    Booking for 5/20

By now, you guys should know the deadlines are never met or enforced. Yeah, we throw out dates (mine are normally a day before the PPV; Popick is usual a few days earlier) but that's only a target date. If it weren't for Chuck creating a thread where I found out most of you start writing your matches the day of the PPV or that week, we wouldn't give out a "deadline." For those who are thinking too much about the deadline, just have to Popick by Sunday morning, afternoon, night -- whenever you finish it. From now on we'll just say "have it to us (whoever posts the show) by Sunday night."

Eh. I'm disappointed in the Spurs. I wasn't surprised they lost games 3 & 4 in LA, but that damn shot f'd up everything. Oh, well. The Spurs are still young (outside Willis and Horry) so they're built to win for the next few years. At least they didn't cry.

Tarantino Wants to Tackle James Bond

I'm all for Tarantino doing a Bond film. Supposedly MGM/EON aren't that excited about OT's desire to do a film, but if he can land a meeting with the producers, maybe he could convince them. Tarantino has said in the last few months they (the producers and studio) have "nothing to lose" by letting him do one...and he's right.

Holy fuck! Last night my posts were gone and now its there again. Malibu, disregard my PM from yesterday (you probably did, you smart bastard ) I'm still suffering from that horrible Spurs/Lakers game 5 finish. If I have time (still have to finish up the PPV match) there might be a T-Bod/Jackson rematch. No promises. Like I said, I'll do it if I have the time.

I completely agree. The way LA has been this year, I wouldn't be surprise if they go into game 6 thinking their hot shit again only to lose. If there's going to be a team who wins an elimination game -- on the road, for that matter -- it'll be the Spurs. I'm sure Pop is breaking out Rudy T's "Never underestimate the heart of a champion" quote. Once LA won games 3 & 4 there was no doubt in my mind the series was going seven, and I still believe that. Of course I thought SA would win game 5, with LA taking game 6.

Ah, okay. I didn't notice Popick listed the 23rd as the date. Should we move up all the PPVs, then? LPYC mentioned how it keeps HD 4 weeks before the PPV, if the GAB sticks with the last Sunday of the month, it'll be 5 weeks before the PPV. So the 20th or the 27th for the Great Angle Bash?

The PPV is May 30th, the last Sunday of the month. Or are we going to bump it up a week?

I was wondering about the shot myself. I thought you could only catch and shoot with .7, anything else you had to tip-in. A helluva shot, though. As for who could beat LA... I would say Minn. since they play D, but the Kings can light it up, and they could get their shot to finally slay Goliath. I do think Minn/Sac would have a better shot against LA than the Spurs. The only problem I have with LA winning is the media cocksucking that's bound to re-ignite. Stay tune for ESPN's 101 reasons LA rules. I'm sure the Commish is pissing his pants that his golden boys are 1 game closer from getting rid of those pesty Spurs.

Unfuckingbelieveable! I told a buddy watching the game, LA deserved to win if they could hit that shot with .4 remaining, and my God... I still can't believe it. I thought Duncan had made the game winner, but damn. Just damn. I wouldn't rule out there being a game 7, but it'll be tough.

Man, this is just like last year's game 3. In the back of every Spurs fans' mind, they knew this would probably happen. The Spurs still have a good shot at taking this one since they're only down 10 and the Lakers have gotten tired in the 4th the previous two games.

Anybody want a tag title shot? (Pending approval from Eskimo)
  13. If I read your post correctly, you're getting the first WW of 1992. If so, Ventura eventually becomes Schiavone's co-host after Superbrawl II -- Jesse's first full-time show -- which was in Feb. (Although he broadcasted the Rude/Austin vs. Sting/Steamboat match at Clash of the Champions XVII).

So, now that Brosnan is out...

A lot of people seem to think Hugh Jackman is next in line. Personally, I'd like to see EON/MGM give Quentin Tarantino a shot at "Casino Royale." Tarantino has said many times he'd love to do a Bond film, and Brosnan has backed him. Of course EON & MGM don't seem too big with that idea. Anyway, here's a little something that was posted at Commanderbond.net

    Feedback for the 4/29 HD

I thought the show was very soild. While I knew about Zack's turn in advance, it's still a sight to behold. It was one of those things that you'll believe when you see it, and we saw it. I look forward to seeing what heel Zack can do. Especially since School's Out is his show. I had planned on "retiring" until AM IV, but when Mystery Eskimo asked if I had any interest in forming a tag team, I jumped at the chance to try something different. We hope to bring the tag division to another level. That's been one thing that has never really caught on since everybody wants to do their own thing. Hopefully we can see a few more tag matches besides the tag titles being defended.

    Who have been double champions?

Yes. They beat Creative Control (Ron & Don Harris) on Thunder, then lost them days later on Nitro to Hall & Nash.
  17. I can help you out with some. Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker (WCW Power Plant trainer) was a member of the The State Patrol tag team. They were jobbers. The Motor City Madman was your typical fat guy dressed in a black tank top and jeans. He was brought into WCW when Ole Anderson had the book, since he was cheap talent. TMCM appeared on one Clash of the Champions, and has a PPV appearance teaming with The Big Cat (who'd became Mr. Hughes) jobbing to the Sid & Dan Spivy (Sp?) at Starrcade '90. The Nightstalker was Bryan Clarke, aka Adam Bomb, Wrath and apart of the tag team KroniK with Brain "Crush" Adams. He teamed with Rick Steiner at Starrcade '91, losing to Vader & Mr. Hughes in the Lethal Lottery. Ranger Ross was in the mold of Sgt. Slaughter, only used mostly as a jobber. His bigger claim to fame, if you will, was getting caught robbing a bank in the '90s.

Spurs finished off Memphis, sweeping them. To be honest, I'm surprised. I thought this series would go 5, 6 at the most. Parker was great yet again. If a team is going to beat LA, the Spurs are that team. They'll be heading into that series on a 15 game win streak.

    Feed back for LA 2004

The reason why was because I hadn't finished the credits yet (still had to add PR's stuff). NorthStar posted the show using what I had completed (I put out my version as well, which is pretty much what NS posted, but I spent so much time putting it together I put it out there).

    The Year of Living Angleously

MC Well, folks...this is what we've been waiting for. This is our huge main event for this evening, as Zack Malibu, the OAOAST Heavyweight Champion of the World, Zack Malibu, will make his first defense; facing the first graduate of his wrestling school, and the number one contender to the title, Sly Sommers. COACH Sly has gotten more and more personal as the weeks go on, first bringing up that Malibu had, in fact, trained him but had hid that fact due to his shame of Sly's braggartness, and then accusing Zack of being an abusive and downright mean person. CABOOSE It looks like Sly's mind games ended up working, as we saw Thursday night on HeldDOWN~!, as Sly and Zack got into a brawl that ended up with Sly being able to psych Zack out and nail him with his own "School's Out" superkick. How will that play into things tonight? MC And remember what we heard from DOA Abe Vigoda on Thursday: the rules will be relaxed for this match so that these two can beat the hatred out of each other and get it out of their systems once and for all! COACH Let's stop the talking, and get to the wrestling! "Orange Crush" starts up, and Sly Sommers comes out to the ring. He stands right outside of the entrance and pumps one closed fist in the air, before walking to the ring, obviously concentrated on his huge World Title match. MC This is, without a doubt, the biggest match of Sly Sommers's career, and looking at him, you can definately tell that he knows it! "Bring Me To Life" starts up, and Zack Malibu comes out to a GIMONGOUS pop! Zack charges to the ring, and tosses the belt onto the ring steps once he makes it down the aisle, before running into the ring. The referee and a couple of ring assistants have to charge into the ring to keep Zack in his corner for the opening announcements. * DING DING DING DING * BUFFER The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a one hour time limit. It is sanctioned by the OAOAST Governing Bodies Of Order, the OAOAST Office, Bill Watts, and the illustrious Director of Authority, Abe Vigoda. It will be a classic struggle between the teacher and the student he never wanted. Tonight, either the old guard will keep their grasp on top, or the new breed will rise to the occasion. Without any further ado...are you ready? (decent pop) I said...ARE YOU READY? (big pop) For the thousands in attendance, and the millions watching at home...LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! (big pop) BUFFER Introducing first, the challenger....he hails from Bayside, California, and weighs in tonight at 195 pounds. He earned his title shot tonight by defeating Peter Knight at last month's Anglemania III mega-event, and was a finalist in the 2004 OAOAST Super X Cup tournament...he is one-third of Totally Endorsed...Sly "The Sly" Sommers! (Sly steps onto the second rope and poses, as the majority of the crowd boos him.) BUFFER And his opponent...he hails from Los Angeles, California, and weighs in tonight, also at 195 pounds. Throughout the years, he has proven himself to be a definitive cornerstone of the OAOAST. He is a current, reigning, and defending two-time OAOAST Heavyweight Champion of the WOOOOOOOOORLD! Ladies and gentlemen, Zack Malibu! (gigantic pop, as Zack just intensely stares at Sly) * DING DING * Both men rush to the center of the ring, and immediately engage in a collar-and-elbow lock-up. Neither man can get the other to budge an inch. Both men get the same idea, and drop down to their stomaches while keeping ahold of the lock-up at the same time. They then both try to twist out in the same direction at the same time, ending up in the same predicament, but moved over to the side. Malibu then slips his arms out of the lock-up, and jumps on top of Sly, hooking his thigh and arm. Malibu then ball-and-chains Sly, and goes into a pin.......1......kickout! MC An early pin attempt from the champion does nothing but fail. Sly rolls onto his stomach when he kicks out, and goes for a front facelock. But, Malibu immediately slips his head out of the hold and locks in a front facelock of his own. Sly tries pulling his head out of the front facelock, but Zack keeps it cinched in too tight. Zack eventually gets enough momentum that he is able to rise to his feet, and shove Sly's face down to the mat. COACH Zack is using his veteran edge to get into Sly's head early on in this contest. Sly punches the mat in frustration, and then goes into referee's position, telling Zack to get behind him and start grappling. Zack gets behind Sly, and locks in a reverse waistlock, wrapping his legs around Sly's right thigh to keep himself stationary. Sommers then rolls around frantically, but no matter what he does, Malibu stays on him. Zack then converts his waistlock to a double chicken wing, and rolls Sly into a tiger bridge pin.......1.......2...Sly rolls back to a seated position, albeit still stuck in the double chicken wing. Sly attempts to bridge up to his feet, but Zack places his right foot in front of Sly, and shoves him down for a legsweep. MC Zack is out-wrestling Sommers at every opening. Zack then rolls back into another tiger bridge, and goes for the cover............1................2...............kickout! Sly then rolls back to a seated position and repeatedly moves in a circle so that Zack can't trap his legs to complete the double chicken-wing. Zack eventually keeps Sly in one place by hopping up, and locking in a bodyscissors. Sly pushes down on Zack's thighs to get out of the hold, but Zack's legs are too strong to power out of. Sly then attempts to roll out, but again Malibu keeps his legs locked together to keep the bodyscissors applied. CABOOSE He has to be cutting off the blood supply to the upper-body of Sommers. Sommers then leans back to trap Malibu's shoulders to the canvas.........1.....Zack pushes himself back up. Sly then tries for it again, struggling to get backwards momentum. He finally does, and bridges to keep Zack down.........1.........2.....Zack kicks out, and rolls Sly into a side headlock. Malibu then pulls Sly to his feet using the side headlock, and nails a beautiful headlock takeover. Malibu keeps the headlock applied, but Sly attempts to reverse with a headscissors. But, with every attempt, Malibu puts his arm up and shoves Sly's leg away. Sommers then attempts to pin Zack down on his shoulders, but Malibu scissors Sly's far arm so that he can't use it to shove him down. MC Zack's been at this far longer than Sommers, and therefore knows so many more little tricks than his former student. Sly's back on his stomach, but he places his palms on the mat and pushes out of the headlock. Zack immediately hops off of the mat and locks in a waistlock, but the momentum sends both men into the ropes, forcing a rope break. Both men then go to opposite sides of the ring, and come to the center again. They lock hands to begin a Greco-Roman knucklelock, but Sly twists Zack's arm after they lock fists for the first one, but Zack reverses the wristlock by dropping to his knees and pulling Sly down into a fireman's carry takedown. Zack goes for a chinlock, but Sly twists out immediately, and hops to a front facelock. Sly pulls Zack up to a bent position, and nails a sunset flip...............1..................2..............Zack rolls out, and goes for Sly's leg. But, Sly pulls Zack in for a small package.......1.........2.....kickout! CABOOSE The student might surpass the teacher, you morons! Both men come to their feet, and Zack goes for a double-leg takedown. But, Sly comes up above Zack, and hooks Zack's waist. So, Zack lifts Sly, and drives him down into the mat back-first. Zack then climbs on top of Sly in the guard position, and starts giving him a series of stiff palm strikes to the side of Sly's face. Zack then goes for a keylock, but Sommers elevates his knees and sends Malibu over with a form of a monkey flip. Sly then rolls back into a front choke. MC I'll give credit where credit is due...Sommers is currently finding holes in his former trainer's game that might have come with some cockiness due to his domination early on. Malibu uses his leg strength to reverse that by rolling it into a Northern Lights bridge........1..........2.........Sly gets his shoulder up, and then grabs Zack's neck and twists it for a reverse cravate. Zack tries pulling his head out, but he can't. So, he twists his entire body, escapes, and locks in a front chancery (front facelock with one arm hooked). Zack rises to his feet with Sly, and Sly charges Zack backward, sending both men through the top and middle ropes, and out of the ring! MC I think the aggression's starting to set in! The referee then orders that both men split apart and come back into the ring. They begrudingly seperate, and go back to their corners. They both go for another knucklelock, and get one fist locked together. Zack then uses that to attempt to lift Sly on his shoulders. But, Sommers slips out the back end, and locks in a half-nelson. Sly then slips underneath the arm, and brings Zack over with an armdrag. Sly then then tries to hold Zack's arm out flat to drop his knee on, but Zack gets out of this predicament by repeatedly delivering knees to the side of Sly's head. Zack then rolls the move into a crossface chickenwing. COACH Zack's not nearly out yet! Zack can't get the move all the way over due to Sly hooking onto his leg with the free arm. Zack transitions that failed attempt into a schoolboy, but Sly brings Zack over and into a cross armbreaker before the referee can come down to count. Zack pushes himself onto his feet, and lifts Sly up, dropping him quickly with an inverted powerbomb-like drop. Zack turns Sly around, and attempts a katzahajime choke. But, Sly rolls over and hooks Zack's legs for a cradle pin..............1...................2................Zack reverses the move into a headscissors. MC Malibu's coming out of all predicaments with a reversal! Sly gets out of the hold by repeatedly punching Zack's right leg. Once the hold is broken, it gives him the window of opportunity to come to his feet and attempt a standing ankle crank. But, Zack then attempts a front kick with the free leg. Sly grabs the leg, but Zack uses that to pull himself off of the mat, and use Sly's own body against him defensively. Zack then repeatedly delivers headbutts to Sly's forehead, with the fifth sending Sly falling to his back, with Zack landing on top of him in the guard position. COACH The more things change, the more they stay the same... CABOOSE Will you shut up? Zack then puts his shins near Sly's elbows, and repeatedly delivers knee strikes to Sly's face. Zack then hooks Sly's head, and leans backwards for a front choke. But, Sly is able to push outward with his legs and bridge for a pin......1........almost two! Both guys then roll sideways, and end up with their legs intertwined for dueling frog headstands. Zack and Sly then exchange stiff palm thrusts to each other's faces. Back and forth they go with the strikes, before both men fall to their backs. Both men come back to their feet, and Sly rolls Zack onto his back with a side waistlock, and then pins him with a schoolboy............1...........2......kickout! MC Nice fluenty by Sly. CABOOSE Use English next time, buddy. Zack keeps ahold of Sly, and rolls that into an inverted La Magistral...........1..........2........kickout! Both men get back up, and Sly grabs on with a reverse waistlock. Zack reverses with a standing switch. Zack then hooks Sly's head, and brings him over with an odd reverse snapmare. Zack immediately follows up with a basement dropkick. Zack then drops to the mat, and locks in a front facelock. Zack transitions that into a horizontal electric chair headscissors, which he then rolls into a victory roll cradle.......1.................2...............Sly rolls to his side. Zack struggles, and rolls Sly back on his shoulders.........1...........2.......Sly bridges himself upward. He uses his vantage point with his arms underneath Zack's knees to push up and roll Zack onto his stomach. Sly then applies a headlock. COACH This has become a much more mat-based contest than I would imagine, possibly due to the history between these two in Zack's training school. Sly stands with the headlock, but Zack gets out of it by putting his leg in front of Sly's and shoving him onto his stomach. Zack then applies a headlock of his own. Sly can't squeeze out of it, so he lifts Zack in hopes of dropping him with a back suplex. But, Zack reverses that by rolling Sly over and onto his back with a headlock takeover. Sly can't squeeze out, so he wraps his arms around Zack's waist, and brings him over for a side cradle............1............2........kickout! Both men rise back up, and Zack plasters Sly with a forearm so hard that it sends Sly through the ropes and to the floor! MC He just MURDERED Sly with that shot! Zack climbs to the ringside floor. Sly is bent over in pain, and Zack charges at him, connecting with a stiff kick to the side of his head! The impact of the kick spins Sly around into the guardrail. Zack then lifts Sly, and crotches him on the guardrail. Zack then steps back to about eight-ten feet away from Sly. Zack charges forward, and dives into Sly, sending both of them into the crowd! COACH I think Zack's determined to kill Sly Sommers, even if it means hurting his own body in the process! Zack gets up, and tosses Sly back to the floor at ringside. Zack then grabs a beer from a fan and climbs over the guardrail. When Sly stumbles to his feet, Zack attempts to hit Sly with it. But, Sly kicks Zack's hand, and the beer goes flying into his own eyes. Sly then grabs Zack by the back of the head, and shoves his head into the ringpost. Sly tosses Zack into the ring, and climbs back in himself. Sly then lifts Zack off of the mat with a cravate. Zack shakes the cobwebs off, and reverses with another waistlock. MC Look at this skill...they go outside the ring to fight, but yet they still come back to prove themselves skill-wise. Sly can't squeeze out of the waistlock, so he performs a go-behind and locks in a reverse cravate. Zack slowly twists his head, and pulls out. He keeps ahold of Sly's wrist and pulls him in for the School's Out Superkick. Sly ducks, and grabs the leg that Zack threw the kick with. Sly then trips up Zack, and slams his leg down repeatedly on the mat. MC It looks like Sly is targetting Zack's leg so Zack cannot connect with either his signature superkick or Shining Wizard. CABOOSE Sly Sommers, like I've said time after time, is the thinking man's wrestler. Sly then places Zack's leg on the second rope, and stomps at it five times in a row. Sly then runs, comes off of the ropes, and tries to dropkick Zack's leg. But, Zack moves his leg and Sly lands on the back of his neck. Zack then pulls Sly up, and shoves him into a corner. Zack nails Sly with a series of loud, stiff chops that end up making Sly's chest look like bloody meat. Zack then pulls Sly out of the corner, and whips him off to the ropes. Zack nails a drop toe hold, sending Sly onto his stomach. Zack then nails two snap legdrops, coming off of the ropes both times. He finishes up with a brutal jumping kneedrop. COACH He's not trying to beat Sly; he's trying to injure him. Zack sits Sly up, and delivers a series of brutal crossface shots to Sly's head. Zack then pulls Sommers to his feet, and sends him back down with a stiff European uppercut. Zack sits Sly up again, and delivers a series of stiff spinal tap kicks to Sly's back. Zack then takes off, bounces off of the ropes, and delivers a stiff knee to Sly's face, busting his eye open in the process. CABOOSE Look what you people's supposed "hero" has done! MC All's fair in war...no love involved here. Zack then drags Sly over to the corner, where he places him face-first on the bottom turnbuckle. Zack then grabs the top rope with both hands, and repeatedly jumps on Sly's back with both feet. Zack steps off, and walks to the center of the ring. Zack then runs, and nails a devastating basement dropkick to the back of Sly's head! Zack then pulls Sly out of the corner, and slams him in such a way that he's able to kick the back of Sly's neck as Sly comes down. Zack quickly climbs to the second rope, and connects with a falling headbutt. COACH I don't see Sly surviving such a brutal beating! Zack goes for the cover..............1............2..........kickout! Zack angrily pulls Sly to a seated position, and delivers three double-knees to the back of Sly's head. Zack then pulls Sly up, and delivers a snap suplex. Zack holds on, pulls Sly up, and delivers a second. Zack holds on, pulls Sly up, and delivers a third. Zack then holds on, pulls Sly up, and nails an impressive Petey Williams Neckbreaker (swinging neckbreaker out of suplex position)! Zack holds on, and rolls back to his feet. He hooks Sly's neck alone, and drops him with a DDT! MC That was an excellent chain of manuevers by Zack Malibu! COACH That last DDT left a blood stain on the mat from the cut on Sly's eye! Zack then stands on Sly's hair and yanks up on his arm, hurting him in a very disrespectful way. Zack pulls Sly up, and repeatedly headbutts him in the head, each headbutt stiffer and more hard-hitting than the one before it. Zack then hooks his dazed opponent, and drives him back down to the mat hard with an STO. Zack goes for the cover................1...............2.........rope break! Zack pulls Sly up, and forearms him in the face to send him to the outside again. Zack goes to the apron, and waits for Sly to rise to his feet. When Sly groggily stumbles upward, Zack gets a running start, leaps off, and nails a flying knee strike to the back of Sly's head, sending Sly face-first onto the concrete! CABOOSE Come on...Sly's out on his feet! MC I think Zack won't stop until Sly is out, period! Zack pulls up Sly, and slams him on the concrete floor back-first with a snap suplex. Zack then takes the timekeeper's chair. He sets it up near Sly, and pulls Sly to his feet. He then hooks Sly's head, and drops him face-first on the chair with a DDT, opening a wound right above the bridge of Sly's nose. Zack pulls up Sly, and drops him face-first on the top of the guardrail with a Snake Eyes, trying to open the wound even further. Zack then knees Sly in the gut, and drops him in a seated position. Zack then throws a series of rapid-fire punches, with each landing right on the freshly-opened wound. Zack follows up with a sick field goal kick to Sly's jaw. Zack notices that his right hand is covered with Sly's blood. Zack then rubs a line of the blood under each eye, creating some sort of sadistic warpaint with it. MC To think, this is how far Sly's gotten into Zack's head! He hates the guy so much that he's using his blood for warpaint! Zack then tosses Sly back into the ring. Zack re-enters himself, and pulls Sly up. Zack sends Sly off to the ropes. Sly bounces off, and attempts for a flying headscissors. Zack catches Sly midway, and reverses with a Flatliner. Malibu pulls Sly up, and picks him up in slam position. Zack then drops Sly with a front slam, right in front of a corner. Zack climbs to the middle rope, and drops a Vader Bomb-style elbow drop. Zack goes for the cover..............1...............2...........Sly barely kicks out! Zack angrily pulls Sly to his feet, and goes for a suplex. However, Sly slips out of the back end, and brings him over for a schoolboy while holding the tights........................1.............................2.................ki ckout! Both men come back up, and Sly scores again with a tornado DDT. Sly goes for the cover...............1................2...........kickout! CABOOSE My boy's got some fight left in him! Both men come back up, and Sly goes for a punch. Zack ducks under, and spins Sly around. Zack lifts Sly, and drops him with an inverted atomic drop. Zack then chains that move with his next one, the Bareback. Zack then takes time to look to the crowd and encourage them to cheer. Most do, but some are bewildered by Zack's harder edge in this match. MC It seems like some of Zack's fans don't like this new Zack Malibu. Zack then jumps to the second rope, and nails a beautiful moonsault. Zack goes for the cover...........1............2........kickout! Zack frustratedly pulls Sly up, and hooks his head in reverse DDT position. He then brings him over for a reverse suplex. Zack turns it over, lifts Sly up, and drops him with another. Zack turns that over, pulls Sly up, and drops him with a third reverse suplex. Zack then turns it over, lifts Sly up, and drops him with an impressive split-legged Curtain Call. COACH Zack's really shown off his chaining skills in this contest, throwing together many moves for chain-like sequences. Zack then climbs to the second rope yet again, and comes down with a big double-stomp, bringing all of his weight down on Sly's mid-section. Zack then pulls Sly up, and puts him in gutwrench position. Zack then lifts Sly, and drops him with a tombstone-style reverse Styles Clash slam. Zack rolls Sly into a victory cradle..........1..............2..........kickout! Zack lifts Sly up, and while holding him up with his hair, stiffly forearms him in the back of the head. Zack then lifts Sly up for a side suplex, and drops him on his knee with a backbreaker. Zack then hooks Sly's neck, and brings him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Zack sits Sly up, and tries to go for a Hennig Neck Snap. But, Sly rolls onto his back, and catapults Zack with a monkey flip! COACH I'm going to commend Sly for his performance in this contest. Zack's given him all he has, and he's been busted open twice so far. I doubt he can see well out of that cut eye, but he's giving it his all and is still in the game! Both men come back up, and Sly charges at Zack. But, Zack moves and Sly goes shoulder-first into the ringpost so hard that he rolls over the middle rope and out of the ring. Zack then shakes off his cobwebs, and goes to the outside. Zack pulls Sly up, and lifts him in an electric chair. Zack then drops Sly throat-first across the top of the guardrail. Zack slaps Sly in the back of his head, making Sly slide his positioning on the guardrail from his throat to his mouth. Zack then holds Sly's head there, and forearms him in the back of the head, causing two of Sly's teeth to crack! MC He practically curbed him! CABOOSE I had no clue Zack Malibu was in American History X! Zack then lifts Sly up in a side suplex-like manner, and drops him face-first on the guardrail again, increasing the bloodflow coming out of Sly's already-crimson forehead. Zack then tosses Sly into the ring. Zack climbs in himself, and pulls Sly off of the canvas. Zack hooks Sly's head over his shoulder, and brings him down with a Joe Legend-like Stone Cutter! Zack goes for the cover............1.............2.........the referee notices that Sly's leg is underneath the bottom rope, and forces a rope break. COACH With his veteran expertise, I'm surprised Zack made such a mental error! MC In the heat of the battle, sometimes you don't think too much. CABOOSE What would YOU know about battle, you shrink-wrapped Ryan Seacrest ripoff? Zack pulls Sly off of the canvas, and now all of Sly's hair is soaked in his own blood. Zack then hooks both of Sly's arms, and drives him down on his knee with a double-underhook face drop. Zack then takes off to the ropes, and kicks a bent Sly in the side of the head. Sly spins around from the impact, and walks right into an Exploder suplex from Zack. Zack goes for the cover............ 1................. 2................. Kickout! Zack can't believe that Sly, in his dazed, bloody, battered state, was somehow able to kick out. Zack punches the mat in frustration. Zack then slowly pulls Sly up, and places Sly's head in between his legs. Zack lifts Sly up for a powerbomb, but Sly slips out the front end and drops Zack with a DDT out of nowhere! Both men slowly and groggily come back up, and Sly goes for a sunset flip. But, Zack rolls out and onto his feet, dropkicking Sly in the face as soon as the bottoms of his feet touch the canvas. COACH I think Sly's too de-energized at this point in the contest to base a full-blown comeback, but he does get brownie points for trying. Zack pulls Sly up, and hooks him in a pumphandle. Zack then puts his leg out in front of Sly's, and drops him back with an inverted Russian legsweep. Zack tries to float that into a brainbuster, but Sly repeatedly blocks the lift. So, Zack knees Sly in the mid-section. Zack then places Sly's head in between his legs, and goes for Sly's own Piledriver finisher. But, Sly pushes himself outward in mid-lift, and lands on his feet. Zack charges at Sly, but Sly brings him up and down with a turning sitdown slam! MC Great turnaround, but I don't think Sly has enough gas in his tank to capitalize on this opening. Zack and Sly both lackadazily come to their feet. Zack walks over to Sly, and throws a punch. Sly blocks it, and throws one of his own. Zack cocks back, and then goes for another punch. Sly blocks it and throws another punch of his own. Zack holds his jaw in pain, and then goes for another. Sly blocks it, and then rips into Zack with a bevy of rapid-fire punches and chops! Sly then takes a step back and yells at nothing to pump himself up...but then falls back due to lack of energy. Zack falls down a second later from momentum from Sly's strikes. CABOOSE If Sly would just get off of his ass and do something, we could have a new World Champion! Both men slowly get to their feet. When they're both up, Sly runs at Zack and goes for a crucifix. But, Zack reverses by lifting Sly onto his shoulders, and dropping him with a Death Valley Driver. Zack then goes for a cover after a long break................1...................2...................kickout! Zack slowly pulls Sly up, and lifts him up for a slam. Zack then tosses him back for a fallaway slam, but Sly gains his own momentum on the way back and brings Zack over for a schoolboy.....1...........2............kickout! MC Sly Sommers is showing way more heart in this match than I thought he had in him! Both men come back up, and Zack knees Sly in the side of the head as he attempts to get to his feet. Zack then goes to the apron. Zack slingshots himself over the top rope, and nails a slingshot somersault legdrop. Zack decides not to go for the cover, and instead drapes Sly over his back, and brings him down with a 3.0 Backbreaker. Zack then pulls Sly up, and lifts him for a slam. Zack then spins Sly around, and drops him with a Franchiser. Both men pop to their feet, and Zack nearly takes Sly's head off with a stiff lariat! MC Like Sly needed any more reasons to be out cold! Zack pulls Sly to his feet, and lifts him so that he's seated on the top turnbuckle and facing the crowd. Zack walks to the opposite corner, and then charges forward. But when he reaches Sly, Sly leans back, hooks Zack's head over his shoulder, and pushes outward for an inverted Stunner! Both men groggily and slowly make their way to their feet. When they do, Zack charges at Sly. But, Sly sidesteps and trips Zack, causing Zack to go flying face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Sly then pulls Zack up and out of the corner, and brings him back with a Russian legsweep! COACH Maybe Sly DOES have something left! Sly then intertwines his legs with Zack, and locks in a weird figure-four variation, with the legs folding at an acute angle. Zack tries to punch Sly, but Sly leans back so that Zack cannot reach him. Zack then slowly has to push himself to the ropes, pulling Sly's weight along with him. Zack eventually gets near the ropes, and reaches out to grab the bottom rope. Sly breaks the hold, but keeps ahold of Zack's leg. Sly wraps the leg of Zack's that he is working over around his, and nails three repeated jumping legdrops onto the canvas, crushing it each time underneath his weight. CABOOSE Sly's brilliant here...he's using offense as defense...as offense! Sly then waits for Zack to get to his feet, and stands behind him. Zack slowly gets up, using the ropes to pull himself up. Sly then charges from behind Zack, and nails a chop block to the knee. Sly then grabs the weakened leg, and goes for a spinning toe hold. But, after the second twist, Zack pulls Sly in and reverses with a small package.................1.....................2..................kickout! Both men come up, and Sly tries ducking a back elbow attempt from Zack. But, Malibu uses that to put Sly in a reverse DDT. Sly reverses, and signals for his One Hit Wonder. But, when he goes for it, Zack twists out. Zack keeps ahold of Sly's wrist, and tries pulling him in for the superkick. But, Sly catches the leg, spins Zack around, and lifts him for the Sommerset. Zack gets out of that by kicking Sly in the back of the knee. Sly falls to one knee, and Zack goes for his Zack Attack. But, Sly ducks the knee and brings Zack over for a backslide..............1...................2............kickout! MC Incredible sequence of moves, especially considering what these two have been through already! Both men come back to their feet. Sly locks in a waistlock, but Zack immediately breaks his grip and spins him around to be in front of Zack. Zack then kicks Sly in the stomach, and hooks him for the P.O.P. Drop. But, Sly is able to grab onto Zack's leg upon mid-lift, and reverses with a small package......... 1..................... 2...................... Kickout! MC Very close one there! We almost had a new champion! Both men come back up, and Zack kicks Sly in the stomach. Zack then hooks Sly's head, and drops him with a swinging split-legged neckbreaker. Zack then sits on the mat and rubs his knee, even pulling down his kneepad to try and make his knee feel better. MC I knew Sly had worked on his knee a little bit in this contest, but I didn't know it was injured this bad. CABOOSE That's probably one of the secrets that Sly knows about Zack that no one else does. Maybe he has bad knees! Zack slowly comes to his feet, and pulls Sly up. Zack then hooks Sly's head, and locks in the California Dream. Sly saw it coming, and immediately starts striking punches and high knees at Zack's head to attempt an escape. The last high knee catches Zack right on the jaw, and sends him back dazed. Sly gets to his feet, and lifts Zack up in a piggyback position. Sly then drops him with the Sommerset! COACH This could be it! Sly goes for the cover..... 1................... 2.................... thr...KICKOUT! CABOOSE Admit it: Sly almost became our new World Champion! MC I have no problem admitting that. He's worked his ass off throughout this entire match, and showed a lot of heart. Sly immediately pops up, and goes for another pin attempt with an Oklahoma Roll...... 1............... 2............... Kickout! Both men come back up, and Sly attempts to launch himself for a sunset flip. But, Zack backs up a step and catches Sly with a punch to the kidney. Sly goes down to one knee, holding his side in pain. Zack then quickly limps over to Sly and hits him with a weak Zack Attack, having to use his bad leg to hit Sly. Zack goes for the cover......... 1................. 2................ Kickout! Zack then waits for Sly to get to his feet. It takes a while, but he finally does. Sly stumbles around for a while, and Zack charges at him. Zack goes for the Yakuza Kick as Sly turns around, but Sly catches the leg, scores with a single-leg takedown, and locks in the Figure Four Leglock! COACH With the state of Zack's leg as it is, we could see a new World Champion right here! Zack tries to struggle through the pain. But, it eventually becomes too much, as he has to lay on his back to handle it. The referee counts his shoulders down to the mat...............1.............2...........Zack sits back up. Sly then pushes himself upward with his hands to increase the pain on the Figure Four, and Zack again has to lay back down to handle the pain. The referee counts his shoulders again.............1................2............Zack sits up. Zack attempts to turn the move over, but Sly's got it cinched in good enough that he cannot tip it over. Zack then starts pulling himself backward in an attempt to get to the ropes. Sly tries grabbing the thin carpetting that covers the ring mat in order to keep the move intact, but he can't get a good grip, and Zack slowly crawls to the ropes, granting himself a rope break. COACH What a struggle on that Figure Four Leglock! CABOOSE I'm sweating bullets here! Sly pulls Zack out of the ropes, and goes for the Figure Four again. This time, Zack shoves Sly off with his free leg as he is applying the hold, sending Sly face-first into the top turnbuckle. Zack hops back up, and goes for a shaky, slow School's Out Superkick. But, Sly catches the leg, and spins Zack around. He then hooks Zack from behind, and nails the USA High Angle Backdrop! Sly hooks Zack in a ball-and-chain for the pin....... 1................. 2................. THR...KICKOUT! MC He almost had him! CABOOSE To all the doubters...kiss my ass! Sly then gets to his feet, and slides his thumb across his throat, signalling for the Cut Day. Sly pulls Zack up, and lifts him for the Cut Day. But, Zack rolls out, lands on his feet beside Sly, and kicks him in the stomach. Zack then lifts Sly for the P.O.P. Drop, but his knee gives out mid-lift, and Sly lands on top of Zack on the fall, creating a pin opportunity.... 1.............. 2.............. Kickout! Sly slowly gets to his feet, and signals for the One Hit Wonder. Sly pulls Zack up, and hooks Zack's head underneath his armpit. Zack twists his head out, gets to a standing position in front of Sly, and tries to pull him in for the School's Out Superkick. Sly ducks underneath Zack. Taking advantage of his positioning, Sly grabs Zack, lifts him on his shoulders, and nails the Cut Day! Sly drapes his arm over Zack for the cover...... 1............. 2............. KICKOUT! Sly slowly gets up, and slaps himself in the face to get pumped up when he does. Sly pulls a dazed Malibu to his feet, and attempts to go for the USA High Angle Backdrop again. Zack punches Sly in the top of his head as he attempts to lift him. Zack then twists around, and locks Sly in a front facelock. Zack then drops Sly with a DDT. Zack keeps ahold of it, and rolls through; back onto his feet. Zack then drops Sly with a second DDT. Zack again holds on, and rolls through, back onto his feet. Zack drops Sly with a third DDT, as one of the cuts on his face that had clotted and dried up gets re-opened. Zack keeps ahold of the front facelock, and rolls back up again, pulls Sly up with him. Zack then lifts Sly and plants him with an implant DDT. COACH I think Zack is actually going for murder here, despite our sarcastic remarks about it earlier. Zack goes for the cover........... 1............. 2............. Zack pulls Sly off the mat. MC What was that? This is a new side to Zack we're seeing here. Zack pulls Sly up just enough so that he's only on one knee. Zack backs up a bit, and goes for the Zack Attack. But, Sly ducks when Zack tries launching the knee strike. Both men are so close to the ropes that Zack's leg goes flying outside the boundaries of the ring, and crotches himself on the middle rope. Sly livens himself up, and grabs Zack, lifting him for the Cut Day. Zack punches Sly in the face three times to get out, and then rolls out and onto his feet. Zack then connects with a stiff forearm to Sly's face. MC That'll liven up a match! Sly holds his jaw for a second, and then angrily throws a stiff forearm to Zack's face. Zack holds his face, and then cocks back and gives Sly another forearm to the face. Sly has to take a step back from the forceful impact, but then yells and gives Zack three quick forearms to the face in a row! CABOOSE I think it's getting a bit snug in the ring. MC Potatoes for everybody! Both stagger back for a second, and then have the same idea and throw forearms at each other's faces at the same time! Both men go down, and the count starts... 1............... 2................ 3................ 4................. 5.................. 6................. Both men start slowly crawling to their feet... 7.................. 8.................. Both men are back up. Zack immediately charges, and goes for the School's Out Superkick yet again. But, Sly ducks. However, Zack does connect...with the referee! MC The ref is out! The ref is out! COACH The rules are no longer "relaxed"...they're non-existant! Zack turns around, practically ignoring the referee that he just knocked out with his superkick. Zack then walks right into a kick to the stomach from Sly. Sly then lifts Zack up, and drops him with the piledriver! Sly goes for the cover, not realizing that the referee is unconcious. MC It's safe to say that, if Zack hadn't of knocked out the referee, we would have a new World Heavyweight Champion. Sly keeps the pin attempt going for about fifteen seconds, and then goes to check on the referee. Sly smacks the referee in the back of the head, shakes him, and does everything else to wake the ref up. He sees Zack groggily getting to his feet out of the corner of his eye, and turns around. Sly then pulls his patented chain out of his tights, and wraps it around his fist. Sly swings back, but then stalls and looks down at his fist. MC Sly looks like he's a bit cautious about using the chain. CABOOSE Knock the yuppie's head out of the park, Sly! Sly then swings his fist back again, and takes the step forward for the punch. But, Sly again stops himself. Sly looks down at his fist, and seems to be contemplating his use of the chain. Sly then shrugs his head, and grabs Zack by the hair with his non-chained hand. Sly swings back, and keeps his arm held back for at least ten seconds. Finally, after even looking around at the crowd who are yelling at him not to do it, Sly shoves Zack down and drops his chain. COACH I can't believe it...Sly Sommers actually did the right thing for once. CABOOSE There's no way...he has a concience? Wimp. Sly then pumps his fist in the air, and yells out "PILEDRIVER, BITCH!". He actually gets a good amount of cheers from the crowd, who seem to be softening up to Sly after his last decision. Sly grabs Zack, and puts his head in between his legs. But, Zack drops down and delivers a low blow to Sommers, which actually garners scattered boos from the audience. Zack then picks up Sly's chain, and punches him with it! CABOOSE Finally, Zack has come to the dark side! COACH I honestly doubt that. Zack's become more rough-edged over the past couple of months, and isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to take out a heated rival! CABOOSE Believe what you want... Zack then tosses the chain into Sly's tights, as the boos become more increasing. Zack then pulls Sly up, lifts him, and drops him with the P.O.P. Drop! The referee awakens at the impact, and turns around for the cover........ 1.................. 2.................. 3! BUFFER Your winner, and STILL OAOAST Heavyweight Champion of the WOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD!...Zack Malibu! (scattered boos amongst the cheers and confusion) CABOOSE Your guy's "boy" had to stoop to "my" level, to Sly's "level" to get the job done. MC I'll be quite honest with you...that wasn't a clean win, and quite frankly, Sly had the victory in his back pocket. But, Zack said in March that he would let no one walk over him anymore, even if it meant breaking out some dubious means to get the job done. COACH That was a little strange, but I'll give Zack the benefit of the doubt. He's not the type of guy to do something like that for heinous means. Zack cradles his World Title belt while seated in the corner, as the referee assigned to this match and another help Sly to his feet. Sly limps over to Zack, and extends his hand in respect. Zack looks at Sly, and shakes his head. Sly then walks off, both in pain and disappointed. All of a sudden, a large portion of the audience start applauding him out of respect, and a small "Sly!" chant even forms. MC Well, I never though I'd see the day when these fans would be giving Sly Sommers, of all people, this kind of respect. COACH You must admit, he showed more heart and determination here than most men would in this situation. If Sly acts like this more often, I wouldn't mind seeing him as a full-time top guy in the OAOAST. CABOOSE Sly's gone soft. I've said it...I think he's going soft. MC "Going soft" and doing the right thing are two totally different things, you idiot. Sly turns around, and acknoledges the fans as he walks out of the arena. Zack Malibu then climbs to the second rope, and poses with his title belt. Flashbulbs go off, as Zack gets a loud ovation, albeit scattered. MC I think, to these people, Zack might have committed a huge wrong tonight. But, I know that Zack'll explain his choices in this match soon enough, and all will be right. We're running out of time...for Jonathan Coachman and Caboose, I'm Michael Cole saying good night, and we'll see you on Thursday, as we'll crown new World Tag Team Champions on HeldDOWN~! The show closes with flashbulbs going off, as Zack poses in the middle of the ring with the World Title belt. 21. WASHINGTON, D.C. The Nation's Capitol has experienced armageddon...OAOAST-style: Cars rolled on their sides, buildings on fire, etc. A "OAOAST" banner flies proudly above the Capitol building. Homeless people (mostly "career politicians"), stray cats and dogs roam the streets. Trashcans and cars are on fire to provide heat. While it seems chaotic, the people are having a blast. It's clear -- this is now property of the OAOAST. SWOOSH~! A cool breeze of air suddenly sweeps through this run-downed area. The dogs begin howling, the cats are screeching. A massive object flies through the air, as if it taken by the force of a tornado. BAM~! It falls into one of the burning trashcans, diposing of the fire. The object is a giant "A." Those around slowly approach the trashcan. LIGHTNING STRIKE~! The "A" goes up in flames. Everybody near the can is taken back. The dogs run off whimpering. THUNDERCLAP~! CUT TO: THE WHITE HOUSE - OVAL OFFICE We only see the backside of the President's chair, his face cannot be seen. A cloud of smoke roams the air -- the leader of the free world is obviously enjoying himself a cigar. The President laughs manically. Quickly, he spins his chair around. To reveal... The Year of Living Angleously

OAOAST Clash of the Champions AJ Flaire, X Champion vs. “Iceheart” Dan Black, Adrenaline Champion 2/3 Falls Match Winner Take All COLE It’s time for what should be a great match up, which has been extended to 2 out of 3 falls match at the request of Dan Black, who, in his words wants “to beat that snivelling wretch twice more”. We’ve also heard that the OAOAST board of directors has BANNED Jivin’ Jim Ross from appearing at ringside during this important title match! COACH A brave move by Dan, and one which will test both men to their limits. AJ Flaire is, of course, phenomenal, and Black is clearly underestimating him. CABOOSE Hey, Dan is a veteran, he’s beaten everybody in the OAOAST and come back for more. Flaire’s just some punk. He won’t be able to hang with Black- we saw that on HeldDown. Cut to clip of HD’s tag match, with Dan low blowing AJ and then pinning him with the Pitch Black (Angel’s Wings) COLE Dan did get the pin there, but I have a feeling he won’t get so lucky twice more tonight. Cue: “Quiet” A flood of dark smoke pours out onto the stage underneath the AngleTron. A flurry of white pyro sparks shoots up amongst the smoke, until with a huge pyro BANG, the smoke is dissipated and Dan Black strides through. Clad in black Edge style trenchcoat and shiny black shades, Dan walks down to the ring, ignoring the fans. Dan slides into the ring and takes off the coat, revealing the Adrenaline Title around his waist. He hands it to our official for this match and leans back against the ropes. Cue: “Man in the Box” AJ Flaire walks out calmly, raising his hands to the POPPING crowd and quickly running down to the ring, where Dan Black ducks out as he sees his approach. Flaire hands his X title belt to the ref, and adopts a corner to wait in. At ringside, Dan removes his shades and offers them to a young fan, Bret Hart style, before snatching them away again and laughing. COLE He’s so EVIL! Black throws the glasses away and enters the ring, waiting in the corner opposite AJ for the announcements of Buffer as Flaire’s music cuts. BUFFER The following contest is a title vs title match where the losers championship will be absorbed into the winners. It is set for two falls, with a one hour time limit. Introducing first, to my left, from London, England…he weighs in at two hundred, fourty two pounds and he is the OAOAST Adrenaline Champion- Daaaaaaaaan BLLLLLLLLLLACK! Dan raises an arm into the air in a casual salute. The crowd boos and wonders whether to throw stuff now or later. BUFFER Aaaaaaand his opponent…from wherever he wants….weighing two hundred, fifteen pounds…he is the OAOAST X Division Champion…..A….J….FLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAIRE! AJ bounces on the spot as the crowd gives him a healthy POP! Buffer leaves as our official holds up both title belts and then hands them to the time keeper at ringside as we get our opening bell. DING DING DING Both men come out of their corners sharply, both wearing black tights but with AJ’s short and trimmed with blue, Dan’s long and trimmed with silver. Dan and AJ, at equal height, eyeball each other with no display of emotion, until Black just swings back and SLAPS Flaire hard across the face! AJ steps back as Dan looks around, a smug smile on his face…that vanishes as Flaire CRACKS him with a forearm shot! Another forearm, and Flaire sends Black to the ropes. Dan bounces back at AJ, who shoulderblocks him down to the mat. Dan is back up quickly and runs to the ropes, looking to shoulderblock AJ in return, but Flaire drops down and Black has to run over the top. As Dan rebounds off the ropes on the opposite side, AJ kips up and hits him square in the face with a moonsault dropkick! Dan staggers up and moves at AJ, who grabs his left arm and drags him up and over, sending Dan skidding across the mat. Dizzy, Black rises but Flaire is on him, firing another pair of forearms into his jaw COLE AJ using his superior speed and athletic ability to get on top here. COACH Black isnt a high flyerr…he’ll have to slow AJ down into an exchange of holds. COLE Flaire can wrestle to, don’t forget. CABOOSE Just like Coach at Backlash, right? COACH Shh…don’t mention that…they don’t know I’m here, remember… AJ pushes Dan into the corner, and CHOPS hard into his exposed chest. Dan recoils and clutches his pecs, but AJ pushes his hand aside and LASHES him with another cutting chop. Flaire pulls Dan out of the corner and applies a front facelock, before lifting Dan up with a hanging vertical suplex and then dropping back, slamming Black to the mat hard. AJ scoops Black from the canvas and tries an Irish whip, but Dan reverses it. As AJ returns from the ropes, Black greets him with a back elbow that throws AJ away. Dan grabs Flaire in a waistlock from behind, before lifting him off his feet and dropping him to the mat with an amateur style take down. Dan goes after the arm of AJ, trying to haul it back into Fujiwara armbar, but Flaire rolls onto his side and blocks the hold by holding his wrist with his other hand to lock it in place. Black releases the arm and stands quickly to start stomping on AJ, going after the shoulder, but Flaire swings around rapidly with a spinning kick that knocks Dan’s legs out from under him! COACH Such agility from AJ, he can attack from anywhere! CABOOSE Dan has to avoid those fast strikes and keep trying to grind Flaire down. I don’t think AJ has the stamina to go thirty or fourty minutes with Black. Flaire pounces on Dan’s arm, going for a Fujiwara armbar of his own, but Black is quickly up to his feet and counters to a wrist lock on AJ. Flaire wastes no time in escaping, rolling forwards smartly and grabbing Dan’s left arm into a hammerlock. Black scowls in pain but he too counters swiftly, throwing a back elbow into AJ’s face, and with Flaire stunned Dan counters the hammerlock into a full nelson! Black tenses, trying for a Dragon suplex, but AJ gets a leg behind Dan’s to block it. Black tries again, and now his grip is loosened enough for AJ to slip free of the nelson and grab Black into a side headlock. Dan moves forward and, getting his hand on the small of Flaire’s back, pushes him off to the ropes. Dan ducks down for a back drop, but AJ just rolls over his back and grabs a waistlock. Dan reverses to a waistlock of his own and pulls Flaire over with a release German suplex! But AJ flips over and lands on his feet in a crouch! Dan turns, smirking, and AJ charges into him with a full force SPEAR! COLE These guys have been going hold for hold, and AJ just decided to break it up! CABOOSE Meh, he’s a cruiserweight, it’s like being speared by a supermodel. Flaire covers Dan: ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! AJ brings Dan back up and chicken wings his arms, pulling him up and dropping him down back first onto his outstretched knee! COACH BUTTERFLY BACKBREAKER! COLE AJ just broke Dan’s SPINE! BAH GAWD! CABOOSE Just because JR is banned from ringside, you don’t have to do your terrible impressions. COACH I like them! Black is on the canvas, clutching his back where it rebounded of the solid bone of AJ’s knee. Flaire grabs Dan’s legs and crosses them, before turning Dan over into a Texas Cloverleaf! AJ stands up, putting as much pressure as possible on Black’s back. Dan shouts in pain and starts to try and claw his way across the mat. Eventually, he can reach out and just grasp the bottom rope, and AJ releases the hold at the ref’s count. Flaire pulls Dan into the middle of the ring and just plants a knee straight into his spine. Another knee, and then a running double knee! COACH Flaire really going after the back of Dan! CABOOSE Well, he got knocked out cold by Dan’s Pitch Black on HeldDown, he probably wants to make Dan’s back to weak to be able to pick AJ up and hit it here tonight! COLE Good thinking, C-Man! AJ has Dan back to his feet and whips him hard into the corner. Dan grimaces in pain as his already sore back is flung into the turnbuckles. Flaire measures Dan, and then charges in, leaping into the air with a Stinger Splash- but Black leaps aside, and AJ slams onto the buckles. Dan rolls him up from behind, grapevining the leg! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! THREE! NO! KICKOUT! Flaire rolls to his feet and meets Dan with a pair of chops to the chest, before attempting another whip to the corner. This time however Black holds onto AJ’s left arm as he is whipped and stops himself, before turning the hold into an arm bar. Dan kicks Flaire in the gut and extends the arm out. Black gets side on to AJ, still holding the arm, and then drops back, plunging Flaire’s face into the mat and snapping the extended arm hard. COACH Divorce Court from Dan! We saw him make initial attacks on Flaire’s arm earlier, and now he’s going right back after it. Indeed, Black immediately brings AJ back up, dragging him by the left arm, and executes a slow, griding overhead turn on the armbar, before lying the arm across his own right shoulder and slamming it down hard. AJ’s arm bounces off and Flaire clutches it protectively, but Black grabs it again, hammerlocking it and then executing a belly to back suplex with the lock still in place, so that Flaire is dropped onto the mat arm first! As Dan rises from the suplex, his face strains a little and he holds the small of his back, but he quickly brings AJ up, hammerlocks the arm and this time body slams him onto it. Again Dan seems to feel this in his back, but it doesn’t slow him down. Black leaves AJ lying in the middle of the ring, clutching his left arm, and steps out to the ring spron. He slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle, pausing to flip off the fans, and then leaps into the air, flying at Flaire with a diving headbutt- but AJ rolls aside! COLE That headbutt was directed straight at AJ’s injured arm! If that had connected AJ might have been down to one good arm for the rest of his career, never mind this match! CABOOSE A lucky escape from AJ- but now Dan has his mark, he has his plan, he can smell blood. COACH You know, I think Dan may be targeting the arm to stop AJ hitting his “That’s Phenomenal” cradle piledriver! CABOOSE My god, you’re getting into this at last! Black clutches his head as AJ gets to his feet, wringing out the arm. Flaire advances on Dan, who’s up to one knee and slams a shot into AJ’s gut as he approaches. AJ still brings Dan up however, and as Black swings for him ducks, allowing Dan’s momentum to push him in front. Flaire grabs Dan around the waist and hits him with a quick belly to back suplex. Black feels it more than usually however, squirming on the mat. AJ presses him down for a cover: ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! KICKOUT! Flaire brings Black up, grabs his neck and snapmares him back down again, leaving Dan sitting on the mat. AJ rocks back and SLAMS a kick into Dan’s back! Dan clenches his fists and shouts, but no sooner has he done than Flaire kicks him again with equal force! AJ quickly runs to the ropes and rebounds with a flying dropkick to Dan’s back that snaps his head forward and leaves him on his back once more. Flaire nods in approval and goes for the Texas Cloverleaf once more, but Dan sits up and punches AJ in the head until he backs off. Flaire shakes his head to clear it while Dan uses the ropes to pull himself up. Flaire turns and runs at Dan, but Black drops down and back drops Flaire so that he flies out over the top- but lands on the apron! Black turns and AJ cracks him with a forearm, but Dan fights back with his own that leaves AJ hanging onto the rope with one hand. Black steps out onto the apron with AJ, kicks him in the gut- and gives him the BLACK OUT STUNNER- off the apron to the floor! COLE MAH GAWD! CABOOSE That’s strike two! Flaire’s head is SMASHED into Dan’s shoulder, and he goes down like he’s been shot. Black is down to, holding his back. The impact of falling to the floor from the apron in the sitting position necessary for the stunner has sent a shock through his spine. Dan gets up after a moment, wincing, and moves over to AJ, rolling him back into the ring, where he immediately covers: ONE! TWO! THREE! Dan rolls off AJ, raising an arm! But the referee shakes his head to the timekeeper, telling him not to ring the bell- and points to AJ’s foot on the bottom rope! Black, still unaware, is slowly getting to his feet. The official points to the foot, shaking his head. Dan’s face is a mask of thunder, and he shoves the referee away to go after AJ once more. Dan picks Flaire up, grabs his left arm, and slams it down onto the top rope. Again, Dan abuses the arm on the cable. And a third time. With AJ still groggy from the super Black Out, Black drapes the arm onto the top rope and climbs to the top rope, before jumping off with an elbow directly to the exposed arm! Dan pushes the pained AJ to the mat and covers: ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! KICKOUT! Dan rolls AJ over and locks on the Heart of Ice! COACH That’s Dan’s submission finisher! The Heart of Ice crossface! With AJ’s injured arm, that’s got to be agony! CABOOSE Yeah, you forgot about the crossface, didn’t you? That’s another reason for Dan to go after the arm. Keep trying, junior. COLE As Mystery Eskimo, Dan Black got most of the people in the damn company to tap out to that crossface- can AJ survive it? Flaire is shouting in pain, eyes wild, face red. Dan hauls back on the hold, tearing at the neck and upper left arm of AJ. Flaire’s hand waivers…waivers…. CABOOSE He’s tapping! But Flaire isnt’t tapping- he’s put his hand down to pull himself across the mat closer to the ropes- closer- closer- COLE He made it! The ref counts Dan off the hold, and he breaks reluctantly. CABOOSE Flaire should have tapped as soon as he was in the hold! He would still have had another fall to make it up. COLE That’s not the way AJ thinks! He’s not a quitter, no matter the circumstances! Black waits impatiently for AJ to get to his feet, and then moves in. Flaire meets him with a headbutt however, that stuns Dan back. AJ chops at Dan with his right arm, before trying for a spinkick that Dan ducks. Black throws a lariat at AJ, but he too evades. Dan turns at AJ once more- and eats a superkick to the jaw that sends him to the canvas! Flaire immediately climbs to the top rope, waiting for Dan to rise. As he does so, his back to AJ, Flaire quickly leaps off, sending his diving boots straight into the back of Dan with a missile drop kick! Black is flung onto this face and clutches his back yet again. AJ picks himself up and wraps Dan around with a La Majistral cradle! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF THRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! NO! KICKOUT! COLE That was so close to the first fall! COACH We’re well into this match, both men have taken some serious punishment, and its still level! CABOOSE I have to admit, AJ’s giving a better show than I thought. But his arm’s gone, there’s no way he can survive this. COACH What about Dan’s back? CABOOSE It’s fine! Just a slight strain. Trust me. Both men pick themselves up, with AJ the more aggressive and on top with a forearm shot to Dan’s back. Flaire brings Dan into the middle of the ring, puts his head between his legs and SHOUTS! COACH Don’t shout! Everyone knows your finishers coming then! AJ grabs Dan around the waist and goes for the That’s Phenomenal- but his arm gives out! Dan drops back out of AJ’s grasp- and with Flaire distracted drags him straight into the Heart of Ice once more! This time however, Dan wrenches back AJ’s injured left arm, tucking it back behind Dan’s right shoulder before he applies the cross face! (Alex Shelley’s Border City Stretch) COACH OUCH! COLE A new variation of the Heart of Ice! CABOOSE Added pressure and pain to that arm- and its in the middle of the ring! Do the smart thing kid! Save the arm! Dan pulls back, screaming at AJ to tap like the bitch he is! Flaire’s free arm is shaking…he reaches desperately for the ropes….but Dan has him locked in place on the mat…AJ’s arm waivers…. TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP DING DING DING BUFFER The winner of the first fall by submission- Dan BLACK! Dan keeps the hold locked in for the full four seconds he’s allowed before dropping AJ’s seemingly lifeless body to the mat. Black backs away as we start the thirty second rest period between falls. The crowd BOOOOS Black forcefully as the former IZ GM grins, running his hand through his dark hair and making the tap out gesture on the top turnbuckle. COACH This is going to be hard as hell for AJ to come back now. Dan only needs one more fall. CABOOSE And that arm is hanging by a thread. The kid did well, but he’s no match for Black. Dan’s just too good. The thirty seconds are up. DING DING DING The bell rings, and the second fall is underway. AJ has only made it back to a crouch, and Dan is on him, looking to lock in the Heart of Ice once more- and he cinches it in! The crowd BOOOS before chanting- PLEASE DON’T TAP! PLEASE DON’T TAP! AJ is screaming in pain once more! There’s a look of triumph in Dan’s eyes as he tears at the arm- but during the 30 second break, AJ has rolled closer to the ropes, and he’s a lot nearer than previously. With a last, desperate effort, Flaire lunges forward- and his fingers just curl around the bottom rope. The official counts Dan off, and he rises, SPITTING onto the back of AJ before rolling him over away from the ropes and covering: ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! THRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE-KICKOUT! Dan throws back his head in anger, and exhales deeply- and goes back for the Heart of Ice! But AJ scrambles out frantically, and gets to his feet, meeting Dan with a kick to the gut and a DDT that spikes Black’s head hard onto the mat! Both men are down, as the crowd gets behind AJ, stomping their feet. Flaire responds, rolling over to drape an arm on Dan: ONE! TWO! TWO AND HALF! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! NO! SHOULDER UP! COACH Both these guys are running low on energy now. Anything could score a fall. A clothesline, a dropkick- CABOOSE Anything except that crappy leglock you were using on Tajiri. COACH Hey! Flaire is back up slowly, and moves to the opposite corner of the ring, waiting for Dan to rise. Black is on both knees- then one knee- and AJ charges in, stepping up on Dan’s knee and hitting a SHINING WIZARD! KNEE TO THE SKULL! AJ covers! ONE! TWO! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! NO! FOOT ON THE ROPES! AJ rolls away in disbelief, as Dan clutches his head on the mat. Flaire gets to his feet, his left arm hanging lifelessly at his side, and climbs to the top rope. Dan staggers to his feet and falls onto the top rope, unbalancing AJ and causing him to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle! With a burst of –ahem- Adrenaline, Dan runs up the ropes, grabs AJ around the midsection- and gives him a release northern lites suplex off the top rope! AJ lands hard on his back, but Dan lands on his back too and recoils in pain! COACH I’m not sure who that hurt more! A spectacular move from Dan, but he doesn’t want to be falling from that height onto that hurt back! CABOOSE He’ll walk it off! Don’t worry! Black takes a few moments to get to his feet, and this allows AJ a chance to start to rise too. Dan is up and ready for him however, and we get KICK WHAM BLACKOUT- NO! AJ pushes Dan off! AJ gets KICK WHAM THAT’S PHENOMENAL- NO! The arm gives again! Dan goes for the Heart of Ice! AJ goes down to one knee only and blocks it! Dan hammers his arm but he can’t force AJ down into the hold! Black pulls AJ up- kick to the gut- underhooked arms- PITCH BLACK- NO! Dan’s back gives out as he pulls AJ up! Flaire with roll up on Black! ONE! TWO! TWO AND HALF! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! DING DING DING POP from the crowd! BUFFER The winner of the fall- A-J- FLAIRE! COACH He did it! He pulled it level! That’s ph- CABOOSE Don’t say it. That was LUCKY. Damn lucky. He slipped out of Dan’s grasp because he SWEATS so much, and then pinned Dan with a handful of tights! COLE There was no handful of tights! That was clean! Dan slams the mat with both hands in utter frustration! AJ leans against the ropes, breathing heavily. The referee tries to keep the men apart during the thirty second rest period, but Dan walks over to AJ…. COACH He just got something from his tights! COLE It’s knucks! STEEL KNUCKS! AJ rises to meet Dan and gets NAILED with the knucks! AJ crumples forwards, as the referee shouts angrily at Dan! COLE That’s got to be a disqualification! CABOOSE Nah- we’re between falls! This isn’t part of the match! COACH That sneaky son of a bitch! Dan allows the official to take the knucks, the damage done, and then points to his wrist. CABOOSE He’s right! Thirty second rest period is up! COLE Some rest AJ got! The referee reluctantly calls for the bell. DING DING DING Third and final fall. Dan covers AJ. ONE! TWO! THREE! NO! KICKOUT! COLE MAH GAWD! Caboose slaps Cole. COLE It was worth it. COACH AJ want the X title to stay alive! He wants to prove to Dan Black that he can’t walk all over HeldDown! He’s going to do it, Caboose, I can feel it! CABOOSE You want one too? COACH No sir. Dan grabs the official by the shirt and screams at him. The referee shakes his head and holds up two fingers to signify the count, and Dan drops him with an angry growl. Dan turns back to AJ and stomps a mudhole in him, furiously driving his boot into Flaire’s chest and arm. Black brings AJ up and tries a whip into the corner, but AJ somehow reverses it! Dan bounces into the turnbuckles and Flaire groggily runs in at him. But Dan is more than ready and, throwing his arm across AJ’s chest, comes out of the corner and hits him with a stiff STO! Flaire is slammed hard to the mat, and Dan pushes up his legs for the cover- and puts his feet on the ropes! ONE! TWO! THREEEEEEEEEEE! NO! The referee sees the feet on the rope and calls off the count, knocking Dan’s boots down! Unbalanced, Black falls back and Flaire rolls him up! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! NO! KICK OUT! CABOOSE MAH GAWD! COLE What- you- you?! CABOOSE Hey, this is exciting! Dan rolls to his feet, wasting no time, gesturing for AJ to get up. Flaire does so, still moving slowly from the effects of the knuck and STO, and he wanders straight into Dan’s clutches! Black kicks him in the gut and goes for a piledriver- but AJ fights back and backdrops Dan high into the air where he lands again on the hurt back! Flaire drops to his knees with the effort of escape, and Dan gets to his feet, but the pain in his back drops his down to one knee again. AJ sees this out of the corner of his eye and with an effort turns and runs at Dan for another Shining Wizard- but Dan gets up and meets AJ with a YAKUZA KICK! Flaire’s head is snapped back hard and Dan just drops onto him to cover! ONE! TWO! CABOOSE It’s over! TWO AND HALF! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! NO! KICKOUT! The crowd sucks in air in relief! Dan rolls off AJ, shaking his head and looking like he’s about to cry. COACH He can’t put this kid away! Dan has the advantage in experience, weight, strength- he just can’t finish him! COLE AJ truly IS phenomenal, and Dan can’t take it! Black gets to his feet, even walking looking painful from his back. He moves over to AJ and, like a savage dog, goes for the Heart of Ice once more- but Flaire, groggy as he is, sees it coming and rolls out of his clutches before he can sink it in. COLE Dan’s gone for that too many times, AJ is now able to have it scouted! CABOOSE It’s just luck! All it takes is another 5 seconds in that hold and it’ll be over! AJ is up and hits Dan with a chop. Dan chops back. AJ fires a forearm. Dan responds, and the two champions are suddenly exchanging stiff, bnutal forearms in the middle of the ring, to the approval of the crowd! The fans roar AJ on as he gets the upper hand and whips Dan to the ropes. AJ drops for a backdrop, to further hurt Dan’s back, but Black stops himself and kicks AJ in the chest. Dan bounces off the ropes at AJ but Flaire meets him with KICK WHAM – CABOOSE Why’s he trying that? His arm’s too weak! -THAT’S PHENOMENAL! COLE He HIT IT! OH MY GOD HE HIT IT! COVER! ONE! TWO! TWO AND A HALF! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! NO! KICK! OUT! CABOOSE AJ didn’t have full control! He didn’t get full impact! We cut to a replay of the cradle piledriver… COLE You’re right! His arm just gave out as he was dropping Dan, and he couldn’t power his head into the mat as he normally would! AJ leaves Dan lying face first on the mat, and climbs out of the ring to the apron. Slowly, his left arm immobile, Flaire reaches the top rope. Dan lies underneath him. AJ looks all around the packed arena, and take a huge breath. Flaire jumps off forward….into space….spiralling over and over with a 450 twisting slash that brings his body DETONATING onto the back of his opponent! The crowd ERUPTS! COACH EXTRA SPECIAL! EXTRA SPECIAL CONNECTS! DID YOU FEEL THAT IMPACT! Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! AJ clutches his midsection with his right arm, and rolls Dan over clumsily with it. AJ hooks up a leg as the entire crowd counts along: ONE! TWO! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! DING DING DING COACH He did it! HUGE POP! Cue: “Man in the Box” BUFFER The winner of the third fall and of the match….the X Division Champion………A! J! FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIRE! COLE He did it Caboose! That 450 to the back of Dan was enough! COACH The Adrenaline Title is no more! AJ just picked up a HUGE win! He’s beaten an OAOAST veteran by 2 falls to one, and this kid is going to be a champion for a hell of a long time, I guarantee it! CABOOSE Dan’s back was just too injured. That sneaky AJ went after it like a wild dog, he’s got no class. COACH What about Dan with the arm? CABOOSE THAT was legitimate wrestling. In the ring, the referee raises the hand of the exhausted AJ as he staggers to his feet. Dan is motionless on the mat still, as Jivin’ Jim Ross runs out with a crowd of EMTs, who load Dan Black onto a body board and take him away carefully. COACH That looks like a serious injury for Dan. And he used every trick, every move in his game to beat AJ, and it couldn’t be done. Flaire leaves the ring to rabid applause from the fans, who start up a chant: A-J -FLAIRE! A-J-FLAIRE! CABOOSE This makes me sick. COACH For once, Dan Black got what he deserved! We’ll see him try and explain this on HeldDown! CABOOSE Stop gloating! Cut! The Year of Living Angleously

BRYTE CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!! He a crazed look appears in his eyes as he begins yanking at his hair. Bryte begins huffing and puffing as he takes a handful of Panther's hair and drags him back to his feet. Panther shoots a shoot jab to Bryte's midsection, but Bryte comes right back with a knee to Panther's hip! A second one to the midsection doubles Panther over, and a third knee lift sends Panther staggering backwards into the corner. On the floor, Tina turns back to the action to see Bryte firmly in control, with a slight smile on his face. Bryte wipes some of the blood from his mouth, moves in on Panther and catches him in the chest with another HARD knife edge chop! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOOOO~! Another one causes Panther to writhe in pain. Bryte rears back for another one, but pauses, another smile coming across his face. Suddenly, he reaches forward, grabs a hold of Panther's jersey, and RIPS IT RIGHT DOWN THE CENTER! There's a stunned silence from the crowd... 3 C'S OH NO HE DIDN'T! Oh yes he did! Bryte looks over at Tina on the floor, who just covers her eyes and looks away. Bryte looks around the arena and shrugs his shoulders...not quite realizing just what the hell he's done until he turns back to Panther, who's breathing heavily through clinched teeth, looking down at the remains of his tattered jersey as they lay on the canvas. All at once, Bryte winds up and hits Panther with another HARD chop...this one having NO effect on Panther. He winds up and nails him with another, with the same result. Suddenly, Panther looks up at Bryte, shooting him the coldest glare imaginable! CABOOSE Chris...WHY did you rip that jersey?! WHY?! Bryte begins to beg off a bit as Panther stands upright in the corner, with both his fists cocked and his body trembling! Bryte fires off a kick to Panther's right leg...STILL NO EFFECT!! Judo chop to the shoulder...STILL NO EFFECT! A look of fear comes across Bryte's face as he unleashes another martial arts flurry, throwing punch after punch! Kick after kick! Knee after-- PANTHER AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH~! COLE Oh my! Suddenly, Panther grabs Bryte in a front waistlock and drives him back into a turnbuckle, and begins driving shoulder after shoulder into the midsection of Bryte, each blow causing the youngster to cry out in pain! Then, Panther grabs two handfuls of Bryte's hair, drags him out of the buckle and beels him across the ring, with Bryte hitting hard off the mat! He immediately pops back to his feet with his arms outstretched, again trying to beg off! BRYTE C'mon, Panther! I didn't mean! C'mon, Panther--NOOOOOOOO~! Panther grabs two more handfuls of Bryte's hair, and as Bryte kicks and punches at him wildly, Panther turns and hurls the rookie across the ring once more, sending him in with such force that Bryte slides into the post, crotching himself! COLE My God, folks! Panther has lost it! COACH Yeah! And for those of you who don't know, now you know! You don't tug on Superman's cape, and you don't fuck with Panther's jerseys! Panther reaches down and grabs another handful of Bryte's hair and pulls him back to his feet. As Bryte continues to beg, Panther catches him with an open hand slap right to the face! Bryte tries to come back with a right hand, but Panther catches him in a half nelson and uses it to drive him down, with the back of Bryte's neck bouncing off of his knee. Panther then springs back to his feet, and as Bryte clutches at his neck on the canvas, Panther runs to the ropes opposite him, bounces off and nails him with a running front dropkick right to the face. Panther makes the cover... 1... 2... NO!!!!!!!!!! Just a TWOOOOOOOOO~! Panther with another handful of hair brings Bryte back to his feet. He then tucks his head under Bryte's right armpit, wraps his arms around his waist and takes him over with a back suplex!! With Bryte down on the canvas, Panther walks over to a corner, steps out to the apron and begins to make the climb once again! COLE We saw this earlier on! Tina prevented him from hitting it! Let's see if Panther has better luck this time! The crowd clamors and comes to his feet as Panther stands upright on top, and with Bryte prone on the canvas, Panther leaps into the air, coming down upon his opponent with his trademark... COLE FROG SPLASH~! COACH That could do it! COLE He hooks the leg! 1... 2... 3!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO~! Only a two count!!!!!! Panther looks frustrated as he pulls himself back to a knee. He grabs another handful of Bryte's hair, preparing to bring him back up, but when he reaches a standing position, Bryte shoves his arms away, reaches up and rakes his eyes, drawing boos from the crowd. CABOOSE YES! Judo chop by Bryte sends Panther staggering back into the ropes, followed up by a forearm shot from the rookie. Bryte grabs Panther's arm and tries to send him in with an Irish whip--NO!!!!! Reversal by Panther sends Bryte into the ropes! Bryte with a Tajiri-like handspring into the ropes, but as he's coming off with the elbow, Panther catches him from behind in full nelson! Another look of fear comes across Bryte's face as he desperately tries to escape Panther's grasp, but it's no use, as Panther flashes a smile into the main camera, and folds Bryte up with a Dragon Suplex!!!!! No Bridge, all impact!!!!!! Bryte instinctively pops back up to his feet, then staggers back into a nearby buckle, at which point, Panther turns to him with a sinister smile! CABOOSE Oh no! Oh yes!! Panther starts loading it up, when suddenly, Tina climbs back up onto the apron, hoping to stop Panther from doing the move. The referee approaches her, trying to persuade her to get down from the apron, when... CABOOSE My God, Tina! GET DOWN! GET DOWN!!! Panther charges in at Bryte and catches him with a swift, hard kick to the groin! Another! Another! GOOD GAWD ANOTHER! COLE RAPID-FIRE LOW BLOWS!!! RAPID-FIRE LOW BLOWS! MY GOD! After 9 swift kicks to the groin, Panther backs out takes a step back, draws Bryte out of the buckle and racks him with an uppercut to the groin, drawing another pop from the crowd. Tina hops down from the apron, with a look on her face that says...well..."oops". The ref turns back to the action just in time to see Panther double Bryte over with a boot to the midsection, slap on a 3/4 headlock, and drop him with a... COLE PANTHER CUTTER!!!!!!!! The crowd ERUPTS when he hits the move, and chants of "PAN-THER, PAN-THER" echo throughout the arena. Panther springs back to his feet and turns to the main camera, soaking up the crowd reaction. Then, with a look of intensity in his eyes, he points at Bryte's body and makes a throat slitting gesture! COLE Panther's calling for the end! He's getting ready to finish this thing off! He reaches down, grabs a handful of hair, picks Bryte up off the canvas and pulls him into a standing headscissors, causing the crowd to clamor. Then, he wraps his arms around Bryte's waist, lifts him up into powerbomb position... COLE HERE IT IS...DA BOMB-- WAIT!!!!!!! Mid-move, Bryte wraps his legs around Panther's head and begins squeezing tightly. Panther holds Bryte up on his shoulders for a few moments, thenm slowly begins to slump to the canvas. The crowd looks stunned, not realizing just what's going on until we get another camera angle, showing us a close-up of the move. COLE What the... CABOOSE That's a triangle choke! Yes it is!! The crowd boos in the background as Bryte cinches up on the hold as much as he can, screamijng "TAAAAAP!!! TAP!!!! TAAAAAAAP!" Panther tries as hard as he can to fight the hold, scratching, clawing and pushing his way towards the ropes like he did earlier. It doesn't work this time, however, as Bryte has the hold applied perfectly, and soon enough, Panther begins to fade. The fans begin clapping and stomping in unison, trying to rally Panther out of the hold. COLE This crowd is making some noise for Panther! CABOOSE But he's not moving, Cole! Look at him! Panther is out! Indeed, he appears to be. From the floor, Tina looks on with concern as the referee once again comes in and checks Panther's left arm. He raises the arm once... AND IT DROPS!!!!!!! The ref raises Panther's arm a second time... AND IT STAYS UP!!!! CABOOSE No! COLE Panther's still in this thing! The crowd begins clapping and stomping in unison once again as Panther makes one more attempt to escape the hold. Panther rolls Bryte up onto the back of his neck, plants his feet under him, and...using every ounce of strength he can muster, he muscles Bryte up off the canvas, and with all his might, he snaps Bryte down to the canvas, dropping him right on the back of his neck with... COLE DA BOMB!!!!! DA BOMB! HE GOT IT! Yes! But Panther's spent as well! Both men are down on the canvas, as Tina paces back and forth about the ringside area. The cans begin clapping and stomping once again, chanting "PAN-THER, PAN-THER" at the top of their lungs! COLE Both men are down!!! Both men have taken a helluva lot of punishment in this match already! Who will get up first?! Will it be... CABOOSE It's Bryte!!!! Bryte begins pulling himself up onto his knees, trying to shake off the effects of Da Bomb. He begins crawling over to the ropes just as as Panther is beginning to stir. Bryte crawls out to the apron, grabs a hold of the middle rope, and uses it to pull himself back to his feet. Once he gets reaches a standing position, he then begins ascending the turnbuckles! COLE Chris Bryte...is he headed up top! CABOOSE Apparently! I'm not so sure that this is the smart thing to do! COACH Well he's doing it! COLE But watch Panther... Just as Bryte reaches the top rope, Panther reaches his feet. He makes a lunge for the top rope, shaking it and causing Bryte to fall and crotch himself on the top turnbuckle! The crowd cheers wildly in the background! CABOOSE Well, there goes the honeymoon plans! COLE Panther...at the last split second, crotching Bryte on the top! Chris Bryte is in trouble, and now watch Panther! What's he preparing to do here?! Panther walks over to Bryte, turns his back to him and pushes himself up onto the second turnbuckle, with Bryte over his head. The crowd clamors as Panther muscles Bryte up over his shoulder...and in to tombstone position! COLE Oh no! CABOOSE He wouldn't! He would! With the crowd on its feet, Panther stands upright on the middle rope, and leaps off with Bryte, driving him headfirst into the mat with... COLE THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!! MY GOD, THE TRUTH!!!!!! COACH From the second turnbuckle!!!!!!! COLE CHRIS BRYTE IS DEAD!!!!!!! As Bryte lies motionless on the canvas, Panther crawls over to his prone body and makes the cover. Hook of the leg... CROWD 1....2....3!!!!!!!!!! * DING DING DING * BUFFER Here is your winner of the second fall...PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTHERRRRRRRRRRRRRR~! COLE Panther has tied the match at one fall a piece! Emphatically! CABOOSE I can't believe he just did that! How reckless can you be! He could've...he could've just ended the man's career! COLE And he's just seconds away from ending Bryte's career once and for all! There's no way Bryte comes back from that! No way! COACH Can we get another look at that?! The Living Anglelously logo scrolls across the ring once again as we see a couple of instant replays of the Truth from the second rope. The logo scrolls across the screen once again, as the 30 second break comes to an end. * DING DING DING * COLE It's now time for the third and final fall! The loser of this fall will lose his career, and judging by the looks of things, the loser will be Chris Bryte! Bryte isn't moving at all after the Truth. He's just lying there in a pool of blood with his eyes rolled up into the back of his head. Panther has a sick, twisted smile on his face as he hovers above his opponent. Then, as Tina looks on from the floor, with her hands clasped together, almost as if she's in prayer, Panther plants his boot squarely into Bryte's chest, ready to put him out of his misery... 1... 2... WAIT A MINUTE! COLE Panther...he just took his foot off! What the hell... COACH He had it won! Bryte's done! Indeed! But Panther's NOT done! With the crowd cheering him on, Panther reaches down, grabs him by the hair and pulls his limp carcass up off the canvas! REFEREE C'mon, Panther! You're gonna kill him! *THUD* Panther shoves the ref to the mat one more time, drawing another loud pop from the crowd. He then scoops Bryte back up over his shoulder, turns towards the main camera, and with another smile on his face, drops the lifeless rookie in the Truth one more time!!!!! Panther looks down upon his Bryte, with a look of intensity on his face, as the chants of "PAN-THER, PAN-THER" start up again. Then, Panther makes a nonchalant cover... 1... 2.. NO! Panther pulls him up! CABOOSE What the hell is Panther doing?! COLE Panther has lost it! Panther wants to maim Bryte! He will not stop until this kid can never walk again! The official again pleads with Panther to stop, but Panther shoves him hard to the canvas, this time, with so much force that the ref rolls backwards out of the ring and out to the floor. Panther then turns back to Bryte and once again drags his limp body up off the mat. Now with Bryte in a seated position, Panther kneels down and locks on a dragon sleeper! The crowd pops once more in the background as Panther turns Bryte over onto his stomach and transitions the hold into the Truth Infection (Dragon Clutch). COLE Truth Infection by Panther! Truth Infection... CABOOSE What is the meaning of this?! HE'S OUT!!!!!!! COLE Panther...my goodness he's snapped! By now, Tina has crawled her way into the ring, tears streaming down her face as she rushes to Panther's side, begging him to release the hold. Panther doesn't seem to hear her, however, and begins wrenching back even further on the hold as the rabid crowd cheers him on. Frustrated, Tina begins screaming at Panther! TINA LET HIM GO!!!!!! PANTHER, PLEASE! JUST LET HIM GO!!!!!!!! She grabs Panther's right arm and begins trying to pry it from around Chris Bryte's neck, pulling with all her might! Suddenly... *THUD* ...Panther rises and shoves Tina off of him, sending her tumbling back to the canvas. Panther turns sharply and shoots an intense glare in her direction, sending her fearfully scrambling to the arena floor. Panther then turns back to Bryte with a sinister look. He stadles his back, reaches down and re-applies the Truth Infection, drawing another pop from the crowd! CABOOSE We may need security out here to break this thing up! Panther's absolutely lost it! Panther continues to wrench back on the hold as a distraught Tina looks on from the outside. She begins yanking at her blood red hair, trying to thing of a way to keep Panther from killing her fiance. Suddenly, she turns to the crowd and looks down, noticing HHH's sledgehammer lying just on the other side of the guardrail. Moving as quickly as possible, she reaches over the rail, grabs the hammer and starts back to the ring. Then, as Panther continues to cinch up on the hold, Tina slides into the ring, runs up behind Panther and drives the BUTT of the hammer right into the back of his head, knocking him to the canvas! The crowd boos wildly as Tina looks down at Panther, tears streaming down her cheek as she stands above Panther, wielding the hammer. Dazed, Panther slowly pulls himself up to a knee, shakes the cobwebs loose, then looks up at Tina, a look of confusion in his eyes. Tina sobs as she and Panther look eyes. TINA (sniff) I'm sorry! And with that... *WHAM* Tina drives the hammer right into Panther's face, knocking him unconscious. She quickly discards the hammer, then grabs Bryte and pulls him on top of Panther, exiting the ring just as the referee begins to crawl back inside. COLE Oh no! No! Don't tell me! The ref slowly pulls himself into position to count the fall, crawling hand over hand... COLE No! Not like this! C'mon! Both combatants lie motionless on the mat, Bryte's arm draped across Panther's body...and the ref begins to count... 1.... 2...... 3!!!!!!!! * DING DING DING * Cue: "It's Goin' Down" BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR WINNER: CHRRRRRIIIIIIS...BRRRRRYYYYYYYYTE!!!!!! COLE DAMN IT!!!!!! NO!!! DAMN IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! CABOOSE Believe it, Cole! Panther's lost! Panther is done! Panther is gone from the OAOAST! I love it! COLE My God! I just can't...Panther... CABOOSE And don't even bother trying to make excuses Cole! You saw what happened! Panther tried to kill this man! He could've pinned Bryte anytime he wanted after The Truth from the middle rope, but he didn't! He tried to hurt Bryte! He tried to cripple him, and in the process, Panther beat himself! He's got no one to blame for this but himself, and I'm glad to see him gone! Good riddance! COLE Panther...I'm not gonna say I agree with his actions towards the closing stages but...to have it all end this way. This is...this is just unbelievable! On the floor, the camera spots Tina seated up against the ring apron bawling uncontrollably. She takes a deep breath to compose herself, climbs back to her feet, then reaches into the ring, grabbing Bryte by his right arm and dragging his lifeless body out to the floor. She drapes his right arm around her neck, wraps her arm around his waist and begins to carry the youngster back up the ramp to the locker room, with the crowd booing wildly as she makes her exit. At the top of the ramp, she turns back to the ring and takes once last look at Panther. She wipes a tear from her right eye, turns back to the locker room, and carried Bryte back through the curtain

    The Year of Living Angleously

The match-up graphic for Panther/Chris Bryte appears on screen, drawing a slight pop from the crowd. Career Match: 2/3 Falls Panther vs. Chris Bryte Cole Ladies and gentlemen...UP NEXT! It's 2-out-of-3-Falls! Panther vs. the rookie, Chris Bryte! Both men's wrestling careers will be on the line! Fans...let's take a look at what led up to this encounter! Dramatic music plays in the background as we fade into a video package highlighting the entire Panther/Tina/Chris Bryte saga (starting with Panther's loss to the unknown Bryte on the January 1st HeldDOWN and showing clips of Tina's revealing her relationship with Bryte a week later, Panther's winning the 24/7 Title, Panther's successful title defense against Bryte from early February, the whole ordeal with Bryte, Tina and Axel, which led to Bryte accidentally costing Panther the 24/7 Title to Axel, a backstage confrontation between Panther and Tina, during which Tina begs with Panther not to retaliate against Bryte, warning him that she'll be forced to side with Chris against him if he does, the Panther/Gunner match, which Panther loses thanks in part to a miscue from guest ref Chris Bryte, Bryte's marriage proposal to Tina, Panther snapping on Tina after she asks him to be the best man for their wedding, the mysterious attack on Tina from two weeks ago, which left her hospitalized with a minor skull fracture, Bryte walking in on a Panther/Tina kiss from this past week's show and him subsequently challenging Panther to a career match for the PPV, which Panther reluctantly accepts). When the video ends, we cut to the interview area, where Jackie Gayda (with a mic) is standing alongside Tina. The fans inside the arena give a mixed reaction when Tina's image appears on the Angletron. JACKIE Well, fans, you just saw how this situation with Panther and Chris Bryte came about. Right now, I'm back here with Tina, Chris Bryte's fiancee and Panther's former manager. And Tina, first off, I'd just like to know what kind of condition you're in after that attack you suffered two weeks ago? TINA Well, Jackie, I'm not 100% by any means. I feel like crap to be honest, I probably shouldn't even be here...but with everything that's been going on between Panther and Chris lately, I felt I needed to be here. JACKIE I understand. Now Tina, we're just about ready for the match...it's a career match, as you know. 2-out-of-3 falls. And in the past, Tina, you've been quoted as saying that in an issue between Panther and Bryte, regardless of your history with Panther or any feelings that you've held for him in the past, in the end, your support would lie firmly with your fiance, Chris Bryte. But one has to wonder...after what we saw this past Thursday on HeldDOWN...with the kiss you shared with Panther...have your feelings on the matter changed any...? Tina looks troubled as Gayda holds the mic up to her lips, awaiting her answer. She opens her mouth, preparing to speak, but before she's able to respond... CHRIS BRYTE (off camera) Wait a minute! Wait just a darn minute, Jackie! Both women jump, startled by the unexpected interuption, and the crowd inside the arena boos wildly as Chris Bryte enters the picture. He places his right arm around Tina, pulls her close to his chest, and, with his left hand, moves the mic towards his mouth. BRYTE Have her feelings changed, Jackie?! What kinda stupid question is that?! Of course they haven't changed! What you have to realize, what the people need to realize, and most importantly, what PANTHER needs to realize is that Tina and I...WE'RE IN LOVE! (crowd boos) She loves me, I love her, and there's nothing that Panther or anybody walking the face of this earth could ever do to change that! Now Jackie...I hear you speak about that kiss in the hospital last week, and I know what you're thinking! You're just like all these little teenie boppers out there! You think it's SOOOO cute! SOOOO romantic! But Jackie, you and all these Panther groupies out there fail to realize the truth of it all...that Panther took advantage of an injured woman! She was medicated! She didn't know what was going on! She was vulnerable and Panther took advantage of her, and that, in my eyes, makes Panther probably the lowest piece of crap walking the face of this earth! And to think, Panther! To think that I tried so hard to be your friend! That I tried so hard to put our differences aside and help you out...only to have you pull something like this! You make me SICK! (crowd boos) Well tonight, Panther, I make you pay for what you've done! All of the pain that you've caused me over the past week will come back onto you! 2-out-of-3 falls! Me and you! They said that my first win over you was a fluke! People said that there was no way that I could beat you again! Well tonight, Panther, I'm gonna prove all the critics wrong! Tonight, not only will I beat you again...I'm gonna do it twice in one match! And when I'm through with you, Panther, not only can you never show your face in the OAOAST again, but you will never be able to come near Tina AGAIN! Never! As long as you live! The crowd boos in the background, and mild chants of "Chris Bryte Sucks" start up inside the arena. Chris grits his teeth, turns to Tina and gives her a hard kiss on the cheek. He then turns back to the camera with a look of intensity. BRYTE Panther...the time for talk is done! Now, it's showtime, and I guarantee you that you're in for the shock of a lifetime when we step in that ring! Forget about the Panther's Way! Tonight, and for now on...things around here are only gonna be going the Chris Bryte way! And guess what Panther...THERE CAN'T BE ANY OTHER WAY! (LOUD boos from the crowd) C'mon, Tina! Let's go! Bryte kisses her on the cheek once more and storms out of the scene, leaving Tina alone with Jackie. Tina is trembling a bit, and has a look of fear on her face as she glares in Brytes direction. She then turns to Jackie, sighs, and follows Bryte off camera. Our camera then cut back to ringside, focusing on a group of fans in the front row holding up signs such as "HOFF DADDY", "Sly Sommers is my Hero", and "Panther and Tina, sittin' in a tree...". We focus on these signs for a good 10 seconds, when suddenly, *TRIPLE H * shoves his way through the crowd and leaps into camera shot, a sledgehammer in his right hand and a water bottle in the other. COLE Well folks...you see all the big names are in the house for this one. We've even got the WWE's Triple H in attendence! COACH Yup. THE GAME is in the house! CABOOSE Christ! He even holds the fans down! Look at him! Triple H poses and spits water for a few moments, all while trying to keep nearby fans out of his camera shot. We then cut to Michael Buffer, who's standing in the center of the ring with a mic. BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen...the following contest is a CAREER MATCH, and is scheduled for the best 2-out-of-3 falls! "It's Goin' Down" by the Linkin' Park feat. the X-Ecutioners hits the PA system, and the arena slowly fades to black. A deep blue hue covers the arena, white strobe lights begin flashing at the entrance, and a thick smoke pours out from the locker room. Watch them flee Watch them flee Watch them flee Hip-Hop hits And you do it like this Suddenly, the locker room curtains swing open and Chris Bryte steps out from the locker room, met by a chorus of boos from the capacity crowd. Tina follows closely behind him, and after Bryte takes a few moments to play to the crowd, he throws his right fist into the air and the couple heads down the ramp to ringside. Buffer Introducing first...being accompanied to the ring by his fiancee, TINA...hailing from Topeka, Kansas, weighing in tonight at One Hundred and Seventy-Five pounds...here is CHRIS...BRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::The crowd boos loudly at the mention of Bryte's name. Upon reaching ringside, Bryte slides under the bottom rope, springs to his feet and runs towards the far corner, hopping onto the middle turnbuckle and raising the double fists to the crowd, holding the pose as numerous camera flashes go off around the arena:: Cole There he is, folks! Chris Bryte! His very first PPV match, and boy is it a doozy! Caboose "A doozy?!" Really, Cole! What are you? 80?! Geez! Cole (Rolls eyes) Yeah, well...Chris Bryte sounds very confident heading into this match, 'Boose. Which is good, but...well...keep in mind that this man just began wrestling in January! His first match EVER was on January 1st against Panther! Caboose And he BEAT Panther! Fair and square, might I add! Cole Well...whether or not it was a clean win is debatable, but it was a win nonetheless. However, as far as tonight goes...I dunno, guys! I just can't see Bryte winning this thing! Coach I feel ya home slice! I mean, really! Bryte has to pin Panther not once, but TWICE to win this thing. I can't even see him doing it once! I think Bryte made a mistake by asking for this match! A career match at that! Caboose Ah, listen to you two! Now I don't like Bryte at all! Personally, I'd just love to see these two idiots just destroy each other and be gone from the OAOAST forever! But you've gotta see this match for what it is! This isn't just a match! This is personal! Panther tried to take advantage of this man's woman! The love of his life! Bryte's mad! He's pissed off, and he will stop at nothing to beat Panther here...and I think that he's gonna do it! He's got the motivation, and most importantly, he's got Tina! Cole Yes...but what role *will* Tina play in this match?! Caboose What do you mean what role...didn't you just see what happened backstage?! She's standing by her man! Coach I dunno! She didn't look to enthusiastic in the locker room a second ago! Cole I dunno. So many questions relating to this match! The time for answers is now! Here we go, folks! By now, Bryte has hopped down from the ropes and is now warming up in the ring. Suddenly, Bryte's music abruptly stops, and "State Prop (You Know Us)" hits the PA system. The arena suddenly goes black, and after approximately 5 seconds... **BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~!** ...a HUGE pyro blast at the entrance rocks the arena. Flashing red and white spotlights swarm the arena, roaming the crowd momentarily before converging on stage, where Panther appears through a thick cloud of smoke, to a standing ovation from the crowd. Clad in his white "Panther 215 gear" with red trim, Panther appears to be in deep thought as he strolls towards the edge of the take and pauses, glaring into the crowd with a look of intensity. Then, as the horns begin to blare in the background, Panther, on cue, raises his arms high above his head, holding the pose momentarily as white spotlights illuminate the set behind him, then snaps them down by his sides. The spotlights disperse about the arena, Panther takes a deep breath, then starts down the ramp WITH PURPOSE~!:: Buffer His opponent...hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...weighing in tonight at One Hundred and Ninety-Eight Pounds...he is known around the world as the Champion of Champions...PAAAAAAAAAAANTHERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Cole What an ovation for Panther! These fans are on their feet for the Champion of Champions! They are on their feet for...for... Coach What the hell?! Panther is about 3/4 the way down the ramp when suddenly, a LAARGE, muscular black man climbs over the ringside barricades and saunters into his path. Panther stops dead in his tracks, confused as the unknown man turns to him with his arms folded against his chest. Coach My God, AHMED JOHNSON LIVES~! Cole That's not Ahmed! I dunno who this man is, but... As Panther eyes the large man uneasily, the lights slowly return to normal, giving us a better look at the man. He's wearing a dark blue tank top, fairly tight-fitting blue jeans and dirty tan boots, and has a crazed smile on his face as he gazes psychotically at Panther. Panther shrugs his shoulders and takes a couple of steps towards the man, when suddenly, the monster springs into action, raising his right leg and... *WHAM* ...mowing Panther down with a thunderous Mafia Kick!!! Panther's music stops abruptly and the crowd begins to boo wildly as the man hovers above Panther, motioning for him to get up. Cole My God! Caboose He almost took his head off! Cole This man has just assaulted Panther! Panther's supposed to be wrestling a career match here...what the...what...oh no! Coach He's busted! Indeed. The camera does a close-up on Panther's face, and a small trickle of blood begins to stream down his forehead. Panther slowly begins to pull himself back to his feet, but as soon as he reaches a vertical base, the unknown man sends him right back down with a HARD right hand to the forehead. Panther instinctively springs back to his feet, but he's mowed right back down with another right! Panther springs back up one more time, and is on rubber legs, staggering around the ramp, throwing punches at the air, hoping to, in some way, fend off this surprise onslaught. Then, with a sinister smile on his face, the monster opens his right hand, rears back, extending it high into the air, then brings it down onto Panther's head, locking him in a claw hold. The crowd boos wildly in the background. Cole Claw hold! This monster has Panther... Caboose Can you believe this?! Coach This guy's hand is almost as big as Panther's head! Good God! Cole Where the hell is security?!?!?! ::Panther's screaming bloody murder as the big man squeezes the life out of him with his right hand; Panther's blood runs down his hands and wrists as the man applies more and more pressure. The man squeezes and squeezes, driving Panther down to one knee as, at ringside, a nervous Tina looks on in horror. She fidgets a bit, contemplating whether or not she should help out her former companion. Then, as officials and event staff begin to pour out of the locker room, Tina decides to take action. She runs up the ramp, rears back and blasts the behemoth with a clubbing forearm between the shoulder blades, causing him to drop Panther's limp body to the ground. The shot really doesn't have an effect on him, however, and he turns sharply to face her, causing Tina's eyes and mouth to open in fear. Her teeth begins to chatter, her knees begin to shake, and she slowly raises her right hand, pointing her index finger in the man's direction... Tina Y-y-y...(gulps) YOU~! ::The man nods his head affimatively and smiles, advancing on Tina. However, before he can do any damage, he's grabbed by a bevy of security guards, who desperately struggle to muscle the man's arms behind his back so that they can cuff him. 3 or 4 more guards rush onto the scene, and after a moment of struggle, they're able to put the cuffs on the man:: Cole Finally! Security able to get this situation under control! Coach Tina said "You!" Like she recognized him or something. Cole She seemed scared to death on top of that....guys...you don't think...could this have been the man who attacked Tina?! Coach I dunno. This is crazy! ::Security is preparing to escort him out of the building, when suddenly, the man snaps his cuffs and in one motion, flings his arms into the air, throwing ALL of the guards and event staff that tried to subdue him to the ground. He shoots a sinister glance at Tina (freezing her in her tracks), then smugly looks down at the semi-conscious Panther, who's lying at his feet. His damage already done, he flicks the blood off of his hands, steps over Panther's body and climbs back into the crowd from where he came. In the ring, Bryte and the assigned referee look on in confusion:: Cole Panther's hurt, folks! Caboose No crap! Did you see the size of that guy's hands?! Cole This monster of a man has just laid out Panther...why?! I dunno! All I know is that we've got a wrestler down...we've got a match scheduled here...my God! ::With the fans cheering him on, Panther rolls over onto his stomach, presses the palms of his hands against the steel ramp and slowly begins to push himself back to his feet. However, Panther's completely out of it from the attack, and ends up falling back down onto his face. Panther tries to push himself back up a second time, to similar results. Panther then begins crawling forward, pulling himself hand over hand before falling once more, this time at the feet of Tina. The crowd clamors in anticipation of Tina's actions. Tina nervously looks down at Panther (who's grasping her right foot), then turns back to the ring to look at Bryte. Unsympathetic, Bryte motions for her to throw Panther into the ring. Tina seems confused, and looks down at Panther a second time, who's bleeding profusely. She starts to reach down to help him up, but suddenly stops, turns and looks back at Chris. Again, Bryte tells her to throw him into the ring. Tina takes a deep breath, sighs, and then reaches down, clasping Panther's left arm in her hands. Slight chants of "TI-NA, TI-NA" are starting up in the crowd (primarily among the famale fans) as she drapes Panther's arm around her neck, wraps her arms around his waist, and gently helps him to his feet. Tina pauses once Panther reaches a standing position, taking a long, hard look at Panther's face as the blood streams down. Panther's body nearly slips out of her arms, but she catches him and pulls him close, looking deep into Panther's eyes. Tears appear to be building up in Tina's eyes as she gazes at him for a moment, and it appears as if she may ignore Bryte's request and help Panther back to the locker room. However, she suddenly turns, drags him over to the ring apron and rolls Panther inside, drawing slight boos from the crowd. The referee calls for the bell:: **Ding Ding Ding** Cole Tina rolling Panther back into the ring. This match is underway! Coach Panther's not moving though. How can the ref ring the bell to start the match when Panther's obviously...he's not in shape to wrestle. Cole Well...yes. Judgment call by the official. But watch Panther here! Panther's starting to move... Indeed. Panther extends his right hand into the air, making desperate swipes at the air as he attempts to roll over onto his stomach. Panther's too weak though, and once again collapses, this time falling flat on his back. Hovering above him, Bryte turns, looks at the crowd for a moment...then drops to the mat for a lateral press on Panther. He hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3!!!! *DING DING DING* ::The crowd boos LOUDLY as Bryte springs back to his feet with his arms raised high into the air:: Cole I can't believe it! Buffer Here is your winner of the first fall...CHRIS...BRYTE!!!!!!! Cole Chris Bryte has just defeated Panther to take the first fall of the match... Caboose And what about that, Cole?! What about that, Coach?! You said that it couldn't be done, but there it is! Right there in the middle of the ring, Chris Bryte has just pinned Panther for the second time! Coach Oh sure. Only after the man got his ass kicked on the outside! Caboose Oh stop your excuses, Cole! Chris Bryte has just proved you wrong! You and all of these moronic fans here tonight! I love it! Cole The fans don't like this, but that fall's gonna count, unfortunately. Panther's got a 30 second rest period and fans, let's take another look at what just went down a moment ago. ::The Living Angleously logo scrolls across the screen as we cut to an instant replay of Panther being assaulted on the outside by the unknown man. We then flash to the image of Panther lying in the ring, with Bryte easily covering his prone body for the 1-2-3. The Living Angleously logo scrolls back across the screen to end the replay, and in live action, Panther is still down on the mat as the referee calls for the bell to start the second fall.:: *DING DING DING* Now with a big grin on his face, Bryte walks back over to the fallen Panther and goes for another lateral press... Caboose This'll do it right here! Coach No! Kick out, Panther! 1... 2... THRRR--NO!!!!!!!!!! Panther gets his right foot on the bottom rope at the last second, drawing a pop from the crowd. Angered, Bryte hooks the right leg and orders the ref to count once more. 1... 2... THRRRRRR--NOOOOO!!!!!! PANTHER KICKS OUT BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE, drawing another pop from the crowd. Frustrated, Bryte strikes the mat, then grabs Panther with both hands and begins choking him on the mat. The crowd boos in the background as he bangs Panther's head against the canvas repeatedly! Referee C'mon, Chris! Break the choke! Break it! 1...2... Bryte breaks on two, then mounts Panther, sitting on his chest as he rains down with piston-like right hands to the open wound on his head. He then begins ripping and clawing at the gash as the referee attempts to pull him off of Panther! Cole Chris Bryte is vicious here in the early going! Indeed he is! The referee finally succeeds in pulling Bryte off of Panther, and Panther rolls over to a kneeling position, trying to shake off the effects of the earlier attack, but Bryte's right back on him, charging in with a kick to the face that sends Panther tumbling backwards to the mat. Panther pulls himself back to his knees once again, but another well-placed boot by Bryte sends the Champ of Champs falling back into the second turnbuckle of a nearby corner. Bryte again pounces Panther, leaping onto his chest with a double stomp, then jamming his right foot into Panther's throat choking him once more and causing Panther to kick and flail his legs wildly. The referee steps in once again. Referee 1...2...3...4...BREAK THE DAMN CHOKE! Bryte refuses to, however, and the referee is once again forced to pull Bryte off of Panther, grabbing two handfuls of hair and yanking him to the canvas, much to the crowd's delight. Bryte pops back to his feet and begins arguing with the ref, giving Panther some much-needed time to regain his bearings. Panther reaches up, grabs the top rope with both hands and pulls himself back to a standing position. However, as soon as he reaches his feet, Bryte charges in on him again, catching Panther with a running forearm to the jaw that sends him back into the buckle. Bryte buries a couple of boots into Panther's midsection, then grabs Panther's right arm for an Irish whip... Oh! But Panther holds onto the top rope to block the move! Caboose Uh oh! Cole Panther's still got some life left in him, folks! Bryte tries the whip a second time, but again, Panther holds on. Bryte catches Panther with another forearm shot, followed by two more stomps to the midsection to soften him up before trying the whip again. However, Panther manages to counter, reversing the momentum on Bryte and pulling him up onto his shoulders in fireman's carry position Cole The Deep End! Panther's got Bryte in position for the Deep End-- But Bryte quickly manages to slip off of Panther's shoulders, landing behind him. He shoves Panther forward, into the ropes, going up for a very HIIIIIGH elevation dropkick as Panther comes off, but... *THUD* ....PANTHER HOLDS ON, and Bryte hits HARD off the canvas, again, to the crowd's delight. As Bryte winces in pain on the mat, Panther quickly moves in on him, grabbing Bryte's legs, stepping through with his right leg, and grapevining Bryte's legs with his own. Bryte desperately attempts to fight, but it's no use, as Panther swings his left leg over, and sits down on the... Cole SHARPSHOOTER!!!!!! SHARPSHOOTER!!!!!! PANTHER'S GOT IT LOCKED!!!!!! Yes! The crowd ERUPTS as Panther wrenches back on the hold, with Bryte scratching and clawing at the mat, trying to find a way of escape. Cole Fans, you remember it was one month ago at Anglemania! Gunner Sharps had Panther locked in this very hold when Chris Bryte, the assigned official for the match, called for the bell, claiming that Panther had tapped out! Panther denied tapping! He believes that Chris Bryte screwed him out of that match at Anglemania, and right here tonight, he could be seconds away from getting his revenge by making Chris Bryte tap to the Sharpshooter FOR REAL! Caboose Get to the ropes, Chris! Get to the ropes--NO! DON'T TAP! Bryte has his right hand extended into the air and appears to be ready to bring it down to the canvas, when suddenly, Panther releases the hold and drops to one knee, holding his head with his right hand. The official quickly runs to Panther's side to check on him. Coach It appears that Panther hasn't quite shaken the effects of that attack before the match. As the referee confers with Panther to see if he's able to continue, Bryte crawls over to the ropes on the far side of the ring and begins to pull himself back to his feet. Panther shakes the cobwebs loose, and pushes himself back to his feet, with his back facing Bryte. Immediately, Bryte tries to take advantage, charging Panther from behind and trying for a clothesline, but Panther spots him out of the corner of his eyes and ducks under. Bryte's momentum sends him into the ropes, and as he comes off, he runs right into a Dusty Rhodes-like elbow from Panther that sends him straight to the mat. Panther staggers into the ropes and Bryte quickly returns to his feet, hoping to capitalize once again. He charges in at Panther but gets caught coming in, and with a T-Bone Suplex, Panther dumps Bryte over the top rope and out to the floor, right at Tina's feet. Panther still appears somewhat groggy, stumbling out towards the center of the ring as Tina attends to her fiance on the outside. Bryte's furious, however, and shoves her off of him. He pulls himself back to a standing position and climbs back onto the apron, but a well-timed forearm shot from Panther knocks him right back to the floor. Bryte quickly pulls himself back up and climbs back onto the apron a second time, but another forearm shot sends him to the floor again! Bryte is PISSED, and begins banging at the ringside mats as he sits out on the floor admidst taunts from the ringside fans. Tina again offers to help Bryte up, but he shrugs her off again, and returns to his feet once more. He grabs a hold of the middle rope and pulls himself back to to the apron a third time, where Panther's waiting for him.. *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOO~! HARD chop to the chest of Bryte has the rookie reeling! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOO~! A second chop sends Bryte leaning backwards, gripping the top rope tightly in order to keep from falling from the apron. Panther then begins to go to work! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOO~! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOO~! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOOOOOO~! Three VICIOUS chops to the chest of Bryte has the younger reeling as he releases the top rope to clutch his beet-red chest with his left hand. Seizing the opportunity, Panther runs over to a near corner and perches himself upon the top rope. Before Bryte can realize what's going on, Panther leaps from the top, taking the rookie from the apron and to the floor with a beautifully executed flying rana. The crowd comes to its feet, with numerous "HOLY SHIT" chants breaking out across the arena. As Chris Bryte lies convulsing on the arena floor, Panther slaps the ringside mats, pushes himself back to his feet and...uh oh! UH OH!!! HE'S FIRED UP, DAMN IT~! Caboose Oh no! Cole Oh yes!!! Panther has just come alive, and will you listen to this crowd! The fans are frenzied as Panther huffs and puffs on the floor, gazing intensely into the crowd as chants of "PAN-THER, PAN-THER" start up once more. Panther then reaches for his right glove, slowly undoing the velcro, yanking the glove from his hand and tossing it down to the floor. He then reaches for his left glove and does the same. Then, he turns back to Bryte and motions for him to "C'MON!" Cole My goodness, Panther's intense! Bryte pulls himself back to his feet, only to get ROCKED by a hard right hand from Panther! A second sends Bryte staggering back into the ring stairs, where Panther moves in on him, tearing into the rookie with a vicious flurry of rights! Lefts! Rights! Lefts! To to jaw! To the side of the head! Beating the rookie down into a seated position as the crowd goes wild in the background. Panther then turns away from Bryte, takes a couple of steps in the opposite direction (sending Tina scurrying around to the other side of the ring in the process), then turns back towards Bryte, charging and catching him with a running dropkick to the head, sandwiching the poor rookie's head up against the unforgiving steel. Panther springs right back to his feet and motions for the crowd to get up, inciting more cheers as Bryte's broken body slumps slowly to the floor! Cole It is ALL Panther right now! He is owning Chris Bryte at this moment, and these fans are absolutely loving it. Tina cautiously peers around the corner of the ring, nervously watching on as Panther stands above Bryte, looking down at the blood, which has run from his head and is now flowing down onto his jersey. With his right hand, Panther wipes some of the blood away from his forehead then reaches down, picks Bryte up and rolls him into the ring. Chris scrambles back to his feet as Panther follows him in. Cole The action now making its way back into the ring, and look at Bryte, guys! He's out of it! Indeed. Now, it's Bryte who's swinging wildly at the air, desperately trying to fend off Panther's onslaught. He manages to spot Panther and sends a wild right in his direction, but Panther ducks under and DRILLS him with another hard right hand. Bryte tries another, but Panther ducks once again, and another right hand sends him staggering back into a nearby corner. Panther moves in on him, catching him with a boot to the midsection, followed up by a HARD knife edge chop. He then grabs Bryte's right arm and sends him across the ring, causing him to hit backfirst off the opposite buckle and stagger out to the center of the ring. Panther quickly grabs the youngster and whips him back into the original buckle, this time with Bryte hitting HARD, sternum-first off the buckles. As Bryte staggers back out to the center of the ring, Panther comes up from behind, grabs a rear waistlock, and dumps him on the back of his head with a VICIOUS-looking German suplex. Panther springs back to his feet and shoots another look of intensity into the main camera. Cole This is vintage Panther, folks! Panther turns back to Bryte, who's now bleeding from the head due to Panther's attack on the floor. He motions for him to get up, and Bryte obliges, pulling himself up to a knee, then to a standing position, then lunging at Panther with another wild right...but Panther ducks under, grabs another rear waistlock, and FOLDS HIM UP with another German, taking him over with such force that Bryte rolls backwards onto his knees, then falls facefist onto the mat. On the floor, Tina covers her eyes, as the crowd noise gets louder. Cole We could be moments away from seeing the end of the second fall, fans! Panther is hot! This crowd is red hot! And Chris Bryte may be ripe for the pickings! Panther is now standing above Bryte, as we've seen so many times before, begging, pleading with the youngster to get back up! Bryte tries to oblige him, pulling himself back to his knees, and slowly crawling over to the ropes. When he reaches them, he grabs the top rope, attempting to pull himself back up, but is too weak, and ends up collapsing throat-first across the middle rope. Concerned, Tina runs around the ring and over to her fiance, trying to hold back to tears as she watches him lying motionless across the middle rope. She reaches up to him, clasping his bloodied face in her hands... ...but Panther quickly intervenes, grabbing the waistband of Bryte's trunks and yanking him off the ropes (to a good-sized pop from the crowd). He pulls the groggy youngster back to standing position, and as Tina looks on, trembling from the outside, Panther grabs another rear waistlock... Coach Third German coming up-- NO!!!!!! Bryte with a reverse elbow catches Panther on the jaw! A second elbow breaks Panther's grip, sending him stumbling backwards. Bryte rests against the top rope for a moment, taking a second or two to gather himself before turning to Panther and firing off another wild right hand. Panther ducks under yet again, slips behind Bryte, grabs another rear waistlock, and takes the rookie up and over with a release German... Crowd OOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!! Cole Dear GOD! ...dropping Bryte stomach-first on the top turnbuckle with incredible impact. Tina cringes on the outside as Panther springs back to his feet, and a loud chant of "HOLY SHIT" starts up from the crowd. Coach Did you hear Bryte's body hit off that turnbuckle?! Cole Chris Bryte is being absolutely taken apart by the Champion of Champions! My God, this is getting brutal! The referee moves in to check on Bryte, who's teetering upside down on the buckle. Suddenly, Panther grabs the ref by his shirt and tosses him aside (drawing another crowd pop), then begins going to work Bryte, stomping him in the back of the head repeatedly. The referee move in a second time, trying to stop the onslaught, but is shoved aside once more by Panther, who walks over to the opposite buckle and turns back to Bryte, measuring him. With the crowd cheering him on, Panther grits his teeth, slaps his chest and darts across the ring, catching Bryte with a low dropkick to the back of the head that sends Bryte's face crashing HARD off the middle turnbuckle. The referee admonishes Panther, but he's shoved aside again. Panther climbs back to his feet, walks over to the buckle, grabs Bryte by the hair pulls him upright, allowing us to see his face. In addition to the head injury, Bryte's now bleeding from the nose and is coughing up blood from his mouth (which may or may not be the result of an internal injury). Panther shoves Bryte up, causing him to lean backwards, nearly falling off the top turnbuckle. Panther then rips into Bryte with a chop... *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOO~! ...and another... *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOO~! And ANOTHER! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOOOO~! With Bryte completly out of it on the top rope, Panther begins to climb up with him, placing both feet on the second rope, pulling himself up...then deciding to go a rung higher...ALLLL THE WAY TO THE TOP! Caboose What's he going for now?! With both men up on top, Panther nails Bryte with a right hand. A second. He then grabs Bryte in a front facelock, drapes his right arm up over his head, and begins pulling the rookie back to a standing position. Bryte places both feet on the to turnbuckle, trying to steady himself to keep from falling off, when suddenly, Panther hooks Bryte's right leg with his left arm, and with the crowd cheering once again in the background, Panther lifts him up and takes him ALLL THE WAY DOWN with a tremendous... Cole PANTHERPLEX!!!!!!!! MY GOD! THE PANTHERPLEX FROM THE TOP!!!!!!!!! The men hit the canvas with incredible impact, but Panther manages to hold his grip, and kips up into a bridge! Coach And that'll do it right there! The ref slides into position and counts the fall... 1... 2... 3!!!!!! NO! NO! NO!!! ONLY A TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cole and Coach WHAT?! Cole How in the hell...after all the punishment Bryte has taken, how is he even...how did he kick outta that?! Caboose I told you idiots! The man's got determination! He's motivated! He will not allow himself to be beaten by Panther! Cole Well he may not have a choice here in a moment! Look at this. Panther brings Bryte back to a standing position and rips into him with another chop! Another! Panther with another Irish whip sends Bryte bouncing off the buckle, and Panther catches him coming off with a NOT-SO MAIN EVENT SPINEBUSTER, planting him in the center of the ring. Back to his feet, Panther looks down at Bryte, then starts towards the turnbuckle. The crowd pops as Panther steps out to the apron and begins making the climb. Cole Fans...despite that attack before the match, Panther has pretty much dominated this one. He has owned this match. Chris Bryte...unfortunately for him, just no match for Panther, and we may be about the see the beginning of the end of this young man's career! The crowd comes to its feet as Panther reaches the top and looks down upon Chris Bryte, who lies bloodied and beaten on the canvas. Suddenly, Tina pulls herself onto the apron and grabs Panther's attention. Coach What's this?! The teary-eyed Tina begins pleading with Panther not to jump, imploring him to just call the match off instead. The crowd boos in the background, with a large (mostly male) portion of the crowd beginning to chant "FUCK HER UP, PAN-THER, FUCK HER UP! **CLAP CLAP**" Panther says something to Tina and the two begin to argue. Suddenly, Chris Bryte comes to life, springing to his feet, dashing towards the corner where Panther is, springboarding off the second rope and leaping into the air, catching Panther with an enzuiguri that sends him tumbling forward from the top rope. The crowd is in shock! Cole Chris Bryte... Coach Did you just...did I just see what I thought I saw?! Cole Great athletecism by Bryte...I certainly...I never saw that coming. Caboose Look at Tina! I don't even think *she* saw it coming either! That seems to be the case, as Tina's looking at Bryte with mouth wide open. As she hops off the apron, the injured Bryte pulls himself back up and limps over to a far corner, clutching at his ribs. Meanwhile, Panther shakes loose the cobwebs from the enzuiguri and picks himself back up. He turns, spots Bryte in the corner and moves in on him. When he gets there, however, Bryte swiftly turns and catches him with a stiff looking kick to the right calf, causing Panther to drop down to a knee. Bryte limps over to another corner as Panther, seemingly more surprised than hurt, picks himself back up once again. Again, he sees Bryte resting in the buckle and decides to go after him. He moves in on Bryte, rearing back, perhaps going for another Dusty-like elbow, but as he's following through, Bryte turns sharply again, catching Panther's elbow in his left hand. As Panther looks on in confusion, Bryte (with his right hand) catches Panther with a swift judo chop to the kidneys and an open-hand thrust to the armpit, again, causing Panther to drop to his knees in pain. As Panther attempts to gather himself, Bryte walks out to the center of the ring, turns and motions for Panther, screaming "C'MON YOU SONUVABITCH!" Bryte slaps the canvas, with a look of intensity in his eyes, and when Panther turns to face him... *CRACK* He's met with a VICIOUS martial arts kick right to the shoulder blade! *CRACK* Another catches Panther right in the side of the neck. Then, Bryte takes a martial arts stance, lets loose a wild battle cry and... *CRACK~!* NAILS Panther with a roundhouse kick to the side of the jaw, putting him flat on his back! The crowd boos wildly as Bryte saunters around the ring with a smug look on his face. On the floor, Tina's shooting Bryte a "WTF?!" stare! Coach Where the hell is this coming from?! Cole I...I dunno. I really don't know! The ref attends to Panther, who's sitting on the mat holding his jaw. When asked if he can continue, Panther once again shoves him aside and pushes himself back to his feet. However, as soon as he reaches a veritcal base, Bryte moves back in on him with a swift kick to the ribs, doubling him over. Another one to the shoulder spins Panther around. Panther tries to use his momentum to come at Bryte with a Roaring Elbow, but Bryte catches Panther's forearm with both hands, turns into it, and uses it to take Panther over with a jude throw! With Panther on the mat, Bryte, from behind, reaches around Panther's and clasps his hands, trapping Panther in a head and arm lock. Then, with his hands pulled up under Panther's throat, Bryte applies a bodyscissors and falls back to the canvas, wrenching back on the hold with all his might. Panther struggles to escape the hold, squirming and flailing his free arm in an effert to get loose. Luckily, the hold is applied close to the ropes, and Panther's able to hook the bottom rope with his right hand. Referee C'mon, Chris! Break it! 1...2...3... Bryte breaks on three, and climbs back to a standing position while Panther gasps for air on the mat. Suddenly, Bryte reaches down and slaps Panther in the back of the head, drawing his ire. He slaps him again, and we begin to see a look of anger building up in Panther's eyes. He pulls himself up to his knees and comes at Bryte with a spear, driving him back a few steps, but Bryte is able to drive Panther facefirst down to the canvas, where he begins tearing into the Champ of Champs with a series of VICOUS knee strikes to the top of the head. He then grabs Panther, pulls him into a front bodyscissors and locks him up in a guillotine choke. Bryte wrenches back of the head of Panther once again as Panther violently attempts to escape! Cole Chris Bryte...first with those martial arts strikes...now submission moves?! What the hell is going on? Coach I dunno. Before this, I don't think I've even seen the guy do anything other than punch, kick and choke. Cole This is shocking! Panther continues to fight the hold, but appears to be slowing down. Slowly, but surely, Panther begins to slump to the canvas. The crowd boos in the background as the referee moves in to check on Panther. He grabs his free hand and raises it high into the air... AND IT DROPS! Caboose He may have choked him out! A smile comes across Bryte's face as the referee raises Panther's hand a second time... IT DROPS AGAIN! The boos get louder and Bryte's smile gets wider! Cole I cannot believe what I'm seeing here! Caboose I'm loving this! How great will this be?! After the two of you ran your mouths about Bryte...saying you didn't think he had a chance in this match! How great would it be for him to not only beat Panther two falls straight, but to also end his career on a choke out?! Cole We could be seconds away from seeing that here! Tina looks on intently from the floor as the ref raises Panther's hand for the third and final time. The crowd begins clapping and stomping in unison, hoping to rally Panther back into the contest as the referee holds the arm high into the air...then releases it... AND THE ARM... IT DRRRR... IT DRRRRRRR... IT DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRO... NO!!!!!!!!! IT STAYS UP!!!!!! The crowd cheers as Panther comes alive once again, pressing the palm of his against the mat and, using his free legs, scratching, clawing, doing everything in his power, Panther manages to pull himself to the ropes. The the crowd ralling behind him, Panther extends his free hand, and...and... ...almost there... HE GOT IT! Panther grabs the bottom rope, drawing a pop from the capacity crowd. Referee Break it, Chris! 1...2...3...4... Bryte releases the hold on four and climbs back to his. The camera focuses on Tina on the floor, who mouths the word "Wow", and appears to breath a sigh of relief as Panther begins using the ropes to get back to his feet. Bryte wipes the blood from his face and moves in on Panther, rearing back, preparing to strike... ...but Panther catches him coming in with a reverse elbow right to to gut. A second one doubles Bryte over, and a third catches him right on the jaw, sending him staggering back out to the center of the ring. Bryte shakes loose the cobwebs and tries to get back on Panther before he makes it back to his feet, but Panther does make it back up, and as Bryte comes in, Panther blocks a right hand from his younger opponent and connects with one of his own, sending him staggering back out towards the center of the ring. Bryte tries to rebound and rears back to another right, but Panther blocks that one as well, and connects with another haymaker, sending Bryte back a few more steps! Bryte tries to come back in, only to be met with a left hand jab! A second! Panther triples up! Right cross to the jaw! Cole Panther's coming back! He's coming back-- NOPE! Bryte knocks down an attempted jab from Panther and comes over the top with one of his own, followed by a series of martial arts kicks and punches that send Panther reeling back into the ropes, much to the crowd's dismay. With Panther up against the ropes, Bryte tries for one last savate kick, which Panther catches. Panther shoves Bryte's leg back, spinning him around. However, Bryte uses the momentum from the spin to catch Panther on the jaw with a Shelton Benjamin-style spinning wheel kick, sending Panther tumbling backwards through the ropes and out onto the apron. Bryte quickly springs back to his feet and snaps his right fist into the air, drawing boos from the crowd. Cole Oh! Bryte mocking Panther! On the apron, Panther uses the middle rope to pull himself back to his knees. Bryte turns to him with a smile and charges forward, catching him square in the nose with a running front dropkick (one of Panther's favorite moves), sending the Champ of Champs falling backwards from the apron, with the back of his head smacking hard off the thin black mats at ringside. Bryte dances around the ring, soaking up the boos from the capacity crowd! On the floor, Tina again peers around the ringpost to check on Panther, then looks up at Bryte in the ring, who winks at her and flashes a smile! Bryte (to Tina) This is for you, baby!!!!!!! OWWWWWWWWWWW! Tina shoots Bryte a forced smile as Bryte walks forward and steps out to the apron, right above Panther. As Panther stumbles back to his feet (clutching at the back of his head), Bryte leaps from the apron, flooring Panther with a flying sidekick to the jaw. Bryte gets right on Panther once again, catching him with a couple of kicks to the ribs, and a hard strike to the small of the back. He then reaches down, grabs Panther by the back of his jersey and pulls him back to his feet. *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOO~! Bryte with a hard knife edge chop to the back of Panther's neck! *CRACK* Crowd WHOOOOOOOO~! Another one. Bryte grabs Panther by the back of the head and charges forward with him, sending him crashing headfirst into the steel guardrail. He takes a brief moment to play to the crowd before turning back to Panther and charging at him with an attempted scissors kick... ...but Panther ducks under the move, and Bryte's right leg comes crashing down across the barricade. Panther clutches at the back of his head, still feeling the effects of the tumble from the apron...not to mention everything else that's happened to him in this match. He then moves in, grabs Bryte's right leg (which is draped across the barricade) and slams it down across the railing once more, drawing another pop from the crowd. He does it once again! A third time! Panther then shoves Bryte over the barricade and into the front row, drawing an even louder pop from the crowd. Panther takes a moment to wipe the blood from his eyes, and then, as Bryte is climbing back to his feet, Panther leaps up onto the railing-- *CRACK* Coach DAMN~! BUT A ROUNDHOUSE KICK FROM BRYTE CATCHES HIM RIGHT IN THE TEMPLE, sending him falling back to the floor. The crowd boos in the background as Bryte flashes another smile and points at Panther's fallen body... ...then, the camera pans slightly to Bryte's right, where that damn Triple H is mugging for the camera again. Bryte eyes him uneasily as he repeatedly poses and spits water, with his sledgehammer in his right hand. *CRACK* Chris Bryte hauls off and blasts HHH with a roundhouse, drawing a LOUD pop from the crowd as Hunter's body falls to the floor, unconscious. Legit smile from Tina on that one. Coach Heh! Try holding *that* down, bitch! Cole Stop it! Bryte prepares to climb back over the guardrail, but stops himself. He then looks down at HHH's fallen body and spots the sledgehammer lying right next to his head. Suddenly, Bryte looks up at the camera, and a small light bulb appears (from thin air) over his head... Coach and Cole Oh no!!!!! OH YES! Bryte grabs said lightbulb from the air, shatters it, leaps back over the guardrail and JAMS ITS JAGGED EDGES INTO THE OPEN WOUND ON PANTHER'S FOREHEAD! The crowd looks on in disbelief! Caboose That was cute, Papa! Real, real cute! Yeah, wasn't it? Bryte tosses the lightbulb to the floor and grabs Panther, attempting to Irish whip him into the stairs, but Panther counters, baseball sliding across the floor in order to avoid impact with the stairs. As Panther scrambles back to his feet, Bryte charges in at him, rearing back for a clothesline... BUT PANTHER DUCKS UNDER, turns and goes for a clothesline of his own... BUT BRYTE DUCKS UNDER!!! Both men turn simultaneously and... *WHAM* ...catch one another with simultaneous forearm shots to the jaw. Both men stagger back a couple of steps, shake loose the cobwebs, then go at one another again... *WHAM* ...this time, catching one another on the jaw with simultaneous Mafia kicks! Both men fall limp to the arena floor, with the crowd giving a round of applause in the background. Cole Man! This one has turned into quite the war! Caboose Yeah. I've gotta admit, I wasn't expecting anything we've seen in this one. I didn't think we'd see a fight like this! Not between these two! Cole Both Panther and Bryte are down on the outside...and...there's Tina! The crowd clamors as Tina cautiously makes her way over to the fallen combatants. She looks down upon both men with a look of confusion on her face...then looks up at the ring, where the ref is looking down at her. The ref shrugs his shoulders at her, then finally (why he didn't do it earlier...) starts the 10 count on Panther and Bryte! 1.... 2.... 3.... Chris Bryte begins calling Tina's name, reaching out and grasping at her, seemingly asking for her help. Naturally, Tina walks over and prepares to help her fiance, but... 4... ...she suddenly stops in her tracks, and glances over at Panther. She looks down at Bryte once again, confusion written all over her face. She then walks away from Bryte and over to Panther, kneeling down by his head and preparing to pick him up, to the crowd's delight! BUT NO!!!! Tina stops once again and looks up at the ref, confused. The ref shrugs his shoulders once more and continues his count! 5.... Cole Tina...Tina doesn't know what to do! She doesn't know who to help! Caboose Well if she's gonna help anyway, she needs to be helping out her fiance!!! They're getting married soon! Remember! She remembers! And as the ref's count reaches 6, walks over to Bryte, reaches down and pulls him back to his feet. With Bryte back at a vertical base, Tina muscles him over to the apron and rolls him into the ring, drawing loud boos from the crowd. Cole Tina has made her choice!!! She has chosen to help out Chris Bryte...and look at Panther! He's down on the floor and he's not moving! Caboose And remember, guys! No more second chances for Panther here! This is 2-out-of-3 falls, but remember, Panther's already down a fall! If he gets counted out here, his wrestling career is OVER here in the OAOAST! As the referee's count hits 7, Tina turns her back to Panther, and the crowd boos her WILDLY for her decision. However, more indecision appears on Tina's face as she guiltily looks down at the floor, more tears building up in her eyes. She takes a deep breath and slowly turns her head, glancing over her left shoulder as Panther slowly begins to climb back to his feet. The referees count then reaches... 8! The crowd begins clapping and stomping in unison, trying to rally Panther back up. He pulls himself up to a knee...clutches his bloody forehead with his right hand, and... and... ...FALLS BACK DOWN!!!!!!!!! The referee's count reaches *9*!!! Caboose IT'S OVER! There's no way he can make it back in now! Cole Panther is down! Panther... Tina mutters the words "Damn it" to herself, turns and heads back to Panther. She grabs him by the back of his jersey, yanks him back to a standing position, and rolls him back into the ring JUST before the referee's count reaches 10! The crowd cheers in the background as Tina once again turns her back to the action, a look of guilt on her face. Caboose Can you believe her?! Bryte had the match won!!!! Cole Tina just helped Panther back in! Panther's still in this thing! Pan-- *CRACK* Cole DAMN IT! As soon as Panther pulls himself to a knee, Bryte charges at him, stepping up onto his knee and catching him right on the money with a SHINING WIZARD~! Panther falls backwards to the canvas, and Bryte falls into the cover. The referee slides into position and makes the count... 1... 2... 3!!!!!!! Cole NO! NO! NO!!!!!!! IT WAS ONLY A TWO!!!!!!!!!

    The Year of Living Angleously

Hoff vs. Gibraltar COLE Folks, we are moments away from the highly anticipated matchup between Gibraltar and Hoff! This one promises to be, to quote our old friend Jim Ross, a real "slobberknocker." CABOOSE Please, don't mention that guy again. This match is really more of a brawl than anything, as laid out by that inavlid Abe Vigoda. Kinda surprising that the old man had a good idea. COACH Yeah, the rules are simple: kick each other's ass! COLE A little more to it than that, Coach. The match will start in the ring, but the referee will be there only to monitor the progress as these two big men brawl to the back. The match will progress through the backstage area, until one of these men reaches the official HeldDOWN locker room and is declared the winner. The AngleTron shows a camera progressing through the hallways and to a door marked "HeldDOWN Locker Room". COACH It's a race! CABOOSE Very good, smart guy. COLE A race of sorts, but there's more to it than that. These guys are going to beat each other to a pulp! "Pompeii" by E. S. Posthumus plays over the arena speakers as Gibraltar appears at the top of the entranceway...alone. COACH Hey, where's St. Andrew? COLE Good question! MICHAEL BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, approaching the ring, from St. Andrew's Cathedral, he is arguably the most dominant force in professional wrestling...standing over seven feet tall and weighing a monstrous four-hundred and eighty pounds....GI-BRALLLLL-TAR!!!! Gibraltar stalks to the ring, a scowl on his face. He climbs the ring steps and steps over the top rope and into the ring, not acknowledging the chorus of boos coming from the stands. CABOOSE Saint Andrew is a smart man, guys. I'm sure he's around here somewhere. "Pompeii" fades out and the arena is silent for a moment, Suddenly, the lights go down and "Black" by Sevendust blares over the speakers as the fans come to their feet! BUFFER And his opponent! Strobe lights flash across the arena as Hoff steps on the stage, surveying the crowd. BUFFER Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is a true house of power. Weighing in at two-hundred and seventy-five pounds....HOFF!!!! Hoff walks toward the ring with purpose, keeping his eyes locked onto Gibraltar, then breaks into a sprint and slides into the ring! The bell rings as Hoff pounces to his feet and flies at Gibraltar!! Hoff floors Gibraltar and unloads a barrage of right hands! COLE Hoff is explosive! COACH And angry! Hoff pummels away at Gibraltar before pulling him up and throwing him into the ropes. Hoff runs off the other side, and catches Gibraltar with a spear! Gibraltar hits the mat and Hoff is on him again, throwing hard rights and lefts! COLE What a furious assault by Hoff! He's really taking it to Gibraltar! Gibraltar breaks free of Hoff's grasp and rolls to the outside. Hoff looks down at him for a second...then climbs the far turnbuckle and salutes the crowd! CABOOSE Oh, cripes. Always a suckup. COACH 'Booze, these fans are loving it! Gibraltar looks warily at Hoff, not sure what to make of the quick assault. Hoff hops off of the turnbuckle and beckons Gibraltar back in the ring. The monster climbs onto the apron, and locks eyes with Hoff. COLE Gibraltar is being very tenative right now, guys. CABOOSE He's probably trying to determine Hoff's biggest weakness. COACH I don't see one! CABOOSE YOU can't see anything. COACH Yeah, well...you can't see....ME! Coach waves his hand in front of his face...and disappears. COLE Um... CABOOSE ..... COLE That was odd. CABOOSE ...Oh, thank you, to whatever god did this. I am your servant. Gibraltar continues to stare at Hoff in the ring. A chant of "Hoff" picks up at ringside as Hoff tells the big monster to "come on." Finally, Gibraltar steps over the top rope and into the ring, but no further. COLE I think Gibraltar's really thrown off by not having St. Andrew at ringside to coach him. CABOOSE True. Andrew must have something really good in store if he left Gibraltar all alone. COLE But Gibraltar's no slouch in the ring either, we all know that. CABOOSE Hey, you don't have to tell me. This guy can flat-out GO. Gibraltar takes a tenative step toward Hoff, and Hoff....raises a hand. COLE Oh my! CABOOSE What? This isn't Crystal. Hoff's gonna get killed! Hoff wiggles his fingers, egging Gibraltar into the test of strength. Gibraltar looks at Hoff's hand once, then back into his eyes...and takes the hand. COLE What is Hoff thinking? Hoff raises his other hand, and Gibraltar reaches for it-- and Hoff KICKS HIM IN THE BALLS~! COLE Good lord! CABOOSE Aw, come on. That is dirty pool. COLE Hey, maybe, but a smart move by Hoff nonetheless. And legal in this match. Gibraltar sinks to his knees, letting loose a guttural scream of pain. Hoff looks out among the fans, smirks, and shrugs, and the chants grow louder. COLE Well these FANS love it! CABOOSE The fans are simps. Hoff raises both hands into the air, and drives a double-axehandle blow into the small of Gibraltar's back, sending the bigger man to all fours. Hoff kicks him HARD in the ribs, and Gibraltar falls to his face. Hoff begins to stomp away at Gibraltar's back, but again he rolls to safety. Gibraltar pulls himself up using the ropes, and turns to face Hoff-- HOFF COME ON, BITCH! The fans ROAR at this. Gibraltar charges in at Hoff, but Hoff slips behind Gibraltar. Gibraltar turns around, and Hoff peppers him with a series of right jabs! COLE Did you know Hoff used to be a bouncer? CABOOSE Well, it would explain all the brawls. You know what's really amazing is the level of insightful commentary since Coach blinked out of existance. COLE Amen to that. Hoff backs Gibraltar into a corner...but Gibraltar blocks a right hand, spins, and throws Hoff into the corner instead! COLE Hoff may be in trouble now. CABOOSE Well, Gibraltar's like a wild animal without Andrew, and you don't want to corner a rabid animal. Gibraltar charges in and plants a STIFF back elbow into Hoff's jaw, and another. Gibraltar rears back and delivers a HUGE back elbow to the temple that crumples Hoff into the corner. Gibraltar grabs Hoff and Irish whips him into the opposite corner, and Hoff lands HARD, back-first, and falls to his knees. COLE Now we're starting to see Gibraltar's immense power and-- OH MY! Gibraltar charges in at Hoff and hits a HUGE running boot to Hoff's face that snaps Hoff's head back! CABOOSE That was sick. I love it. Hoff's head wobbles almost comically before he falls, face-first, to the mat. Gibraltar walks over to him and begins stomping HARD onto Hoff's back and neck. COLE Well, we do know that not only is this monster powerful, he's downright brutal! A sick scowl passes over Girbaltar's face as he stomps at Hoff. Hoff reaches out for a nearby rope and begins pulling himself up, but Gibraltar literally stomps him down off the rope! Gibraltar picks Hoff up himself, though, and lets him stand woozily, while Gibraltar runs off the ropes and catches Hoff with a big lariat! Hoff lands on his shoulders and neck, actually flipping over backwards from the impact. COLE Hoff just got turned inside-out with that violent lariat clothesline! CABOOSE I got it. It's the neck. Gibraltar is going after Hoff's neck. COLE Hoff did need medical attention last month after his match with CWM at Anglemania. It's probably a good place to find a weakness! Hoff weakly grabs the back of his neck as he lies face-down on the mat. Gibraltar picks Hoff up and again runs off the ropes, but this time Hoff ducks the move, and catches Gibraltar coming off the far side with a standing dropkick! Gibraltar staggers back and almost falls over the ropes! COLE Nice move by Hoff! And Gibraltar better be careful! CABOOSE It's not hard for a seven-footer to stumble over the ropes, Cole. Hoff, though, takes a while to get to his feet, collecting himself on one knee. As Hoff gets up, Gibraltar drives a forearm into his back, sending Hoff reeling. Gibraltar clubs Hoff again, and then pulls Hoff around and whips him into the ropes. Gibraltar catches Hoff in a full military press as he comes off the ropes, and holds him up high! COLE Gibraltar just liften Hoff like he was nothing! Gibraltar presses Hoff over his head, then drops him quickly down into a powerslam! CABOOSE What impact! The wind has to be driven out of Hoff on that one. Gibraltar kicks Hoff in the side, rolling Hoff onto his stomach, then kicks him again back onto his back. Gibraltar bends down and yells into Hoff's face. GIBRALTAR YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME? COLE Pride from Gibraltar! CABOOSE It's not all about being Andrew's lackey, Cole. Gibraltar wants respect; from Hoff, and these people. The people, however, simply boo Gibraltar vehemently as he drags Hoff to his feet. Gibraltar wraps his hands around Hoff's throat and throws him into a corner, and begins pummeling away with stiff forearm shots! CABOOSE Gibraltar's in full control, Cole. Saint Andrew's plan won't even be necessary. There's your winner, right there. Hoff tries to get his arms up to shield the blows, but to no avail. Gibraltar POUNDS on Hoff, then steps back and chokes him with his boot. Hoff flails, but can't escape the hold. COLE That's one big boot! CABOOSE What are you, Coach? COLE Sorry. It is a big boot, though. Size 18. CABOOSE *whistles* Gibraltar lowers his boot, and Hoff falls to his knees, holding the ropes and gasping for air. COLE We were wondering when someone would try to win this thing, and it looks like Hoff may go for the gusto! CABOOSE But I don't know if one DDT is enough to keep Gibraltar down, and...wait, where's Hoff going? Hoff looks down the ramp, then turns and walks the other way, around the ring, to where Buffer and the timekeeper are seated. Hoff shoves the timekeeper off of his chair, and grabs it! COLE Uh-oh....oh, my, here we go. CABOOSE All this man does is cheat. Cheat and play foul and...and... COLE It's all legal! CABOOSE Bollocks. Caboose fumes as Hoff folds the steel chair and slides in the ring. Gibraltar is back to his feet and swings at Hoff, but Hoff simply raises the chair, and Gibraltar howls as his fist hits the steel. Remember that. COLE All right, Ted DiBiase...still, you may be right, that took a lot out of Hoff. Hoff slowly gets up, and actually slips back to his knees once before using the ropes for support. Meanwhile, Gibraltar finds his feet, but dazed. The two men stumble toward each other...and Hoff BODYSLAMS Gibraltar! COLE Good God! CABOOSE He got him over! Hoff falls from the strain of the move, but gets up quicker this time, and looks around. The arena breaks out in a chant of Hoff...and Hoff smiles back at the arena. COLE What a feat of strength by Hoff! Two HUGE power moves on the nearly 500-pound monster! CABOOSE Even I gotta admit, that's impressive. Still smiling, Hoff doubles over and grabs his back, but the feeling passes. Standing upright, Hoff looks around...and turns his eyes to the corner. COLE Oh my. Hoff points to the corner and the crowd goes wild! CABOOSE This could be trouble. Hoff, still favoring his back, heads outside and climbs up the ropes. COLE There it is, the Chokebreaker from Gibraltar! CABOOSE Oh, what a move, what sweet salvation... Gibraltar looks down at Hoff, who is barely moving.
