After picking up the game today, I agree with Bps' comments. Everytime Bond failed his mission I couldn't help but to go back and complete the mission instead of waiting till later. As for the game...WOW! They weren't lying when they said it felt like a real Bond film; the voice acting and score is cool. I played GoldenEye two or three times so I can't say EON tops it because I wouldn't know, expect I'm loving this game.

Basically. Savage became somewhat of a tweener (leaning towards face) color guy beginning shortly after the PPV. Jake had nothing to do with anything at that point. So did he want to take time off, or was it Vince's idea to make him an announcer? I assume he then decided he wanted to come back, so they came up with the wedding and the Jake heel turn. IIRC, Savage wanted time off because him & Liz planned on starting a family. Obviously that didn't happen and he was back in storylines by the end of the year.

I too agree with that. Tag wrestling in the '80s (NWA & WWF) was great. As the business headed into the '90s NWA/WCW had the advantage until mid-1994, after that tag wrestling has been in the decline. WWF 2000 did experience a tag wrestling boom with the Hardyz, Dudleys and Edge & Christian.

There's a logo for ZH (dated now because it involved WarGames) but I don't know the URL to it. Although I'd suggest you work on AM graphics, that's our big show so you should have a good amount of time to work on it.

That was something the OAOAST Mods were talking about. Nowadays we rarely say where the event is from, but the Silverdome was suggested for AM III to tie in with WM III.

I didn't know that. You're right, that is cool. LTK would be cool as well. I'm a little disappointed EA decided to make their first game based on a movie GoldenEye, but if it means they'll go after some of the other films I'd be down with that. Pipedream, but I'd like to see EA get John Barry to score a Bond game. Don't know if he would even consider it; it would be nice though.

EA is already developing the next 007 game based on a real James Bond film -- the wrong one but based on a film (which is a cool idea)nonetheless.

I'm not sure what to believe now. LatinoReview reported MGM said the rumors weren't true -- which is expected. CommanderBond.net said EON wouldn't confirm or deny the reports, which a company would normally do to shut up the reports. Then again, EON isn't exactly a normal company; they denied the reports Bond 20 would be named DAD, a few weeks later they announce the film's title is DAD. Brosnan's good for one more unless he's Cary Grant 2K4, looks the same into his late 50s and 60s.

I would trust him with a PPV, everybody sends their stuff in on time for our big shows. None of the guys who post the shows now had any experience before, and the fact he pretty much wrote almost all of IZ this week gives him a free pass on being late -- as most of IZ's are nowadays. We always look for guys who can step it up in whatever way they can.

Yup. Hogan was 'stacheless for WW3. I wonder who came up with that angle. It had to be either Kevin Sullivan or Hulk himself. I do believe it was for a movie so it makes sense that way, even if it was a shitty angle. Hogan was heel, that's why Tony didn't care then.

I second what Popick said, awesome effort from you. Now we know who we can use to post PPVs, etc. I like you excitement.

What makes it even worse (although I enjoyed parts of Moonraker) is the fact FYEO was going to be the follow up film to TSWLM. It wasn't the first time though, OHMSS was going to follow Goldfinger, etc. When I see TSWLM's credits and it says "James Bond Will Return...in For Your Eyes Only" I can only think of the John Barry score we didn't get. The title song might have been something totally different than what Bill Conti provided, but the disco elements of Conti's score would have been gone. I did like his score, however. Even the things I hate I like. I don't know much about Owen except he's giving me a Dalton vibe. He's said in the past he doesn't want the role but we know how that goes. If he ever got the part and Bond got serious, hopefully he wouldn't meet Dalton's fate which should of been Brosnan's fate had Pierce been the one stuck in the legal mess than put Bond on the sidelines.
