If I'm able to I will--I missed some things people were mentioning. You should get that checked out. Sounds serious. Am I the only one who simply doesn't see Robin working as a serious character in a live action film?

Saddam seems to want to get his own ABC sitcom sometime in the future.

That's the biggest problem fans have. *His* vision. The 60's show/movie, stupid as it tended to be, was pretty close to how the comics were at the time, but that's not the case for B&R. And Burt Ward was still better than O'Donnell. I couldn't buy a young man who looked about 23 crying hysterically over his family's death and needing a guardian. Come on, don't insult our intelligence (okay, deck chairs/Titanic in regards to B&R, but still). At least have him get loaded, take cheap shots at Batman and become Nightwing right away if you're not going to honor the tone of the comics. Ward I could at least buy as still being a minor.

I was considering sticking this in the Begins thread, but just in case-- Swiped off Insidepulse who swiped it from DVD Times: Maybe Forever will be a bit better in the DC--or maybe just longer and more boring. I'd expect Schumacher's commentaries to be bitter and venomous. Or deluded and hilarious.

Typically the best of the bad ones are side scrolling beat 'em ups. Awful A.I., goofy character designs, 80's out the wazoo, boring and repetitious gameplay--that's the stuff! And when it comes to that, I immediately think of Two Crude Dudes for Genesis. As far as I know, it's an arcade translation of the sequel to the infamous Bad Dudes. That's not to say it's as good as Bad Dudes, or has nearly as much charm. You can tackle it 1-player, or, naturally, get a friend to control your other Dude, but they look almost exactly alike. Both are hulking brutes with dark sunglasses, a mohawk, a vest with no shirt underneath, boots, jeans, and kneepads (?!). The Dudes are surprisingly spry, able to jump kick and climb as well as they can HEAVE CARS OVER THEIR HEADS and chuck them at their enemies. Ninjas don't kidnap the president--rather, we're in some post-apocalyptic city crawling with biker punks, freaks, mutants, and the occasional pack of ninjas. It's a good thing you're such a FREAKIN HUGE target. All the 80's cliches, the soda pop chugging, the amusing weapons, goofy/weird bosses, etc. add up to make a beat 'em up spectacular in its awfulness.

Good moveset but spotty as hell. Plus, early on he was quite sloppy. It wasn't until he trimmed down and dropped the goofier character that he got more interesting to watch. His TV matches were always extremely short, though. And of course Styles was joking. WWE doesn't care about Dean/Nova one way or the other. However, don't forget that the WWE-created Simon Dean character is inherently superior to any of the Nova characters, because it's a WWE creation.

I don't think it's happened on TV, at least. IIRC Angle was still a heel when Batista was on SD (also a heel), and Batista didn't have any major programs wrestling, so I doubt it. So not too sure how they'll mesh, but I'm not expecting anything spectacular. They never stated if the title was on the line, but nothing says it is so I'll assume non-title. I guess it's a tease that *maybe* it will end clean, but I'm trained to expect HHH, HBK, or both of them to run in. Raw pretty much has everybody of merit on SD at this point, except for JBL. So it'll probably be some midcarder and hopefully SD gets somebody decent. Draft guess: Raw gets Torrie and SD gets Kane, who presumably will crash the wedding. Unless Matt comes back, there's no other point to doing it. -
*remembers when there'd be a rush to post this Sunday night* At least they're promoting a match for this show.

Mandy Moore is pretty much the only one of the pop stars who consistently takes a wide variety of roles. I want that skin-eating serial killer movie with her, though. *checks Rottentomatoes* Wow, critics not being kind to TPM at all....

That's a lie, Angle-plex. They remixed his music about 3 times! Plus he's gotten different ring and entrance attire! He wears more purple these days and has more purple in his entrance video. ...seriously though, he's not as bad as the Dudleys, but it's either the whiny heel character or the goofy face character, and WWE isn't going to let him do anything much different than those.
-
Well, the PSP has kiddie games like the new Grand Theft Auto coming out for it. (which is honestly probably played by more kids than adults)
-
As long as Jericho's barely at the 6' mark, he's going to be playing the whiny Honky heel. I think it's a moot argument anymore, since even Jericho's accepted that he's never going to be more than a upper midcarder, and despite all the "Jericho is bulletproof" claims, I don't feel anybody would ever view him as a legitimate title threat anymore.
-
(Rare detractor)Because they can't make good new games anymore. (/Rare detractor) (Rare fanboy)Because after the criminally underrated Grabbed by the Ghoulies, they've been pumping their efforts into Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero, and this is just a little bonus in the meantime.(/Rare fanboy)

True, but I feel the first Batman movie had the best script out of all of the 4. Returns though--well, Pfeiffer + leather and Walken were the most memorable parts of it. The last half hour or so is just as stupid as anything in Joel's versions. Was the "nine lives" thing really any worse than some of the stuff in Catwoman? I think not. It was a total mess of a movie.

I thought that was Orton, who is supposedly 6'4". Or is he the Best Pure Athlete in WWE? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Taking over for that wrestling illuminary, Bily Gunn? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One of those vague titles that mean nothing to marks or smarks. And whoop, the return of the goofy looking fratboy.

"highest vertical leap in WWE" = JACK ****!!!

He hasn't been pushed as a heel in a long time, and vs. La Res you're a de facto face. Heat machine seems to be on.

WWE-ized Juvi was hella weak, but I guess it's good he's not killing himself on a show hardly any fans watch or one that *no* top WWE management ever glances at.
