Well, for like the first time EVER at my house, we are having a HUGE New Year's Eve bash. Usually, it consists of just me and my family....waiting...waiting...then 12am hits....sleepy time. This year, we are seeing family we have never seen before, and since they are going...like a bunch of my family are going. We are having like....20 ppl over.

I thought the match was great. Possibly, THE best HHH match of the year, and another great match for HBK. But....woah....it isn't 4 3/4 stars.....

Well, if anyone has Dled the latest AIM beta, they just keep adding more and more features! Now, it has Video Chat! Of course, it recommends you to use it with broadband. Also, little pop up windows appear to notify you if ppl are away, signing off, etc, just like in Dead AIM. Also, you can link screennames. Basically, if you have another s/n you use, you can link buddy lists, and your buddy list from your other s/n will be tabbed with the current buddy list you are using! Pretty good additions if you ask me....

Well, this started yesterday. I boot up the PC, and then the CPU usage is at 100% the whole time! This then causes the PC to slow down...BIG TIME. Everything lags, and takes forever to process. In the Task Manager (since I have Windows 2000), I checked what was running. And I have multiple instances of the service svchost.exe. Also, an svchosts32.exe file is running. Some of the instances take over 6K in usage! I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but before yesterday, I booted up the PC, and it said an ACPI device isn't working. It also said I may have to flash my BIOS. I just restarted the PC, and went along. Two days later, this problem began. If anyone can help me....it would be appreciated!

STOP THE PRESSES! Tokyo.....don't delete your HDD... I finally got rid of the damn virus! How? Go to MrRant's Things you need for you PC thread. If you don't have updated AV software, go to the AV software called EZ Armor Suite. It comes with AV software and Firewall. Also, manually DL the latest AV updates for it. The version is 6.1.Once you DL all of that, install the software in Safe Mode, since this virus will try to either terminate or corrupt the installation under normal operation. Install the latest AV update. You will then be able to use the AV software. Start the scan, and as it goes through your PC, it will delete the registry keys associated with that virus, or ANY other viruses you may have. It will either delete or fixed infected files. If the files aren't deleted, just go to the directory it points to, and manually delete them. Once all of that is done, reboot normallly, and voila! The virus is gone! I won't be needing to reformat. I will just let XP do all that when installing.

I had no firewalls running before. I will probably just reinstall it.

Referring to NoCalMike's post, that's how many minutes it took me to DL it. Well, the firewall is acting up. It says something about TrueVector Internet Security shutting down. Then, as soon as I get online, it blocks access. I do the steps listed on the page, nothing. I disabled the firewall in safe mode. Everytime I activate the AutoDownload feature of the AV software, the virus terminates the app, since it terminates EVERY AV software. I should scan the PC in safe mode then, correct? UPDATE: Hella SWEET. EZ Virus detected and deleted all the viruses that were giving me those problems! I guess after I get the burner, I won't need to worry about COMPLETELY wiping out the viruses. I can just repartition from within the XP setup. Thanks MrRant for posting that AV software.

That AV program you guys talking about... what was the size of the download?

AV 3 will suck...BIG TIME. The reason I even liked any of the AV movies was because of Carrey. Mask 2...with a baby....

Well, I am getting a burner and burning all my important data. I am using Win2k right now. I have that damn virus I mentioned in that HUGE thread. My teacher at school said that if I were to restore to factory defaults, it would not delete the virus from the HDD. The only way is to actually do a clean install I guess, and repartition the drive. The question is this: Will my PC be compatible with XP? I got this PC in 2001, and the BIOS is still from that year. Will all the hardware on the PC now (CDROM, HDD, etc) that came with the PC in 2001 work under XP? I am hoping the drivers are there in XP, and Auto-Detect everything. I would rather just upgrade to XP instead of restoring back to the headche known as ME.

Thing is....I don't even have the 2K cd. I have my ways to get XP My friend is gonna give me Pro, with some CD key hack. I would rather just upgrade to that, than stick with 2k.

Wow, some SD match being booked for RR. Speaking on Benoit for a sec, and since Foley is back, I still remember the 2 TITLE wins Benoit had.....for about 3 seconds, when Foley appeared and said he cheated and to start the match over again.

That little newsbit about Vince/Steph......holy shit....DUH!!! I thought the Foley angle was awesome. I liked it, and I don't know what the boys in the back were thinking when they say the creative team blew it.

For me...it would be EXTREMELY hard to get a place of my own right now. I live in an area with some of the HIGHEST rents for apartments in the NATION! Most ppl around here who own houses are either rich, or lucky to get houses around here. One of my teachers back in high school teaches here in NJ, and he lives in Allentown, PA! He had to go that far to get a house! Everything around here is TOO expensive. He comes down every day to work in NJ. At this point, I probably won't be leaving my house for a couple of years.

Oh yes, the cancer has returned. HHH's group, EVILution has basically taken ALL The major belts on RAW. I can sense RAW sucking for like the next 3 months and shit. I had to cringe at the fact HHH got the belt again..
