If you're a Devil Rays season ticket holder, I"m sure the team would be able to comp your trip to Japan. How many season ticket holders can there be in Tampa? So is Joe Torre fired?...

Here's an updated article -- be wary of the source though (Washington Times -- sorry, I don't have a "OMG" nickname for this newspaper [yet...]) Source

Things with which we'd be better off without.

OK -- stupid question here. These "Platinum Hits" or PS2's "Greatest Hits." Did these games actually pass some sales milestone, or is just a fancy smancy name given to games that have been around for a while, still manage to sell and dropped in price?...

I didn't want you to be trailing the pack. That's like the home team getting thumped at its own homecoming game (not my fault I don't hate anyone on that list)... -

"Was"? That implies past-tense. I may be wrong on this, but I'm sure there will be a Mrs. Rant in the not-too-distant future. There's already a Baby (future hippie chick) Rant...

Now I realize most of you out there are either getting high or trying to get laid on the weekends, but for the few of us who aren't I'm just curious to see if anyone watches those cheesy weekend-only shows on cable news. For me, I can't miss an episode of (OMG) FAUX NEWS (LOL2004) Watch. I can't explain this attraction. It's just there. And to make matters stranger, my favorite person on that show is Neal Gabler of FAIR. Pinkerton is OK, but his delivery is terrible. Cal Thomas is just there and I want to take a bat to Jane Hall's skull...

I think Lee should direct Hulk 2 -- his movie was hyped so much it wasn't going to meet any of those expectations. Damnit...

Well how about if I hate you -- would that make you feel better?...

Wasn't my fault -- there were not any public fountains at the East Village Coffee Shop, where I was spending all my free time talking about corporate globalization with NPR playing in the background...

Tell me about it. Not only did my hair start to grow real long real fast, but little flowers and peace signs were starting to appear on my clothes...

I like Mike. I like Rant. I have been on unemployment. That's all...

Is he still calling it the "O'Franken Factor" as if that's at all witty? "Al Franken is an ugly, obnoxious Jew and other stuff I noticed" > "O'Franken Factor" Oh, a few weeks back Rush played some clips of Katie Couric pimping some upcoming story about a dude in North Dakota (or somewhere up there) who was supposed to be the next "challenge" to Limbaugh (I've seen him on Scarborough's show -- he doesn't seem that bad). Then when the story was actually broadcast later on the Today Show it turns out this guy only has a handful of stations. Now I know you're supposed to pimp a story later in the show, but to hear the hope and passion in Katie's voice was funny...

Since network television is being brought up here, I have to give props to Russert. Oh, and with all the "FAUX NEWS" jokes that go around here, isn't it funny how George Steph-whatever-his-name-is anchors one of these shows?...
