Here's my story. When at the Quickie Mart, I got a 50-cent raise (this is money, mind you, not the rapper) and I made the fatal mistake of telling a co-worker this. This chick then flipped out and threw a massive hissy fit. Of course, the reason I GOT a bigger raise than most was because I took over duties for my manager in regards to supply truck shipments and many times stayed until 2 a.m. putting stuff away (I had a 8 a.m. class the next morning, and better yet the subject was Francais -- oh those were fun times.) Our "feud" went on for months, which was fine with me. Just one less bitch to worry about offending because she was a Clinton-lover...

Better than the coffee at your last place of employment, huh? That stuff made me sick the only time I had it. I could also feel this grimy film form across my teeth after I drank it...

Not when I worked at places that required lifting. When I did fast-food/movies thing, guess who had to change all the pop syrup boxes and carry boxes from the supply truck? Yep. When I did the Quickie Mart thing, guess who always had to haul 50 lb mulch bags around? Yep. When I did all this crap, guess which gender always sat around doing nothing? Yep. So when I hear this equal pay for equal work shit, I just laugh and scratch my nuts...

...is there any lawyer that ISN'T in it for the money? Yes, but when I say a lawyer is in it for the money the person is a REAL scumbag. Funny lawyer story. My better half and I rent a duplex from the father (I'll call him Tom) of my better half's best friend. The people that lived here beforehand were Tom's brother and Tom's brother's wife. Tom's brother is a lawyer. Here's a short list of his guy's accomplishments: 1) Made his elderly parents sign over all their "rights" and assets to him and were placed in a retirement home. 2) Didn't pay their garbage bill for the last month. (Guess how I know that one?) 3) Moved out three weeks late and didn't give my better half a chance to move some early stuff in. 4) Said that they would leave two unit air conditioners in place for us (We offered to buy them off him), and when we moved in during a sweltering August evening, guess what wasn't there? Yep. Gee, and this guy's a lawyer?...

YES. (Was is three weeks? I thought it was less than that!) And thank God it got aborted before growing fingers and toes. Personally, I always wondered why that show got pimped during football -- not exactly a target audience for that show...

There are plenty of things annoying with ESPN, those commercials aren't one of them. But then again there's plenty of things that bug the living sh*t out of me that many at this place will probably think is brilliant. And that's OK...

OK, now I have a serious question. Did the military overdramatize this rescue or the media? When a story like this hits I just tune out because I know I'm going to get sick of hearing about it. However, whenever I saw a Rummy press conference it seemed like he, or another spokesperson, was always playing this incident down saying that they have no idea what the facts/details are. I'm probably going to get "R U MAD?" posts from some places here, but I'm totally serious on this...

The lawyer for this lawsuit was on Pittsburgh cable news show for a local right-wing talk radio a few weeks ago, and man is he in this for the money BIG TIME. He tried suing a video game maker/distributor before and the case was dismissed. He's a scumbag...
