left in the ring...humiliated. Tonight however, his humiliation may be duplicated here tonight as he takes on Leon Rodez one on one. Could Drek Stone's ego TAKE a loss to a youngster like Rodez, especially on the back of losing his Italian Championship little more than a month ago? COACH Well, with all due respect, it ain't gonna happen. Drek is too experienced, too ruthless...too good. Not to mention that he's pissed off after what happened on HeldDOWN~! CABOOSE And rightfully so! You'd be pissed off too, if some goof came out insulting your homeland...and then threw powder in your face. COLE Technically he didn't thro... CABOOSE It's the same basic thing Cole. *DING DING* BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, this following contest is scheduled for one fall and it has a twenty minute time-limit. CUE "Woke Up This Morning" by A3 "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The crowd instantly begin jeering as Drek Stone bursts through the curtains, with a furious look on his face. Gone are the usual poses and smirks as tonight he's all business. Storming down the aisle, Drek notices one fan holding a pizza box in the air mockingly and angrily flips him off, reaching down and grabbing the pizza box. Quickly Drek crushes the box and tosses it back down at the fan, before walking right past him. BUFFER Introducing first at this time. From Naples, Italy...but hailing from Brooklyn, New York. He stands six foot five and weighs two hundred and thirty five pounds. The former OAOAST Italian Champion. He is "RECKLESS"... DRRREEEEEEEEEEEEK STOOOOOOONNEEEEEEEE!!! The crowd jeer again, as Stone enters the ring...glaring at referee Charles Robinson, before turning back to the ailseway and looking towards the curtain with a distinctly sour look on his face. CABOOSE Aw man, would you look at that. If I were Leon Rodez, I'd consider early retirement right about now. COLE Well, that's why Leon Rodez is a rising star and you're a commentator. CABOOSE Phff, what the hell does that make you!?! COLE Hey, I'm still undefeated! Impatiently Stone begins to strum his fingers across the top rope, hopping around on the spot. In the meantime, referee Robinson walks over and looks to check Drek for any consealed weapons. He almost gets a consealed right hand though and quickly backs away. CUE "You Sexy Thing" by Hot Chocolate Finally the music hits and Drek nods a little more happily, as the crowd suddenly erupt. COLE Would you listen to this reaction from the London crowd here? CABOOSE ...dumb Brits. "I believe in miracles... Where ya from? You sexy thing (You sexy thing, you) I believe in miracles... Since ya came alooooong You sexy thing (WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!)" With the crowd buzzing, Leon Rodez finally emerges through the curtain with his arms held high in the air...followed out by a rather large Union Jack flag. BUFFER And...being accompanied to the ring by "The Legend Killer", DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANY WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLIIIIIIIAAAAAMMMMMSSSSSSS!!!! "YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" BUFFER From Grand Rapids, Michigan. He stands five feet ten inches and weighs two hundred and eight, and three quarter pounds! He is the "NEW Age Love Machine"..."SILKY SMOOTH" LEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOONN RRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOODEEEEEEZZZZZZ!!! "YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!" Rodez, smiling broadly from ear to ear, reaches the end of the rampway and within reach of Drek who angrily tries to grab him from over the ropes. Wisely Leon takes a back-step however, before threatening to set Williams on Drek. But Drek is so angry that he could care less, encouraging Williams to bring it on. Which, wouldn't be a wise move. Williams isn't here to fight though and just laughs it off, as referee Robinson moves Drek back to allow Rodez into the ring. CABOOSE So, explain again why the boxing guy is out here? COACH We're in London. CABOOSE Yeah... COACH And he's from London. CABOOSE So's The Queen. I don't see her walking out her flying the flag and threatening to kick Drek Stone's ass! COLE Yes, but Williams is a big wrestling fan. CABOOSE What the hell's that got to do with Drek Stone versus Leon Rodez? What next? Robbie Williams coming out here with Crystal. COACH Who? CABOOSE Crystal. The chick in the main event? COACH No, the guy. CABOOSE Well...I had heard rumours about that, but I didn't really want to say anything... COLE Oh, would you stop! Rodez finally enters the ring, more than a little cautiously, as Williams begins to walk off to the back and getting more pops from the crowd. Meanwhile, Charlesson continues to make sure Drek doesn't jump Rodez before the bell...giving up on checking for weapons and simply calling for the match to begin. *DING DING DING!* Which it does. Immediately Drek storms out of his corner with the same look of anger etched on his face. Rodez is meanwhile still smiling, although maybe not for long, as Drek strides over and starts to put the badmouth on Rodez. Ignoring the words, Rodez keeps on smiling...until Drek smashes him in the face with a right hand! Down goes Rodez, and suddenly Drek explodes into life with a series of stomps to the fallen opponent. Desperatly Leon tries to cover up as Drek fires boot after boot down, until Robinson moves in to pull Drek away. Angrily Stone shoves the referee away and goes back after Rodez, who reaches and grabs Drek by the tights and pulls him forward, out of the ring and onto the rampway. COLE Drek Stone, starting as we expected him to. CABOOSE Phff, this is nothing. Just wait. Pulling himself up, Drek reaches over the ropes to grab Rodez...but takes an uppercut. Another staggers him back, further down the ramp. Meanwhile Rodez shakes off some early cobwebs and exits the ring, looking to go after Drek. Drek suddenly charges though, clotheslining Leon back over the ropes and into the ring! "LET'S GO LEON!" *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP!* "LET'S GO LEON!" *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP* Drek re-enters the ring and grabs Leon, hitting a stiff forearm. Another forearm follows before Drek pulls Leon up, pushing him back into the ropes and nailing a big right hand. Now Leon looks in trouble, as Drek goes to the ribs with a punch and then to the jaw with a back elbow. Weakly Leon fires a knee back, but soon after takes another punch and then gets whipped into the ropes. Rebounding, Leon ducks his head early. Too early though, as Stone reads his intentions and leaves a knee up for Rodez to charge into! Flipping through the air, Rodez lands hard and Drek scrambles over to make a cover... ..NO! It's a choke instead! "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FI..." Drek breaks on five, only to go right back to the blatant choke. "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FIV..." Again Drek breaks just in time...only this time, he decides to go jump to his feet and fire off with some more stomps. CABOOSE See!?! Drek is a dangerous, dangerous man. Especially when provoked. Letting up on the stomps, Drek takes a moment to pose for the booing crowd while Rodez fights to his feet. Once he gets there, Drek quickly scoots behind Rodez and just CLUBS him across the shoulder blades! Rodez drops to his knees, but gets quickly dragged back up by the hair and clubbed again. Rodez drops, only to get pulled up a second time. This time though, Drek shows he can wrestle as well as fight, by hitting a textbook back suplex. Leon hits hard, but has little time for the pain to set in before Drek rolls to his side and mounts Rodez to hit some vicious right hands. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" COLE Well, you may be right 'Boose. This is turning into nothing more than a brawl. CABOOSE Well hey, I know Drek well. I also know what happens when people make him angry. If Rodez was smart, he'd have NEVER insulted Drek. Finally Drek lets up, getting up off of Rodez and backing off the ropes. Leon is too hurt to move out of the way, which allows Stone to take his time and drop a big knee across the sternum. Drek thinks about making a cover...but shakes his head and wags his finger, before pulling Rodez up. However that's a mistake, as Leon manages to armdrag Stone over! Stone rolls through and runs back over, only for Rodez to hit a second armdrag! Still Drek gets up, shocked and dis-orientated, but still he runs back towards Rodez... ...who ducks a clothesline attempts. Drek runs on, hitting the ropes and coming back to be met with a beautiful standing dropkick! Drek goes down like a sack of potatoes, as meanwhile Rodez pops right back up and is FIRING UP~! "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" The crowd explode, as Rodez finds the energy to charge off the ropes, running straight at the grounded Drek and tumbling into the air. But Drek rolls out of the way of the running swanton, causing Rodez to crash harmlessly (at least for Drek) into the canvas. Rodez struggles right back up to his feet, as Drek charges in and forces Leon back into the ring ropes. Using their spring, Drek launches Rodez across the ring, waiting for him to come back before hitting a beautiful powerslam! CABOOSE Ha HA! Come on Drek! Show this kid what you're about! COACH Impartial as ever, eh 'Boose? CABOOSE Shut up. COACH ...sure thing. With Rodez down, Stone takes a moment to check his hair is still in place...which it seemingly is, as Drek soon turns away to go back on the offensive. Picking Leon up, Drek takes his sweet time over stiffing him with another forearm shot before whipping Leon into the corner. Rodez hits the buckles hard, staggering out a step. But Drek is quickly following in and crushes Rodez back into the corner with a big avalanche. And quickly, Drek follows that up with a hard knee to the breadbasket. The effects of the match are telling on Rodez as he slumps back into the turnbuckles, gasping for air... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOOOOO!" ...which is knocked out of him with a stinging knfiedge chop. *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOOOOO!" ...and another. *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOOOOO!" ...and a THIRD! COLE Leon Rodez, who favours the quicker style...he's not getting that chance tonight. It's ALL Drek Stone. COACH Totally. Drek caught him almost right from the bell. Maybe...that pizza box thing wasn't a good idea after all. Drek is almost snarling, his teeth gritted together as he glares at Rodez who is still struggling to stay up. A big forearm across the chest doesn't help his cause, dropping him to his knees in front of Drek. With no second though, Drek quickly thrusts his knee forward, SLAMMING it into Rodez's jaw ruthlessly...not once but twice, before Rodez finally collapses flat on his face. "DREK SUCKS! DREK SUCKS! DREK SUCKS!" With the crowd's chants ringing through his ears, Drek pulls Rodez up from the mat and shoves him right back into the corner where he nails another forearm. Rodez begins to collapse back towards the mat, but Drek catches him in his arms and immediately throws him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. More boos fill the air, as Drek finally manages a wry smile...before crawling over to Leon, and making a relaxed cover... ONE! TWO! DREK PULLS RODEZ UP! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" CABOOSE Oh no...it ain't gonna be that easy. Not tonight. COLE That may have been a mistake there. CABOOSE Michael...this kid is out on his feet. With Rodez at his beck and call, Drek slowly drags Rodez up to his feet. Without the energy to stand by himself, Rodez slumps into Drek who just as quickly shoves him off, into the ropes. The ropes bounce Leon back and he stumbles forward. Meanwhile Drek runs past Leon, hitting the ropes himself and dropping down with a chopblock that WRENCHES Leon's knee! With a wail of pain he grabs his knee, tumbling to the mat...as Drek smiles. COLE Right to the surgically repaired knee! What a callous move! CABOOSE But a brilliant move. COLE Well...if you say so. Looking right at the knee, Drek moves in and stomps down on the knee...and again..and again, and again and again...each stomp bringing out a cry of pain from The New Age Love Machine. Seeing enough, Charles Robinson tries to move Drek back as the camera gets a close up on Rodez's face, screwed up in agony. Drek meanwhile barges past Robinson, grabbing Rodez's leg and draping it over the bottom rope. Quickly he leaps into the air, before bringing down all his body weight on the knee! The leg remains draped though, allowing Stone to do the exact same thing again. This time, Rodez tries to roll out of the ring, but can't do so in time and his leg gets bent violently again. "DREK SUCKS! DREK SUCKS! DREK SUCKS!" Pulling Rodez away from the ropes, Drek grabs the damaged right leg again. Rodez tries his best to get away, but Drek steps over the leg and rolls forward, bringing the leg with him and almost pulling it away from Rodez's hip! Acrobatically Drek rolls through the move, straight into a pose for the chanting London crowd, who don't much appreciate it. In the meantime, Rodez is clutching his knee desperatly, with Robinson right by his side asking him if he wants to quit. But again over barges Drek, shoving Robinson to the side and kicking Leon in the kneecap. Leon wails and Drek kicks him again, clearly enjoying his contribution to AngleSlam. "DREK'S A WAN - KER!" *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP* "DREK'S A WAN - KER!" *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP* COLE Referee Robinson may have to think about stopping this... CABOOSE Why? COLE Well, Rodez has a surgically repaired knee and it's being torn apart here. CABOOSE If he can't take the pain, he shouldn't be in the ring. In desperation more than anything, Leon catches Drek in the ankle with a left legged kick. But Drek shrugs that off and lines up the right leg, dropping a savage elbow (OOOOHHHH YEEEEEAAAHHHHH~!) into the knee. Again, Rodez wails in pain but doesn't want to give up, as Drek starts wrenching away at the leg. DREK C'mon Leon! Again Drek wrenches the knee. DREK C'mon...tell me a joke Leon. Another wrench, another wail. DREK Make a joke funny boy! C'mon...make fun of me now! Again a wrench on the knee from Drek! DREK Not so f*****g funny NOW, are we!?! Suddenly Drek stands up, picking the leg up with him. And quick as a flash, Drek whips around Rodez's leg...AND LOCKS HIM IN THE FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK!!! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" CABOOSE Okay...now we can ring the bell. COACH I agree. This kid has had enough. Turn off the oven, this kid's done! As soon as the hold is slapped in, Rodez cries out in agonising pain and immediately Charles Robinson is down to check for a submission. The fans are a little stunned at how easily Drek has picked off Rodez and seem a little stunned, as he cynches up the hold again to another yelp from Rodez. There seems no escape for Rodez, and he seems in so much pain. But he shakes his head furiously, not giving up, not quitting. COLE Leon Rodez is hanging on here! CABOOSE Then he must have rocks in his head! This isn't just a match against Drek Stone at Angle Slam he's risking losing. It's the rest of his career! Gritting his teeth through the pain, Rodez starts pumping his fists in the air looking for support from the crowd... "LEON! LEON! LEON! LEON! LEON!" ...which he begins to get! Drek seems a little surprised to see Rodez fighting the hold, but all the same a sick smile adorns his face as he presses up onto his hands in an attempt to further aggravate the hold. All Rodez can do is bite his lip and hang on, hoping for a reprieve. Or, hope to turn the hold. Which he is seemingly trying to do, much to Drek's surprise! The crowd see the fight attempt, getting right behind Leon as he slowly but surely starts to try and manuever his body towards the left. But as he does, Drek reaches back and grabs a hold of the bottom rope...stopping Leon's momentum and adding increased pressure to the hold!! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" COLE Now, why the hell does he need to do that!?! Charles Robinson is oblivious, as Drek continues to cling onto the rope...too busy asking Leon if he wants to quit, which he is increasingly on the verge of doing. Eventually Robinson turns to Drek though, seeing the hold of the ropes JUST before Drek releases the rope...and orders him to break the hold! Drek shakes his head 'No', but Robinson threatens him with a DQ, so Drek does breaks the hold. CABOOSE What the hell is this referee doing!?! COLE Uhm...his job? CABOOSE Drek let go of the ropes, so why should the referee make him break the hold? COLE ...have you ever read a wresting rule book. CABOOSE No. Why would I need to? Getting up to his feet, Drek gets right up in Robinson's face and stats to yell at him, clearly unhappy with his refereeing. Robinson however reminds Drek of who he is by holding his referee's shirt out. Drek flips Robinson off though. But suddenly, Rodez pulls Drek down and catches him in something vaguely resembling a schoolboy roll-up... ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! "OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Drek is up quickly and he stomps the knee again, stopping Rodez again. Grabbing the knee Drek glares over at Robinson, before whipping around the leg for another figure four. But Rodez manages to plant his free foot into the ass of the former Italian Champion and push him off. Heading for the turnbuckles, Drek sees the top one and instinctively ducks his head... *SMACK!* ...which causes him to run shoulder-first into the ring post! COACH DAYYAM~! COLE That may be a turning point! Out staggers Drek as Rodez pulls himself gingerly up to his feet, or rather foot, grabbing Drek and throwing him into the turnbuckles. Drek hits them almost as hard as he hits the post, stumbling backwards and getting caught on the way with a diving clothesline from the one legged Rodez, who quickly makes a cover... ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Despite the obvious pain he's in, the gutsy kid once again pulls himself to his feet. Meanwhile, Drek is slowly getting up as well. Rodez hops over to him and hits a punch as best possible. Drek dives forward and goes for the knee, but Leon manages to hurdle him, causing Drek to fall forward flat on his face. Quickly he gets back up, but Rodez is there to meet him... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOOOOO!" ...with a stinging knifedge chop! Drek stumbles back a step as Rodez tries to put some bodyweight on his leg. In that moment of being unprepared, Drek charges and looks to hit a short clothesline. However, Leon ducks it. Drek stops and turns... *SLAP!* "WHOOOOOOOOO!" ...and there's another chop! COLE What guts from this kid! COACH ...he's only hitting someone with chops. Not exactly gonna get him the Purple Cross. CABOOSE Depends who he's chopping. With Drek pausing momentarily, Leon goes right for the breadbasket with a right hand to double Drek over...before pulling him in and double underhooking both of Drek's arms! The crowd rise to their feet as Rodez turns his head, nodding to the Londoners in attendance... ...BUT HE CAN'T LIFT DREK! His knee gives way! With a grimace Leon releases the double underhook and takes a moment to tend to his knee, doubling over to do so. But sure enough, that allows Drek to lunge forward and drop an elbow between Leon's shoulder blades. He hits the mat face first, as Drek takes a moment to shake off his cobwebs. Leon uses the ropes to pull himself up, while Drek grabs him and hits a big forearm. Rodez does his best to shake off the effects, but a second forearm rocks him...before Drek pulls him in, looking for a Side Effect. Rodez is privy to it however and fires off instantanious elbows to the side of the head, until Drek releases the hold he has on Leon...only to knee him in the gut, before grabbing on a front facelock. CABOOSE StoneCutter! StoneCutter! No! Leon backdrops out of the attempted StoneCutter! "YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Shocked, Drek gets back to his feet as Leon limps over and hits as much of a clothesline as his leg will allow...only staggering Drek backwards. Another clothesline staggers him further back, near the ropes. Suddenly, Leon grabs him and sends Drek across the ring and to the ropes. Coming back, Drek locks his hands together double axe handle style and charges straight at Leon. But he drops to one knee and leaves his fist extended, catching Drek in the gut with it. Drek now drops to one knee, as Rodez pulls himself back up...and lunges towards Drek, catching him in the jaw with a left-legged shining wizard! COLE Shining wizard! That beat Chris Bryte! COACH But I think Rodez landed on his knee... Coach, for once, is right as Leon did indeed land on his right knee. But despite the pain that gives him, Leon is able to drop an arm over Drek relatively quickly for a pinfall attempt... ONE! TWO! TH... NOOO!!! CABOOSE He kicked out! Of course he kicked out! Both men pull themselves up slowly, the crowd willing Leon on. And he feeds off of that support by stepping forward and nailing a Liger-esque palm strike! Drek hits the mat hard but gets right back up, only to be taken right back down with a sunset flip... ONE! TWO! NO! Drek rolls through, to his feet. Up to his feet comes Rodez too, as Drek charges in but gets caught by Rodez who tries to wrap Drek in a sleeperhold. However Drek manages to spin behind Rodez and lock on a full nelson, ready for The Recker. Rodez breaks out of it quickly though, dropping to the mat looking for an inside cradle...but Drek sits into it... ONE! TWO! DREK GRABS THE ROPES... THREEEEEE! COLE What!?! CABOOSE It's OVER! *DING DING DING!* The fans cannot believe it, as Drek releases his cradle and begins to celebrate his victory! Rodez is not hurt though and lunges for Drek, who rolls quickly out of the ring with a huge grin on his face. BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner of the match... DREEEEEEK STOOOOONEEEEEEE!!! Shrugging his shoulders, Drek is willing to accept the victory...quick as it was, he done his damage. And now, Drek is more than happy to walk off the down the ramp in celebration. Meanwhile, Rodez looks up and complains to Robinson, but gets nothing but a conformation of the result. COLE I hate to say this on an OAOAST show, but what a COP-OUT! Drek Stone stole the victory from out of nowhere. CABOOSE Ah, it was just justice. Drek had Leon beat with the figure-four anyway, so really, all's well that ends well. Congratulations to Drek for a comprehensive victory. COLE Congratulations!?! After that!?! CABOOSE He won, didn't he? That's all that matters. Still unable to believe the result, Leon pounds the mat a couple of times before going back to tending to his knee. Meanwhile, Drek reaches the curtain and with a last smug grin leaves back through the curtains, with a victory to his name again.

    AngleSlam 2004

COACH It's that time again, time for our next match! COLE This has been brewing for awhile. Back when IntenseZone was its own show, Stephen Joseph and Mad Cappa were the best of friends, looking out for each other. Then Stephen Joseph was injured at the hands of Dan Black and Mad Cappa went on to beat Tha Puerto Rican and eventually Drek Stone. CABOOSE But Popick hates it when someone steals his spotlight. After IntenseZone merged with HeldDown, the IntenseZone wrestlers felt slighted. Popick used these feelings to form a new supergroup, the Inten5e. COACH But that group didn't last long before the first fracture occured. Cappa had just come off a personal high by beating Drek Stone, and soon he found himself doing things that just weren't him, and the fans let him know that they didn't like him anymore COLE But to Cappa, it is about the fans. Two weeks ago Cappa stood up to Stephen Joseph, and so now at AngleMania, these two face off in a one on one match, a match Stephen Joseph made for the "Italian" Championship just last Thursday. CABOOSE Even worse Cole. If Cappa wins this match tonight, he's freed from his obligation to Inten5e. But if he loses, he's forcibly back in the fold and under Popick's command. COACH And you have to remember, this is one unfair fight, because you know that T-Bod, Dan Black, and Tha Puerto Rican are backstage right now, watching. COLE Let's pull it to the ring. "Let Me Clear My Throat!" and the CHAMP is here tonight. The Mad Cappa, wearing his title belt proudly around his waist, emerges from behind the entrance curtain. Cappa shakes it down the ramp and is slapping the fans' hands yet again, as the chant out CAP-PA. COACH Cappa looks ready to go tonight. Let's hope he brought his A game. BUFFER Ladies and Gentleman, the reigning, and defending, Italian Champion, The Mad Cappa! Capster slides into the ring and jaunts to the closest turnbuckle, PYRO~! shooting off the ringposts. Then the music stops, the pyro stops, and the lights dim. "Aww Naww, Hell Naww" Y'all up and done it, and Stephen Joseph is here tonight to provide the consequences. He walks down not clad in his normal dark suit and tie, but with black atheletic pants and a Black T-Shirt. He's dyed one streak of his black hair fire red, and he looks to have gone back closer to his cruiserweight...weight. COLE Dangerous for Stephen to be out here, just months removed from Dan Black's vicious assault on his neck. And yet Stephen wears Dan's tag team T-shirt. CABOOSE It's probably because of Dan's partner, T-Bod. If you remember, ever since the mutual love fest of December 2002, those two have been as thick as thieves in OAOAST Corporate. BUFFER And introducing the Challenger, two-time former North American Champion and one-time OAOAST World Tag Team Champion Stephen Joseph! And the bell rings... Cappa turns and runs Stephen into the first available turnbuckle, thrusting his right shoulder into Stephen's chest three times, then stiffs him with a European uppercut with his left. He rocks the former commissioner back into the turnbuckle, and lets him stagger out, and fall to the ground. Stephen rolls onto his back and looks up at Cappa who stands over him. With a fistful of hair and a referee's admonishment, Cappa pulls up Stephen to a vertical base, and slaps on a side headlock, focusing on the neck in the early going. His legs buckling, SJ rocks backwards , flipping Cappa over his body and down onto the mat, and Stephen sets in immediately with a Fujiwara arm bar! Cappa cries out in pain and begins to contort his body so that his foot can touch the rope. The referee starts the count, and Stephen only pulls harder, trying to get every second of pain as painful as possible. Four! cries the referee and Stephen breaks the hold, and Cappa slides under the ropes to shake his arm off as the ref steps between him and Stephen in the ring. Capster slides back in and Stephen's backed up a bit, eyes starting at the left arm, the first body part of intent so to speak. Stephen makes a cocky dart inward, and Cappa slaps a boot to his face with a quick snap roundhouse kick. Cappa waits for SJ's momentum to carry him back around, and Cappa bear hugs Popick up and over with a very modified and painful belly-to-belly-suplex, nearly planting Stephen Joseph on his noggin. Cappa flips Stephen over immediately onto his belly and lays on top, clinching the neck and raising himself to a sitting position, pulling Stephen's neck back in a "Cappa Recliner" trying to pull Stephen's head off and present to the masses as a present. Stephen, to his credit, pulls his arms back and leans forward, knees bent, and rolls himself and Cappa over into a pinning predicament, Stephen on top of Cappa in a bridge! for a one count. Stephen immediately slides out of the ring and onto the safe floor below. Cappa springs into action, launching himself over the top rope and plancha-ing onto a very unsuspecting SJ. COLE What a Manuvuer! CABOOSE Plancha Cole. It's a planch, done thousands of times... *Yawn* So when does Stephen Joseph win? COACH I thought with you history you'd be rooting for Cappa. CABOOSE I value my job. Cappa gets pumped up on the outside, slapping a few fans hands next to the ring barriers. Stephen's stirring on the mat, but well, he's stirring, he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. And to top off the dizziness, he did take a spill across the head and has been opened up right above his left eye. Cappa turns and kicks Stephen in the stomach, starting to lose emotional control as he begins to scream. He kicks him again, lifting the former cruiserweight up off the ground by about an inch. Joseph buckles, but Cappa is relentless, pulling him up by the hair (which breaks the ref's count of being outside as he counts for the DQ). Cappa pushes Stephen back into the ring. Stephen scurries to the other side and slides out, Cappa just slides back in and stares. Stephen then shakes his head, slaps the cobwebs out, and re-enters the ring. Cappa then begins to circle Stephen, who backs up into a turnbuckle. Nowhere to go, Stephen charges Cappa, who takes the momentum and catches SJ with a release belly to belly! The crowd roars as Cappa slides over to wench the neck of SJ up, pounding qwith open fists on the spine right below the neckline. COLE Someone has done their homework tonight folks. Cappa stands up and sits a knee down across the spine of SJ. He rinses and repeats a few times, firmly in control of this match. Seemingly bored, he pulls SJ up and snap suplexes him over into a CrossFace ChickenWing, pulling that neck apart as best he can. Stephen struggles by turning left and right on the mat, trying to break the balance and leverage of Cappa. It doesn't work. Stephen, helpless, starts flailing his arms trying to hit Cappa, kicking his feet back to hit Cappa, but the Cappa man has put himself sitting across Stephen's legs and away from his hands' reach. Stephen begins to fade and his struggle lessen. The crowd boos heavily, and Cappa turns around in time to eat FLYING BOOT~! from THA PUERTO RICAN~! to break up the submission hold. Cappa spits out blood as THA PUERTO RICAN escapes into the crowd. Cappa smacks his head and Stephen rolls back onto his belly. The referee looks at Cappa like, "What? It's no DQ!" and Cappa again shakes his head in frustration. Cappa over to Stephen to pick him up, and Stephen comes alive with a double facing full nelson on Cappa, picking him up and flipping him 180 degrees and driving him down to plant on his head with the Synchronicity finisher! Stephen weakily covers... 1! 2! No! Kickout before the third fall of the hand by Cappa. Stephen just collapsed on his right, wishing that would have been it. Cappa rolls onto his belly and begings to push himself up...both men having a rough time and Stephen is definitely holding onto his neck. COACH We should have expect Tha Puerto Rican to interfere considering the history! COLE What's this? Cappa has just gotten to his feet when Dan Black and T-BOD come racing down the rampway. Cappa staggers back and makes a valiant yet ultimately futile gesture that he's prepared. Dan and Tony get to the bottom of the ramps when two fans spring out of their seats and jump over the railing, catching both by suprise with missile dropkicks! CABOOSE By Gawd, we haven't seen these guys in forever. Los Infernales in the HOUSE! And by rights it is El Dandy and the SpiderPoet Peter Cone intercepting the former tag team champions! Dandy and Poet fight Black T to the back , throwing and tossing them around like their nothing. Back in the ring, Popick turns around to see his other running buddies of Intense will no longer be able to help him, and he turns to Cappa. Stephen gulps and tries to scurry out, but Cappa grabs Stephen's leg and pulls him back. Stephen struggling flails madly but Cappa brutely picks him up and slamps on a suplex-like hold...and fires up the crowd with a hard side suplex! He stands by and signals to the crowd, slapping his hands, and when SJ turns around its BUST A CAP~! BUST A CAP~! Cappa nails it to perfection and Stephen's head just hits the mat like a lump of bricks...Cappa with the cover! 1! 2! 3! No! Foot on the ropes! Popick's foot is on the ropes. Cappa, relentless, pulls Stephen immediately up and gets to the center of the ring as the crowd roars. Popick grabs the referee blindly and kicks Cappa IN THE JUNK! CABOOSE The ultimate equalizer! COLE Stephen definitely out of it. This match is no DQ...it didn't matter if the referee saw that! Cappa holds himself and tries to stand back up, and Stephen senses movement behind him (that and the crowd is cheering). He turns around and DUCKS a chair swing from ANDREW HYLAND! But that chairshot ROCKS Cappa hardway upside the head! Andrew's momentum carries him around and Stephen instinctively kicks him in the stomach, causing the chair to drop! Stephen DDT's Andrew onto the chair and rolls right back on top of Cappa! 1! 2! 3! * DING DING DING * The bell rings and Stephen rolls out of the ring, clasping his neck and looking to get the hell out of dodge. A sick smile crosses his face... "YOU'RE mine Cappa! What did I teach you? Fuck me? No Cappa.... FUCK YOU! Stephen trips and falls, but crawls away and standing, walks back up the ramp. Cappa turns a bloody face to see his once again, new boss. "no." COLE But Cappa can't say no. He's now got to be a loyal member of the Inten5e CABOOSE Something told me Stephen had a plan all along. COACH The question is...who did Hyland meant to hit. As the camera fades, Cappa looks at the fallen Hyland, and wonders the same thing. We cut backstage, where we see Chris Bryte and Kevin Yancy Taylor arguing with Bill Watts and a group of offcials. COLE Fans, there you see Chris Bryte backstage. Tonight, he's scheduled to meet Panther in a Steel Cage Match, but as of now, there's a bit of uncertainty as to whether or not that match will even take place tonight, and it all stems from what we're about to show you right now. This is footage from this past Thursday night on HeldDOWN... The Angleslam logo scrolls the screen, taking us back to Thursday night, with Panther in the ring being interviewed by Jackie Gayda. PANTHER ...you're gonna get what's coming to you, Bryte, and whether you like it, or whether Taylor likes it, it really doesn't matter, because in the end--now more than ever--there's no right way, there's no wrong way, there's only the Panther's way! And Bryte man...you had damn sure better believe that there that there can't AND WON'T be any other way!!!!! JACKIE Let's here it for Panther! "State Prop (You Know Us)" starts up over the PA system once again as Panther raises his right fist into the air and heads over to the ropes. COLE (voice over) Panther seemed ready for this match up against Bryte. You could tell that he couldn't wait to get his hands on Chris Bryte, but then this happened... The fans give Panther a huge ovation as he steps out onto the apron with intensity still on his face. He then hops from the apron... ...AND GOES DOWN CLUTCHING HIS KNEE!!!!!! Miss Jackie and the referee quickly rush out to the floor to check on Panther, who's screaming in pain as he holds his right knee. After conferring with Panther for a moment, the referee looks towards the locker room and holds up an "X" symbol. Panther's music stops abruptly as officials rush out to the locker room to come to his aid. COLE Yes...Panther...it looked as if he jammed his knee hopping off that apron. He was clearly hurt bad. He couldn't leave ringside on his own; he had to be carried out by our trainers and taken to the hospital. Up to this point, fans, we've had no word on the condition of Panther's knee. Well hopefully, our colleague Jackie Gayda can shed a little light on the subject, because she's standing backstage with Panther and Tina. Jackie... We cut back to the locker room, where Miss Jackie is standing with a mic. Panther and Tina are seated on a bench behind her, both with uneasy looks on their faces. JACKIE Thanks, Michael. I'm here with Panther and Tina and guys, as you know, there's been a lot of speculation over the condition of Panther's knee, and what better way to find the truth on the matter than to take it to the man himself. Panther, how are you feeling? PANTHER Truth, Jackie? You want THE TRUTH, huh? JACKIE Yes...I can handle it. PANTHER Yeah, I bet you can. Well the TRUTH is...Jackie...that my knee is A-OK! It's 100%! Hell...it's never felt better! JACKIE ...Really? PANTHER Damn right. I mean, c'mon Jackie! After all I've been through since coming to the OAOAST--being tossed into ring posts by Brock Ausstin, being put through tables by Gunner Sharps, getting my ribs busted up by The Hand--none of that was able to stop me, so what makes you think that a little fall from the apron is gonna be able to do what those guys couldn't do? (laughs) No, Jackie, I'm fine. My knee feels good, and in just a little while I'm gonna step into that cage and give Chris Bryte the beating of a lifetime! JACKIE Well Panther...you know that I more than anybody would like to see you get your hands on Bryte tonight, but Panther, I--along with everyone else here in the OAOAST--care about your safety first. We don't want you to go out there tonight and endanger your well-being, and that's why, Panther...I have to show this footage to the world. Something I stumbled upon earlier tonight. Tech crew, roll the footage! COLE Footage? COACH I haven't heard anything about this. The words "EARLIER TODAY" appear in the upper left hand corner of the screen as we cut to footage from the parking lot, where a worried Tina paces back and forth in front of the back entrance. In the background, we can hear the sound of a car pulling up. The camera follows Tina as she rushes over to the car, from which Panther emerges with a sombre look on his face. TINA Panther! Panther! What did he say? Panther slams the door behind him and looks down at the ground. TINA It's bad, isn't it? Panther looks up at her with tears in his eyes and nods affirmatively. PANTHER He said...(sniffles) the doctor said that I tore my ACL. He said it'll take at least 6-to-8 weeks to heal. I shouldn't even be wrestling tonight. Panther lowers his head and looks at the ground for a moment. He then bangs on the roof of his car in frustration. TINA Well...well it's ok. You can always wait until your knee gets better and have the match then. I'm sure that everyone will understa-- PANTHER NO!!!!!! I've waited long enough as it is, and I'm sick of waiting! I WANT BRYTE TONIGHT!!! TINA But Panther-- PANTHER Tina...I want Bryte tonight, and I refuse to wait any longer! It's tonight or never, Tina! TINA But Watts will never let you wrestle with an injury that bad. PANTHER I know...and that's why we can't let him find out about it, Tina! Whatever you do, you've gotta keep this a secret! We can't let Watts or anybody else find out how hurt I am! TINA But...but... PANTHER Do this for me, Tina! I mean...c'mon! Don't you wanna see Chris Bryte get what he has coming to him? Don't you want him to pay for all he done to you? For leading you on like that? Turning on you at your wedding? For all the injuries he caused you? What...you're not still soft on him, are you? Do you still have feelings for that little-- TINA Don't be stupid, Panther. You know that I hate Chris Bryte more than anything in the world! But Panther, I love you even more than I could ever hate him! I don't wanna see you get hurt any further! PANTHER And I won't! Trust me! The only person that'll be getting hurt tonight is Chris Bryte! Believe me, Tina! All I need is for you to keep news between me and you... TINA Damn it, Panther-- PANTHER Please, Tina! Please...if you truly hate Chris Bryte...Tina, if you truly love me...you'll keep this injury a secret. Please. Initially, Tina looks angry; she can't believe that Panther would stoop that low and bust out the "if you really love me..." routine. But as she looks into his eyes--with Panther giving her almost a puppy-dog look--she can't help but to give in to his request. TINA (sighs) Ok, fine! I won't tell anybody about the injury. PANTHER Thank you. TINA Just...be careful tonight. Tina gives Panther a kiss on the cheek, and together, they walk back towards the arena, with Panther trying as best he can to conceal his pain from curious onlookers. The Angleslam logo scrolls the screen and we cut back to the live scene in the locker room, where Panther--realizing that the secret's out--can do nothing but shake his head. JACKIE Again, Panther, I'm sorry about this. I really hate doing this to you...but again, we all care about your well-being. Panther looks down at the floor, chuckling a bit under his breath. PANTHER All I've gotta say about this is that it's a sad, sad day when you can't even have a secret conversation in front of a camera crew, lighting staff, a boom mic operator and various producers without having all your business broadcasted all over the world. TINA Yeah, tell me about it. Did you see my hair in that video? I looked a mess! PANTHER Yeah...but you know what? It doesn't even matter. My knee could be 5%, 10%, 15...20, and it wouldn't mean a damn thing, because 5% of me is good enough to take out Chris Bryte, believe me. I said before that nothing was gonna stop me from ending his career tonight, and I meant it. JACKIE But Panther, you can't possibly believe that Bill Watts is gonna allow you to compete tonight with an injury that bad! PANTHER Oh, he will! JACKIE I don't think so, Panther. I mean...with all the negative publicity surrounding this feud, just imagine how the media would react if they found out that he let an injured man get inside a steel cage only to be injured further. PANTHER Well that's something he's just gonna have to risk, because--again--NOTHING is gonna stop me from getting my hands on Bryte tonight. TINA Panther, be reasonable! PANTHER Reasonable?! You want reasonable? Here's some reason for you, ma: either me and Bryte settle this shit inside that cage tonight, or I'm gonna settle it myself outside of the cage. And if it comes down to choice number two...well we'll just see how Watts deals with THAT publicity! And with that, Panther pulls himself up from the bench and limps out of camera view, leaving both Tina and Miss Jackie alone, both looking somewhat uneasy. JACKIE Um...WELL! Michael, Coach...Boose...take it from here. It's getting tense back here.

    AngleSlam 2004

Big Machine by Velvet Revolver begins and the fans boo as JAE and Cain make their way onto the stage. COLE I guess Father is keeping a low profile until later tonight? COACH He’s keeping it on the down low! CABOOSE He’s keeping himself out of harms way is what he’s doing. You know that Rick and company are cheap shot artists! COLE Riiiight. Cain walks down the ramp while arguing with some ringside fans. Cain tells a few drunk guys in the front row to shut up as the heckle him. Cain then steps into the ring and JAE follows closely behind him. COLE I know that Watts didn’t ban anyone from ringside for this match, but JAE shouldn’t be out here! CABOOSE Why not? He’s Cain’s friend! BUFFER Ladies and Gentlemen this match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by J. Arthur Edwards, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 285lbs, CHRISTOPHER CAIN!!!!! The fans boo as Cain lifts his arms in the air and smirks. The music dies out and is replaced by Bullet with Butterfly Wings by Smashing Pumpkins. The fans cheer as Judas walks out onto the stage for the first time since January and Judas is noticeably pumped up. Judas walks a few feet before kneeling on the stage and watching Cain intently. Judas is almost meditating on Cain as some pyro explodes on stage behind him. Judas then gets up and walks to the ring ropes. COLE Judas hasn’t wrestled in over 7 months and his first match back is against this monster. I don’t envy Judas tonight. CABOOSE Why would you ever envy him? BUFFER His opponent, from Houston, TX, weighing in at 200lbs, JUDAS!!!! In a flash Judas pulls himself up onto the top rope and springboards off with a Dropkick that staggers Cain for a second. * DING DING DING * CABOOSE Cheap shot! What did I tell you? Judas wastes no time in bouncing off the ropes and hitting a Spinning Wheel Kick to Cain, who was leaning against the ropes. Cain almost goes over the top rope, but he catches himself and lands back on his feet. Judas goes for another move, but JAE trips him up from the outside. Judas stumbles around but manages to stay on his feet before running at JAE. JAE moves out of the way and throws his arms in the air as if he were innocent. The ref yells at him from inside the ring, but JAE ignores him and pounds on the mat to get things rolling again. COLE I told you that JAE needed to leave ringside! CABOOSE He was trying to make up for the cheap shot! While the ref was distracted by JAE Judas went for a Hurricanrana, but Cain tossed Judas off his shoulders. Judas back flips and lands on his feet before ducking a Clothesline attempt from Cain and running towards the ropes. Judas bounces off and hits a Flying Forearm that staggers the big man again. Judas then reaches out, grabs Cain’s arm, and whips him to the ropes before hitting a High Dropkick that finally takes Cain down! COLE Cain goes down! COACH Down to Chinatown? COLE Um…no. Cain doesn’t stay down long as he is up within seconds and charging at Judas for a Big Boot. Judas ducks the boot and catches Cain’s leg over his shoulder. Judas then motions to the crowd before tripping Cain’s other leg so that Cain falls to the mat. As Cain falls Judas follows him down with an Elbow Drop to the groin/lower abdomen! CABOOSE Low blow!!! COLE I believe it was the lower abdomen. CABOOSE That’s just another way of saying crotch Cole! COACH It looked low to me too. CABOOSE Stop trying to kiss my ass Coach. Cain rolls around the mat in pain as Judas throws his arms out to the side to take in the cheers from the crowd. JAE is livid on the outside over the low blow and decides to pull Judas out of the ring. Judas is slid out of the ring and falls hard to the floor with a thud. The fans boo as JAE looks to strike, but the ref exits the ring and orders JAE to leave! COLE There we go! JAE tries to go after Judas, but the ref steps in his way each time and finally JAE agrees to leave. The ref starts to walk him away, but JAE takes the opportunity to slip past him and lay in a few stomps to Judas. COLE What a sneaky bastard. COACH How hard is it to fool a ref? He’s not that sneaky. CABOOSE Yes he is! Wait…what am I saying? Finally the ref pulls JAE away and sends him to the back as the fans cheer and mock him. Judas pulls himself up and goes back into the ring, but Cain is waiting and pulls him up with a double choke. Judas dangles in the air from Cain’s massive hands as Cain chokes the life out of him. Judas then begins kicking Cain in the ribs so that he will let go and finally he breaks free. Judas quickly runs towards the ropes, leaps to the top, and springboards off with a Corkscrew Crossbody! Cain catches him, but he stumbles back and almost falls. However, Cain manages to regain his balance and lift Judas above his head before tossing him over the top rope and to the floor! COLE My God!!! CABOOSE Now that’s an equalizer! COACH That was insane. The fans chant “Holy Shit” as Judas hits the mat hard and actually bounces. Cain exits the ring and pulls Judas to his feet before tossing him back first into the ring post! Judas bounces off right back into the hands of Cain who whips him into the ring steps! Judas hits the steps with his knees and flips head over heels to the floor! Judas lies on the mat in pain with his eyes glazed over as Cain laughs and taunts a few fans who are cheering Judas. COLE Now he’s just tossing Judas around like a ragdoll! Cain then waits for Judas to stand and blasts him with the Sudden Impact (Clothesline from Hell)! Judas is knocked for a loop and Cain can’t control his laughter. The ref is basically screaming for Cain to bring it back into the ring. Cain slides in and gets in the refs face telling him he should be counting. CABOOSE He’s right the ref should be counting. What a biased ref! COLE He was trying to keep control of this match! COACH Then he should have been counting right Booze? CABOOSE What did I say earlier Coach?? The ref begins a count as Judas lies on the outside completely unconscious. 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…Cain breaks the count by grabbing the ref. COLE Why did he do that? Cain waves off the ref and goes to the outside to fetch Judas. As Cain reaches for him Judas kicks Cain right in the side of the head three times before kipping up into a Hurricanrana that tosses Cain back first across the ring steps!! COLE Oh my God!! CABOOSE Now how is that right!? Cain’s back arches in pain as he slides off the steps and lies on the floor. Judas then pulls himself up and slides into the ring to break the refs count. Judas then climbs to the top rope and waits for Cain to stand. Cain makes it to his feet as Judas dives off with a Somersault Plancha, but Cain Catches Judas across his shoulder and then drops him stomach first across the guardrail! COLE These two are killing each other! CABOOSE Judas is taking it to Cain, but he’s destroying himself in the process! COACH The ref better get control soon before someone gets hurt. The ref exits the ring and begs Cain to bring it into the ring. Cain actually obliges and pulls Judas off the guardrail before sliding him into the ring. Cain then slides in after him and nails Judas with a vicious Double Stomp to the gut! You can here the air being driven from Judas as Cain lands on him and the fans let out a loud “ohhhh”. Cain then pulls Judas up by the head and hits an Exploder Powerslam that shakes the ring. He then makes a cover. 1…2….3! No!!! Judas kicks out. COLE Wow…that was the first pin attempt this match and Judas kicked out!! COACH Maybe he shouldn’t…this match might put him away for another 7 months. Cain then rests in the corner and waves Judas on. Judas slowly stands and Cain runs him over with Big Boot to the face. He then goes for another cover. 1…2…3! No!!! Judas kicks out again!! CABOOSE What an idiot…stay down. Cain then pulls Judas back up and goes for an Electric Chair Drop, but out of nowhere Judas rolls forward and rolls Cain up into a pin! 1…2…No!!! Cain kicks out with authority and looks pissed as the fans let out a collective sigh over the near fall. CABOOSE That’s not enough to take him down. Cain stands and angrily tells Judas to get up. As Judas stands Cain hoists him onto his back for a Samoan Drop, but again out of nowhere Judas pulls him back with a Crucifix Pin! 1…2…3!! No!!! Cain kicks out!! Cain looks really pissed as he stands again and waves Judas on. Judas stands and Cain quickly goes for another Sudden Impact, but Judas manages to duck it! Cain stumbles forward trying to stop his momentum when Judas hits a Dropkick to the back of Cain’s head. Cain lands throat first across the middle rope and lies there as Judas runs at him, bounces off his back and over the top rope before coming down and snapping Cain’s head against the rope! COLE Whoa! I’ve never seen someone do that! CABOOSE Bah I could do that. COLE I’m sure you could, but I’ve never seen that before now. Cain stumbles back away from the ropes and Judas hops up to the apron. Cain manages to regain his composure and goes for a Spear to Judas, but Judas leaps into the air at the last second and Leg Drops the back of Cain’s head as it comes through the ropes! COLE Judas has come in here with a game plan and that is to stick and move! COACH This isn’t boxing Cole. Cain starts to get up so Judas quickly slingshots over the top rope and hits a Sunset Flip on his way down! 1…2…3!!! No!!! Cain kicks out again! Cain reaches his feet quickly and looks ready to kill Judas as Judas stands up and gets caught by a big hand around his throat! Cain lifts Judas for a Chokeslam, but Judas breaks free and goes for a Hurricanrana, but Cain catches him and hits a hard Powerbomb that folds him like an accordion. COLE That will stop his momentum! Cain shakes out the cobwebs and gloats over Judas as the fans boo. Cain then pulls Judas up by the head and hooks him in the Rock Bottom position. He then gives a thumb up which he quickly changes to a thumb down before nailing the Spinal Cracker across his knee! Cain then goes for a cover. CABOOSE That’s gotta be it. 1…2…3!! No!!! Judas kicks out!! Cain can’t believe that Judas is still kicking out so he grabs Judas and tosses him over the top rope to the outside before following. The ref exits the ring and tells him to get back into the ring or he’ll call for the bell. Cain just ignores him and whips Judas towards the guardrail, but Judas reverses at the last second and Cain hits the guardrail hard. Cain doubles over the rail as Judas heads to the apron and raises his arm to the delight of the crowd. He then bounces off the ropes with a Moonsault and actually bounces off of Cain and lands on his feet on the other side of the guardrail! Cain slumps to the ground as the fans chant “Holy Shit” and pat Judas on the back. Judas then climbs over the guardrail and enters the ring to break the count as the ref had gone back into the ring and started counting. COLE Judas is trying to rest for a second and he needs it! CABOOSE He needs to be disqualified! COACH What about Cain? CABOOSE What about him? Judas lies on the mat trying to regain his composure as Cain gets to his feet and pulls Judas back out of the ring. Judas lands on his feet and quickly fires off some right hands, but Cain shakes them off, nails Judas with a knee to the gut, and then tosses him face first into the ring post. The ref comes out and threatens to ring the bell so Cain slides back into the ring and gloats over his handiwork. The fans boo and chant “Cain Sucks” as Cain just soaks it all in. COLE What a jerk. CABOOSE Jerk? No one says “jerk” anymore. Judas pulls himself up using the ring apron, but Cain is there to catch him and try to Suplex him back into the ring. Cain manages to get him up, but Judas drops behind him and hooks him for a German Suplex. COLE There’s no way! Judas tries to lift him, but Cain is too big and he breaks free with a couple of elbow shots. Cain spins around with a backhand, but Judas ducks and hooks him for a Northern Lights Suplex, but again Cain is too big and he hammers his way out. COLE Judas isn’t going to be able to hit a lot of his moves on this big guy. He needs to stick with his stick and move plan. CABOOSE Please don’t start with the puns Cole. Cain Gorilla presses a stunned Judas, but Judas drops behind him and tries to lift him for the Akeldama (Burning Hammer)! Judas actually gets him up, but the size of Cain is too awkward for him and Judas falls forward with Cain on top of him. Cain laughs as he stands up and pulls Judas up with him. Cain slaps Judas in the face a couple of times out of spite and then lifts him into position for the Quick Death. COLE This could be it. Judas struggles and breaks free of Cain’s grasp. He manages to land on his feet and kicks Cain in the gut before going for a Piledriver. Judas manages to get him up and with the aid of pulling Cain’s waistband he nails a Piledriver. The fans erupt as Judas lies on the mat catching his breath. COLE He hit it! CABOOSE He pulled the tights! COACH I don’t think it matters in that instance. CABOOSE Shut up! Judas then slowly climbs to the top rope and steadies himself as the fans buzz. Judas then raises his arms and goes for the Spiral Tap! COLE Judas with a Spiral Tap… However, Cain moves and Judas hits the mat hard as the fans groan. The ref checks on Judas as Cain digs in his pocket for something. COLE What is he doing?? CABOOSE He must be looking for a phone number he got from some hot chick. COLE During a match!? Wait a minute…he’s got that chain!! Cain stands with a chain wrapped around his hand and hides it from the ref. Cain then waves someone from the back and JAE comes running out. The fans boo as the ref cuts JAE off, but with the ref distracted Cain nails a standing Judas in the head with the chain and then tosses it to the outside! COLE Oh come on!!! Cain then lifts Judas for the Quick Death (Sitout Tombstone) and spikes him in the middle of the ring. JAE lets the ref turn around as Cain makes the cover. 1…2…3!!! * DING DING DING DING * COLE I can’t believe this! CABOOSE That can’t be a good sign for Rick Edwards later at all. COACH Oh man this is gonna be a long night. BUFFER Here’s your winner…CHRISTOPHER CAIN!!!! Cain and JAE celebrate in the ring as the fans boo. Big Machine plays over the speakers as the two men leave the ring and the camera gets a shot of a bloody Judas coming to. COLE The Machine has the momentum going into the X Title match later on and I don’t like it one bit.

BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen...boys and girls...children of all ages. On behalf of OAOAST Entertainment, we are proud and pleased to bring yooooou........ANGLESLAM!!! * DING DING DING * BUFFER The following contest is our opening bout this evening! It is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the One and Only Anglesault Thread Twenty-Four Seven Championship! CUE: "Black" by Sevendust Hoff steps out from behind the curtain, smiling, and the London crowd absolutely boos him out of the building. BUFFER Making his way down the aisle first, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at two-hundred seventy-five pounds...he is a member of the Thrillogy, the self-styled future of the industry, and the reigning and defending twenty-four seven champion....he is...HOFF!!!!! Hoff, smiling, pauses midway down the ramp to look out across the audience, running his mouth. Smirking, he slides into the ring under the bottom rope, unstraps his belt, and climbs the turnbuckles, posing with the belt held high. The fans jeer as Hoff's music dies down... CUE: "Debonaire" by Dope BUFFER And his opponent! The boos are replaced by HUGE cheers as Gunner steps out from behind the curtain, pumping up the crowd! BUFFER Hailing from the Motor City of De-troit, Michigan, standing seven foot one and weighing in at three-hundred and seventy-five pounds, the most raw powerful superstar perhaps ever to step into a ring. The challenger for the 24/7 championship.....GUNNER....SHAAAAAAARPS!!!!!! Gunner throws his arms above his head, working the crowd into a frenzy. Gunner heads down the ramp, pointing at Hoff and threatening the champ, who looks at Gunner coolly. Gunner stomps down the ramp...and stops halfway as "Debonaire" fades out on the speakers. COLE What the... Gunner levels a long, hard gaze at Hoff...then smiles as "Man in the Box" blares over the arena sound system!! COACH No! COLE Could it be?! Gunner gestures to the back... AND OUT WALKS....A J FLAIRE!!!!!!! COLE OH MY GOD! AJ FLAIRE IS BACK!! The fans ERUPT as AJ Flaire walks out from behind the curtain, assisted by a cane. AJ smiles out across the fans, allowing himself a scream of excitement as the fans cheer their hearts out! COACH Un-be-lievable!! COLE AJ Flaire has returned! And he is at the side of Gunner Sharps!! Hoff's eyes go wide, and he panics, shaking his head as AJ Flaire stands next to Gunner. Both men walk down the ramp, AJ screaming obscenities at Hoff while Gunner stares a hole through the champion. Hoff grabs the referee, complaining, pointing at AJ on the outside, but the ref pulls himself away. Gunner climbs up the steps, pounding fists with Flaire before stepping through the ropes, staring at Hoff. Hoff backs away from both Gunner and the official, as both men stand in their corners, eyes locked. COACH AJ Flaire...wow COLE This is an intensely personal feud, and AJ Flaire is a reminder of that. Of course, it was two short months ago that Hoff broke AJ Flaire's back in the center of the ring, and we didn't know if he would ever walk again, let alone wrestle, but now here he is, and he looks great. AJ keeps his eyes locked on Hoff as well, as the referee shows the 24/7 Title first to Gunner Sharps, then to Hoff, then holds it high above his head before handing it to the timekeeper. COACH Well, personal or not, this is also about the 24/7 Title, which has been so hotly contested for the past month, with Hoff, Gunner Sharps, and of course Chris Stevens... COLE Absolutely, and we do know that Chris Stevens is in the building tonight, and......oh, get this! I've just received word that this Thursday on HeldDown, Chris Stevens will receive a shot at the 24/7 Title! COACH All right! The referee checks the tights and boots of both men, then dashes out of the way as he calls for the bell, getting the match underway. Gunner begins to stalk toward Hoff, but the champion sidesteps, drawing Gunner into a circle as the two men pace the ring, looking each other over. COLE Here we go! COACH So how much actual wrestling do you think we'll see in this contest? COLE I don't know, I mean, we know that Hoff is an extremely capable technician, we know that both these guys have surprising agility for their size, but at the end of the day, both men's games rely on raw power! Hoff and Gunner suddenly dash together, locking up collar-and-elbow, both trying to push the other back. However, neither man budges, and they let go stepping back and circling again. COLE There you see, both Hoff and Gunner trying to one-up each other with raw strength, maybe feeling each other out a little. COACH Well, if Caboose were here, I know he'd give the advantage to Hoff, and quite frankly I have to agree! I mean, I love Gunner Sharps, but Hoff is quicker, more technically sound, maybe even a bit smarter in there. COLE I don't know about that, Gunner's a very smart guy, although you might not think it. Technically, Hoff has the edge. He is quicker. He might have more stamina as well, we'll have to see. But Gunner, I feel, clearly has the edge in strength. Taking nothing away from Hoff, but Gunner is the stronger man. He's bigger as well, taller, heavier, the reach may come into play as well. Tie up again... Again Gunner and Hoff come together in a tie-up, and this time, Gunner is able to back Hoff slowly into a corner, but Hoff reverses at the last second and throws Gunner in, choking Gunner with his forearm. The referee calls for the break, but Hoff doesn't let go, prompting a five count. Hoff still doesn't release, and so the official squeezes in between the two men's arms and pry's them apart. Hoff back slowly off...but quickly surprises Gunner with an eye gouge! COLE Aw come on, thumb to the eye, and Hoff is cheating already! COACH Hoff has proven he will do literally whatever it takes to hang onto that title. Gunner grabs his eye as AJ shouts to the ref, but Hoff moves in, grabbing Gunner and running his face along the ring rope before tossing him down to the mat. Gunner holds his face as he rolls away, and Hoff taunts the crowd before pointing down and yelling at AJ, who gets in Hoff's face. COLE AJ must have so much hate built up for Hoff that he-- whoa! Hoff jumps back as AJ takes a wild swing with his cane, hitting the ropes. AJ quickly brings the cane down and puts his weight on it, as Hoff turns around, meeting a rising Gunner with a shot to the back of the neck. Gunner sinks to his knees, but quickly fights back up to his feet. Hoff rears back, but Gunner surprises him with a blow to the stomach, stopping Hoff in his tracks. Hoff reels as Gunner gets to his full height, and begins unloading on Hoff with big right hands! The crowd gets to their feet as Gunner hits blow after blow, sending Hoff reeling into the ropes! Gunner grabs him and whips him across the ring! Hoff bounces off the opposite side, and Gunner catches him with a big boot! Hoff falls down hard, then rolls onto his knees. Hoff pulls himself up, but Gunner grabs him by the hair as he rises, pulling him to a corner and slamming him face-first into a turnbuckle! Gunner pulls him back, then slams him again, and a third time, then lets him go reeling out of the corner! Hoff stumbles out, dazed and holding his jaw, before turning around...only to be floored with a clothesline! The fans pop as Gunner makes a cover! ONE! TWO! THRNO! Kickout! COLE Whoa, Gunner almost had it there! He is taking it to Hoff! COACH Well, I don't know if he had Hoff beat but he is definitely taking it to him! Gunner gets to his feet and pulls Hoff up, scooping him and slamming him HARD on the canvas. Hoff lies prone as Gunner runs off the ropes, coming off with a standing splash...but Hoff rolls out of the way! COLE You don't want 375 pounds coming down on you! COACH No siree. Gunner grabs his midsection but hits his feet as Hoff brings himself up. Gunner walks over to Hoff and spins him around, but Hoff is ready and catches Gunner on the temple with a big right hand! The fans, who had been cheering the whole time, turn sour as Hoff drives a knee into Gunner's midsection, then snaps him over with a swinging neckbreaker! Hoff climbs to his feet, stomping at Gunner before heading to a corner and catching his breath. COLE Hoff buying himself a little time... Gunner rolls to his stomach and finds his feet as Hoff comes to the center of the ring, grabbing Gunner's arm and twisting it into an armwringer. Gunner tries to power out, but Hoff twists the arm again, doubling Gunner over in pain. Hoff seizes the opportunity and drives an elbow into Gunner's shoulder. COLE Hoff working over the trapezius, and he knows what it's like to have your arm taken apart-- Hoff wrings the arm again as Chris Stevens appears on the AngleTron! COACH Hey! Speak of the devil! We go to split screen as, on the left, Stevens is shown sitting in his street clothes, watching the match on a monitor. On the right, in the ring, Hoff wrings the arm again, prompting Stevens to cringe slightly. The image fades off the AngleTron as we cut back to full screen. COLE Well as we said, Chris Stevens will face the winner of this match on Thursday, so I'd say he has a vested interest in what happens here. COACH Well, so far both men have had the upper hand at some point, so it's anybody's game! Hoff transitions the armwringer into a hammerlock, pulling hard on Gunner's arm, torquing it out of joint. Gunner grits his teeth, then fires a back elbow that catches Hoff off-guard. Gunner fires again, and Hoff lets go of the hold, grabbing at his face. Gunner spins around and drills Hoff with a right hand that sends the champ down! Gunner follows up with another cover, but again can only get two! Gunner gets to his feet, meeting Hoff with a kick to the stomach and grabbing him in a standing headscissors!! Gunner waves the crowd up!! COLE Gunner could be looking to end it here and now! Looking for All Guns Blazing and-- oh, hey! Hoff takes the coward's way out! Hoff quickly drops to his knees and crawls backwards before rolling out of the ring, looking up at Gunner and shaking his head, with his eyes again wide. COACH Well, Hoff must have had Gunner scouted because he got out of there fast! Hoff rubs his face as the ref begins his ten-count, then looks up...only to see AJ Flaire in his face! AJ, leaning heavily on his cane, stands a few scant paces away from Hoff, hurling insults at him! Hoff steps toward AJ, but the ref quickly intervenes, sliding out of the ring and between the two men! COACH Wow, this could explode at any moment! AJ leans over the official's shoulder, yelling at Hoff, who waves AJ off and climbs back onto the apron...and is grabbed by the HAIR by Gunner! Hoff's eyes bug out as Gunner angrily tosses Hoff over the ropes by his hair! Hoff lands hard on his shoulder, rolling to a corner and rubbing it before using the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Hoff levels his gaze at Gunner, who waves Hoff on! Hoff charges with a clothesline, and Gunner ducks! Hoff turns, and gets stunned by a right hand! Another! Another! Hoff reels backwards, and Gunner drives him back to the corner, shoulder-first! Gunner steps back, then charges in, planting his shoulder under Hoff's jaw! Hoff's neck snaps back as the fans begin to cheer! "GUN-NER!" "GUN-NER!" "GUN-NER!" Gunner pumps his fist to the crowd, but Hoff seizes the opportunity and gives Gunner another thumb to the ocular cavity! Gunner steps back, holding his face, and Hoff hops onto the second rope! Gunner looks up just in time to be hit with a diving cloithesline! Hoff rolls on top of Gunner and hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Gunner throws a shoulder up with authority. Hoff gets off of Gunner and to his feet, pulling the big man up by the hair. Hoff flexes his bicep for the crowd, who jeer, before grabbing Gunner's arm and pulling Gunner toward him! COLE Short-arm...hey wait! Hoff rears back his arm for the short-arm clothesline, but Gunner charges forward, clotheslining Hoff instead! Hoff hits the mat hard as the fans cheer! Gunner makes a quick cover! ONE! TWO! NO! Shoulder up! COLE All these kickouts have to be taking some energy out of both guys! COACH Indeed, the question of stamina and conditioning may come into play! Gunner beats Hoff to his feet, then scoops Hoff up, dropping him across his knee back-first. COLE That rib breaker, also known as a Schmidt backbreaker, is such a simple yet effective maneuver. Gunner drops Hoff and AGAIN makes a cover, hooking the leg, but Hoff powers out at two. COLE This is sound strategy from Gunner, just to wear Hoff down and make him work. I told you he was smart. COACH Fair enough, Mikey, guess I owe you a Coke. Gunner gets to his feet again, picking Hoff up and whipping him into the corner. Hoff lies in the corner, woozy, as Gunner charges in with a big splash, but Hoff moves at the last second! Gunner hits the corner, chest first, and stumbles backwards...right into a rear waistlock from Hoff! Hoff lifts Gunner up, and takes him over with a HUGE release German suplex!! Both men are down after the move! COLE What a move by Hoff! That could turn the tide! COACH Yeah, and quick thinking as well! The referee begins a ten-count as the suplex is replayed on the monitors COLE Hoff snuck in right behind Gunner, and there you see, pops the hips and just powers him over. COACH Unreal, but...it took something out of Hoff as well! The referee reaches three as Gunner begins to stir. Hoff, meanwhile, crawls to the corner, using the ropes to climb to his feet. Hoff takes a second to breathe, then stalks over to Gunner, grabbing him by the neck and hooking his head and arm for a vertical suplex. COACH Wow, can he do this? COLE We've seen him drop Gunner with that Future Shock maneuver, I'm sure he can pull this off! Hoff pauses for a second before reaching down, grunting, and lifting Gunner up, bringing him crashing down with a vertical suplex! Hoff sits up, then slowly rolls to his feet, pulling Gunner up off the mat as well. Hoff hooks Gunner again...pauses...and pulls him up, waaaay up, and drops him back down! Gunner grabs the small of his back in pain as Hoff takes a moment to lie on the canvas. COLE Good lord, what power from Hoff! COACH Yeah but he's slower each time! Take a look for yourself! AJ starts pounding the mat, as Hoff slowly sits up. AJ runs to the side of the ring nearest Gunner, and shouts words of encouragement, prompting a "Gunner" chant in the crowd. Gunner slowly starts to rise...but gets quickly stomped to the canvas by Hoff, who levels an icy glare at Flaire! COACH Hoff killing the momentum that AJ was trying to build... COLE AJ is definitely a factor, but will he be enough of a factor? It doesn't look good! Hoff turns away from Flaire and picks Gunner up again. Hoff hooks Gunner for another vertical suplex, lifts him...but Gunner blocks the move with his leg! Hoff tries again, but Gunner blocks...and pulls his head free! Gunner quickly stands upright and grabs Hof, spiking him with a vicious DDT! The fans go BANANA!! COLE What a counter! Cover by Gunner! ONE! TWO! THRE--NO!! COLE Oh...Gunner ALMOST had him beat! Gunner rolls off of Hoff, slowly getting back to his feet. Hoff climbs to his knees, but Gunner scoops him up and presses Hoff overhead!! COLE LOOK AT THE STRENGTH!! Gunner ROARS as he holds Hoff over his head, drawing a massive cheer from the London faithful! Gunner looks up...and drops Hoff across his shoulder, catching him in a modified spinebuster!! COACH BOOM! You know Hoff don't like that one! Gunner floats over Hoff and grabs his leg! Cover! ONE! TWO! NO!!!! COLE Hoff BARELY got the shoulder up! COACH Well you wanted to talk about power, I think Gunner's about to unload on Hoff!! Gunner gets to his feet and ROARS, beckoning Hoff to get up! Hoff, disoriented, stumbles to his feet, and walks into Gunner's arms, getting caught with a big sideslam!! COLE Sidewalk slam by Gunner, and again a cover! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!! Hoff gets a shoulder up, and Gunner pounds the mat in frustration as he gets back up. Gunner again calls for Hoff to get up, and Hoff slowly rises, stumbling forward, and Gunner seizes the opportunity, grabbing Hoff and drilling him with a flatliner!! Gunner rolls over into yet another lateral press and hooks the leg! ONE!! TWO!! THR-- NO!! The fans groan as Hoff somehow, again, gets a shoulder up. COACH What does Gunner have to do?! COLE Well he's not out of tricks yet! Gunner gets to his feet, looking out across the crowd, which brings them to THEIR feet! Gunner almost manages a smile as he picks Hoff up, scooping him and throwing him across his shoulder! Gunner carries Hoff to one buckle, then charges across the ring! COLE Running powerslam from Gunner! If he can hit this-- wait! As Gunner charges, though, Hoff slips off his shoulder and lands behind Gunner on his feet! Hoff shoves Gunner forward, and Gunner's own momentum carries him into the buckle! Gunner reels out, and Hoff grabs him, whipping him cross-corner into the other turnbuckle! Gunner hits hard, and Hoff follows him in, crushing Gunner with a Stinger Splash! COACH DAYUM~! COLE HUGE splash by Hoff! Will he be able to capitalize? Hoff quickly backs off of Gunner, grabbing the larger man and hoisting him up onto the post. Hoff cimbls up to the second rope, grabbing Gunner and lifting him all the way to the top turnbuckle. The fans stand as Hoff climbs to the top rope as well...and brings Gunner ALL THE WAY DOWN with a beautiful superplex!! COLE What a move! This has to be it! Hoff with the cover! Hoff rolls his arm on top of Gunner's chest! ONE!!! TWO!!! KICKOUT!!! The fans go NUT as Gunner kicks out of the move! Hoff rolls off of Gunner, slowly getting to his knees, then to his feet as Gunner lies on the mat. Hoff looks down at Gunner....then slowly looks at the corner. COLE Oh, no! Is Hoff gonna go upstairs? COACH We haven't seen this in a while! A sick smile lands on Hoff's face as he heads onto the apron and up the turnbuckles. Hoff stands...looks down at Gunner's prone form...and flips AJ off, drawing the ire of the fans! Hoff takes one last look and dives off with the picture-perfect elbow! AND IT HITS!! Gunner's body convulses as Hoff drops the elbow right into his sternum. Hoff climbs on top of Gunner and hooks a leg! COLE This is it! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!!!!!!! The fans can't believe it as Gunner kicks out!! Hoff looks down in shock, then up at the ref who holds up two fingers! The shock fades, though, and is replaced with anger as Hoff gets to his feet! Hoff looks down at Gunner and begins stomping away!! The fans are livid as Hoff lays in boots to Gunner's chest and head, before looking up, slashing his arms and shouting "THIS IS IT!!!" COLE Hoff is looking to go for the kill! Hoff grabs Gunner by the head, pulling him to his feet, and whips him into the ropes! Gunner comes off the ropes, and Hoff sets up for the SPINEBUSTER~! COACH Hoff looking for that legendary spinebuster!! Gunner charges at Hoff, and Hoff sets....and Gunner LEAPFROGS Hoff!! COLE Gunner avoided it! Hoff's eyes go wide as Gunner keeps running! Hoff spins around... RIGHT INTO THE SHARP END!!!! COLE SHARP END!! GUNNER GOT HIM!!! The fans go ecstatic as Gunner drills Hoff with the Sharp End, sending Hoff flying back across the ring. Hoff lies prone on the mat, clutching at his ribs, as Gunner crawls over to make the cover! COLE This is it! ONE!!! TWO!!!!! THREE!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!! Gunner gets to his feet, thinking the match is over, but the referee grabs him and points to Hoff....who has his foot resting on the bottom rope!! Gunner grabs his hair in frustration!! COLE Hoff somehow got his foot on the rope, but I think this is all but over!! Gunner lets go of his hair and looks out to the crowd with FURY in his eyes! Gunner slashes his throat, and the crowd goes wild! Gunner storms to where Hoff is lying on the mat, picking the champion up and throwing him between his legs with a standing headscissors!! COLE ALL GUNS BLAZING!! THIS IS IT!! Gunner lifts Hoff up, grabbing him under the arms for the running Awesome bomb variation, and chrages forward....but Hoff slips out the back door! Gunner puts the brakes on, and turns around.... RIGHT INTO A ROCK BOTTOM!! COLE ROCK BOTTOM BY THE CHAMP!! THIS COULD BE IT!! Hoff, slowly, drapes an arm over Gunner Sharps!! ONE!! TWO!!! KICKOUT!!!!!! COLE HOW?! How in the world did Gunner kick out?! COACH This is amazing!! Both men lie prone on the mat, unmoving!! AJ begins pounding the mat as once again, the fans begin to chant Gunner's name! COLE This is truly a race! The first one to his feet...all he has to do is hit his move and it's all over!! It is gut check time for both of these men!! Who wants it more? Who has what it takes? The referee begins counting, and Gunner begins to stir, rolling over onto his stomach. Gunner lifts himself up with his arms...but then falls again, holding the back of his head. Meanwhile, Hoff, again, crawls to the corner, pulling himself desparately to his feet! The fans boo as Hoff gets to his feet on his own power, and looks down at Gunner!! COACH This isn't good, Mikey! Hoff smirks as Gunner again tries to get up, and falls. Hoff ambles over to Gunner, pulling him up by the hair.. HOFF "WELCOME TO THE FUTURE!!" The fans let Hoff have it with boos and catcalls as the 24/7 champion grabs Gunner in a reverse facelock. COLE This is it! Future Shock coming!! Hoff grabs Gunner by the tights and pulls him up...but Gunner won't lift! Hoff looks frantic as he again tries to lift Gunner, but Gunner resists! Hoff pulls again...but suddenly Gunner spins around, charging toward Hoff and driving Hoff into the corner!! COLE Where did that come from? COACH It's like you said, Mikey! Who wants it more? Gunner's not just fighting for a title, he's fighting for his best friend!! Hoff crumples as Gunner drives him into the turnbuckle. Gunner pulls free, then whips Hoff HARD into the opposite corner!! Hoff hits face-first, and stumbles backwards as Gunner crouches in the corner!! THE FANS COME ALIVE!!! COLE HERE IT IS!! Hoff stumbles...stumbles...turns....AND GETS DRILLED WITH THE SHARP END FROM GUNNER!!!! COVER!! THE FANS COUNT ALONG!!! ONE!!!!!!! TWO!!!!!!!!!!! THREE!!!!!!! COLE YES!! HE DID IT!! YES, YES, YES!! *ding ding ding ding ding* Gunner rolls of of Hoff as the fans ERUPT!! AJ slides into the ring, hobbling up to his feet using the ropes and his cane as Gunner crawls to his knees, raising one fist into the air! Gunner climbs to his feet, and AJ grabs him and hugs him as the timekeeper hands the 24/7 Title belt to the referee! BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout, and your NEW Twenty-Four Seven Champion......GUNNER SHARPS!!!!!! The ref hands Gunner the belt, and raises his hand as Gunner hoists the belt high into the air!!! "Debonaire" kicks in as AJ raises Gunner's other hand, and the two best friends embrace again, slapping each other on the back! AJ cringes and stumbles a little, but laughs it off as Gunner climbs the turnbuckles, holding his new title belt high up for the world to see! COLE Well Gunner did it!! He came out here tonight, and he got his revenge!! For AJ, for Axel, for Crystal...and for himself!! Gunner Sharps has beaten Hoff at AngleSlam!! COACH You gotta love it! Gunner rolls out of the ring, and AJ follows, patting Gunner on the back as the two walk backwards, Gunner holding the belt in the air. In the ring, Hoff finally gets back up, looking at the top of the ramp, where AJ buckles the belt around Gunner's waist! Gunner raises his arms and points at Hoff, who shouts "NO!" in the ring as Gunner and AJ head to the back. COLE Well, folks, we've already got one new champion here tonight! Who knows what else will happen?! OAOASTHELDDOWN~! So good people are too amazed to leave feedback! Thursday Nights on TSM

    Feedback for the 8/26 show

Note: I haven't had the chance to skim all the matches, so if I don't comment on them, you know why. The Playboy Magazine effect. The introduction of the HIYAH tag team titles could have more meaning later down the road than originally thought. The backstory for the titles was mentioned last week: the upstart Japanese promotion HIYAH signed a working agreement with the OAOAST. It was done for a couple of reasons. One, we can pose two jobbers as a HIYAH talent. Two, it gives Black T an excuse to take a week or two off. A few weeks back the OAOAST Mods -- well, Patty -- tossed around the idea of creating a secondary tag title due to the rise in tag teams. We quickly decided it might be something to seriously consider in the future -- now isn't the time. We don't want to mess with something that's thriving at this point. Every current tag team is currently controlled by a OAOAST Mod. Good promo explaining the stips for Edwards vs. Edwards. Cute little promo from Candie. Well done segment involving Watts & Bryte. Watts with the intensity. I love it. Great stuff involving Zack & Northstar. Thank God for revisions! One of my biggest flaws is not going back and revising my work, I normally use my first draft and that's it. While I wasn't fully pleased with the NNMX promo, it came off better than I had expected. The Louisville Slugger will obviously be in the same mold as The Body Shop, make the occasional appearance here and there. Another fine promo from J. Aurthor; Popick's problems with Cappa continue to grow Enjoyed the Rodez-Stone, Bryte & Panther segments. How can you not love a show where I.R.S. appears? You just can't. I thought the brawl between GPX-BT and later the NNMX was strong. I wanted those 3 teams to be involved in something big, and I thought what's better than having a brawl that goes all over the place? I had two weeks to write but I didn't get around to writing the whole thing until Monday, so I wasn't sure how it'd come out in the end. Overall, I'm pleased with it. Sly & Crystal taught the kiddies great sportsmanships...only to find out being bad is better. Thrillogy ass-kicking! Nice to see Caboose show up for the final minute-and-a-half.

    AngleSlam 2004

    * POW POW POW POW POW * A hard rock guitar riff blares in the background as fireworks explode inside the sold out London Arena. The lights come up as the fireworks subside, the fans go wild, waving their signs, mugging for the camera. Live AngleSlam London, England Close up shot of a giant, metallic "AS." We zoom back to reveal the entranceway, being guarded by two Beefeaters (the guys who stand still, wearing those long, funny tall hats) inches away from the rampway, two plasma screens on each side of the set. Then we cut to the happiest place on earth, SOFA CENTRAL~! where 3 C is standing by. COLE This is AngleSlam! It's the thrid one. It's the OAOAST's U.K. roadtrip. And we're live as live can be from the beautiful London Arena in, well, London, England. COACH (English accent) Jolly 'ol England, chap. CABOOSE Just stick to the stereotypical black man, Coach. COACH Boomshakalaka. COLE What a great card we have in store for you tonight. To run down the evening, we send it over to our broadcast colleauge "Mean" Gene, who's with "Cowboy" Bill Watts. Gene, it's all yours baby. Watts' name received a mixed reaction. Apparently people don't like authority. Crane shot takes us from SOFA CENTRAL to the interview position near the ramp. MEAN GENE Yes, sir! A great crowd on hand to experience the intense competition of the OAOAST. While the Summer Games are wrapping up, ours is just getting started. With me is the Chairman of the OAOAST board of directors, "Cowboy" Bill Watts. Bill, what a crowd. Again, the crowd boos Watts before he even utters a word. WATTS This is a very exciting night for us, Gene, our first pay-per-view event held completely overseas, and the fans in London -- the U.K. in general -- have been gracious. The OAOAST has come a long way from being that underground rebel without a cause, to being the premiere sports commodity in the game today. We thank all ours fans across the globe for their support. Onto business. The card is stacked with matches that would be main events in any other promotion, but you can only see them here at AngleSlam. We're gonna kick things off with the 24/7 title bout, and end the night with the World's title match. Later tonight, one "Female Phenom" will have the opportunity of a lifetime to win a title very few people in this sport will have the honor of winning, that being the OAOAST Championship. A lot of people have compared tonight's main event to the Billy Jean King-Bobby Riggs tennis match in the 1970s. This is bigger than Billy Jean-Bobby Riggs. We have two superstars in their prime facing off for the biggest prize in sports. Whether Zack likes me or not is irrelevant, because he knows what a honor it is to walk around with the OAOAST Championship over his shoulder. In addition to that huge matchup, we also have Hoff vs. Gunner Sharps in a 24/7 title match, Panther vs. Bryte, Stone vs. Rodez, The Saints vs. C.O.D., 4 way tag with $10,000 on the line, Barbed Wire Purgatory and much much more. If AngleMania is wrestling's holy grail, then AngleSlam is wrestling nirvana. What a night this promises to be. Let's hook 'em up! The crowd may have been booing Watts earlier, but they're ready to hook 'em up like "Cowboy" said. MEAN GENE All right. 3 C, back to you. CABOOSE Ugh...I think I ate too many nachos. I'll...gurgle...ulp.........I'll be right back!!! Caboose dashes away from Sofa Central, doubled over in abdominal pain. COACH Ugh, pukatronic! COLE We're all set for our opening contest, but I'm just getting word that Josh Matthews is in the back, with Hoff! COACH With Hoff? COLE With Hoff! Josh, you there? The cameras cut back to Josh Matthews, and the 24/7 Champion, Hoff, in his ring gear and ready to go! JOSH Hey guys, I'm with Hoff, and Hoff has something to say-- Hoff grabs the microphone with an excited smile. HOFF Ladies and gentlemen, welcome.....to ANGLESLAM!!! The crowd goes wild as Hoff laughs. HOFF Now, I want everyone to listen to what I'm saying, because once again, this is very, very important. You see, this is gonna be a big night for the Thrillogy. Zack Malibu, ending the career of that little skank Crystal. Calvin Szechstein, beating Sly within an inch of his life. This is going to be the greatest night of the summer. The fans' cheers turn to boos. HOFF But what this night will be most remembered for, when fans ten years from now look back, will be Hoff's final and ultimate triumph over Gunner Sharps, once and for all ridding the OAOAST of the menace known as the Bleeding Souls. The chorus of boos explodes, and a "Gunner" chant goes up in the crowd. HOFF Oh, yeah, chant his name all you want! It doesn't matter! Tonight is my night, and that's why I have chosen to come out first tonight. JOSH You're...you're coming out first for your match... Hoff shoots Josh a perturbed look. HOFF No, you fool! I'm not just coming out first for my match. I am coming out first for the entire show. So that when you look back, when you remember what happened tonight, the first thing on your mind will be me. Hoff throws the microphone back at Josh, gives the 24/7 Title around his waist a quick shine, and heads out the curtain.

    PPV names wanted

Some of you may know we currently do not have names for our September & November events, so I'm asking you, the people, to help name them. The names for last years events were Dirty Deeds (September) & Deadly Games (November). They could return if you want them, and I'd like to know what we're running with so we can plug it during AngleSlam. Let the name game begin! Here are some names Parka threw out (from something he did months back with friends I believe): Total Annihilation Global Warfare Demolition Derby Champions of the Ring (It was a King of the Ring like PPV every year) Ring Wars Street Brawl Independence Day Summer Heat Rage in the Cage The Ultimate Brawl The Last Battle A Night to Remember

The funny thing is, I'd be dumb enough to go with that. Hey, I was the one who came up with most of the silly subtitles, and nearly used "It's an Angle, Angle, Angle, World" in April after dropping plans to use it as a Road to AM-type event when I went AWOL in late 2003. School of Hardknocks will replace School's Out next year. EDIT: \SoHK could become School's Out subtitle.

    FEEDBACK for the 8/19 show

I celebrated a birthday Friday so I've been lazy as hell the last few days. That said, I read the show like a Playboy magazine--looked at the pics (i.e. promos--which were great) while taking the ocassional look at the articles (matches). Patty continues to do an amazing job with The Saints, two guys who would probably be stale as hell had I continued to write for them, especially when I'm writing a lot of the tag division stuff. Glad to see you stick with the "Almost Famous" name. Never seen the movie, but liked the name. I thought the segments Papacita & NY Untouchable wrote were great as well. Those are two guys who bring the content. The NNMX title win has been in the works for about 4 months now, well before the NNMX debuted, so it was good seeing my men defeat Zack's boys. Expect further chaos in the tag divison to continue this week. Last weeks event's affected a number of teams. Man, my feedback sucked. But I had a good excuse! I'm sure AS will receive a lot of feedback, all of our PPVs do.

    PPV names wanted

Market research suggests kids love the names. And for those who care, names still haven't been picked yet. You have until Saturday to find a name for Sept. or Dirty Deeds will return. Or I could let the OAOAST Champion pick the names.

BOOKING for the 8/26 show from Ann Arbor

    PPV names wanted

The show was set to return until I saw the SWF using the name a few months after we did our A2A. Remember the OAOAST's version took place on the VM forum (for those who remember that) before moving back here. Another useless tidbit: we either called it "Ashes II Ashes" (pretty sure this is the name we stuck with) or "Ashes 2 Ashes". I guess we could use DUST TO DUST. I'm thinking of going with Downfall & Deadly Games if a clear favorite doesn't emerge.
  16. Tony149

Who will get the World Title first?

Damn! You're a human OAOAST encyclopedia. I completely forgot about that. Nowadays, the kiddies couldn't care less about history, so my many great matches with Inoki, Race, Flair, etc, have long been forgotten.

Who will get the World Title first?

Hoff, because he knows Zack. And everybody knows this business is about who you know, not who's best. It's all about The Franchise. I would say myself (for being co-creator of the OAOAST) but I'm a better-looking Bobby Eaton (Who? Midnight Express, baby!) -- best as tag team wrestler who'll break into singles competition every now and then. Hoff & Drek would be my choices. EDIT: I endorsed Hoff. But Drek's cool too.

    Feedback for the 8/12 show

No, I had asked Zack to write it (taking him up on his offer to do so) but I guess he was too busy this week. It would of been GPX's victory promo with the board of directors presenting them the new (and great-looking) tag titles. Maybe if I had a pair of tits he would of squeezed that in. Watts could of opened the show, but you probably saw it was tagged with the music video and figured they go together. Video packages detailing feuds have been done in the past but I never thought they looked good; they either were too long or had too much filler. I basically "clipped" the tag match, keeping all the big spots and using "audio" during key points. A "video" will also be used for the opening of AS.

    Feedback for the 8/12 show

If I skipped anything, my bad. It was a good length show this week. Good opening match involving the Bryant Cousins. Nice way to debut the new tag. But I'm biased to anything that boosts the tag division. The Saints-COD angle continues to be a hit, loved every minute of it. I like the way Patty spices HD up with the fonts, italics, etc. Especially the way he keeps in whatever the others use to spice up their stuff as well. Excellent. Dug the Hoff-Stevens back-to-back promos. The next segment of the show was something we rarely attempt -- "video packages." I like the fact it put over GPX's huge win and BT. It was something done in the last minute as I wasn't sure whether or not I'd have the time to cook that up while writing the Frankensteiners debut, Watts' statement and the NNMX promo/match against the Love Doctors. Plus I love the fact it was done old school, complete with hit '80s rock song. Sticking with my old school fix -- I loved doing Watts' promo, from his office. Reminded me of the days of Jack Tunney giving a statement on WWF happenings. R.I.P. tinted blue tag belt. If you're wondering why the Frankensteiners match seemed short, see two paragraphs above. When it comes to match writing, I'm still new to it. Remember, I was never a regular until I hooked up with Eskimo to form Black T. So I'm sorta like a rookie. :lol Liked Caboose's comments concerning the...technical problems LTP experienced. Nice cover-up. Parka's stuff continues to bring the suspense. Well done. GPX's title regin got off to a good start with a W or The Saints. Enjoyed SJ-Hyland, although I kinda wish I would of read that match before the show went up. I wanted BT to take the week off, especially T-Bod who got suplexed off a ladder into the ring, but it is what it is. T-Bod is now Superman! I thought the NNMX-LD match was handled well. Much like everything I wrote this week, it was sorta rushed but it did its job. HH joining up with Cornette & the NNMX? Hm. Awesome, awesome promo from the Champ & the challenger. Loved Gertner's cameo. That's why Zack's one of the best promo guys in the business. Haven't read all of the main event, but I did read the finish. I now must edit the Title History thread. One last thing. Had I known there wouldn't be a GPX promo I would of showcased the new tag title belt. For those wondering why the hell Watts mentioned the new belts but they were nowhere to been seen, here it is:

    AngleSlam booking thread

Patty suggested holding the show in the UK. I'm for it if the others are as well. And we could do a show from the MOA at some point. Whatever the people want. BTW, thanks for the graphic, Parka.

    Feed-back for the 8/5 HD~!

Thanks to those givin' the love to the tag division. It wasn't long ago when Eskimo & I thought the division was screwed; we were the only active team, and we had to control our own opponents (HH & GPX) until more guys got involved. Now the division is in a boom period. And big thanks to those who voted in the Interactive poll. Now, that's a poll with a payoff. GPX. I don't consider myself hip, so writing their characters can be challenging for me, especially with their high use of slang. When writing for them I just think of something stupid and mix in some seriousness. Watts & J.R. Simple: J.R. wants to be the voice of the OAOAST again. Him & Watts are good friends, and rarely -- if ever -- do you see him verbally bash Watts. While J.R. is living life now he knows he's better than Cole & Coach combine, and likes to showcasing his skills whenever possible. I thought the match commentary to the ME was very strong. I feel it was my best ever. When the crowd chanted "REST HOLD," I loved having Watts explain why it was such a brilliant move on Scotty's part. While I haven't read all the matches, I thought the promos were excellent. Easily one of the best HD's of all-time.
