Show has been getting better as the week goes on, but there are a few things I can't get out of my mind. 1) The political jokes do seem to have lost their zing a bit, but I guess that's what can happen when you have to fill 4-5 hours of TV time per week (not sure if he'll have repeats on Friday) as opposed to 30 minutes per week, with half of it either just swearing or laughing at his own jokes. 2) Better guests, please. Namoi Wolf isn't insightful -- I have to laugh at her giving campaign advice. I'm not a big Horowitz fan either. I will say that Short did make me laugh tonight though. 3) I guess this is a good thing but the show seems to fly by. Every time they're done with the panel discussion I can't believe that it's '10 'till the hour...

Howie's recent let's-win-the-big-states strategy reminds me a bit of Ivan Itkin's plan to unseat Tom Ridge as PA governor in the '98 election. Itkin's strategy was to campaign in something like nine counties. Now granted Ivan was going to campaign in the bigger counties, but PA has more than 60 of them. Oh, he also lost big time...

If we lived in kkk World, one of my laws would be that any politician that opposes school vouchers would have to send their kids to a D.C. public school. I'm starting to think another law would be if a judge lets some "kid" like this beast out that the "child" has to live in the judge's house until he/she is 18 years old just so the judge and his/her family can personally oversee the "kiddie's" rehabilitation efforts...
