Would you meet someone from the board in person?
kkktookmybabyaway replied to a topic in No Holds Barred
There are a number of people I wouldn't mind meeting from here, but I'm too lazy to name them all (although I'd love to attend a WTO protest with Rant). I would meet Ripper, but I wouldn't let him in my house -- at least until I hide all the good silverware... -
That guy who had a run-and-gun college basketball program and then flopped with the Nuggets in the early '90s (I think he was a Laker coach before, too) -- was it Paul Westhead?...

Charles Barkley had a book dedicated to his quotes -- Read that to get my answer. EDIT: Actually, I just remembered this gem. It has nothing to do with pro athletes, but back after the Pirates won their most recent Division title (in '92!) I had a neighbor my age (he had a 0.57 gpa in high school) and said, "You know, if the Pirates went out and got a good hitter like Ken Griffey Jr., and got some decent pitching, they'd be pretty good next year." Such insight...

See, cereb, it reached a whole CONTINENT. Chill out, conspiracy nut...

I'm sure those PLO members are just acting out their aggressions due to a rough childhood. Let us gather 'round and pray...

I think Tyler's just setting us all up for some big behind-the-scenes powerplay that's about to go down...

EDIT: Nevermind...

Wow, I saw all the shows this past Saturday night -- great stuff. The O'Reilly spoof was good, although I thought they were going to do more with that, like having Bill pimp his Factor Gear, or not letting any guests get a word in edgewise. Another thing: Although I understand why they wanted a "left" and "right" representative on this show, I've always seen Union folk bitch about gettin' d'er jobs taken away, not conservative rednecks. I could be wrong, however. Another highlight was Randy being pro-future gookhead until he lost his job due to them...

I was thinking more along the lines of "Wall of lies" or something of the sort. Oh, and how can anyone not want this man to be POTUS?...

Gramm(e)r God. Odd, considering I usually suck at these tests. I thought #7 was interesting...

Muslim call to prayer to be broadcast in Mich town

I remember hearing church bells ringing in my hometown of Sharpsburg, Pa. I never heard them anywhere else -- and I've lived across the street from a church in Ohio and currently live in an area where there's like four churches a mile or so away... -
The Democrats would be unpatriotic if they did this. Wait a second...

...and will probably be signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates soon thereafter...

Oh lord. There's a local right-wing radio morning host that's been saying Hillary will be the '04 nod for a while now. Please don't let this conspiracy spread here...
-
Probably, but I got better things to do. Like go out to lunch...

How could the Dems be against their Vietnam War Hero? And speaking of everybody's favorite conflict: If people think Kerry talks too much about his stint there, listen to Terry McAwful go on about it. Ugh. Oh, and Sesame Street Journal? Thumbs down...

Did he find it? I know, I know. I'm going to hell -- no need to say what a horrible person I am...

So if the Vietnam Conflict had gone on for another year or so we'd have No NoCal Mike. Oh, my old man almost participated in Korea -- he jumped out of air planes and stuff. The closest thing to combat he had, according to him, was one night him and a few buddies were in Japan getting drunk and a bunch of natives started surrounding their jeep in a threatening manner. His one friend then grabbed the gun on the jeep and threatened to fire. The mob scattered. I also knew this one guy that fought in Korea at my one job. The stories he had to tell. Not only did he have part of a finger shot off he had several holes from a bayonett (sp?) attack. He called them his "multiple belly-buttons" and he proudly showed them to me...

IMO: Much like Tino said, I don't think Wilbon is a RACIST, but he does have a LOT of double standards in regards to race mattes. I remember when Sapp made his "slave master" comments, Wilbon just went "We have to think about what he said and see if there is any deep meaning to it," but then he'll crap his pants with other matters. I just chalk it up to having to watch ESPN...

Koppel would still be reading those names today...

So let me get this straight -- even after they found out the guy had a bomb, and planned on killing himself, among others, with it, they tried to take it from him? Link...

Baseketball -- it combines two sports into one...

I say send them to counseling -- they obviously had a rough childhood and shouldn't be blamed for acting out...

I call Berman a few pet names other than Boomer...

Yeah, this is pretty petty and juvenile. Keep up the good work guys, and chickenhawks -- this is some great stuff...
