Who did it turn out to be? Bruce's childhood friend Tommy Elliot. However, recent Gotham Knights issues have revealed that Hush isn't Elliot. Lieberman hasn't made a revelation yet, but I'm sure it's coming since GK has become an unofficial Hush title.

DETECTIVE COMICS #803 $2.95 I'll get it if I can find a place to get it. My local shop closed as of yesterday.

I thought McMahon owned the AWA name. I can't see this coming back to the US without some kind of lawsuit if they promote it as the AWA.

I just finished reading the WCW death book, and have a few questions relating to merchandising. 1. WCW never seemed to be heavy into selling their stuff on tape even during their boom period. They had the hour long tapes, but the PPVs weren't really available to the general public. They sold for close to $60 to rental places, unlike WWF stuff which was close to $20 starting in 1998 after dumping Coliseum which had the $40 price for tapes. I can't see why they wouldn't have marketed them more, unless there was a specific reason that someone may know? 2. Was DVD ever on the horizon for the company? WWF had their first discs out in mid-99 and WCW was probably still hot enough to push units.

I never really liked Diane, I never found Shelly Long to be funny, just annoying. Coach's death also took some steam away from the show. Once Rebecca came on I thought it improved quite a bit. Although the first few years with Rebecca were good, the show stayed past its welcome in my mind. Also if you're in Boston, I'd recommend checking out the Bull & Finch pub. The food is great and you get to see the inspiration for Cheers. Hell, while you're in Boston, there's also the replica of the TV bar located at Faneuil Hall.

Strangest Kayfabe reasons for a heel turn
Grenouille replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
D'Lo and Mark Henry had its moments. "Can't a brother get some sauce!!". Anyway, how about the Bulldog's turn in '95. If I remember correctly it was a tag match with Diesel against the MOM. I don't remember it coming with any real reason and he joined Camp Cornette soon after. -
Does anyone else see a slight discrepancy here? That's taken out of context, he's pointing out that there have been NWA champions who weren't great 'wrestlers.' If we're talking about 90's Baba I'd agree, but if you've seen his work from the 60s, 70s and early 80s he was a very competent worker, especially for a big man.

Does anyone think this game would be decent if ported to PC? Online probably would be a hell of alot better and people could make graphic add-ons for the CAW and default wrestlers. Unlimited CAWs and imported music would be nice which seems to be a limitation of the PS2.

Here's my look at the Sox free agents. Terry Adams - Easily gone. Pedro Astacio - Same as Adams Ellis Burks - Already said he's retiring. Orlando Cabrera - Boston fell in love with him, but his price soared as he produced. I'd like to see him sign on for 2 years until Hanley Ramirez is ready, but I'm sure OC probably wants atleast 4 without any kind of discount the Sox would want him to take. Ricky Gutierrez - Expensive bench warmer here, elsewhere he can start. Gabe Kapler - Took a discount last year to stay another year. I could see him moving out to a place like Colorado. Curtis Leskanic - Dump him. Derek Lowe - A playoff hero. I'm sure the Sox will low ball him with an offer, but I sure there are plenty of teams ready to dish out cash for a head case. Pedro Martinez - Petey seems like he wants to stay and I think that he's a safe bet for 3 more years. The money is the big issue because it's clear he wants more than he's worth at this point. Dave McCarty - He was ready to retire and coach if he didn't make the team last year, I'm sure he's gone, but what he'll do I'm not sure. Ramiro Mendoza - Hey even Theo makes mistakes, another one to dump. Doug Mirabelli - Most likely gone, and it'll probably hurt Wake's pitching. Bill Mueller - He isn't a long term solution for 3B, but the option at 2.1 is a bargain. Mike Myers - Good with lefties, and righties may as well have a tee. See you later. Pokey Reese - Probably wouldn't play everyday, and although he became a quick fan favorite, he'll be gone. My pick is Cincy. Jason Varitek - The team leader, and probably #1 priority. I don't think he'll get Pudge money that Boras is looking for, but maybe something closer to Javy Lopez's contract. Scott Williamson - Great when he's healthy, but he wasn't around for much of this year and probably gone.

I'd assume that it takes place after IC, especially with the events of #4, I believe. As for the return of Hal, I'm not sure. The GL I grew up reading was Kyle, but from the various Hal stuff I've read he's been good. Honestly I look forward to what Johns will do, even if it means offing Kyle. What I'm looking forward to is the reaction from the other characters to Hal's return. I'm sure guys like Ollie will be glad to have there pal back, but I'm sure there's going to be lots of tension especially with a guy like Bats. Ah well, a few more hours.

Damn, the Yankees still have 24 outs and Derek Lowe is on the mound, this isn't over yet.

Damn, if Dale Sveum is employed next year he better give a big thanks to Ortiz.
-
Left specialist, just for Matsui.

Who the? You mean Carlos Arroyo? Bizmarkee Arroyo~! Papi Ortiz has trouble against lefties... Like Jarrod Washburn? Nelson, just gave Heredia a big gift.

I'm not too picky about grades. I really don't see my comics as a big investment. As long as the staples are strong and there's no huge problem (big folds, large rips) I'm pretty happy. For older stuff I like trades. DC's archive editions are great, but damned expensive.
