I think it's done by the folks who do the Delta Park Project Podcast. I've listened to their show for a long time and those two are big time into the show.

Actually, I'd like to convince myself that Tiburon would like to dev the best game possible .. it's just the usual story of the publisher screaming "we've got product to move!"

Why would they feel the need to be perfect? It's not like you can buy any other new NFL games.

Holy shit, I had one of those! I remember distinctly coming home from a movie with my dad one night when I was like 5 or 6, only to discover that my 2-year-old sister had somehow gotten into my toys and broken one of the wings off my Voltron. My sister is almost 20 now and has no idea how close she came to never seeing her third birthday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still have mine sitting on my desk. I'm missing the damn head on the green lion though. Hope the movie doesn't turn out to be a big ol' piece of poo.

I love this game, if it is what I am thinking of. I know there was one (it may have been simulator 1.000 or whatever) that had a female team and a legends team, along with a few other special teams outside of the regular MLB ones. I believe this one also had the slot machine type thing where your batter/pitcher could get power ups like a super spin or a super fast or slow ball or a cannon shot. Oh man, I just remembered the all-robot team. The pitcher had a fucking cannon arm or some shit. I loved it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My brother destroyed our NES over this damn game. I was desparately clinging to a lead in the bottom of the ninth in the outer space stadium and got myself into a jam. I think was just about out of 'wacky points' or whatever that shit was the let you throw the crazy plays. Anyway it's two outs with a couple on base and I serve him up a BP fastball which he just knocks the absolute piss out of. We're talking 600ft out of here blast. My brother jumps up and is all, "YES YES!! HAHAHA EAT THAT ONE!!" Then he looks at the screen which says, "OUT! Game Over!" We both are like, "WTF?!?" until we see my centerfielder floating back down to the field. He must have leapt 400 feet in the air to rob him of the dinger. I bust out laughing and my brother just went apeshit and started stomping all over our NES. God I loved that game!

Recruiting sucks ass. I served seven years in the Navy. As my first assignment was coming to an end, BUPERS issued a mandate that ALL sailors headed to shore duty are to be screened for recruiting duty due to a lack of volunteers. Due my job rating as a personnelman I ended up being assigned to processing at the Houston MEPS. My job was to essentially reject the crap the recruiters were trying to put into the Navy. I had to put up with recruiters telling kids how to pass drug tests/buying cleanout kits from GNC, paying for abortions, forged medical records, phony parental consent, et al. The recruiters I knew worked twelve hours days, six days a week under intense pressure from the brass to put kids into the service. It was, and I'm sure still is, very common for these guys to cheat anyway possible to bring in their 1.5 kids a month and keep the CO's off their backs.

I'm not so sure I'd want to buy too many used PC games. For example I can walk into my local EB and back in the PC section they have a used shrinkwrapped copy(ies) of Diablo 2 with the CD-Key printed right on the front so everyone can see and jot it down. It's probably too much of a hassle to determine which games keys are used up once you register it (like STEAM games) to deal with.

Have shuffle songs turned on.. Music->Artists (choose your band here)->All (should be listed atop all that artist's albums)

Amen! Hallway ... room shoot bad guy, turn around and shoot bad guy that spawned behind you, proceed to next hallway, etc. Thank god for HL2 to justify my upgrade as well.

I'll third that as well. Even though it was totally arcadey, Burnout 3 made me feel like I was screaming down the roads with the blur effects and the crashes. Knowing I'm only going to come to a stop after missing a turn or bumper-car the AI cars through a corner in Gran Turismo just isn't fun anymore.

The new Mini's battery life just went up from 8 to 18hrs max advertised.

Killroy Was Here was Styx's weird attempt at rock opera. The lead singer played Kilroy, a rockstar that was jailed because rock n roll was outlawed or something like that. He beat up a "Mr. Roboto" guard and got inside the suit to escape. The "I'm Kilroy" part is where he takes off the Roboto helmet to reveal himself to Tommy Shaw.

I play Scrabble a lot, and occasionally Clue and The Price is Right.

Cool, I'd much rather quest than kill the same rats over and over for a couple hours only to see my progress bar go up 1% anyday. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a copy, until then it's all about Sid Meier's Pirates! ARRR!

Can't find a damn copy anywhere. =( So I settled for EQ2 and promptly wished that I hadn't. (30 day trial and out) Answer this for me. How much of a time sink is it compared to the others that you've played?
