I would go with my external hard drive I use at work which stores a bunch of old files from 5-10 years ago. It has almost as much information in it as Eddie had about wrestling. I don't know the name of this drive, but it has www.acomdata.com on it. In a way this kinda sucks, because now whenever I go to use it to print out a file my boss wants which I've never heard of because it was last revised in 1997, I'll be thinking of Eddie. And I get woozy enough when I look at my computer screen for eight hours a day, I don't need Eddie's memory clouding my vision any more...

The problem for me is that I don't play that many games. HOWEVER, one time when I was playing Madden I drafted this Puerto Rican guy in the seventh round and his stats weren't that good. I still kept him though because he was really fast. And although he didn't play, after a season his stats got better and I eventually had him as my dime back instead of this slow-ass guy I drafted in the second round of that year. So every time Jose Cortez (no relation to the kicker -- lolz) tackles someone on a kickoff return, or if he gets an INT in a Cover 2, I will always think of Eddie Guerrero. Except of course, when Jose gets burned deep, then I won't be thinking of Eddie Guerrero...

I teared up when I read that Eddie G thread, but not for the reasons most people did at that place...

Well, you're in a shitty field in regards to job prospects. Not saying you can't land a job, but it'll probably be tough, unless you kissed a lot of booty in school and you can get a prof to hook you up with a job. This coming from someone with a Journalism degree, so we're kinda related, although I'm more of a print guy as opposed to broadcast. Where are you now and where do you plan to go when you graduate?...

When I worked at the gas station we had a guy do just that, and yes we did laugh at him afterward. I'm sure he wasn't all up there though, considering he wasn't allowed to work the register. He didn't last long...

You're right about that, although my place was pretty cool with the passes. Our first-run theaters on the other hand would be next-to-impossible, from what I heard. What was their reasoning, if you remember? Perhaps the manager was trying to warn you about seeing it...

Here's something that happened to me when I used to work at the theater. I was selling tickets, and it was some three-day-weekend holiday. We sold out of a 1 p.m. showing of Madeline, which if you're not familar with the character, was popular a few years ago. Anyway, kids were coming to this movie dressed up in outfits like this: And their parents were taking pictures of them. Well, when I came out of the box office at 2 p.m., which was when the ticket seller took his or her break, I noticed there was a somber mood in the lobby. I asked someone what happened and was told that our manager, who was in charge of running all eight projection machines, accidently put in the movie that was going to be shown in the evening for theater #6, instead of putting in Madeline, which was the movie to be shown for theater #6's 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. showings. Theater #6's evening feature? Baseketball. And it played for about 5-10 minutes before a patron came out and asked an usher "Is somebody supposed to be peeing in Madeline?" Oh, and theaters are real anal about giving cash refunds, so the free passes aren't surprising...
