I'll never doubt Andrew WK's genius in writing extremely simple songs used for partying, because that's the only way I can stand his music: if it's background noise at a party. I respect him for getting popular on something so dumb, so simple, and yet so few people aim to do it. Same reason why I love Lil' Jon: he became popular because of how stupid his stuff is, but that's why people love it, and you know that he's rolling in huge piles of money going "wow, these people are idiots if they think all I know how to say are WWWHAT, YEEEEAH, and OOKAAAAAY."

I don't understand why they would pick Velvet Revolver AT ALL. To capture the disillusioned GNR fans? Well...no, because most of them hate Velvet Revolver too, since the boys seemed to lose their passion for gritty, fist-pumping rock n' roll. To make Sabbath seem better? Most likely, but paying a few thousand bucks to each member of a 5-piece band to go on tour with them is a little excessive just to make your own band seem better by comparison. If I hear that the actual FANS start shit with Velvet Revolver for sucking, I'm gonna laugh.

Get Mercedes Martinez in on that shit to show dem bitches how to WORK, and maybe I'll be interested. ...yes, I'm extremely biased towards Mercedes, since she is awesome.

If it makes you feel any better, I hate him after having listen to more than a couple of his songs because I find the music annoying and his re-use of the same lyrics in every song I've heard grating.

So take that as you may. Still doesn't prevent them from being another generic shitty Hatebreed-lite posercore band. Like you didn't expect people to boo Velvet Revolver anyway? This is a METAL and HARDCORE tour. If you put a SHITTY RADIO ROCK band on the bill, regardless of who is in it, do you not think the crowd would shit all over it? That would be the equivalent of having Nickelback headline the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.

How many were there? Because I have the three I've been able to find (Aerial Assault, Scarred, and Xtreme Action), with two being great (Aerial Assault, Xtreme Action) and one being dull and boring (Scarred).

Wal-Mart also owns most record stores on prices, don't forget. I buy my music at FYE (and their other franchises, like Strawberries), shows, and primarily NEWBURY FUCKIN' COMICS.

Don't worry, CC. I like Fozzy too. Took me a few listens of All That Remains to get me to like it, and I still don't think it's nearly at the level that it could've been (since the originals off Happenstance were good fucking metal), it's still better than half of the shit out there right now.

I posted a rant on my MySpace about why Bury Your Dead suck. Very little had to do with their disrespect towards Maiden, and most of it had to do with their shitty, shitty, SHITTY Hatebreed-lite "hardcore." Now, excuse me...but isn't hardcore about musical brutality and isn't the scene all about honor? Then why do hardcore bands and their fans shit on people in the scene that aren't as "big" as them and then cry about honor and love for one another? Why do hardcore bands stick to the same Drop-C tuning for every song, with the few bands that do try something new now and then (Biohazard, Merauder, and a lot of the horrorcore bands out there like Send More Paramedics and the ever-so-lovely ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE) they get shit on for not "sticking to the core"? I know hardcore started as part of a rebellion against bands that took their music too seriously, but if you're calling yourself a musician and don't want to write good music that stretches you beyond your abilities, then you're a shitty fucking musician.

Another reason to hate GENERIC SHITTY-ASS WANNABE hardcore and to love HEAVY FUCKIN' METAL.

Good show last season, no reason this one shouldn't be. Also, good idea of WWE to have the end of Raw be interesting before TUF2. I wouldn't have watched Raw at all had it not been on right before TUF2.

I'm pissed about Gigantour. I just found out about it last week, and I have NO MONEY FOR IT. Dream Theater? Goodness. Megadeth? Goodness when Mustaine plays very little after Countdown. Nevermore? Goodness before Enemies of Reality. Fear Factory? Ownage, my favorite band of the four on the bill. GRRRRRRRRR....

Yes...because a band from BRITAIN waving the BRITISH flag is so wrong. This douchebag that wrote this knows that almost all of Maiden's merch has the British flag on it, right? That everybody in Maiden are huge patriots? Fuck, that most British musicians seem to be huge patriots?
